When you get (badly) injured

Amity: PANICC. She is calling Emira so fucking fast. Once the initial panic calms down she wraps abomination goo around the wound. Once Emria shows up she majorly calms down. Once Emria is done she makes sure you're fully alright.

Luz: Screaming and crying. I'm joking but she is scared. She quickly gets wrap-around band-aids with normal fun band-aids on top. Makes sure you are healing properly. Will not tolerate you overexerting yourself. She'll help you do anything that requires you to move the part of your body that you hurt.

Willow: Tries her best to be calm. She disinfects and badges you up. Then nearly kills you with a bear hug. She is slightly more protective of you for the next week or two (I.E. any time you fall a bunch of vines sprout up stopping you from falling.)

Hunter: More shaken up than you. He has a lot of knowledge on how to bandage wounds after being in the Emperor's coven. He shakily disinfects the wound and puts wrap-around bandages on it. He keeps asking if you're okay over and over. He is overprotective of you afterward. Overall pretty okay.

Vee: Has no clue what to do. While she was in captivity she rarely got majorly hurt. She quickly fetches Luz and Camila and asks them for advice. Camila is way more helpful than Luz. (also get ready for at least one hour of cuddles.)

Raine: They are so very worried about you :(. Since they led multiple rebel groups they have informed themselves on how to properly patch up a wound. Gives you painkillers when they can. Also helps you rest with a bard spell.

Eda: "Pretends to be all cold-hearted but actually cares a lot!" She has bought potions to help heal people so she gives you one of them. After you fully healed she cuddles with you in her nest. She's in harpy mode and has her wings wrapped around you.

Emira: She can heal you herself. So she isn't really worried at all. She gives you a lot of kisses though. 10/10 would recommend as a caretaker.

Edric: He panics. Hard. He gives you healing potions like Eda. You do heal pretty quickly (especially compared to how much he panicked.) He does baby you even a week after you fully heal-

The Collector: They can just heal you with a snap of their fingers lmao.

Lilith: She is actually pretty calm. In the same vein as Raine and Hunter, she used to basically be second in command of the Emperor's coven. So she calmly patches you up. While lecturing you to be more careful.

Gus: Very sad to see you hurt. He swiftly gets one of his friends. Most likely Willow. Gives you so many hugs.

Grom Jitters

This couldn't be happening…

This CAN’T be happening! As much as he would like to complain about it, Edric only had himself to blame. “What for?” you may be asking. Well, Starting a few days ago Edric, may or may not have let it slip to Emira and Amity that he, may or may not have a big fat crush on you. He wasn't the best at hiding secrets, especially from his sisters, but he thought he could at the very least keep this one. 

But of course, he couldn't, as soon as his sisters started talking about who they were going with to Grom, his mind immediately started to wander to you. He started thinking about the way your eyes light up when you talk about something you like, how you patiently listened to him talk, and the times you brought him snacks, even though he didn't ask for them.

He knew he had a silly crush before but he didn't realize how much he actually liked you. How much he wants you to be there with him, dance with him… just have fun with him.

“I want to go with Y/n” Edric sighs, it takes him a second before he even realizes he said it out loud. His back quickly went straight, he really hoped they didn't hear him but it was clearly written on their faces. The room was quiet for what felt like an eternity, but it couldn't have been more than a few seconds. But then it happened, the hurricane of questions began to be flung at him.

“Y/n?!” They both scream

“When are you gonna ask Him?” Amity asks,

“No offense but Y/n is way out of your league,” Emira says bluntly

“Rude, but… true. And I'm not going to ask Him! And even if I did, I doubt He'd want to go with me.  He probably has a date already too.” Edric says as he slumps back into his chair, hands covering his face,  excuse after excuse leaving his lips. 

“Hey, don't talk like that Ed, from what I’ve been told by Luz and him, He doesn't have one yet.” Amity reassures him, He slowly moves his hands from his face, before looking away to the corner of the room.

“Well even if that's true, I think he would just laugh at me for even asking him that.” Edic grips his hair lightly just imagining the embarrassing thought.

“OK Ed, now you're just being ridiculous, you know he wouldn’t do that!” Emira says, nudging his shoulder a bit. They were right, Y/n wouldn't do that, He is far too nice to ever dream of doing that to someone. 

“Come on Ed, you might as well try! The worst he can say is no.” Amity once again reassures. Edric Looks back at his sisters, they clearly won't take no for an answer. 

“Ugh… Fine.” He stretches his words then leans back up in his chair, “So… How do I ask him?

The girls thought for a moment

“You could write them a poem?” Amity thinks out loud

“No, the last time I did that I got stood up” 

“To be fair, you did accidentally send it to their mom” Emira snickered as Edric’s face flushed a bright red.

“How about you… bake him something? I baked Luz a Fairy pie when I had a crush on her.” Amity lists more ideas

“Hmm,  I do get good grades in the Potions track, surely baking couldn't be too different,” Edric thought  “Ok, Baking it is!” 

“Ok then, so with that settled, we will help you bake and you will ask him the day before Grom!” Emria Said clapping her hands.

3 days later

“OK Ed, I had Luz ask Y/n what his favorite flavor of cookies is, and she also gave us a recipe she memorized from the human realm, so surely this should suffice.” Amity began laying stuff on the counter “I had to get the ingredients myself as Luz is busy occupying Y/n all day.”

“Wait, Where’s Emira?” Edric asked

“Oh, she's out grabbing some last-minute things for us, she'll be back soon.”

“Alright then, Time to make the best cookies Y/n would ever try!” And with that Amity and Edric began to work.

Amity set the oven to preheat as Edric sat out the supplies they needed, then Amity began to read the ingredients and Edric put them in,

“Then after the vanilla, butter, and sugar is mixed well add in flour, salt, and-” Amity stopped.

“And what?” Edric asked, confused but then Amity carried on.

“-and Baking soda, Now, I couldn't find “Baking Soda”  but I did find this regular soda in the night market, but I doubt there will be much difference,” Amity said closing the written recipe and placing it on the counter

“How much did the recipe say to add in?” Edric asked

“The note didn't say how much, hmm will just add one can just to be safe.” 

With that, they poured the soda into the cookie mix and stirred it until ready, 

“That should do it,” Edric said, wiping the sweat from his forehead. “Time for it to go into the oven for…10 minutes and we can let them cool.”

As they are waiting for the cookies to bake, Emira comes through the door holding something behind her back.

“Hey, how's the cookies going? I got the stuff you wanted, Mittens” Emira says, handing Amity a bouquet of red flowers. Edric forgot the name of the flowers but he knows they are pretty common amongst couples on the boiling isles.

“What are those for?” Edric asks

“Ed, Surely you can't be that dense right?” Emira says a slight chuckle escaping her lips at her twins' oblivious nature.

“I had Emira fetch you some flowers for Y/n. According to Willow, these were Y/n’s favorites when she showed him her flower collection.” Amity said, wrapping a ribbon around the bouquet to complete it.

*Beep**Beep**Beep**Beep*

“Ah, looks like the cookies are done,” Amity said putting on an oven mitt and opening the door to see…”Um… Ed, we have a little bit of a problem”

“What? What's wrong?!” Ed walks in a hurry to the oven to see the issue.

Where what should have been “the best cookies Y/n would ever try” was a cookie tray filled with melting, liquid, cookie(?) mix. Amity quickly took them out of the oven and placed them on the stove. 

“Uh no! What happened?! It should have turned out good.” Edric almost yelled before sinking to the floor of the kitchen.

“I'm sorry Ed. Maybe the cookies weren't meant to happen, we still have the flowers.” Emira said, sitting next to her twin and patting him on the shoulder. 

“But I really wanted to give Y/n something before I asked him. He deserves more than just flowers.” Edric put his hand in his hand.

Everything was quiet for a moment until Amity let out a noise as if she had an idea. She slowly walked over to the tray filled with melting cookie mix and picked it up.

“What are you doing Mittens?” Emira asked 

Without answering Amity walked over to the freezer and put the tray in. 

“If I'm right, you may still have something to give Y/n,” Amity said 

“What do you mean Mittens, you saw them, there is no fixing that” Edric felt like crying, of course, it has to be him who always fails to get dates because HE can't do anything right. First with that poem now this. Everything is a disaster. 

“Just go get ready and Emira and I will handle it”

“But i don't have anything-”

“Ed, trust us ok?” Amity cut him off

Edric nodded his head and made his way to his room to get ready.

After he got ready, mainly just taking a shower and making his concealment stone make him look how he wanted,, he heard Emira call him down,

“Edric! It's almost time to ask Y/n come on down!” Emira yelled

He walked down the stairs and into the kitchen where Emira and Amity were. 

“Guys, I don't know if I can do this anymore. I don't have a good gift, and-” Edric was cut off by Emira sticking something sweet in his mouth.

“You were saying” Emira asks i smile on her face

“I was saying-'' Edric tried to continue but the taste of whatever was in his mouth tasted delicious.``What was that?” He asked

“Our “Cookie” mix disaster” Amity said handing him another one

“What?! These can't be them, they don't even look like cookies and they definitely do aren’t melted like last time.” Edric wasn't believing it

‘Yeah, I definitely wouldn't call them “cookies” now,  it's more of a taffy or fudge now.” Amity says, handing a piece to Emira. 

“But how?-” He was cut off again.

“After I figured out that the mix clearly wasn't gonna bake, I decided to put them in the freezer to see if it would solidify” Amity explained 

“And if you look at them, I'd say she did a pretty good job, right Ed?” She cracked a smile

Edric ran up to his sisters and hugged them tight while saying more “thank you” than anyone could count.

“OK Ed, enough hugging, you'll be late for you to meet up with Y/n, Luz says she's almost out of ideas to keep him occupied,” Amity said with a slight laugh. ”We can take my staff and I can drop you off”

They then quickly put the Disaster “cookie” mix candy in a pretty thermos container (Also bought by Emira) to keep it cold and put the bouquet of flowers in Edric's bag and made their way to Y/n.

When they got there they saw Luz and Y/n hanging out on a bench by the park. Just seeing Y/n made Edric’s body hot, and he realized what kind of situation he's actually in. He is about to confess to his crush, with flowers and food. It's pretty cheesy when he actually thinks about it. 

But is he ready to do this? Some part of him thinks it may be a dream ‘This couldn't be happening, This CAN’T be happening’ he thought but he remembers everything everyone’s done for him just to have him do this. He wants to do this, he will do this. He can't keep hiding his feelings. 

After a few moments, they land and they walk over to where Luz and Y/n are sitting.

“Amity And E-Edric what a completely unexpected pair that I totally didn't know was coming! It's good to see you haha! Luz tries (and fails) to fake surprise. She then runs up to Amity and gives her a hug. “Hey Hermosa!” Edric walks over and sits next to Y/n

“Hey Edric, what are you and Amity doing here so late?” Y/n asks looking into Edric's eyes

“I umm-” he clears his throat ”-I could ask you the same Y/n” He replied giving a smile, Y/n laughs.

“Well uh, I actually don’t know,” Y/n rubbed the back of his head “Luz told me she ‘had something cool she wanted me to see’ but right after she kept telling me ‘But wait! I know an even more interesting thing’ and it just kinda went for a while hehe” Y/n explained

‘What a way to keep someone distracted’ Edric thought

“But if you want to know all the interesting things we saw, ask Luz 'cause there were way too many for me to keep track of, she should be talking to Amity over-” When Y/n went to point he saw… well nothing. Except for 2 people flying away on a staff.

“Talk to you later Y/n! Eda wants me to be back at the owl house so Amity is taking me home, byyyye!!” Luz shouts while waving bye in their direction.

“Looks like they ditched us,” Y/n laughed “but it's fine, it's getting pretty late is it?” Y/n Looked up at the sky, looking at the dim red of the evening.

“I could  walk you home if you want?” Edric asked hoping he’d say yes

“I’d love that,” Y/n smiled

Edric thought for a moment, if he didn't do it now he might not be able to on the way to y/n’s house. 

“Before we go… You wanna talk a bit?” Edric asks, trying not to sound too desperate.

“Course’ Ed, you know I like talking to you” Y/n laughed

Slowly but surely Edric began to build his confidence to ask him until finally he tried to blurt something out but was cut off.

“So about Grom, that's tomorrow, isn't it? Y/n asked, Edric only nodded “I completely forgot about it” Y/n laughed

“Are… Are you going? Edric asked 

“Hmm, I don't know,  I don't have anyone to go with, no one asked me yet.” Y/n replied his eyes looking up at the dimming sky, “I might not even go, considering I don't have a date,”

“If you had a... date, would you? Edric asked another question while slowly shuffling around.

“Yeah, but it'd have to be someone I truly care for and love,” Y/n said smiley, he then looked away from the sky and turned to look at Edric, “What about you Ed-” Y/n stopped seeing the sight in front of him, 

Edric Blight, on one knee, holding a box of candies and flowers in each hand, looking up at him,

“Y/n.. Will you please go to Grom with me? I've liked you a lot ever since I met you and I've been afraid of telling you how I feel, in fear that you’d hate me or something. But I'm asking you now.” Edric confesses

“Ed, I…” Y/n paused, shock written over his face. Edric began fearing the worst the longer Y/n took to answer. 

“You don't have to if you don't want to… We can just forget this ever happened-” Edric was cut off when Y/n bent down and gave him a kiss on the cheek, a warm blush covering his face.

“I would love to Edric,” Y/n finally gave his answer, 

“Really?!” Edric shot up, almost spilling the candy.

“Yes Ed, I want to go with you” Y/n laughed taking the candy and flowers from Edric before grabbing his hand to hold. “You want to walk me back Ed?

“Of course!” Edric replied swiftly

As they were walking, hand in hand, Y/n took a piece of candy out of the box and tried one

“Wow! These are amazing Edric! I've never had these before, How’d you make them?” Y/n said his eyes lighting up.

 Edric laughed, “It's a long story..”

Edric asked you out with a little help from viney and emira.Since they both saw how you and edric liked each other sometimes emira teasing edric of his crush on you.

Edric loves giving you hugs and forehead kisses whenever you want some love from him or when he surprises you with them.Sometimes he gives you small gifts mostly of jewelry and clothing.

Couple outfits and pictures with him as edric likes matching with you.For pictures he takes them so later you can see them with him while cuddling.

Since you’re in the healing track edric always says something cheesy like ‘’y/n i’m no organ donor but i’ll be happy to give you my heart’’

When it came to grom you and him went together as you were there with him and emria,amity trying to teach luz how to defeat grom.Just to make sure no one got hurt and if they did you could heal them.

Edric and you matched when it came to your dress and his tux.He gave you flowers before coming to grom he wanted to make a good first impression on your parents since it was the first time meeting them.

You dyed your hair to match edric’s since it was his idea saying ‘’y/n if you wanna dye your hair you could try dying it to match mine’’

You only did highlights which edric helped you do since it was your first time dying your hair.It was fun since edric brought some snacks for you and him and the green hair dye.

Study dates are something you do when both you and edric have to study for your track.You and edric study but then edric gets bored and tries to distract you which works sometimes other times it doesn’t.Which edric acts all pouty causes you to try to earn his forgiveness with hugs since he really likes your hugs.

He does forgive you when you do win but to edric it’s a win-win situation.As he gets hugs from you and you get hugs from him maybe one or two kisses too.

He leaves cute notes in your books or notebooks which you find during class.After he returns it to you in the morning before school starts.

If you like reading he’ll try reading the same book that you’re reading so he can highlight lines that remind him of you and things he wants to do with you.As he gives you the book to you leaving you blushing after finding his notes.

Hello! Could you do an Emira blight x female human reader where the reader is having a bad panic attack about past trauma/abuse and Emira is trying to calm the reader down?

tw: depictions of panic attacks. mentions of child abuse

A/n: I listened to Rises the Moon while writing this. Also, the trauma is from abusive parents. Also also, this is in the future. This is pretty gender-neutral.

The day started normal enough for a weekend. Wake up and chill. You had run away to your girlfriend's house months ago and it was the best choice ever. Your excuses for 'parents' never looked for you and you preferred it that way. You heard footsteps and changed your focus to the source. "Hey, honey! I'm going out for a bit. I'll be back later." Emira said. "Okay love you!" Emira walked over and kissed your forehead. "Love you." 

You continued to watch TV. Suddenly your crow started chirping. You waited and you didn't recognize the sting of numbers it squawked out. you decided to only answer if they called back or if they texted. Almost immediately your scroll buzzed. You opened it to see it was from the same number. You checked it to see what they wanted.

"Y/n l/n answer you crow. Now." That was what the message said. Okay never mind you are not answering this. Both the fact that they knew your full name and were being aggressive about you answering their call was enough to set off about 50 red flags. So your first thought was to call the police. But who would you even tell them to go after?

The crow started squawking again. You groan and went to the bathroom. Before dealing with any of what was happening out there you needed to refresh yourself. You went into the shower to clear your mind. You turned the water on. It was a nice feeling as it ran over your body. Once you got out you dried off and put your clothes on.

You entered the living room only to hear the same Titan damn squawking. You inhaled and picked it up. What's the worst that could happen, a lot actually, and you knew that. But you do have a very good defense squad. 

You picked up. "Hey who is this-" "Where are you!?" Your stomach dropped through the floor and you're pretty sure you stopped breathing. You heard your mom's voice on the other end. "Why now?" You weren't asking her, it was your thoughts coming out without your permission. "Because no matter how hard we looked, we could find you! Please come home, we're worried." You sallowed hard. You still had fear left from just hearing her voice. But you also had a lot of pent-up anger and were safer now. So you took your chances. "What the hell do you mean you're worried!? You never cared about me. Ever. But now that I finally had enough and left, that's when you care?"

"This is why you need to come back. Where ever you ran off to corrupt your mind-" "Hey Y/n I  got you something from the store!" Emira yelled, having possibly the worst timing known to man. "Was that Emira Blight? Is that-" You hung up and dropped your crow. You gripped at your arms harshly. "Fuck she knows..." The world felt still. You wanted to scream. Not at anyone, just to let all the fear out. But your throat closed. You felt the need to run. Where to? Who knows. But the adrenaline shot through your legs and panic took over all senses. If your mom knew where you were you only need to do one thing: get out.

Right as you took off your exit was blocked by abomination slime. You ended up falling over. Shit. While on a logical scale, there was no way your mom could get here that fast. Not to mention the act of getting in the building is its own battle you weren't thinking logically. All you knew was something was blocking your exit and now you were hurt.

How couldn't you think it wasn't your mother?

Emira approached you cautiously, but with the state you were in no wonder her being careful didn't help. "I'm sorry" you suddenly yelled. "Huh?" Emira was stricken by shock. "Just please don't hurt me." You stammered out. She crouched down. "Pay attention to my breathing." That task was easier said than done. You tried to pay attention, you knew who she was, but that didn't stop the loudness of your mind yelling at you to run.

You calmed your breathing slightly. "Can you tell me five things you can see?" "O-okay? Um... you, the-the wall, the TV, the cou-couch, the table and..." You looked down, "Me." "Okay, four things you can feel." You looked to the side. "The abomination wall, my clothes, sweat, your hand, and um the floor? Why are we doing this?" "It's a grounding exercise. To bring you back to the present. And it's the present, your mom isn't here." She paused, "and never will be." As much as her being her brought you comfort, you can't lie and say you believed her. Before you could question her she spoke again.

"We have a strict no abusive mothers protocol, It's not impact because of your mom but it can be enacted on her." "What is the 'no abusive mothers protocol'" "It involves threatening. If they don't leave our friends show up and beat them up. If she somehow gets to you, she'll meet a fate worse than death!" Despite the grim subject matter her happy tone never wavered. "O...kay" She suddenly embraced you in a hug, "Trust me y/n, your safe here. I'll make sure of it"

If anyone starts bullying you or even makes fun of you they'll be the target of edric's pranks.With the help of emria since she cares about you too.

Which you notice after not being bullied by that person and find them in one of edric's and emira's pranks.It made your day seeing that as edric got you your favorite candy after school as a treat.

If edric is hurt he goes to you and you only.As edric doesn't go to anyone else unless he's forced by emira and amity.

"Edric what was it this time?"you said while putting a healing bandaid on edric's arm.He came to you with a big cut in his arm.

"What?I can't ask my girlfriend for a small kiss.I see how it is now y/n."edric said pouty a bit turning away from you

"Ugh fine come here edric."you said before gently pulling edric closer to you and quickly kissed the bandage."Are you happy now??"seeing edric grin from it

"Yep so happy now thanks y/n you're amazing."he said before bringing you into a hug

After finding out that you help amity at the library during your free time and take care of the children who go there.Edric's heart melted a bit from hearing that.

It was a thing you did if the library didn't have any new books or you couldn't find any of your interests.You were there to help amity and in case any of the kids got hurt for some reason which you'll heal them.

Edric would bring you and amity lunch and would talk to you about your day.He would put a small note in your lunch with a doodle "Don't work too hard y/n I made your favorite with some help-✴edric✴"

Edric would even stay and help you if he has the time.The kids love him immediately since edric does allusions for them and does some during story time that go with the story.

When the parents come to pick them up and their kid is saying how much fun they have adding you and edric too."Yeah edric and y/n are the best mom they're helping miss amity out now" which their parents smile and even compliment you and edric since their kid really likes it whenever you two are there.

"I'd like to say thank you for taking care of my kid they really like coming here now.Keep up the great work I'm sure in the future you two are going to be great parents."they said before saying goodbye and walked away

Both you and edric were so happy to hear this and were a bit flustered at the last part.But you and edric have thought about it before while talking about the future.
