I ended up reopening my shop if anyone is interested.

Was revisiting an OLD painting I made.

I remember going into Pearl Paint on Canal St. and getting this canvas on sale. At the time I was just learning about myself as an artist and just MAKING. Buying canvases with absolutely no plan for them. And then I sat down one day and made a painting on the round canvas I had purchased on sale and back then I was so proud of it. Young Liz being so excited that I had found a thing that made my heart stop hurting.

Idk what possessed me to repaint it, but I did. Maybe I was tired of seeing it on the wall, maybe I’m about to change my identity again so I’m breaking ties with the old me, idk.

But It felt good painting tonight.
