PlanetESL offers three types of advertising for our clients and partners:
Main Page Banner Advertisements:Clients and partners can place banner ads along the top of our main page (400×50) or along the right side of the main page (140×100). Ads rotate on a regular basis giving all ads equal view time.
“Hot Jobs” Postings:Client employers can place position advertisements in our “Hot Jobs” section. A banner ad (100×140) will appear on our main page with the employer’s logo and title caption, and clicking the ad will take the viewer to the “Hot Job” description page which will contain important information about the position. Viewers can apply directly for the position from this page.“Hot Jobs” postings will also appear on our Job Center main page above our regular job postings. Clicking on any particular “Hot Job” will also take the view to the “Hot Job” description page from which the viewer can apply directly for the position.
Advertising Directly to Our Database of Universities and TEFL/TESOL Schools Worldwide:PlanetESL will forward employer positions directly to our database of hundreds of universities, colleges and TEFL/TESOL schools worldwide. These institutions post these positions on their job websites and in their career centers, print them in their monthly newsletters that go out to students and alumni, and pass them on directly to students and teachers in their classes. This option is extremely effective in recruiting highly qualified candidates.

congrats on making it through grad school twice! understand if you’d rather keep it vague, but what did you study?
I got an M.Ed which is essentially a teaching degree & required for teachers (within the first 5 years of teaching I believe in Massachusetts?) and I got my Masters in English with a certificate in Digital Humanities!!

poets as summer jobs I did since I was 11
inspirated by @73647e
Pitts - walking the dogs of the neighbours, little pay but definetly the most enjoyable of all works, because who doesn’t love puppies
Todd - working in an ice cream shop, got panic attacks sometimes because of too many people, but at least good pay
Charlie - some bar, didn’t really care about the job, it was just something to do durring summer
Cameron - teaching younger kids (probably maths or chemistry) pretty enjoyed it but annoying sometimes lmao
Knox - working in a gift shop by the sea, so he got job and holidays in one (also could watch pretty guys and girls)
Meeks - another gift shop but this time at the museum, not to much people, good free coffee and could give random facts for customers 10/10
Neil - babysitting! he actually loved this job, he’s very good with kids, and the kids love him <3

sometimes i think about how so many people have decided to base their entire personalities around their teenage years and it’s honestly so tiring at this point. “i don’t read the classics because high school english class traumatized me by forcing me to read books that i couldn’t understand” there are so many issues with the education system, but saying that it was traumatizing for you so you decided to swear off anything even remotely difficult to engage with and only settle for things that provide easy to digest entertainment in the name of “healing” when you’re in your 20s........you’ve got bigger problems that you need to address.

Dr. L. (head of Tutorial Services, teaches English and Latin, has an office right off the children's section in the library) called me in to his office as I walked by, specifically to ask my opinion of the School of Languages and Literature becoming Humanities and Leadership. He hates it too and apparently wanted to hear someone else say it. I am amused.

Play for Today: Bavarian Night (BBC, 1981)
"These bloody middle class parents, ooh, they do get up my nose! You can work yourself blue in the face for them, go out of your way to accommodate them, but it's no use! They're just out to carve and criticise and try to make a fool out of you! Oh, I felt like - I'm ashamed to tell you what I felt like."
"Giving her a good hiding?"
"Yes, somebody should have done, I don't mind saying so! Oh, they make me sick! Always had their own way, always had the best of everything; she should have been brought up in our house, my dad would've had her sorted! I'm sorry, Estelle, this isn't like me, I know. Well, that's my evening spoilt for a start!"
"But what about the sausages?"
