TickleTober Day 7: Footsteps

~A/N - Our first TickleTober reader fic! Very much feeling creative and symbolic (not quite the right word I want but I'm going with it) for this fic! Thor is the main man for this one, with someone else joining the fray towards the end ;).

When you hide from Thor, you don't listen for his footsteps.

You feel them.

They make the ground vibrate, the rumbling sensations shaking your legs more than the nerves already pulsing through them.

thud, thud, thud, thud

The telltale one-two pattern of thumping feet let you know your target was approaching. You crouched behind the table, waiting for the perfect moment to-

-STRIKE! You leapt up and jabbed two fingers into Thor's sides, making the god jerk away like a startled rabbit.

"Oh hoh you'll pay for that!" Thor boomed, chuckling as the two of set off in a sprint.

Left, right, left, right. The constant beat of your shoes hitting the floor kept pace with your heart. Footstep, three beats, footstep, three beats, footstep, three beats.

Once you could no longer sense Thor behind you, you ducked into a meeting room. Hiding under the desk, covered by chairs, you were perfectly positioned to watch the thunder god run past.

It took a few moments, but surely enough you heard that characteristic thunderous boom of his feet, and shortly watched his ankles stroll past the doorway of your hiding spot. Perfect!

Waiting for enough time to pass so you could be certain he was gone, you slowly peered into the hallway. Satisfied you were alone, you took off sprinting the other direction.

You didn't have long to enjoy the empty echo of your stride, for another set of steps had joined behind you.

He was back.

Thankfully, it didn't seem like he had noticed where exactly you were. The compound had enough corners to fool any immortal, and that's exactly what you were relying on.

You jumped into the central TV room, crouching in a small hidden corner next to the bookshelves. It should be completely invisible from where Thor would cross the doorway. You perked your ears, listening intently for your pursuer.

What you heard was far from what you expected.

There was no longer just Thor's iconic stampede of footfalls, there was a second much lighter pair.

Crap. He wasn't alone anymore...

And that second pair of footsteps seemed to be moving past the doorway that Thor was now stopped in. Almost completely blocking it.

Did he know you were in here?

You were so wrapped up in thought, you didn't register those light steps coming behind you. Walking through the doorway that was in complete sight of your near perfect hiding spot.

Unlucky.

"Gotcha." Loki smirked, grabbing you by the waist and pulling you against him as he fell to the ground. You wrestled for a moment, trying to squirm and toss your body out of his clutches. Thor's mighty grip clamped onto your wrists while you fought for your life and dignity.

Soon, the floor rumbled once again each time your feet hit the boards beneath you, but not from running. The kicking, accompanied by helpless laughter, was your fruitless attempts to lessen the unbearable feelings of two gods tickling the crap out of you.

~A/N - I was tempted to end it there cause I really liked that ending paragraph. Kinda ties the whole thing together. But I know what y'all are like you're here for some god damn TICKLES so here you go you little giggle nerds, enjoy self-inserting yourself into Thor and Loki wrecking you ;) ~

Thor had your arms in a rock solid clamp above your head, giving Loki's nimble fingers complete free reign over your armpits.

"Now, I'm not exactly clear on why I'm doing this Y/N." Loki asked with a smirk, spidering over your ribs as he went. "Care to fill me in?"

You shook your head violently, mouth stretched out in tickly glee. You couldn't speak if you tried, the sensations were just too much.

"Come on, young one." Thor grinned. "Apologise for attacking me and we'll be even."

"NEHEHEHEHEVER!" You squealed.

Taking initiative, Thor took one of his hands that was pinning your arms. Forming a claw shape, he dug his fingers into your stomach and vibrated it against your skin. It was absolute torture, torture that you weren't prepared for.

"NONONONO OHKAHAHAHAY!"

"Okay?" Thor said bemusedly.

"IHIHIHI'M SOHOHORRY!"

The pair grinned at each other, both retracting their hands and sitting next to you.

"There's always something with you." Loki chuckled. "We get somewhere with your mortal pranks, and you come straight back at us with something else."

You grinned, still catching your breath. He was absolutely right, and you weren't planning on changing any time soon.

Always one step forward, two steps back. Even when you're running away from your two favourite tickle monsters.

Thirty One Days of Horror Movies! Day Fifteen :D

Theatre of Blood! :D

When a group of theatre critics begin dying in strange and ghoulish ways that replicate deaths from Shakespeare’s famous plays, they realise that they are being targeted by vengeful actor Edward Lionheart (Vincent Price) who is out to silence those who criticised his acting...PERMANENTLY

I love this movie. As you might guess from the deliberately absurd premise the movie does a great job of mixing in some black comedy into its horror plot. The plot is an enjoyably inventive and macabre one and the way each critic is dispatched has a wonderfully morbid inventiveness to it.

The script and acting are solid enjoyable horror fun but the real standout star here is none other than the late great Vincent Price himself. An amazing actor and from all I’ve heard a truly wonderful human being in general, this horror icon delivers what I think is his greatest performance here...he’s clearly having the time of his life playing this larger than life villain and the movie is a great showcase for Price’s skill as an actor here.

Cool fact! One of the reasons Price particularly loved this role is because he had always wanted to perform Shakespeare himself...so he had a great time getting to play various Shakespearan characters and deliver lines straight from Shakespeare’s plays here in character.

Funny, bloody, and wickedly fun I definitely recommend enoying a performance of the Theatre of Blood this Halloween

Though if you don’t like it, maybe don’t let the movies villain here you say that. He does NOT take criticism well... >.>
