Hi op, I saw that you enjoy dunking on Koyama so here's more about this loser:

Presumably he has been following Ritsu from school, but fails to see the floating neon green snot who was literally right next to his target. Furthermore, Dimple possessing, unpossessing Ritsu, and then fleeing away in the alleyway also escaped his notice. Incredible.

Sakurai wasn't concerned about hiding his face at the Awakening Lab, but Koyama was worried about the general public + a bunch of kids seeing his, hence the hood. Implying that the facial scar is not the problem, but rather his entire face. My headcanon is that he's on a wanted list by the police for non-Claw crimes lol. I'm sure that other Scars have committed crimes before, but he's the only one who got caught or something. How embarrassing for him.

i do enjoy dunking on him, though i haven't done that much here... primarily because ???% / shigeo / mob kageyama lives in my head rent-free.

my thoughts, if you'll allow:

i'd like to think koyama is both simple-minded and single-minded. again, if all he had to go on was that picture of ritsu labeled with shigeo's name, i doubt that would have caught his eye. it's implied that being able to see spirits is just part of the ESP package in the MP100 universe, so a kid being trailed by a spirit might not have been that strange to him. children can often see things adults can't or won't.

Huh Etho’s changing a lot in his videos this season. The freecam, the voiceovers, actually doing his base’s exterior and his storage system FIRST, the statues, the frogs, inviting someone for a tour to stimulate conversation, whatever the hell is going on with him and Joel, the goat horns, doing redstone for others basically for free (Mail + Scar’s Storage System), and probably more that I’m missing.
