Coming back for a sec to mention it here too but while i had so much fun with u guys earlier, from the bottom of my heart i wish enstars would slow down. Im here cuz i genuinely liked the story. I dont need gimmicks or even 2 new songs with mvs and costume a month, i genuinely wish we'd abandon the rotation and expectations that !! set, and focus on a contained cohesive story that adds to the foundation rather than trying to expand and cover as many things as possible so fast. Not gonna lie when I first read this ask I misread and thought you wanted a darling who designed OUTFITS because I was kinda tired, but upon rereading I quickly became very excited because I’ve actually designed characters for a school play before!!! This was fun to write, thanks for the request!

Yandere Valkyrie x reader who designs characters

He’s really curious! He thinks what you do is super interesting!

Now I think both Shu and Mika would help design characters with you (specifically the outfits), but the kinds of designs they do well with are likely fairly different even with some overlap because of how long they’ve worked together and grown with each other. Mika probably does better with brighter, contrasting colors- his fs1 and 2, both of which I think he designed himself (though I could be wrong about his fs2, I know for a fact he made his fs1) he makes use of bright color combinations that Shu tends not to (though you can correct me if i’m wrong) like the orange/teal combo on his fs1 and the purple/teal combo on his fs2, though admittedly it’s less noticeable there because they’re more evenly blended together. His fs2 also has plenty of brightly colored accessories, like the paperclips, gems and gummy bears. Overall, he seems really good at designing things with lots of colors/patterns that usually come off as strange to most people.

Moving on from the impromptu short outfit analysis, he’s gonna try to use this somewhat shared hobby of yours to try and get closer- what do you expect. He’ll ask a lot of questions about what your thought process was, and probably start incorporating any kind of advice or methods from you into his work.

It’s been mentioned in the enstars stories that Mika likes horror, so he’ll be particularly excited if you usually design horror characters, maybe even a couple of monster designs, and he might even try to help out- both to improve his skill in designing and to spend time with you.

He already would’ve asked for your input whenever he was designing outfits even if you didn’t do character design, because he asks for your input on almost everything he does (almost like an uncannily clingy puppy), but since you DO like costume/character design, he asks for your opinion twice the amount he would’ve- good luck honestly, I think I’d go crazy.

Takes everything you say about his designs to heart and works your advice into the outfit he’s working on to the absolute best of his ability even if it was just an offhanded comment without a lot of thought put into it.

You’re his darling! His inspiration! Of course he takes your opinions seriously!

Design something specifically for him and he’s absolutely over the moon- his darling designed something for him!

Hope you know how to take a compliment… or a tsunami of them.

Goes over every detail in it at least 5 times and probably puts it in a shrine somewhere- and yes I do think he’s the type to keep a shrine of his darling.

Definitely makes a couple of designs for you, and makes a few into actual outfits when he has the time, adding whatever accessories were part of the original sketch as well

His designs tend to be a sort of fusion between yours and his aesthetics- teal butterflies and ragged teddy bears intertwined with whatever you like.

He might try making matching outfits or accessories for you and him! He thinks it makes you two look like a couple, even though you aren’t dating yet.

I don’t think Mika currently makes characters in canon, just outfits, but he’ll probably start coming up with a few so he has more stuff to talk about with you and bond over.

Please, please him for his work! It would mean the world to him! He just wants your attention…

He probably also thinks what you do is interesting, but obsesses over it to a lesser degree than Mika.

He’ll definitely do better helping with any fantasy/royal/generally fancy designs. He uses lots of a red-ish maroon-ish color in the Valkyrie stage outfits and his winter/fall casual outfit, and a general red in his fs1, so it seems like he’s more comfortable using shades of red in outfits. There are also a decent amount of intricate details in what I assume are the stage outfits for Valkyrie, for example the Acanthe outfit alone looks like it would’ve been hell to make (though I don’t have any experience with making outfits right now, check back in a couple years and I’ll probably be able to confirm) due to all the lace and frilly wavy details- I don’t know how he keeps his sanity together at all honestly. Of course, he also does well with steampunk aesthetics, as seen in, once again, the Valkyrie stage outfits as well as the steampunk outfits for Valkyrie that you can buy in game.

Anyway, he’ll ask if he can make some of the outfits you came up with, and if you let him, he’ll spare no effort making sure it’s perfect. After all, it’s for his beloved muse!

I’m sorry if you really hate standing around and being examined for long periods of time, because you’re gonna have to do a LOT of modeling for it- there’s gonna be a lot of adjustments to how it fits you so hopefully you can entertain yourself without losing your mind.

I also hope you don’t have much planned for a while during this process, because he won’t let you leave while he’s working on the outfit and having you model it. Say goodbye to the plans you made with your friends, because Shu expects you to stay with him throughout the whole process of sewing your design, and he isn't willing to let you say no.

That aside, he definitely knows a lot about clothes and fabrics, so he’s really useful for pointing that kind of stuff out. Also since he’s gonna end up making a few of your designs, you’ll be able to take a picture of yourself for reference in whatever pose you’re trying to draw the character in! That’s a pretty good deal if I say so! (then again I’m also terrible at imagining how clothes fold so I might be a little biased)

He’ll also offer plenty of constructive criticism, and it’s nice to have an honest, structured opinion of your work rather than nothing at all, even if he does tend to be a little harsh about it. After all, it is Shu, even if he is obsessed with you- don't expect him to do a full 180 in his treatment of you.

Will probably end up flipping through your sketchbook for inspiration to use in his designs, whether you give him permission or not. He just has to know what aesthetics appeal to you, what colors you prefer, your favorite types of clothing… then a while later he gives you an outfit totally tailored to your tastes and while he talks about his thought process while making it, you have to wonder how he figured out so many of your preferences. oh well, he’s always been observant. Maybe you just mentioned most of it offhandedly at one point at one point and just didn't remember..

Not personal to previous ask anon, you and others do you, but it does make me kinda weirded out to use female pronouns for all Enstars characters. And it feels like a major disservice to Arashi. Generally people are making sure she's seen as she wants to be seen. So why undermine it?

And I don't think it's helping much characters like Shu and Izumi who are more fluid or not very hung up on gender either. Izumi specifically said in Next Door that he doesn't care about gender, unlike Arashi for whom it's an important matter. The point being, it could be fine when it comes to them but when it's used for everybody, it doesn't matter anymore that there *are* these characters who challenge the binary.

And then there's someone like Natsume who dislikes getting reminded how he was dressed/brought up as girl as a kid. So, it feels hurtful.

Plus characters like Tori and Hajime who are cute and dress up girly sometimes. It's a big thing for Hajime who had been troubled by how he's been presented as girly but then makes peace with it later and even embraces it. And Tori doesn't have any problem dressing in feminine clothes (in White Brim Tsukasa is sooo against dressing in a maid uniform but Tori immediately says it's cute so he'll do it) or playing a heroine in a movie but he doesn't want to be a girl. Clothes are just clothes, no matter who they were meant for, and I think that's an important view too.

Wataru of course often crossdresses, mostly for theater and I personally like him in dresses a lot (please bring his Juliet costume to Music, thank you), but he isn't actually very feminine character when he's himself.

Maybe I'm too serious, I know some people say they do it just for fun but... what's the fun? I don't mean genderbending isn't fun, but this is such an odd phenomenon.

Let's Discuss: Broccoli's new app

So if you haven't heard then allow me to give you the skinny

This is an article that was posted a few days ago and it was about a "Game App" that Broccoli was working on...yes you heard that part right because this one ISN'T under the control (to the best we know) of KLab whom currently still runs the JP server for Shining Live. Now what is fascinating about this is we have only the one screenshot in the post (which is also on Broccoli's Press Release) with STARISH standing on a stage. I THINK (and I could be wrong) but I think these costumes come out of "Maji Love 2000%" which is INTERESTING if you know anything about "Start Dates" for the Anime seasons See the Date for "Maji Love 2000%" was April 8th of 2013 and this image was posted on April 14th of 2023...yes friends this is literally around the 10th Anniversary of that season! I find it fascinating that they are actively doing a callback to that season in their own way but then again when you also think about the fact that they are also going to be incorporation "Raging Entertainment" now its gonna be a lot of fun! Yes kids...HEAVENS makes their official game debut! Now we have to ask some questions 1. Visual Novel or Rhythm game? If you ask me I think this will be another Rhythm Game BUT I think they will take the approach that Happy Elements does when it comes to EnStars in that they are going to do long chapters with segments voice acted per usual. I also think however that the story will actually lead to something (The UtaPri Awards Showdown. SSS ,or maybe a new contest) so that the game doesn't feel "Aimless" which was a big criticism of mine 2. How would songs unlock? If this is a Rhythm game I think we are going to see more of the Happy Elements approach in that songs will be unlocked after events and that there maybe be other ways too (like the equivalent of a "Live Fes" from EnStars). so there is that also. 3. If It's not a Rhythm Game at first could we see "Idol Training game"? Oh sure! Like since we have Shining and Raging Entertainment its not out of the possibility to see that happen. Like literally in EnStars (Basic and Music) there is "Yumenosaki Academy" and "Reimei" so if we go the route of a game like "ES Basic"...sign me up! If you notice that I am using the "Happy Elements" approach its because of the fact that they OWN their games so they don't have to ask for permission to get songs from someone. I think that might have been a problem for Shining Live a little bit because KLab never owned the content for it. I imagine having to ask for permission a lot is quite the tab Now the big thing is this When does it release? We just really heard about this a few days ago so I suspect that we'll not hear about it again (at least in terms of a title) in June when the 13th Anniversary happens. At that time (if we do hear about it then) I suspect the name and game format to be explained and (POSSIBLY) the "Sunset" of SL for the JP server. I only say "Possible" because it still has a lot of players but again this is all speculation on my part. If you ask me about Dolce Vita...I still think that game could be announced also but then Broccoli would have to think about this: If you announce Dolce Vita that HAS to be the only game announcement for the year. You CAN announce the name of the new Game App but I wouldn't announce a release date because people might be more interested in Dolce Vita honestly. I also think that if they do announce that this new game is a Rhythm game and people don't get a proper update on Dolce Vita then there is gonna be a problem. We know about the "BackPri" issue and how that didn't go well with people so I could see that being a real PR issue if something isn't said about DV Anywho fam that is all I have for right now but I am curious to what you think about this because I am really hyped no matter WHAT it turns out to be...not gonna lie I'll be happy as hell if we get a new rhythm game but sad if that means getting rid of Shining Live altogether. That I should model, ‘cause I’m the most cute and most beautiful. They said that everyone should tell me how cute and adorable I am, and that I deserve to be loved.

I hate the modeling staff ‘cause they’re always getting angry at me, unlike Papa and Mama.

But Yuu-kun, only Yuukun, was always kind and cute.

I got to see him around during work a lot… I’d wonder about him ‘cause he was always alone.

He’d answer me when I spoke to him. He wouldn’t say much, but he’d do his best to reply every time I talked to him…

I had started modeling earlier and was his senior, so I taught him a lot of things he didn’t know.

Izumi: And that would make him happy. Yuu-kun looks really cute when he smiles.

I wanted to see more of that smile, so I’d always be looking for him. And when I’d find him, I’d talk to him lots and give him my candy I couldn’t finish—

And that alone would make him so very happy.

Yuu-kun’s a good boy. The goodest boy in the world. He always makes me feel happy.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while; I've been busy and had no inspiration 🥲 Anyways, this account is basically Valk omo not enstars omo rn so I wrote a fic with Eve. This time both of them are desperate because I thought it would be a fun dynamic. Hope you like it <3 (sorry if they're a little ooc, this is basically my first time writing non-Valk characters)

Jun and Hiyori were on their way back from a live but a road accident had made traffic come to a crawl on what was already a relatively long drive. The two sat in the back of a cab, talking to pass the time as the car barely crept forward. Hiyori was complaining about the traffic, which wasn't a surprise, although he was definitely acting more agitated than his usual lighthearted self. He moaned on about how slow they were moving and how he wanted to get home, seeming really impatient with his body language. His foot constantly tapped the floor and he wouldn't sit still for even a minute straight. Jun wasn't paying full attention to him, mostly just nodding along, as there was something else occupying his mind. He needed to pee, badly. He had felt a slight urge while they were leaving the venue but didn't want to seem childish by asking Hiyori if they could stop by a restroom, figuring he could hold it fine until they retured. Of course, now he deeply regretted making that decision. They were nowhere near their destination and the traffic was only slowing down if anything; unlike the traffic however, his aching bladder showed no signs of stopping its pleas for relief. He pressed his thighs together to try easing the pain but it hardly did anything.

"Jun-kun," Hiyori called suddenly, snapping him out of his thoughts. His voice sounded troubled.

"What?"

Jun glanced over at Hiyori who had his legs not so covertly crossed.

"I need to pee," he admitted bluntly, seemingly unembarrassed by it; although, his cheeks were slightly tinted red.

Seeing someone else desperate didn't help Jun's own case, but it did reassure him a little to know that he wasn't alone in this. He didn't know what to say though.

"Uh, are you okay?" he asked awkwardly.

"Very obviously not!" Hiyori snapped. "I'm gonna piss myself!"

Jun chuckled. "Ok, calm down, I'm sure you won't piss yourself."

Hiyori's tone shifted to a solemn one.

"Jun, I wasn't joking... I don't know if I can hold it much longer..."

It was always hard to tell whether Hiyori was being melodramatic or not, but it was clear that he wasn't exaggerating this time. He really was worried he might not make it. Jun felt bad for not taking him seriously before.

"Hahh!" Hiyori exclaimed, jamming his hands between his legs.

Jun slid closer to him, concerned. "What's wrong?" he asked.

Hiyori lowered his voice to a quiet whisper. "I-I leaked..."

His eyes were wide as he stared ahead at nothing. He was nearing his limit, and fast. Jun couldn't leave his friend like this. He knew he had to help him somehow. Just then, he remembered that he left a half-finished bottle of soda in the duffel bag they used to carry their stage costumes. While Hiyori looked on with confusion, he opened the bag, pulled out the bottle, and forced himself to chug down the remaining liquid. Each sip felt like torture to his bladder but he managed to drink it all.

"Here," he said, handing the empty bottle to Hiyori.

Hiyori looked hesitant to accept it, but quickly realised he had no other choice. He started uncapping the bottle then stopped halfway through.

"What about the noise- the driver will hear and-"

"Don't worry," Jun cut him off. "He won't say anything, and if he does, he'll have to deal with me."

"Ok," Hiyori breathed.

As discreetly as possible, he started peeing into the bottle. The stream started off weak as he was still nervous, but it quickly picked up once his body got a taste of much needed relief. He steadily filled the bottle until the stream, thankfully, died down right before the top. With shaking hands, he put the cap back on, his breathing still unsteady. He turned his attention back to Jun only to see him him holding himself while hunched over. Hearing Hiyori pee had put him over the edge and he couldn't hide his desperation anymore.

"Jun-kun..." Hiyori began. "Why didn't you say that you needed to pee too? Why did you give the bottle to me when you could've used it?"

Jun was too far gone to answer. He shut his eyes, whimpering quietly as he clutched himself tighter.

"Ohii-san, I'm sorry," he muttered.

Hiyori didn't understand why he was apologising at first, but then he noticed the yellow puddle that was quickly growing underneath him. Jun was wetting himself. The seats were leather so the urine pooled on top rather than getting absorbed, dripping down to the floor. Jun involuntarily burst into tears, which made him feel even more humiliated; not only had he wet himself like a child, but now he was also crying like one. Hiyori waited until his friend was completely done peeing to speak again.

"Hey, don't cry, it's okay," he comforted.

"But what about th-"

"The driver? I'll pay him, and if he says anything, he'll have to deal with me," Hiyori smiled.

Despite his face still being stained with tears, Jun smiled back.

You know the Dramatica enstars circle? The stageplays are irl shows that they do in universe. Here's a thread about the ones so far. There will be a 3rd one that's Alice in Wonderland themed this fall. I havent personally watched the previous ones, but i have read a 60 page summary of Act 2 and seen some clips... they're so much fun. vox would only be a fnaf character. no contest. he wants to live the freddy fazbear-kisser life of his dreams and become the bear. or whatever the purple guy’s name is idk i legit only know fnaf lore through vox bc i never rlly played it

sylvain is a WHORE (affectionate) so he would only do something very showy and flashy. the gimmicky “sexy nurse” type costumes u get on amazon or from spirit halloween. something that costs no more than like $25 and covers no more than only the bits that would get you arrested for public indecency if uncovered

Hello Enstarries~☆ Another day another post. I'm trying to speed up the process. This time, I'm gonna rate our beloved and chivalrous unit Knights. It's one of my favourites for now so I'm excited to talk about them! Btw since it's been already quite a while, I just wanted to remind y'all again, that I only know random bits of infos out of context and their Ep.1 in the new game. Therefore, my opinions are probably very mmdnmmhnhmhmfkdlsisojdöshhfksa y'know?

I'm not a Knights-P.....BUT I'm very close to being one. I'm enamoured with most of their songs. Like, yeah some songs are rather meh but those that hit, hit H A R D.

Mystic Fragrance literally grabbed me by the ankle and dragged me into the hole that is Enstars. The MV? Literally perfect and heavenly. I'm no expert on choreography or film production but everyone and everything was just so damn beautiful, clean, sleek, elegant, I watched that video more than I'd like to admit. And the song itself??? Just 😭👌👌👌👌👌 Ok, this isn't a love letter to 1 song but the group, so I should continue. But just reeaal quick, I also love Little Romance and Knights the Phantom Thief to death.

Now, their costumes and theme. I really like it! It is once again the case of everyone having small differentiations here and there, like their gloves and shoes. Overall, I love the simple but refined design. Especially these "noble vests" tend to be overfilled with patterns, ornaments etc in anime and webtoons but that's not the case here. The medal is a nice touch. And the striped pants add a bit smth more loud to the else quiet design. Everything is just on point for the idea of loyal Knights, that serve us fans.

From what I've seen, their dancing is also refined and chic. And maybe it's just that one song but the flower formation and how the center is switched in the chorus in Mystic Fragrance was just so genius and beautiful! The characters on the other hand....well, I haven't seen too much of them as a group yet compared to other units. So it's harder to make up my mind about them.

8.5/10 - I realized after writing everything, that the music is doing A LOT of work

Tsukasa Suou

We aren't related, so why does he address us as "big sister"? That's like the 2nd time we got adopted as a sibling, no? Well, from what I've seen, he is another heir to an influential family and...reminds me a bit of Riddle (Twisted Wonderland). Very diligent, wants to be mature, so that he won't be underestimated, workaholic. Lowkey seems like a teacher's pet. For some reason, I thought he was more pretentious and the like but he seems relatively normal. Is he half-english or why does he use english sometimes? And like, not the words that naturally wormed their way into the japanese language due to globalisation. Good on the localisation team on HIGHLIGHTING those words in bold btw. They could have just ignored it or changed it to french, the typical approach to such cases, where characters speak english in pieces as a gimmick. But they didn't. It's a bit funny and cringe to hear him say it. But I'm sure he'll get better someday. Practice makes perfect! That's how thing go.

5/10 - not a lot to say about him

Leo Tsukinaga

Uchu~⭐ It's the nth member of the DRAMA club! Ngl, I understood his Ep.1 in the sense of getting what he means to say but having his words fly all over my head. I bet he's really good friends with Wataru. Good for him though! You'll never have to worry about having an awkward silence with him. Probably suffers from waking up and immediately writing his ideas down, that came from his dreams. I remember somewhere, that he really likes the 🌠 S P A C E 🌌 but I'm not too sure about that anymore. Either has some fucked up trauma in his backstory or is just like that. Highly doubt the latter though. People can be terrible and there's no way he wasn't bullied or didn't suffer from high expectations. His voice sounds like gummy bears. Very squishable and colorful and jumpy. Definitely very different to Itaru's (A3!) and Samatoki's (Hypnosis Mic). I also thinks he's very messy but always knows where all his pencils, notebooks etc. are.

6/10 - coffee would drink HIM to get energized

Izumi Sena

On the very fine line of being a tsundere and a complete jerk except he has already fallen of the rope to the latter side but his one (1) foot is on the other side. Ik he's very mean to Arashi but man...I didn't expect him to be this hot n' cold. He's the stereotype of women saying the opposite of what they mean. Maybe I'll warm up to him after I learned his language but he's so needlessly bitchy 🤦‍♀️ Does he have friends? Tori on the other hand looks like an angel, not that he's been so terrible in the first place. Izumi's voice was smth to get used to bc it was so....nasal? It's not bad or anything, I just never heard a voice like that. I h a t e to admit it but he does sing very well and it's understandable, that he's a model 😫 *sigh* He would make the perfect male lead in a romance story. The famous idol, who is the biggest tsundere ever and lowkey highkey toxic and is pretentious but unfortunately has the skills to back it up, falls in love with little ol' normal producer and.... y'know the rest. Totally wears mildly strong expensive cologne, designer clothes and eats 5$ toasts.

2/10 - if I could, I'd throw tomatoes at him every day

Ritsu Sakuma

Sssssllllleeeeepppppyyyyy~~~~~ What a mood™️ And a foodie as well! He must have a very good metabolism and/or work out a lot to maintain such a slim figure, though I guess the latter is to be expected from an idol. He would hate me for this but he does have a similar vibe to his big bro. It's probably the bedroom eyes. And his mysterious? air. Though he does look cuter! His hairstyle reminds me of 🍄 and 🌰. I think he's the most relatable person I've met yet here. You work to live and not the other way around. It's good to be enthusiastic about your job but at the expense of your health makes it toxic. Quite a number of people might need to hear this. He's chill, probably both in personality and body temperature, if he's an actual vampire, he's likely low-maintenance and just seems down to earth. Not that nobody is until now. But Ritsu is kinda just a chill teenage boy. No big dreams or revenge he wishes to enact. I heard he even has some falling out with a friend or smth. Very normal and real. Dude is just living. He has a very soft and pretty voice.

8/10 - i wonder if he has soft cheeks....

Arashi Narukami

Q U E E N 👑 period. I don't wanna throw out empty words but I think she's perfect! She has such a beautiful and melodic voice, it's like a fresh spring breeze. Her "Mou~ 😣" sounds so cute as well! Idk what it is but smth about her violet eyes just go perfectly with her blond and brown hair. Idk man she's just very lovely. Very terrible, that she's not taken seriously by most people, even some of her own unit members bc of her gender orientation. At least, that's what I've heard. I haven't seen anything like that yet. She wishes to have a cuter image but I think she already has the perfect mix of cool & cute. Seems like a very considerate and relatively optimistic person. Her character song is literally 🥰😭💞❤💎👒☀️🍰⚘🎀💍 Has a rather minimalistic chic wardrobe but as I said, it makes her look very cool. Idk nor do I care how tall she is, I can and will give her a bear hug and kiss her forehead and pat her lovingly an-

Conclusion

I you haven't noticed, I ❤ everything about Knights except its members but that's just bc I don't know them very well yet. Except Izumi, he can go eat trash (I'm so sorry Izumi stans). Very very VERY looking forward to new songs to play and to get to know them better. I WILL spend a lot of gems on the Mystic Fragrance event and that's undebatable.
