← back. ᝰ.ᐟ [ 1 ] welcome home.
𝄃𝄃𝄂𝄂𝄀𝄁𝄃𝄂𝄂𝄃 homicipher. mr. crawling. fluff. gn! reader // wc : 527
Tumblr media
bringing mr. crawling home with you was unintentional and a rash decision made at the time. seeing him stare at you with a smile, not knowing that once you stepped through those elevator doors both of you would never see each other again. so of course you had to take him back home, the entity who had been nothing but caring and helpful since the moment he found you scared and confused.
walking under the moonlight, the street lamps illuminating the path back to your apartment tucked away in the corner of a quiet neighbourhood. the plastic bag you held crinkled with every step, the handles tied together to prevent the contents of your latest victim inside. bringing food back for mr. crawling was not a problem, it was like a mother hunting for her cubs.
the metal keys jingled together with the attached keychains, the door unlocking with a click.
like clockwork, you hear shuffling from the other side of the wooden door, a small smile grazes your lips.
opening the door, you were met with mr. crawling, on the ground as usual with a beaming smile. a warmth spreading across your chest at the sight, the only man who you would ever willingly let into your home.
“ you here ! me wait many/much time, bored. “
locking the door, you listened to his daily yap session that would occur when you returned home. it felt awful leaving mr. crawling for hours alone to attend university and returning late every other day when a meal for him was due.
“ worry little, me stop destroy ! “
mr. crawling proudly declared, his long arms reaching out for your hips when you moved to place your shoes on the rack. slender grey arms wrapping around your hips, he leaned forward to press his cheek against your lower stomach.
ever since mr. crawling moved in, his curious nature resulted in accidentally breaking a few things around the apartment.
a vase when he wanted to touch the alluring bright red flower, the noise of glass shattering startling him. thankfully, you arrived home just in time to stop him from cutting himself with the sharp edges. accidentally screaming at mr. crawling in the process which upset him as he thought you were mad at him.
another case was the morning after he came home with you. he broke the lock to the door in an attempt to follow you outside, concerned for your safety and also not understanding why you had to leave for extended periods of time. in his defence, he missed you ! ( he had only been alone for 20 minutes max. ) that resulted in an hour long explanation as to why he couldn’t follow you and why he had to stay inside. extra kisses and cuddles were given to compensate.
“ i’m glad. “
you replied, petting his head.
“ come. “
mr. crawling obediently followed you to the kitchen, watching as you poured the hacked parts of a poor humans body into a bowl. sitting down on the floor, a small wooden table in between them, you placed the bowl in front of him.
“ consume can ? “
he always asked permission before he ate.
“ consume can. “
> def going to make this into a series cause im a sucker for the domestic life w crawling..

Many Virtuous advice PV thoughts + some rough redesign ideas since I'm not 100% satisfied with his design and want to make improvements
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mkay so now for a yapping session some more context on all these doodles:
Tumblr media
Something something the Knowledge duo has the ability to look into anyone's "past" since baking to work more efficiently.
As the representative of Truth PV uses this and looks into Freedom/DE to understand what caused her to "shatter" (Aka. Return as someone entirely different from who she used to be). He finds out about the banquet, being as loyal to his witches as he was the guy's in shock, and goes into isolation for decates to figure out what to do and protect cookies from the reality he has withnessed.
He ends up spiraling during this long, long time avoiding everything and everyone, developing this insane apocalyptic hypothesis on the witches and their true motives. Peepaw starts thinking that, to protect cookie kind from the imminent threat posed by it's own creators, he must become stronger or just as strong as them.
Soon, he reaches the conclusion that by cracking open his souljam, he might essentially "unlock" his full potential.
Tumblr media
It doesn't work, instead de-stabilizing his power, and said unstable power corrupting him into the Avatar Of Destiny
Tumblr media
Due to both the damage done to his souljam and "corruption", he goes into a dormant state for centuries. Eventually he'll wake up, though he's not a very destructive entity as the Avatar, instead being quite shy and reclusive.
Aaand this is all I got so far! Thanks for coming to my TED-talk/j
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also here's the Avatar scaled to an everyday cookie as a bonus, it didn't fit in frame first so we had to ask it to crouch down a tad bit.

Hi there! I had an idea for either series!ENA or BBQ!ENA interacting with a reader who's like a therapist or something. Like Ena says something kinda messed up and reader's like "no, that's not normal. Are you ok?" Both these girls need so much therapy, or at least a friend. I think reader becoming protective of Ena would be cute. Reader getting mad at the other entities for being mean to Ena without any real reason (that they know of). If you can't/don't want to do this for any reason, that's OK! Take your time and put yourself first!
I can do both!
..........
Series!ENA
Even though Ena (in Power of Potluck) talked to the Therapist, got rid of Mask, and tried to find joy in the little moments--he believes that someone should still keep an eye on her.
That's where you come in, befriending her just to see how she's been handling life in general ever since her session.
Mask hasn't returned, but right off the bat she looks troubled as you explain who sent you and why, although you reassure her it's normal for your boss to request that you checked up on his past patients.
During your talks, her happier side has no complaints really, always grateful to have a new friend. But she does admit to being bothered by her sad side--mainly the effects it had on people she knew.
She's constantly apologizing for her emotions getting "out of hand", even in front of you, and tries burying that sadness--but she gets a wakeup call after you explain how that can do more harm than good.
Eventually, you build enough trust with Ena that she'll willingly turn into her sadder form, and remain in that state long enough for you to make meaningful progress with her.
You notice her tendencies to jump to nonsensical negative conclusions/inaccurate perceptions of herself.....and of course, she has a lot of crying fits/glitches that you gotta help her cope with.
"I-I don't know, I just feel..stupid and worthless sometimes..a-and everyone around me agwees.."
"You believe everybody thinks of you that way? Can you give me an example?"
"W-Well..this one guy asked me for diwections yesterday, a-and...and I couldn't help him!"
"So...he called you those things as an insult?"
"No, h-he thanked me for twying and w-was polite. But I know that's what he weally wanted to say!! Because I'm too stupid and worthless to give anyone diwections!!"
"How do you know for sure he was thinking that?"
"......I....I-I don't know, actually.."
You've gotten better at redirecting her negative thinking, and making her realize that a lot of her assumptions are kinda silly...
Least to say, she feel better coming to you for advice.
Some days she wants to ramble about her day with Moony or what she saw in the sky. Other times, she just needs a hug and a shoulder to cry on. And you're more than willing to offer those at any time.
Outside of your work, you've tagged along in her many adventures, seeing for yourself how rude other entities act towards her---and knowing so many languages helps you easily back sass those who insult her.
They always assume you can't understand them...until you leave them (and Ena) shocked when you suddenly speak their same language.
Dream BBQ!ENA
"So the Genie of the Lonely Door basically told me I'm unforgivable and should be punished for being born.......but that's not even the worst part of that day-"
"P a u s e."
That pretty much sums up your sessions/hangouts with this Ena.
As soon as she was done dealing with the Boss, she finally took time off of work to get some much-needed counseling.
Fortunately, you were a friend she met during one of her assignments who happened to be pursuing psychology, travelling far and wide to study the minds of everyone you've met.
You suggested that she gave therapy with you a try and, holy hell...you were in for a surprise.
She was willing to pay you in chocolates, fatty catties, etc. for your services....which was perfect compensation considering you may need therapy for yourself.
Salesperson yaps about the most recent absurd/rude thing an entity did or said to her...while pretending like it's just another day in the workweek, looking confused when you point out how that's not normal at all.
Meanie, on the other hand, is a different beast. And is honestly the half you're more worried about.
Since she represents the typical fatigued worker who's trapped in their job and feels like they can't afford to have any fun or luxuries without suffering for it.....she vents a lot, and her opening up about it is like her chipping through a brick wall.
Her anxiety over even mentioning the things that bother her is enough to make vines creep onto her body.
And one time, her broken green form showed up at your doorstep, which was terrifying at first glance....but then you recognized that she desperately needed your help--and you let her in, consoling her until she was able to restabilize and explain what led to that state.
Luckily that's the only time you've ever seen that form, and the vines on her body have grown smaller and weaker to the point where they were barely visible.
It quickly becomes apparent to you that Ena is struggling with some form of PTSD, as though she was a soldier trying to find her place in regular society again--returning from a war that you had no idea even occurred.
You've been trying to uncover the mystery of what she's done in the past...and if that was connected to why so many people seemed to hate her.
Regardless of the reason, though, you hoped to remain her friend and that she'd keep visiting you as often as she needed.

A few months ago I was really heavily inspired to draw my ocs as if they were absorbed by the entity into the Dead by Daylight universe. ^^^ this one in particular is meant to be a Huntress skin (obv) named The Witchfinder bc that is one of her many infamous names in universe. She also is a tall muscular woman who conceals her face with a mask (not animal pelt like huntress but whatever) and hums to herself. Easily enough making her fit being a skin than a unique killer but the idea does exist.
I also made like. 2 survivor characters from my vast arrangement of ocs. I intended to add more, their icons, perks, and bio stating their circumstances of waking up in the trial grounds. But I’m lazy af lol who tf has time for that
Tumblr media
Idk I might continue this if I ever find the inspo. These two have dbd lore too and I was working on their unique perks. Or just making one another Cheryl mason because …
That would require REAL long post yap session, reminiscent of my DBH oc days

Some Murder Deer headcanons
oh nooo please don't get dragged into the deer AU haha... unless...
here's some headcanons & ideas I got while drawing these funky lil' cervidae! enjoy... I guess?!
The Deers in general
They're considered "fawns" until the age of 18 years, then they're "bucks" or "does". A gender neutral term does exist in their species - it's simply "cervi".
Their antlers break in (regardless of biological sex) between 15 and 17 years of age.
Antler size can be inherited, but they're mostly fairly small.
Fawns keep their fawn spots as late as 25 years of age. The longer they persist, the smaller the fawns usually are in "final" height. Uzi's e.g stayed until she was 25 and she's fairly small for her species.
Copper-9 & the Absolute Solver
The entire story sets place on an earth-like exoplanet that - similar to alot of xenofiction (e.g Guardians of Ga'hoole) - has one main race populating the planet (in this case, species of the cervidae family)
The Absolute Solver is an Eldritch Organism that is fascinated by the different kinds of mammals and species on exoplanets, slowly incooperating itself into different planets, imitating their populating species and slowly rotting the planet from the core until it is no more.
On Copper-9 it finds the many cervidae looking creatures, taking on the shape of a musk deer like entity (no antlers, sharp canines, for some reasons wants to devour flesh) - seeing how alot of the main individuals have antlers it develops a secondary obsession with antlers.
The AS incooperates the body of a deceased deer, Cyn, which it found rotting away in a forest. After taking the corpse and making it it's host body it found a small 'family' (herd) of deer which included Tessa, a young doe aged 20 that isn't opposed to welcome new indiviuals into the herd. Her parents however, the leading pair of the herd, do not agree and cast "Cyn"/AS aside.
Intruiged by Tessa's welcoming presence despite the herd's cold aura the AS slowly managed to gain her trust by meeting, playing the role of a young doe lost alone in this world ("Cyn") - and Tessa takes the bait easily.
Long yap session short story, the AS kills Tessa, eats her remains and removes her antlers to fuse them to itself, as well as parts of her fur to appear more like her, hoping it could "become" her in a twisted sense of identity seeking.
The Solvers emblem appears on the "users" forehead and they can use it to regenerate and telepathically carry things around with them. An infected user needs blood to sustain themselves as they'll throw up anything that isn't blood or flesh (for example, the deer on Copper-9 eat a plant based diet).
Solver Users/hosts also grow elongated canines and sharp teeth similar to "Cyn"/AS and it's musk deer body.
The Disassembly Squads
The AS creates the Disassembly "Drones" like it did in the OG story, shaping them after deer. Similar to the OG DDs their true eyes sit on their antlers while the ones in their faces are just to blend in (well... as much as they blend in looking like they do LOL).
The DDs are created from slaughtered members of Tessa's former herd, including N(ari), V(erika) and J(ane).
The DDs also have long canines and eat flesh. They're larger than normal deer and while not capable of flight (lack of wings) they're extremely agile and fast, able to quickly outmaneuver their prey.
N, V and J have fragmented memories of their former lives before being killed and rebuilt which do haunt them. J and V suffer the most from this, N is spared for the most part.
J was Tessa's best friend and almost-partner back before they were all slaughtered, and she still remembers this. "Cyn"/AS promises J to bring back Tessa if she does what it commands of her - trusting it to keep it's word. It doesn't. Doomed Yuri.
J is killed off fairly early by Khan when he chases them out of the forest as he manages to pierce her heart with his antlers, which does kill the DDs - usually alot of deer's antlers are too short, but Khan's cool, so he has very big ones. B)
Uzi & her family
They're now called "Doemans" (yes, you may slap me) - and live in a fairly protected herd away from most dangers in a hidden forest.
Nori was killed by N but returned as ghostly entity. She lost her eye in a battle with "Cyn" but was able to escape before being destroyed - she now serves as some sort of guardian for the Cathedral the humans once inhabited, wearing a cross she found as roseary around her neck; knowing it holds the key to kill the AS.
Khan raised Uzi alone and is the main leader of the herd, thus he's a BADASS in this AU. He won't hesitate to fight N when he tried to kill off Uzi, even being able to chase him off.
Uzi is a late bloomer in regards to her antlers - most fawns get them between the age of 15-17 years, Uzi still hasn't gotten her's at the age of 19 and feels extremely sensitive about this topic. Do not mention it unless you want her to cry internally. She gets mocked over this by some of the fawns in her age range. :'))
Khan doesn't allow Uzi to go outside of the forest's borders until her antlers grow in. She hates this - and sneaks out (only to meet N, V and J - whoops!)
Due to her missing antlers N doesn't really recognize her as prey, so he is friendly until V and J are like "dude that's still a deer?? fucking idiot??" and he's like "but she's so nice to me :'(("
That's when you run, Uzi. And have your dad fight N. And win. Because in this AU he doesn't suck!! >:(
Uzi gets the Solver from her mother like in the OG, where Nori is infected by "Cyn" during their fight. It activates during N's attack on her.
Other people
Doll also has her Solver in this AU! She and her family originate from a different part of Copper-9 and lived with different herds which is why their language differs from those in Khan's herd. They mainly got along by communicating through body language :D
Yeva & Nikolai, her parents, where killed by V when they attempted to leave the forest for food. Doll escaped because V didn't spot the fawn hiding in the tall grass - and this activated Doll's Solver. Ever since she's wandering about alone, trying to find a cure for herself. She also loses her eye in another quarrel later on.
Doll's fate is similar to the OG show with "Cyn" eating her corpse after killing her in a vunerable position.
Lizzy & Thad are also around and they're siblings! They're the first fawns in the herd to tag along with Khan to help and find Uzi. Lizzy is still the chattermouth she is in the show and Thad likes to be active. It's the deer ADHD. Their father is the teacher (who isn't a teacher to be exact in this AU... but something similar B))

a couple coilhead sketches from today (smiles with big yellow ugly teeth) not many people seem to notice the ever so sinister nod their lore implies to the physiology of other creatures in the game... their scientific name, "Vir colligerus" translates to "Man who Collects". "Collects" what, exactly? When a coilhead kills someone, their head and lower arms mysteriously vanish. I used to think that it was just for shock value, but then I started to think about how a lot of higher up entities have certain parts of a human head but lack the rest. Nutcrackers and their single, human-esque eyes. Jesters with their skinless, eyeless skulls. Even Butlers-- no eyes, and skin that hangs loosely almost as if they have not even a lick of skeletal structure beneath. Additionally, the only other skin we see on a Butler are two human hands, perfectly articulated and in pristine condition. The coilhead's bestiary suggests they were weapons of war, could their role in such a war be to just run around and collect parts for other entities??? it seems like such an insane theory but just insane enough to fit into something like Lethal Company.
yap session OVER . thank you

Questions, a lot of them
Idk if someone already did ask or if these were already explained
BUT
How does death work in your SAMS human version AU thingie?
Like for example did solar still die cause ruin and his stuff?
Or how did nathan (nexus) get in the story?
Ik there is something with entity's going on in this AU/version (IDK HOW TO CALL IT TvT)
Also how did elias (eclipse)[ i tjikk that was his name?] come to be?
So yeh thats kinda the things that are in the top
Also I love your artstyle so much TvT
THANK YOUU❤‼️ Ik really glad some people like my artstyle O(≧∇≦)O !!!
also: YESSS I GOOD EXCUSE TO YAP!!! Im not good at explaining so feel free to ask abt some things you may have gotten confused on :)
Anyway (I'll be using their actual names instead of their human names for less confusion :3) yap session under cut
Question 1.
Honestly, death works mostly the same still! Every event thats happened in the SAMS/LAES/EAPS universe still very much proceeds the same way, just smaller aspects like revival thats changed.
-(1.1) Yes, Solar still did die because of Ruin! His revival was much harder due to him being from another dimension, but Eclipse has knowledge of different kinds of revival spells and all he had to do was gain the materials—the one Eclipse used contained using his very blood which tied Solar to the new dimension :)
-(1.2) Same procedure with the whole "New Moon" thing, but slightly altered; Moon sacrificed himself for Killcode which broke the bond they had (aka what ties an Entity like Killcode to a host like Max) in a safer manner because Entities tend to die when their host dies (something I forgot to mention in this post)... but since a new consciousness developed in Moon's place (aka New Moon/Nexus), Killcode did not die. After Solar dies, the same events happened with New Moon becoming Nexus, but instead of a chip that contained Moon, Moon was instead a consciousness that Nexus pushed out of his head that Monty quickly worked to restore since the consciousness was very much fading; Monty used a revival spell that made a new body (similar to Moon's) so Moon's consciousness could transfer there.
–(1.3) Bonus: Now that Nexus is technically alive via Witherstorm (which makes Nexus a Ghost-Entity of sorts), no revival spell was ever actually used on him. Instead, the Witherstorm forcibly revived him by using him as a vessel which is why Nexus's consciousness is fading.
There are many revival spells that may be used such as:
•Body Revival= the one used for Moon; revives ones body but with no consciousness. Very much not known.
•Consciousness Revival= allows to make a consciousness of someone who passed (with or without their memories intact) or a new being (no memories). More known but hard to do.
•Full revival= the one used for Eclipse and Bloodmoon (+Solar Flare); revives both body and consciousness with most of their memories intact. This one takes a lot of time... for most, Ruin does it with ease.
•Power Revival= Similar to how the Creator was revived, people can also be revived via simple magic or Negative Star Power (NSP), that is if strong enough—sometimes, the one who revived them may make them connect them to be a servant (like Rez and the Creator, or maybe even Servant Sun and Lord Eclipse).
Books about reviving someone is not a known one—in fact, theres barely any, but Moon managed to "inherit" one from the Creator's old office that the Creator thought was useless, and Moon merely told it to Monty just in case. Ruin, however, had to go through trial and error to manually learn how to do a Full Revival which was what he tested in his old dimension in secret, and he eventually mastered that which is why Solar Flare and the other two (three?) were easily revived.
Question 2.
Heres some direct quotes from my notes:
–..."At the age of 16 Y/O, Moon eventually argues with Killcode, and says in the heat of the moment: "Just go to Sun! Youll have more luck making him submit!" (Moon was angry and confused; he hadnt meant to drag Sun into the argument). Now, Entities dont like being challenged... but Killcode didnt wanna leave Moon either since Moon's body is strong, so Killcode puts a part of himself into Sun's head instead." <–(How Eclipse was made)
–..."Thats why Eclipse knows a lot about Sun and Moon because he has Killcode's memories on the twins's upbringing."
–..."Anyway, Eclipse doesnt fully develop until a few months in where Sun meets him. Sun mistakes Eclipse as just "the friend/older brother figure in my dreams" (since Eclipse only appeared dream-wise to Sun back then)—they got closer this way which is what I meant by saying "My human version of Sun and Eclipse being closer" or smth like that. At this stage, Eclipse doesnt have a form, so he looks like Sun but just older in a sense—he never spoke a lot, too (+no introduction at all), as he only did actions and all."
To summarize: Killcode put a part of himself in Sun's head which resulted in Eclipse. Eclipse wasnt exactly known until months later when he appeared to Sun in his dreams which then formed a bond.
Something I hadnt mentioned was that: Entities need to form a bond with their host to intertwine their lives and so the Entity grows stronger—their core (the very thing that causes their lives to intertwine which is what I meant by "Entities tend to die when their host dies".
Basically: the reason why Eclipse keeps reviving or having the ability to be revived is because Sun hasnt died yet, but their connection has weakened the more Eclipse has been revived—especially now with Eclipse being on his 4th revival. So now if Sun were to ever die, Eclipse wouldnt die as well due his more humane nature now.
Again: I am horrible at explaining, so if this is still confusing I do apologize! :'D

i had some time to look more closely at the trailer, so i thought i'd make a post about some of the things i noticed. i’ll include some reference pictures so everyone knows what i’m talking about.
Tumblr media
YAP SESSION UNDER THE CUT
Tumblr media Tumblr media
at the beginning, when Kris, Susie and Ralsei are introduced, Kris seeks out Susie and helps her get up, while Ralsei simply joins them without Kris doing anything.
i feel this is somewhat representative of the relationship between our three protagonists. Kris seems to have a genuine interest in Susie (as does Susie in Kris), while Kris cares less about Ralsei in comparison. this also reflects tea theory of course.
Tumblr media
this seems to be (at least in function) some kind of new soul mode (even though the soul’s colour doesn’t change). the colour of the projectiles here matches Spamton’s glasses, as well as Friend’s eyes. the pattern in the background seems also reminiscent of eyes to me.
i feel this sequence is probably somehow connected to Spamton, perhaps this is a battle against Mike, who might share Spamton’s glasses’ colour in some way.
also, this could be the room Toby was talking about in the Release Date Announcement Newsletter. it features two parallel and simultaneous areas of interaction, which could be a good opportunity to implement the mouse feature on two switch 2 joycons.
Tumblr media
this rhythm segment shows the Delta Warriors performing on a stage. the box that shows Susie’s notes is blocked somehow, while Kris’s and Ralsei’s are accessible to the player. i feel like this reflects Susie’s actions from Ch. 1 somewhat, where the player couldn’t directly control her. it’ll be interesting to see whether this is because Susie’s relation with the Fun Gang gets worse again, or if this is just another “Susie casually rejects the Player’s control” moment.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
some sort of glass (or maybe ice) seems to be falling in this scene. after Kris hangs onto the row of tiles, you can see a faint outline around the tile to the left of Kris, as well as a sort of progress bar before Kris jumps to the next tile. this leads me to believe this is some sort of climbing mechanic. perhaps this will be used in a real time climbing section. the falling glass indicates some kind of emergency, and the progress bar supports this as well (placing a time cost on the player in a situation when time isn’t important would be pointless).
on the top you can also see what seems to be stained glass windows. this leads me to believe that this is the location of the dark world of Ch. 4: the church. the stained glass windows would also explain the change in the colour palette.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
in the “Chapter X is waiting” sequence, the footage for the first two chapters shows their respective main antagonists. this leads me to believe that what is shown for Ch. 3 & 4 is a sneak peak at the upcoming main antagonists.
the tv we see at the end of Ch. 2 is shown for Ch. 3. this practically confirms that this tv person, who is presumably Tenna (from antenna) is the antagonist of Ch. 3.
it gets a bit trickier for Ch. 4. Kris and Susie are running along a pathway made of large (glass?) tiles featuring the Delta Rune, while a bunch of small, black, fuzzy creatures with one white spot (perhaps an eye) are hunting them. the tiles light up as Kris steps onto them, and break shortly after.
This could either mean that Toby broke the pattern with the antagonists in order to keep Ch. 4 more mysterious, or the Ch. 4 antagonist is a sort of hive mind or a group of these small creatures.
the prevalence of the Delta Rune here is another point towards the fourth chapter being set in the church. another small detail is the rest of the tiles: it seems like the Vessel or Kris are pictured behind the Delta Rune.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
then there’s the sepia tone animation at the end. the entity that the fun gang is standing in front of is too large to clearly make out, but it seems like multiple angel-like wings are unfolding to reveal the big star shape in the centre. i think it’s a pretty safe bet to assume that this is the angel, or at least something closely connected to it.
interestingly enough, the star shape at the centre of this entity connects it to the titans of the prophecy, which feature a very similar shape on their bodies. this likely means that the titans are also connected to the angel somehow, and are probably allied with it. i think this makes it also clear that the Roaring and the Angel’s Heaven are connected too; perhaps one follows from the other.
if you want some more yapping, i'd recommend TBSkyen's analysis of the trailer.
anyways, i'm tired (if i made a typo or smth, you now know why), so that's it from me for now.

How does your interpretation of Jekyll & Hyde differ from the novel’s characterization of them?
I have honestly been procrastinating from answering this ask, not because I'm lazy but because I'm a generally shy creature lol:
From what I've seen and come to know in the fandom, there's usually two polarizing interpretations of Jekyll's/Hyde's situation: One being the more "grounded" one, where there's a single consciousness and both Jekyll and Hyde are merely states of being that said consciousness can take at any given moment. Therefore, whenever Jekyll regards Hyde as a separate entity, he's lying to both himself and the audience in an attempt to redirect responsibility away from himself ("it wasn't me, it was drunk Jekyll!").
The other interpretation is based on the take that Jekyll and Hyde are separate beings alltogether, sharing a mortal vessel and a mind, with Hyde originating from Jekyll but being capable of independent thought and action. This either happens as soon as the first transformation, or gradually with time, depending on the version of them.
As for my take, I take great delight in discussing and dissecting the novella through the lens of the first interp, in regards of the different themes that are present in it. Addiction, repression, hypocrisy and the Freudian model of psychoanalysis and what have you.
But consider: The idea of two halves of a whole man, so distinctly and jarringly different from each other and yet so inextricably intertwined, trying to enforce their will over the other while piloting a single body through victorian england is to me immensely entertaining and indulgent. Perhaps Hyde as a persona has indeed started to "bud off" from Jekyll as his shameful desires, repressed feelings and vices given shape the more freedom he was granted by Jekyll. And also the more he insisted that Hyde was "someone else" apart from himself, like a messed up, drug-induced tulpa or something similar lmao. The more Jekyll started to "feed" and nurture Hyde, the more distinct they became and the more Hyde was getting out of control and untameable by Jekyll, culminating in the Carew incident.
tl;dr I love the novel in general and therefore most of the interpretations of Jekyll/Hyde, may they stray far from the source material or not. Of course I too have my preferences and pickyness but that's for the next yapping session lol.

The monster behind Townsville Park has been one of the strangest mysteries about FusionFall's lore, at least to me.
I remember when I replayed through the game in more recent memory and paid very close attention to every mission and dialogue, taking notes of it all. (It was during my first year of uni when Retro had finally brought back the original game from the dead, and I was finally a certified English speaker, having passed IELTS and was now studying in the UK,) There's a lot of things I learned about the game that younger me never learned about because I couldn't understand it, and a lot of them were really interesting too. However, the mystery behind the monster below Townsville Park always just kinda stuck with me.
Could it have been yet another big bad monster that the Powerpuff Girls would fight in the show? But if so, then why did Fuse need that ancient magical rune to wake it up, and why was it sleeping underground when most of the PPG monsters are from Monster Island? Maybe it was something more related to Juniper Lee, seeing the magical relation. But June never got involved in that mission line. It was really only the trio stationed at the park + Gwen who deduces that the rune is an alarm clock.
I can't honestly say what the game's writers had in mind when writing this mission line. Magic in the video jokes it's probably the Blowfish from "Uh-Oh Dynamo", but I don't believe that... especially since the Blowfish itself appeared out of the sea at Candy Cove during the 2010 Mother's Day update.
In any case, I kinda like how little we actually know about this supposed destructive entity below Townsville Park. It gives this mystique to it, y'know. The less we know about something, the more ominous, illustrious and dangerous it sounds. Yapping session over. Go watch the new FusionLore video!

Random Cog Headcanons: Serial Numbers
Because I am constantly thinking about cogs in TTCC, I've decided to just start posting a few of my yap sessions to this Tumblr. Some will be long, and some quite short! I'm especially interested in how suits work both physically and within their society, so if you like that kind of thing, I've got a whole lot of it. Starting with something (relatively) short and simple today, though: serial numbers! Basic Summary: In addition to personnel number for use within specific companies (such as those found on Cogs.Ink), all suits have a serial number that acts like a universal ID—essentially their equivalent of a social security number, birth certificate, and more, all wrapped up into one.
Every suit is given a serial number upon completion, as is legally required by the Suitopian government. ‎
Serial numbers typically include information such as which company or independent entity built them, an identifier of the factory in which they were manufactured, the date they were manufactured, a model / design indicator, and a unique string of numbers at the end to serve as an individual identifier.  ‎
>> For example, a C.O.G.S. serial number for your average Flunky could be something along the lines of: COGS-01542-041025-FL001-05382 ‎
>> The above Flunky was manufactured by C.O.G.S. in Factory 1542, on 04/10/25. It is the most basic model of Flunky, specifically, and its individual identifier is 05382, differentiating that particular individual from other Flunkies of that model, built on the same day and in the same factory. ‎
Serial numbers do not typically change over time, and are managed by the Suitopian government. On occasion, the version and model identifier may be updated upon submitting proof of extensive upgrades, but the rest is set in stone. This allows every single suit to be effectively traced back for a number of purposes, such as notifying individuals of recalls or manufacturing defects present in specific production batches. It isn’t, however, good news for suits who find themselves tied to companies or entities that they would rather not have any affiliation with. ‎‎‎
There is a lot of bureaucracy involved with regard to serial numbers, as is the case with most things in suit society. Some are merely built by factories or companies that are deemed more unreliable or of lesser quality than others, which leaves them with the short end of the dipstick when it comes to getting jobs in highly competitive markets.  ‎‎
The usage of serial numbers to differentiate job candidates is considered very controversial as of late, and workers' rights groups in Suitopia are pushing towards forbidding employers from partaking in this kind of discrimination.
