"Dirtfarmer Ep": Black Mountain Tabernacle's Haunting Hymns In the gritty dust trails of their latest EP, "Dirtfarmer," Black Mountain Tabernacle crafts a ghost dance of despondence and defiance while plucking at the strings of dark country lore. The scent of doom-laced honesty hangs heavy as Preacher's vocals cut through like ragged thunder across a stark prairie skyline. His guitar, alongside Stonepicking’s weeping steel cries, conjures up images both spectral and earthbound. https://open.spotify.com/album/2wuk2TzP6lQtI5lsuN1IyC As each track unfolds—like tattered pages from a worn diary kept under lock and key—the narrative arc bends toward the oppressive heartbreak only capitalism in its cruelest form can fertilize. Through Fred Hills' frenetic heartbeat drumming to Alfie Wood's bass lines that slither low on the horizon line like an impending storm, “Dirtfarmer” pulses with raw vigor. [caption id="attachment_55146" align="alignnone" width="877"] "Dirtfarmer Ep": Black Mountain Tabernacle's Haunting Hymns[/caption] Recorded in Brighton Road Studios’ echoey chambers—with every stitch sewn under Jake Skinner’s watchful eye—the result is gruesomely picturesque; it reeks sweetly of despair yet vibrates defiant enthusiasm into your marrow. Masterfully tethered by Ben Pike's resonant touch at Raretone Mastering in Leeds, this is no mere collection but a saga tingled with tragedy. Energized by anguished narratives encapsulated in backbreaking melodies, Black Mountain Tabernacle singsblack-hearted hymns where shadows play folk tales on strung-up bone instruments—a ruthlessly enchanting spectacle dressed in dusk. Mobile Spoiler Guide
Tumblr media
Most of the posts on this blog are gonna be spoiler-free, but if I'm ever discussing a topic relevant to a specific arc or in a level of detail that would spoil earlier storylines, I will place a spoiler tag. I've decided to have one major spoiler tag for everything after the live action and specific tags for every arc afterwards so that anime/manga fans can block spoilers for every arc they haven't reached yet individually instead of having to block anime/manga spoilers as a whole. Arc-related spoiler tags will be listed here with their chapter and episode numbers for a better overview. There are spoiler tags for the (major) movies, too!
Please let me know if this works for you guys as a spoiler system! It's the safest and most inclusive I could think of, but maybe you have a better idea for me.
Live Action
spoiler: post-la s1 (everything that happens after Season 1 of the live action)
Manga & Anime
I'm mostly gonna be ignoring filler arcs, which is why there's a gap in the episodes sometimes.

My AOT Reaction
The last half of Ep 2
Tumblr media
This anime’s theme song is awesome. I would head-bang to this tune. Just thought I should put that out there. :)
The bread shortage is a bummer.
Hunger is something that a lot of people still suffer from in real life.
If you need HELP or know someone who does.
English: 1-866-3-HUNGRY
Spanish: 1-877-8-HAMBRE
Now that I got being a good person out of the way, continue.
16:50
How can those men call themselves soldiers after publicly beating a kid? 😑
17:20
Armin’s the peacemaker of this universe, isn’t he?
17:47
First of all, why does Erin think he can just go beat the Titans up and be fine? He is a child and should know it! Not only is Erin acting foolish when (hold up my child brother is telling on me to our mother for watching AOT because it has “gore”) he acts all high and mighty like that but it also shows that he isn’t mature enough to face reality. The reality that Erin cannot fix this and the Titans aren’t something he can conquer at the moment.
I’m with Armin on this, not eating won’t solve anything, it’ll just create a new problem. I’ve come to realize Armin and I are alike. Should I make a post about that? The similarities and differences? 😂
18:24
I love her. :/
Erin needs to learn how to shut up.
19:05
Why did Mikasa say “your mom” when talking about their mother?
Am I missing something?
A plot twist?
Bum-bum-bummm~
19:44
Wha- I’m sorry did Erin just say “the following year!?!!
Well that’s a big time difference!
How old are these kids?!
Definitely not old enough to serve in the military so if that what they show next- 😖
20:14
Why do I think that’s funny how Erin just said that?
“Even though their sacrifices meant nothing, it helped with the food shortage.” :/ Hahaha! 😅 I’m sorry but that’s an interesting turn on “looking on the bright side”.
Why is Erin soooo dramatic? His voice/his face are both so dramatic. But hey I’m sure I’d be even more dramatic if my life was a living nightmare like Erin’s.
A New Character Reaction!
Keith Sadies
𝙻𝚘𝚞𝚍
Lᴏᴜᴅ
𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱
Is he okay? Because it looks like he doesn’t get any sleep at all.
Oh yes! Loving the new look. Smooth Bald head with a point small beard is so in right now. 😐
It’s never been “in” and it never will be. :/
Sorry Mr. Sadies but change it up (if you can), life must be rough.
Back to the show!~~~
21:48
Is this Mr. Harron’s child?
22:00
That better not be Mikasa! Just, no!
Armin looks the same though.
22:09
Erin must’ve gone through puberty all in one year.
For the sake of the show not having prepubescent teens that look ugly, of course.
Also, Erin definitely had a glow up. (Obviously. 🙄)
I’ve always said that guys go through puberty like a punch in the face. All happens over night and ta-da! A new improved version of a teenage boy! Just what we need in this world. Notice this sarcasm. Also, I have proof so maybe another time.
22:17
Even though Erin had a glow up he is still as overly determined and pumped up as ever!
Thank you to anyone who cared enough to read through this mess. God bless you and your loved ones! Have a good or night and goodbye!:)!
