A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Rainbow doesn’t really enjoy showing gushy romance. The type to care deeply, but feel so grossed out by emotion she keeps it on the low. She’ll gladly show how much she cares about you through acts of service. More so the, ‘show I love you,’ than the, ‘say I love you,’ type.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Quite literally the show is about friendship, so it showcases how she’s friends with varying personality types. The friendship could start in varying ways, but with her being an extrovert— I think as long as you’re in some way interesting/cool, she’ll connect with you.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

She’d get shy and deny she enjoys it, but you two end up asleep in each other’s arms every night. (She doesn’t care to big or small spoon, she just wants you close)

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Though she tends to be uninterested in romance, I really believe that she’s a secret hopeless romantic. If she finds the one, she’ll want to settle forever.

She’s a bit chaotic with everyday chores like dishes/laundry. She’s much better at chores like fixing the car or getting groceries.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

She’d break up over something serious like cheating. But again, she’s a hopeless romantic on the inside.

I really really don’t see her being a cheater. She’d want to stay with the one she loves and work through stuff. But if you cheat, she’s ending it and acting like she doesn’t know you. (She’ll be crying for a while in private/to close friends).

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

She’s much more a left minded person than right, so she’d be good at doing taxes and all stuff math. She’d want to get married after a respectable time when you’re both of a good age.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

She’s a bit rough around the edges, not one to show deep emotions easily— she prefers to stay surface-y with most things. She does treat those she cares for with a gentler attitude.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Spur of the moment hugger. Or hugs during special occasions like a holiday. She’s not going to deny one, but may feel awkward if she’s hugged all the time.

Her hugs are gentle honestly— pulling you to her that you’re both close, but not squeezing you (if it’s a spur of the moment hug, then it’s a squeeze).

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

Not a big words person. She’d say she loves you when it comes down to it like when you first confess— but after you might have to confront her to say it. She’d be like, “I thought I’ve showed I loved you?”

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

She’s only ever loud with two things— pride and anger. That’s really it. So if she feels jealous, she’d most likely act like nothings wrong, stutter if you ask why she’s acting different. She’d just deny. Deny. Deny. (Unless she really felt she was loosing you, she’s think it’s her fault).

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Rainbow would be passionate and intentional when she kisses you. Most of her kisses would be left on your lips or cheek. If you initiate and kissed her, she’d love it in the same areas (lips, cheek).

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

She cares— definitely will save and look after them. She’s gentler, but definitely still boasts herself to get compliments from the kids that are easily amused.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Probably the type to wake up early, but fall right back asleep later and nap on and off. So she’d probably leave you in bed and go do something before possibly coming back and sleeping beside you if you haven’t woken up yet.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

It’s been shown by the show that she’s pretty set on when she goes to sleep. Eyes get heavy when it starts to get dark. (She’s a bit of a snorer). If she can, she’d want to hold you to her chest.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

Eventually she’ll begin to open up, but she’s not sharing her deep and darkest secrets up front. It has to be a special moments, like you ask a question when you two are about to fall asleep at her house.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

Angered relatively fast. Gets mad if someone cut you guys off in line, gets mad if no one saw her do a neat trick, gets mad if someone mocks her. She gets mad easily. (You have to calm her down)

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

In the beginning stages of when you two starting harboring a crush on one another— she’d be pretty aloof, but also care to hear you out— acting like, “she didn’t hear you,” but she absolutely did.

The longer you two are into dating, the more confident she gets in saying, “of course I know what you like.”

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

(She’s secretly cheesy). It’s the day you two confessed you liked each other. It makes her get butterflies when she remembers that you like her. You like her, like her. It blows her mind to this day that someone she likes also has feelings for her as well.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Protective gf. She’s not giving any warnings, she’s throwing hands. She may be all, “pfft, no. I dont care,” at times— but the second someone insults you her adrenaline is going from 0-100 and she’s boiling. She’s protective and will fight physically or with harsh words.

You standing up for her in any way will have her melting on the inside. When you’re alone she’ll thank you, and say how much it means to have someone care for her.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

Decent amount. She’s not a lovey dovey girl. So she’d probably schedule something personal and intimate with you— she’s not big on gift giving, so it’d be more acts of service/quality time based.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

* She will at times care more for her ego/how she’s perceived than you.

* She can be hurtful with her comments (she tends to just say whatever comes to her mind)

* If you’re not attuned to quieter acts of showing love, then you may feel unloved being in a relationship with her

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Not obsessed with looks, she’s more so a tomboy. She’s concerned with her image though and being seen as important/special/cool.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

She would, but she probably won’t say it unless she feels she’s loosing you for good. (Or you’ve been together for like forever)

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

Definitely the kiss and makeup kind. She would prefer to convey she’s sorry by being physical than actually communicate.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

Can confirm as a fellow Sunset Shimmer fan I adore her too. Been awhile since I've seen Equestria Girls so I'm sorry if she's OOC. This concept takes place in the Human World since I don't do much of those.

Took a classic yandere take with this. Not fully proofread, expect mistakes!

Obviously Sunset Shimmer's yandere type changes depending on if she's a villain or not.

I'll be looking at reformed Sunset Shimmer in this concept, so her after the first movie.

She is the leader of the group when Twilight isn't in the human world.

She's in charge of any magic spikes or magical problems in general.

She knows not a lot of people like her due to what she's done... but she's trying to get better!

She's trying to build her confidence and acts very kind to those around her.

She writes to Twilight often about her findings.

She's intelligent and compassionate... but can lose her composure and temper easily.

Sunset Shimmer tries her best to be a good person... she even manages to make a new friend.

My idea was that Sunset Shimmer's obsession makes her relapse into her old behavior a bit.

She's better now but occasionally might find herself giving into a more selfish and manipulative side.

Her relapsing is unnoticeable to her at first... but soon she realizes it the more she's around you.

When she met you she realized you two get along well.

You often hang out at each other's homes and play games, talk, and just enjoy each other.

Soon Sunset Shimmer starts to develop feelings for you....

You have no clue about her true origins as a Unicorn but she doesn't really plan on telling you... right off.

She's still curious and stunned by her new feelings towards you.

She... she hasn't felt so warm towards anyone before... let alone like this.

She struggles on if she should let Twilight know about such a thing.

Speaking of which... Sunset Shimmer, as Twilight's student, may have a similar yandere type to the princess.

She wants to learn all about her new feelings, she notes everything down about you...

Perhaps even follows you around to an obsessive degree.

She plays it all off as just being clingy.

After all... she's been through a lot... so surely you'll forgive her, right?

Originally doesn't mind you around her group of friends... but soon she ends up jealous.

She may eventually try writing to Twilight... saying she feels overly obsessive and controlling towards you...

However... maybe midway through the letter... she stops.

Why should Twilight know?

What if Twilight sees her affection for you as a bad thing.

What if she takes you away?

As a result, Sunset Shimmer never tells Twilight.

Sun Shim's friends get concerned when they see her always ask about you.

She even glares at people around you... a fire igniting within her whenever she sees others speak to you.

Eventually Sunset Shimmer may give into her darker desires.

The demonic grasp on her heart appears again.

Soon she's threatening others around you and slowly controlling you to spend more time with her.

She tries to ignore the violent thoughts she has... but soon she may act upon those too.

Eventually she confesses to you... opening her heart to you in hopes you'll accept.

If you don't... she doesn't take it well.

In fact... her heart tells her to take you.

To tie you up... to lock you away...

To hide all the evidence of her obsession... no matter how much blood is on her hands.

She apologizes next time she comes to your home... knocking you out and catching you softly.

She doesn't tell a soul once she takes you home and sits you on a bed.

Twilight doesn't need to know... her friends don't need to know...

If anyone asks she'll get rid of them.

You two are meant to be together... she just knows it.

Her dark desires pour into her heart once again... she can't help but kiss you softly when she sees you wake up.

To your dismay... it doesn't seem like she changed at all from before... she's still a selfish demon who only cares for herself in the end.

good lird i finish return of midnight sparkle and i come back to see a rarijack fic???? im eating GOOD tonight anyway hi sorry to bother but return of midnight sparkle was so goddamn good. i havent watched anything regarding equestria girls (i just got to season 3 of the main show lmao) but i was still able to get really into sunset as a character, and ouugh. mutual pining my beloved. really liked the gap in communication between them, normally that kind of plot can feel really frustrating but i think sunsets fear is built up enough that it just kind of works? love it a lot, it was really fun seeing her relationships with the others too! i really like the direction you took pinkie too, i agree i dont like her much in the main show but supportive friend (who talks like she's typing a twitter post lmao) is such a perfect portrayal for her. why yes, two fics is all i have for now!! im really glad you like my writing so much because i'm strongly concidering more, heheh. All my other writing is personal oc stuff that i don't feel like postin! YEAH the thing about "Will they wont they" is that so many stories dont justify them well at ALL and it easily gets frustrating. my challenge was to hook it on a character angle; Of course you wouldnt confess to someone if you didn't think you were worthy of her, or anything at all! and generaly if you've never been in love you just wont be able to pick up on the signs of someone pining for you as well. it was absolutely wonderfull to write, nyeheh. NGL although equestria girls endlessly inspired me, dont watch it on expectation you'll get sunset this well characterized hfdbhvd not tooting my horn here but STILL. they have some fun af stuff in there! i do reccomend watching. Specialy Forgotten friendship and Rainbow rocks! (though you should watch the movies in order) yeah, characters like pinkie, rainbow and cadance where fixer uppers, but i never take disliking characters as an excuse to write them poorly. I take it as a challenge! And yes secretly every MLP stuff i write has an underground message of futhering the rarijack agenda i will simply always make those two canon because theyre simply endlessly entertaining to write heheh

You know after Lotor was done dirty in canon. I started listening to My Past is Not Today from Equestria Girls on loop. The song fits Lotor in my opinion.

You could just do what i do and... Ignore the parts of canon you don't like. Also just listened to the song, it 100% fits how i would write Lotor in an ACTUAL redemption art.

Here's how I would write it:

Once he joins the Castle of Lion's crew he's 100% intending on betraying them eventually.

However, as time goes on he slowly becomes close to the Paladins and the crew on the castle.

Allura becomes like a sister to him (because this is a LOTIDGE account god damn it)

He and Hunk bond over helping each other cook, he helps Hunk identify what he's cooking with, and Hunk teaches Lotor how to make appetizing meals.

Shiro and Lotor bond over different leading methods and what works best on a small scale vs a large scale.

Lance, as soon as he realizes Lotor doesn't like Allura like that, becomes Lotor's wingman and one of his closest friends. Especially when he learns of his womanizing past. "Teach me your ways wise one." "Yeah no, you are not going to win Allura like that."

Coran becomes a father figure to Lotor like he is for Allura. and he teaches Lotor about Altean culture and Holidays.

Pidge and Lotor... Have an awkward relationship at first, because Lotor for 'some reason' can't speak a smart word around her. Once they start dating they are a power couple.

Keith and Lotor bond over having lost heritage their working on reconnecting with.

Matt... does not like Lotor for the simple fact he's dating Pidge.

Over time his bonds exceed his goal and one night he's sobbing confessing his plans to betray them to the group, but he realizes... He can't.

They've grown to mean so much for him. So he reveals all he knows of the quintessence field and they take his ships built from the 'Voltron Meteor' (how else do you describe that thing), and make a new lion to match the rest of the Voltron Lions.

So the 'more paladins then lions' issue is settled. And they make the Pink Lion of Voltron for Allura. Which works as a backup in case of the other lions out of commission, Voltron can still be formed.

Coran then trains Lotor how to fly the castle, so he can lead them to save the Alteans he's used as living batteries and make amends as well as save any that may still be alive.

Soon the Castle of Lions is no longer just 6-9 people any given day. It has a whole Altean crew being trained on how to work its facilities.

Alteans like Romelle have their issues with Lotor still, but they also see he is trying to make up for his misdeeds and is truly a new man.

And eventually when they go back to Earth with some Galra and the Castle of Lions for a Peace mission (and to allow the Paladins to see their familys again) Lotor apologizes for everything the Humans were put through because of the Galra. And to make up for it he will make sure that a human always has a say in the Empire's affairs.

Iverson: How will you work that out? Lotor: Oh! I have plans on marrying a human!

Iverson: Please say it's not Lance...

Lotor: He did pay me $10 to joke and say it was.

Iverson: ... Who is it

Pidge: Hey Legolass you done with your boring politics? I want to see if we can upgrade all ships with Green's Cloaking capabilities!

Lotor: *looking absolutely smitten* Just a second! *looks back to IVerson* I like my partners smart and feral.

Iverson: ... Earth is in good hands... But the Galaxy garrison has some formal Apologies to make toward...

I mean, if the theory about them living in the human world for years is true, then I see them as only eternally/physically 16. Could you elaborate more on the school of friendship being a re-education camp?

@cripplepunk-sylveon, let me know if there's anything you want to expand on or that I missed. Okay so, Friendship is presented in the text as an integral and nearly unique part of pony culture. It is only by the grace of Friendship that literal demons don't render all of Equestria a frozen wasteland. The narrative of MLP: FiM gives ponies a cultural monopoly on prosocial behavior, which ends up evolving into ponies having the responsibility to culturally assimilate other species.

The movie in particular emphasizes that the creatures outside Equestria Don't Do Friendship Like We Do, and that it makes the outside world a bleak and dangerous place to hapless prosocial ponies. Our protagonists only gain the allies they need by converting the natives into thinking how they do. If I had to pick a point where FiM began to go off the rails in this sense, it would be the movie.

The following season has the friendship map start sending pairs of ponies on what's essentially missionary work. Two ponies go to see other species, find a foreign culture that's Doing Prosocial Behavior Wrong, and fix it by teaching them to Do Prosocial Behavior Right, Like We Do.

And then, ultimately, the Friendship School gets built. If it were simply a school for ponies, it would simply be poorly thought out (none of the Mane Six have teaching degrees, they hire no real teachers to teach non-Friendship-related subjects or even substitute when the Mane Six needs to go be magical heroes, they let Glimglam be guidance counselor even though she's still working on her own stuff). But no. They bring in nonpony students from other countries to live at the school, fully immersed in pony culture and fully taught by pony missionaries how to think and act like ponies, on the explicit basis that their home cultures are inferior and need to be fixed by Teaching Them Friendship. This has highly uncomfortable historical parallels with USian and Canadian Indian residential schools. The Student Six also have significant historical parallels with political hostages, a favourite assimilation/control tool of the Roman Empire.

(Oh, hey, you remember that episode where one of the Student Six vandalized the Friendship Christmas tree and Twilight threatened to let none of them go back home to their families over break, and instead be forced to undergo more intense Friendship Studies if no-one confessed? Horrifying!)

And Spike caps off the series (Distant Epilogue notwithstanding) with the line "The more creatures learn about friendship, the safer we'll be!", by which point the show has so fully equivocated Friendship with pony culture that it's an explicit endorsement of cultural assimilation as a national security imperative. I have no fucking clue how that line was allowed to be aired.

Best Equestria Girls/Unconfirmed Couples in MLP

This is once again going to be a heavily biased list. I literally like all these ships the same except #10 but it would be a weird list to have a nine way tie. these couples were either only hinted at in the final season of My little pony, were in the comics, or were from Equestria Girls. They will be ranked on how much of a romance they seem to have.

#10:  Applejack and Rainbow Dash

There is nothing wrong with these two being a couple, as they are implied to be in the final episode of MLP, I just never shipped them and never found there was any romantic tension between the two, just friendship. The only romantic thing I can think of is from the scene the picture shows where they are friendly bickering about how Rainbow should be allowed to help Applejack with her farm chores.

#9:  King sombra and Radiant Hope

I love these two so much. Through flashbacks we see how these two met, were the best of friends growing up, and than Sombra falling in love with Hope. Even in his monsterous shadow pony form Sombra wants Hope to be his queen, and Hope still loves him, and when he is turned into a full pony they run off together side by side to explore Equestria finding Amore shards to restore her. Hope risked her safety and her freedom to save Sombra and there love oozes from the pages. However, the reason they are number 9 and not number 1 is because of Sombra’s treatment of her as a shadow pony. He emotionally manipulated her to stay by his side, screamed and yelled at her, threatened her, and kept her basically prisoner in the castle, he changes in the end but that doesn’t change what he did to her.

#8: Flash Sentry and Twilight Sparkle

They used to be my favourite ship when I was young, they were so cute and I found it funny seeing a blushing embarrassed Twilight, something the normal show didn’t have. However I was like 13 at the time when I watched this and Rainbow rocks for the first time, and have since seen some flaws here. There relationship is sweet in the first film and and you can tell how good of a guy Flash is, and Twilight returns these feeling, and the quick showing of them being at the dance together was adorable, but than Rainbow rocks happens. It is made clear to use that the entire time Twilight has been gone Flash has missed her(so cute) but from the show we know Twilight hasn’t thought or mentioned human Flash or pony Flash since, and continues not to think about him until she literally runs into him, and awkwardly the cuteness fades as Twilight no longer seems to know how to interact with him, which upsets Flash. Than as the sirens work there magic they become increasingly hostile towards each other and don’t really get a lot of screen time together for the rest of the movie, and than they literally never see each other again, but Flash still waits for her to return. In Everfree Forest he starts to move on.

#7: Curly Winds and Wiz Kid

I don’t know enough about these two to give them a true ranking so they get this neutral spot, but from the images above I’d say they are a pretty sweet couple. And Being LGBT, I always love representation in tv shows.

#6:  Timber Spruce and Sci-Twi

Sci-Twi was never meant for Flash Sentry, and I’m glad they did not get together, but Timber and Sci-Twi is a different story. He was so sweet to her, and there chemistry seemed natural, and he actually asked her out, something Flash never did, that and the almost kiss. This Twilights reaction to having a crush is different from Princess Twilights, and I love how well she gets along with him. The only reason they are not higher is because he was covering for his sister who planned on doing dangerous and illegal things. That and she’s in high school and he is an unmentioned amount years older who seems to have done this camp at least once before so it could be anywhere from a year difference to six.

#5: Yona and Sandbar

Oh my god, they are so cute. The episode that first shows hints of a romance between these two is also one of my favourites because Yona is worried that the Pony’s attending the dance (aka Sand Bar who is the one who invited her) will judge her because she does not look, act, or dance like a pony(because she’s a Yak) and she tries to make herself more pony only to make a fool of herself and mess up the dance. However when she runs off Sandbar finds her and comforts her and tells her that he liked her for being herself and that he doesn’t care that she is a yak. He than asks her back to the dance where they spend the rest of the night together. Also they are seen holding hoofs in the big fight at the end, and are seeming living together at  Carousel Boutique.

#4: Hoofbeard and Jewel 

If you didn’t read the IDW comics you would never know these two, but the mane six go on an adventure with Captain Hoofbeard and try and find his treasured Jewel, but the X on the map keeps moving, in the end its revealed that Jewel isn’t a gem, but a seapony and an old girlfriend of Hoofbeard. He confesses that he still loves her and wishes they could be together but knows that she breaths water and he breaths air, but Twilight uses a spell that gives him gills and some fins. He traveled the ocean, like how Cranky Donkey traveled the land, to find his love again, and faced many dangers to do so.

#3:  Fluttershy and Discord

I always thought these two should stay friends, especially considering he’s immortal ad she isn’t, but in the later seasons it was impossible to deny the romance forming between the two. Discord loves Fluttershy and gets giddy anytime he thinks about her and has pictures of her, and they have tea parties(dates) every week. For Fluttershy she knows Discord like the back of her hoof and is deeply hurt when he sort of betrays the group in the finally, but before that Angel(her bunny who knows everything about her) while in Fluttershy’s body stated how it was Fluttershy’s wish to MARRY DISCORD. In the finally Discord drops Fluttershy at Twilights and gives her a lunch, implying that they live together and during Fluttershy’s part of the song The Magic Of Friendship Grows, as she sings the line, “And because the love that I feel, For every single living creature is something that is real , Friendship happens so naturally ” Discord comes out of a portal and they stare at each other and se extends her wing out to him as he flies just off screen. #2:  Flash sentry and Sunset Shimmer

Here’s where the bias comes in. In the first film its said how these two used to be a couple but that they broke up not long before the series because of how bad she used to be, and than its never mentioned again until Everfree where Flash and Sunset have a momment where they confide in each other because they still know each other in ways the other main characters don’t know her. Flash even asks her if she’d like to start over, than awkwardly adds the friends part but its obvious hw they look at each other that there is still a spark there and it will most likely be rekindled soon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VI5lTaUahfU

#1:  King Sombra and Princess Celestia

This was the Romeo and Juliet is Romeo and Juliet where literally from other worlds and actually loved each other. This comic pulled at my heartstrings so much that I could never look at Sombra in the TV show the same way again. In this four part series its revealed that before Luna even became Nightmare moon Celestia had been visiting this other Equestria where its ruled by a kind Sombra and the two fell in love and have secretly been visiting each other on and off since. But there travels is ripping the barrier between the two world apart so they can’t see each other as often. In the end Sombra restores the barrier, saving both there worlds, by sacrificing himself by absorbing the evil of the alternate versions of Luna and Celestia, becoming just like Sombra in Celestia’s world. His final act is telling Celestia to leave him(So he won’t do anything he’d regret to her) than on the final page Celestia alone says how much she still loves him, and in his own dimension, despite being evil, admits how he still loves her as well. In the end they are never allowed to see each other again, but there love still transcends dimensional boarders.
