liv…. i eat up your dialogue EVERY TIME like a crazy person.. if you post smth for someone i dont go here for, i read it just because 🤍 i 🤍 love 🤍 your 🤍 writing 🤍 but that being said……. i must know the details of the canonverse levi wip you posted. what did erwin do! what was levi and r’s relationship! how!!!!
if you're genuinely interested, i really don't mind telling u what the plot is because i will quite literally never post it. it was the first fic i ever wrote for any anime, and i hadn't even gotten very far into the actual show at the point of writing—so while some aspects are (tenuously) canon-compliant, there are also many very clear ways in which it is not.
so, to reduce that terrible levi x reader fic (it's so bad and i MEAN that!!) down to its barest bones, start to finish:
[WARNING: THERE IS AN ENTIRE FIC SUMMARIZED UNDER THIS READ MORE AND IT IS MULTIPLE THOUSANDS OF WORDS LONG. THEMES INCLUDE: DUBCON, CANON CHARACTER DEATH, VAGUELY MISOGYNISTIC TONES, AND EVERY SINGLE CRINGE-Y FANFIC CLICHE U CAN IMAGINE. BYE.]
at the point where the fic opens, reader is a young, low-ranking soldier in the survey corps on her way to mitras with levi and erwin to attend a small gala being hosted by a very wealthy family that they're petitioning (effectively wooing) to provide funding for the corps
the reason reader is asked to come along is because she comes from a very good family in mitras and is connected to the "high society" folk—though never explicitly stated, erwin very much intends to use her and her social graces as a sort of poster child and mouthpiece for the corps, in hopes that she can charm ppl and help them gain favour to accomplish their goal
all things considered, reader was very privileged growing up and had as comfortable/luxurious of a life as anyone (at least anyone in paradis) could possibly hope to have. her family is aristocracy/noble and comes from a long line of "wealth." her father is a doctor who consults with the military in a high ranking capacity—though he's never actively been a soldier, and it's largely just a cushy job where he doesn't do much actual grunt work, just gets consulted on things and sits on boards or whatever
reader graduated from school and enlisted in the military when she came of age—to the shock and horror of her family (especially her mother) and their noble peers. but she felt an impetus to do something with her life that wasn't just sit around docilely and look pretty until eventually her father handed her over to an advantageous husband and she went from daughter to wife and surely then eventually mother—while never actually having any agency or choice for herself
because reader was well-educated from childhood, she did well academically at the cadet academy, and because she grew up in a comfortable home she is physically very competent as well (though truthfully her skill as a soldier is often very OP and cringey to read back now... but it was my first fic! sue me!)
levi and reader don't interact much in the corps (as he's not her squad leader) but when they do they're constantly at odds—he thinks less of her as a result of her silver spoon upbringing, and while she doesn't dislike him, per se, she definitely resents his treatment of her
on the trip to mitras (alongside a very uncomfortable homecoming to her estranged family's home with two men who are effectively her bosses) they attend the gala/banquet and it's revealed that the family hosting it is the most wealthy in mitras (save for the royal family, though they're sort of unofficially considered the second-in-command) who reader is very familiar with—they have a son her age, and a few daughters slightly younger, who she grew up close to (i made all these characters up btw.... first fic liv was rly going wild)
the son from this family was always sort of sweet on reader growing up, and they have a vaguely romantic history in their teens (before reader enlisted.) reader very quickly surmises that she was brought along (or at the very least is able) to possibly sway the son in their favour, as the eldest and heir to this family's fortune, who would in turn convince the father to support the corps
the son (his name is adam btw. if anyone cares? lmao) is actually very sweet, and earnestly cares for her. he's just blinded by his own affluence to a lot of realities—like most extremely wealthy people are
reader is a good soldier and she's cunning, and she knows that what she's doing is ethically/morally questionable but in the interest of the greater good she goes along with some flirtation/manipulation for the cause
the story progresses and reader continues her work in the military, but the heir from this family is clearly infatuated with her and he (and his father/family by extension) begin implicating themselves more heavily with the military as an excuse to see her/spend time with her/etc though of course it's all under the guise of official business
so it's like the life she fled is bleeding into the one she built for herself, and it's stark juxtaposition becomes very clear in those instances where they overlap and she's forced to juggle them both
she just wants to be a soldier and do good. erwin is (in so many words) pressuring her to do her part and keep up the charade. levi is watching this all unfold from the wings and starts to feel some genuine sympathy for her
lots of very dramatic things happen, yadda yadda yadda. levi grows less hostile over time, and reader becomes closer to him. she's always respected him and that grows into something mutual. there's a lot of unspoken tension brewing between them
it's revealed that reader threw her cadet exam results so that she wouldn't be in the top of her class, and therefore couldn't become an MP and had to join either the garrison or the scouts. she did it intentionally (erwin knew and used this to his advantage) so that her family wouldn't be able to force her back to mitras. when levi realizes what erwin did/knew and how he used it to his own advantage it really upsets him, because he's basically pimping reader out for the betterment of the survey corps. this is the first time you really see levi get angry about the way she's being used (and you can infer in this moment that he maybe cares about her a bit)
more dramatic stuff happens!
the story culminates in the reveal that the son is planning to ask for reader's hand in marriage. her own family has already agreed. part of the financial agreement the powerful family has made with the survey corps is that reader will effectively be retired once she marries (and transferred to a clerical role with the MPs. desk work, basically. fake work, for all intents and purposes, because the position was made up just for her)
reader goes to erwin, understandably extremely distraught when she finds out, and begs him to stop it from happening. she doesn't really care about getting married, but she doesn't want to leave the scouts. he effectively (though not explicitly/in these particular words) implies that maybe if she fucks her "fiance" he'll be more open to compromise and let her stay in the corps
she does it, but unsurprisingly loverboy is not about to let the woman he's obsessed with (who he has now officially boned lmao) go back to risking her life every day in the military, and it's almost immediately revealed that her plan didn't work at all
(erwin pretty much knew the whole time it wasn't going to work. bastard.)
reader feels betrayed and helpless. she goes to levi the night before she's set to leave—who basically is like "uhhhh i told you so??" upon finding out what's happened—and they end up sleeping together anyway in a very emotionally fraught and vulnerable moment
she leaves the next day
a timeskip happens. turns out that the ENTIRETY of the wealthy family was killed in the attack in mitras (like between annie and eren's titans i think? don't remember what season that is. a lot of ppl get smooshed in a church. they were there.)
but reader had already been married into the family. she wasn't in the church and inherited the entirety of their wealth as the sole surviving family member.
she was also.... pregnant :) (of course she was! this fic hits every trope and bad fanfic cliche! maybe it's twins!)
levi is back in mitras years (??) later (listen.... i didn't know where the hell the canon storyline of this manga was going at the time so FORGIVE ME for the fact that obviously this is not canon compliant l m a o)
reader has become sort of a recluse since everything happened in mitras, but having inherited the wealth she's become a key figure politically and particularly with respect to the military because of her influence as a donor.
levi tracks her down to this surprisingly humble property on the outskirts of town.
there's a little boy playing in the yard. no more than four or five. he has dark hair and slate grey eyes. levi looks at this child and sees his mother's face.
the little boy speaks to him but levi is (understandably) very confused and disoriented. reader comes outside and is shocked to see levi there. like she's seeing a ghost.
reader tells the little boy to come to her and scoops him up in her arms, and she quietly reminds him (his name is Teddy btw... short for Theodore) that he's not supposed to talk to strangers.
and Teddy leans in real close and says "but mama... he has your wings" because Levi is wearing his survey corps uniform with the insignia on them. you've kept your own patch (a parting gift from erwin when he sold you off... how thoughtful) and treasure it.
all of which is to say that basically Levi is the kid's father, but because reader was already married when her pregnancy was discovered and the timeline still checked out—so no one ever questioned the paternity (especially because she was a WIDOW by the time she gave birth.)
teddy is now the "legitimate" heir to the entire fortune that was left by reader's husband/his family, but until he comes of age it's reader's to manage, so she can provide a safe home for him to grow up in—though notably removed from the society that she was raised in.
it's heavily implied (though not actually confessed) that reader and levi have been in love with each other for all these years, and there's a kind of optimism about what future is ahead for them now that their paths have crossed again. (present day canon-knowing liv is laughing at this part in particular.)
the end.
#liv got mail#for all that is good and FUCKING merciful if u make it through this thank you and i'm sorry#WIP#<- that tag feels bad and wrong here but oh well#hiding in the tags to talk abt this wip more hope that's ok lmao#the hard part is that i think there are some aspects of this story that ARE good and many that COULD HAVE BEEN good (but aren't)#adam's character in particular is very interesting to look at bc he's very morally grey#reader struggling against her circumstances is compelling bc her wealth turns the conventions of that narrative on its head#levi reckoning with his own prejudices!#erwin being kind of evil!#reader being of age when she joined the cadets and therefore older than the rest +#now occupying a kind of big sister role to the others after living all her life as an only child!#yeah... anyway

Hello! Is there any official arts where Levi is drinking? Does Levi even drink alchocol?.. Please, would you help me to clear that fact?
Thank you!!
There are indeed! This is one of my all time favourite pieces of official Eruri art. It's from the old 3DS game, and the text that went with it as translated by @oscarforjm.

The New Joiner Welcoming Party
The time is before the 57th expedition. Erwin is hosting a welcoming party for the new Survey Squad joiners (i.e. 104th). Erwin does not join the party and sits somewhere away from the crowds drinking alone because he thinks the kids cannot really relax if he is also in the party. Levi finds him.
Erwin “In order to save human race, I will have to send these new kids to death”
Levi “To me, as long as titans are being killed, it’s fine. You know about it right?” (Note: Levi is trying to comfort Erwin saying that Erwin is not doing something evil and he wants to re-confirm Erwin that he will never deny Erwin’s choice :)
Erwin “Yes……………I totally rely on you, Levi”
Levi “Huh……………..are you drunk?”
Erwin “……………………..may be I am”
You can also see Levi drinking in the manga in chapter 72 and again in a flashback to the same night in chapter 130.
Levi also appears to be drinking some kind of alcohol in this visual for the official Shingeki FLY Afterparty event.

In terms of Levi's alcohol tolerance, there was an article in Kodansha's FRaU magazine back in 2014, which included an interview and Q&A with Isayama. @fuku-shuu posted a partial translation from the Chinese:
Q: Captain Levi loves his tea, but does he drink alcohol? What about other characters like Hanji, Moblit, Erwin on the veterans’ side? Who has the highest tolerance? A: Levi can handle his drink, but the unfortunate Moblit drinks the most.
Before leaving this topic, I'm also going to include this one just for funsies. Please enjoy Levi getting hammered with Rascal the Raccoon.

Part 3 of the Railway Investigations Voice Drama
This is the best so far! I had so much fun reading the translated text on Google translate.
It started with Hange getting excited (again) by the view at the observation deck where she pointed out where they had been earlier. Then Levi nagged at her to be quiet because they are in a room and the sound gets amplified.
Of course Hange had to ignore him and start to look at the vastness from the observation deck, exclaiming how small the things are. Then she saw ships coming out of the dock and Levi said it is on course to/ from the station.
Levi then said that he noticed some rivers around the station and wondered why the river level and sea level are not the same.
Hange gave her evil laugh 😏and explained that the rivers are actually waterways channeled from the sea. The watergates control the levels to provide direction of water flow.
After quite a detailed explanation on how the seawater is channeled into the waterway, Levi then said he had been wondering why the water levels are different and conclude it is to provide a means of transportation for the ships, not just road. (Now I realised when he said "iron" here and in the previous videos, he was likely referring to the cars and ships). Then he talked about investigating water transportation.
Hange then attempted to blabbering about the watergates but was shut off by Levi
"Wait". His ear is painful from her blabbering earlier on. 😣. Hange then said she cant help it cos she gets so good at talking about technology.
🚨Levihan alert! 🚨
So then Hange spotted a ship coming out and pointed to Levi that it is a cruise ship, explained it transport people.
Levi then said it is still iron (like cars transporting people on land😆). He then question why people want to take cruise ship when it is so slow.
Hange then explained that their way of understanding how things should be had always been about efficiency, that they dont focus on things. Like not realising the daily small things, change landscapes, history cultures etc. That the reason to bother taking a railway or slow ship is to have a good time with people important to them. And that is something she can afford in peaceful times.
And then she asked Levi if that is a wonderful idea.
And Levi said it is a naive, happy ideal world aka he agreed. Hange reiterated her wish for peace and proceed on the information processing for the expedition, and kind of bring back the whole interaction to "that is also the role of the Scouts- fight for peace"

Then a little awkward pause and Hange said it is time to gather at Nagoya castle. Then Levi started to complain how Hange had shopped and bought so many things knowingly but somehow he is the one ended up having to carry the baggage. And he asked Hange "why is that so😒"
And Hange, being the spoilt rascal wifey, decided to run away first. 😏
And Levi can only lament that she is a blessed one (we know what he means by that, eh😍)
-------------
I just love the second half because it confirmed for me 2 things
1) in the anime, when Levi had his monologue before killing Zeke, I am now more assured that he is indeed talking to Hange. Because of the naive, happy ideal world of peace both of them talked about.
And before Hange talked about that world where she can be at peace, hanging out having a good time with important people, it was like the both of them crafting out their future lives without Titans/ in a peaceful world.

2) Second, this scene in the anime has so much meaning now as he looked at her on the ship.

It is not remembering Erwin in Hange, but seeing and learning about Hange, her ambitions and aspirations and what she sees. In Part 2, he kept asking Hange what she wanted to see besides the railway and this, I feel, is so important because Levi is also trying to overcome the burden he probably felt he had given her by giving Armin the injection. (My guess).

Just the 2 of them having a good time on a slow cruise ship

What could be the reasons for Hange's death?

I’m not best at doing these analysis posts, but I’ve had this in my mind for a while now and it needs to get out.
As a sort-of writer, I know there’s always reasons to kill off a character, especially if they're well-developed and play a crucial part in the story. So what could’ve gone through Isayama’s mind when he decided to kill our precious Hange? Here’s what I think.
First of all, reading the manga I really felt like her death was forced, staged. It didn't seem right, didn't seem to fit. Now I don’t know if the rest of you felt this way but I sure did. And that's why I'm gonna talk about why I think Isayama killed her.
There are four points in this post and each explains a potential reason:
1. To make the readers cry
And who do we know that holds nearly all these characteristics, and died?
Many characters are killed just to give a truck load of emotional damage to the readers. And sometimes authors enjoy it — don’t get me wrong, we love the characters, it’s just what even is a good story if devastated readers aren’t sending you death threats for killing their fav fictional character? Such characters often possess some or all of these qualities: Lovable, witty, humorous, determined, has big goals/dreams, you get attached to them easily and if they have a love interest that you’re invested in, and they both got plans to *ahem* live peacefully once a certain war is out of the list of duties, it’s over for you (IFKK 😭).
Maybe Yams was in killer mood the day he wrote chapter 132. I wonder if he’s doing the evil laugh somewhere, thinking how we’re suffering every day.
2. It’s crucial to the plot
These kinds of deaths aren’t in the author’s hand, and they really hurt us sometimes. I have a few characters very close to my heart and I hope I never have to put them to death cuz I may not have the willpower to write ahead if I do. It happens when you get dead-ends (yes you can get dead-ends even in fiction as well, at least that’s what I think because the setting or world you create has to have some limits), when the rules you have set up to make that world start to cage you in. And sometimes there’s no option but to kill them. Their death is important, it’s a key point, or maybe it’s part of what their personality demands. It’s needed, and it hurts.
But coming to Hange, I can safely say that’s not the case. Her death could’ve been avoided. In the manga she barely managed to get much time. Yes the plane made it, but it’s Hange we’re talking about and she has a big brain. She could’ve made a less harmful plan to stop the Colossal titans right there, I don’t doubt her intelligence at all. Or someone could’ve helped. The part about titan shifters saving their strength was a flimsy excuse Isayama, cuz taking out a Colossal isn't such a back-breaking task for the Shifters - they’ve had worse and done better.
3. Some other character needs to take the spotlight
This happens when our character is in the way of someone else’s glory. They need to be taken off the stage so the next one comes up.
For Hange I’d say, that was Armin. I think Isayama might have wanted to give the stuttering blonde kid a glow-up, and I gotta say it worked well. I’ve seen countless posts where Armin back then and as commander is compared and people are like, ha! Y’all used to laugh at him cuz he was a timid, scared little thing but look at him now, Commander of the scouts and such.

I’ve seen him get a lot of hate for not being strong enough, not being confident and such things. So what does Isayama do? He takes that character and upgrades him to Commander. I think he’s wanted to do this for a long time, to show just how much potential the kid has, and take it as a character development. He was chosen over Erwin and then Hange. He couldn’t be Commander after Shiganshina cuz Hange was named successor. He got his chance in ch 132 and took it. The only way to make Armin Commander was to kill Hange and so we had to part with the crazy genius we loved. (I don't hate Armin though, it's Isayama's fault not Armin's)
But here’s the thing, she could’ve still come back. Battered and bruised, and Armin would still be Commander as the title was already handed over. Then why go all the way and kill her? Here’s why.
4. External reasons
This and the 3rd point, In my opinion, are the main reasons for Hange’s death.
The external factors here include her relationship with Levi. The man has a HUGE fanbase and he’s shipped (and shippable) with so many characters it’s concerning. And the most popular ships are Ereri (this one doesn’t even make sense) and Eruri. As a character that’s so popular among fans, I don’t think Isayama wanted to confirm anything related to his love life as that would only create rifts among fans or even drop his popularity. By keeping it vague he kept the fanbase up. But what has Hange living got to do with it?
Well, we all heard her ‘Let’s live here together’ confession. It’s probably the most romantic thing anybody said to Levi canonically and no one can deny it gives hints. Then comes Levi's double meaning statement of ‘Unrequited titan love’ and I’d say that pretty much sealed the deal. ‘Devote your heart’ was the cherry on top and now if Hange returned they both would be so canon.

But for the sake of argument, let’s say all of that meant nothing romantic. But if Hange’s still alive we all know she’d never leave Levi alone in his impaired state after the war. She’d be the one pushing his wheelchair around and since they’re already veterans and very close friends, Levi would only tolerate having her around him at all times. So if someone’s gonna say that all of those ‘confessions’ meant nothing, then these facts are proof enough that after the war Levihan had all the chance of being canon. So if Hange had lived these two would have been a sealed deal - but that isn’t possible in reality due to Levi’s popularity.

So, Hange dies and Isayama avoids a ton of mess for himself.
All of this is entirely my take on breaking down my fav character’s death, not saying it’s 100% legit. Just a harmless analysis.

I have little to no idea who thrawn is but tell me what makes you insane about him
Huzzah! Someone wants to play toys with me! I will try to keep this brief.
Who is Grand Admiral Thrawn: a major villain who made his debut in Timothy Zahns original Thrawn trilogy (Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising, and The Last Command) and his television debut in season 3 of Star Wars: Rebels. Thanks to Disney the original thrawn trilogy has been decanonized along with the rest of the extended universe, but Zahn has continued to write new canon trilogies for his blorbo, Thrawn Ascendancy (Chaos Rising, Greater Good, Lesser Evil) and The Imperial Trilogy (Thrawn, Thrawn: Alliances, Thrawn: Treason). Outbound Flight is a dubiously noncanon book that serves as possibly the earliest dated prequel to all of these books, I say "dubiously noncanon" because even though Disney has decanonized the extended universe that came before, the events of Outbound Flight continue to have a major impact on the canon events of these books.
Anyway Thrawn (full name Mitth'raw'nuruodo, they all have weird names like that) is the smartest man the Empire has, and the only alien. They found him when he was running wild on a distant planet as an exiled hermit, cut his hair to make him look "civilized", and then sent him to redo college (middle aged man btw) so he could formally join the military. This harrowing experience didn't stop him from becoming an Admiral in only twelve years and then Grand Admiral. He's scary smart and just scary in general, and all of his coworkers despise him but his employees love him and will follow him wherever he goes. He's very good with fleets, numbers, and military assets, but absolute shit at politics, and his knowledge of people and social connection leaves much to be desired. His main gimmick: art! He has an uncanny ability to look at any kind of artwork and calculate how to defeat its artists. This basically works on individual artists or entire cultures. Okay fine so why do i like him so much?
Short answer: i kind of hate him but pray to him like the patron saint of weird autistic freaks
Long answer:
He's Basically Autistic
So like. Grand Admiral Thrawn. In the behind the scenes creation of this character, Zahn based him off a lot of guys like Robert E Lee, Alexander the Great, Erwin Romnel, Hannibal Barca, and... Sherlock Holmes. Is that convincing enough for you. Anyway, this guy is autistic. Full-stop. Many times I've wondered how the Hell Zahn managed to nail the autistic experience because either HES autistic or he has the fucking Ghost of Autism Past sitting on his shoulder while he writes because the way his trilogies bleed autism is uncanny. In the Ascendancy trilogy we meet Thrawn as roughly middle aged with several flashbacks to his early teen and young adult life. Here is a post summarizing some of the most autistic things said by or about him in Chaos Rising alone.
When he's being generally a weirdo in his canon television appearances and the original thrawn trilogy, you can at least excuse that by saying "yeah but he's an alien of course he's a bit odd" except for the entirety the Ascendancy trilogy he is among his OWN people and they still think he's a freak. The most damning category 5 Autism Event is probably when he promised to take his tutor Ziara "out" and she assumed that he would take her on a dinner date or to the club, but instead he brought her to an ART GALLERY because he thought everyone else enjoyed art as much as he did. Basically Ziara had to spend the night following this nerd around and listening to him talk about sculptures, but their relationship thrived and she became one of his bestest friends. Thrawn is obsessed with art when he's not busy crushing armies and pissing people off, and even before he learned to use his special interest for military advantage he gravitated towards it like a moth. It's very easy for him to commit a minor faux pas or sound rude without meaning to, even though he's wonderfully sarcastic he doesn't really grasp sarcasm in other people. He is also extremely politically inept.
Only he would never master it, she knew. Just as some were tone-deaf to music, Thrawn was tone-deaf to the nuances and intricate self-serving dances that made up the world of politics.
She could only hope that he and his overseers would be astute enough to keep him in the military arena. There, and only there, would he be of genuine and lasting value to the Ascendancy.
Oh boy, these two paragraphs are load-bearing. He does not Get politics, and he cannot Get politics because he doesn't Get people. Sure, he can extrapolate feelings and values from someone's art, but that is different from understanding how social connection works. This leads to his downfall in the old trilogy and gets him in trouble several times in canon. I'll touch on Ar'alanis remark about how he's only useful in the military, but this and most of my other points are connected to the fundamental alienation that comes from his autism in some way. Throughout the Thrawn trilogy and the Ascendancy trilogy, Thrawns pov is never shown. In the original books Zahn didn't want to write his pov because he thought an alien perspective would be too difficult to read, so he created the character Pellaeon to be his Watson. But as I mentioned before, the characters in Ascendancy are ENTIRELY aliens, yet we never get a look into Thrawns mind, which serves to isolate him further.
In fact, the only times we ever see Thrawns thoughts are in the Imperial Trilogy.
"Why do you seek high rank?"
It was a question many had asked over the years. Thrawn had asked it of himself. The answer never seemed to satisfy the questioner. "Because there are problems that must be solved. Some cannot be solved by anyone except me."
"I see." Vanto was silent a moment. "Senior Lieutenant Hammerly was able to stall them for a bit by telling them you were consulting with the local chief. But they expect you to call back."
"Of course." Thrawn said. "I will do so immediately."
"What will you tell them?"
"The truth."
Vanto had now asked the question. He was no more satisfied than anyone who had come before him.
Thrawn wondered if anyone would ever be satisfied. Or if they would ever understand.
CONTEXT: this is after Thrawn burns down civilian farmland, which is hilarious. But there is a lot to unpack here, namely the fact that Thrawn is not oblivious to how alone he is, he KNOWS that nobody really gets him but he keeps on the grind because to him, he's the ONLY ONE who can fix some things. Oh boy. There's a lot I could say but it's pretty nicely summarized in the above quote. Thrawn has the kind of autism that has been distorted through forty years of believing that he has no value unless he can put himself to use and that all of his strengths had to be twisted and sharpened for military gain and all of his weaknesses had to be crushed for the good of the Ascendancy. I dont think it registers to him how harmful this is or that he even laments what his life has become, he sees himself in his role as a destroying angel that makes the most of his abilities by crushing anything that stands in opposition to his employers, always an angel never a God et cetera. Thrawn is so obviously autistic it hurts.
2. He's a Bitch
I didn't want to attribute this to autism, obviously not all autistic people are like Thrawn, but he's an asshole and it's delightful. From the Imperial Trilogy onwards he's a stranger in a strange land where no one's seen anything like him and everyone's super racist, so I think it's funny that the natural stress of repeating Imperial college and working for space wizards seems to have hardened him into a guy who will purposely taunt DARTH VADER and bully Hera about her dead little brother. He's smarter than all of his idiot bosses and knows it. He'll shoot a teenager in the back. He'll press a man into suicide. His mean streak was much less pronounced in the Ascendancy, but at least in the Ascendancy he was among friends. There is a slow and gradual shift in his worldview between the two trilogies, from him earnestly wanting to preserve a cultures artwork so that some part of them will live on to him destroying entire peoples and stealing their shit like a fucked up British Museum. In Lesser Evil he condemns a warlords manifest destiny, but by the time he's Admiral he's happily upholding space imperialism.
3. He Has Friends (Shocking I Know)
No really. Some of the most interesting things about thrawn are the people he surrounds himself by, which for some reason are mostly women. As a student he imprinted on Ar'alani, and they've been best friends ever since, and he frequently defers to her and asks her advice. Thalias as his guardian angel, Karyn as his sidekick, Pryce as the fucked up bane of his existence, et cetera. I think this is because the loss of his older sister at a very young age caused him to have a huge gap in his development, the loss of his sister really cut him up and he gravitated towards Ar'alani as a kind of sister figure. Zahns whole shtick for this character was that he had to be someone who people were willingly loyal to and who elevated his friends. Eli is the best example of this since Thrawn sort of pushes him to be the best he can be until they're basically equals. Since his older sister was taken and his older brother died i imagine he's never quite been able to replicate that, but he had to learn how to gain allies
4. Loyal to the Point of Self Destructive
Like I said this guy basically views himself as a sword first and a person second, even though the Ascendancy hates him and thinks he's a loose cannon he will not stop fighting for them no matter the cost. He was taken by the military as a teenager (?) and has made it his entire personality. Who knows if he would have gotten himself out of the Empire after Palpatine promised to (HEAVILY implied) murder him if it wasn't for Ezra kidnapping him. His own people EXILED him and he still won't quit.
5. He Can Never Go Home
At this point in his canon timeline thrawn is in a very scary position. He only wanted to be away from home for a year at most but his work in the Empire has taken up his entire life to the point where he hasn't seen a single member of his own species for years. The last time he saw Ar'alani she implied that soon there may not be an Ascendancy to return to because of the conflicts in the Unknown Regions. Of COURSE he's going to throw himself more intensely into restoring the Empire, he needs to build something that will last. But since Lesser Evil there has not been an update on the state of things since Thrawn left, and with the direction star wars is taking its a very real possibility that he will never go home, never see his sister, never see his friends, and that all the awful shit he did for the "good of the Ascendancy" was for nothing

Hi! I'm looking for a game in the space opera genre, and I'd love some suggestions. More specifically, I'm trying to find something that's pretty easily customizable or setting-agnostic. Pretty soft as far as sci-fi is concerned, even science fantasy. (And my players have a very brief attention span when it comes to learning rules, so some degree of simplicity would be appreciated, too, haha!)
For context, I have a friend who loves worldbuilding and has fleshed out a whole galaxy, and I want to run a one-shot set in his world for his birthday. In the past, we've tried using a homebrew amalgamation of D&D, SW5e, and miscellaneous other bits, but I want to find a system that fits a bit better.
Thanks for the help! 😁
Theme: Simple Space Operas.
Hello friend, this sounds like such an awesome idea! I think I’ve got a few pretty good options for you to take a look at. Many of these games pull from Star Wars as their idea of what a space opera is like, but not all of them do. Also, don't forget to check the bottom of the post to see what I've recommended in the past!
Laser-Ritter, by Bad Quail Games.
Laser-Ritter is an analog adventure game about swashbuckling heroes journeying among endless stars to embrace their destiny. There are rendezvous in hazy tap rooms, chases across distant moons, and showdowns with the forces of galactic evil. We play to find out how our Laser-Ritters follow their passions and face their pasts to triumph over adversity.
Laser-Ritter gives space for you to create your own saga. There's no burdensome timeline of canon events or overwhelming lists of characters, spaceships, and alien species to be contradicted. Every group begins their saga by creating their own dramatic title crawl to establish what's happening when the adventure begins!
This is a game all about embracing your destiny, with plenty of space to build your own universe. The game can be played episodically, or cover a long-spanning story over a series of sessions. This means that if you just want to run a one-shot, it can be pretty easily self-contained, but there’s also room to expand the game.
Players in this game have 4 stats and a health track labelled Vitality. You also have something called a Pathos track, which represents how attrition and trauma affect your character. If you fill your Pathos track, your character becomes vulnerable to dying. If you want a game with dramatic action and tragic scenes, Laser-Ritter might be for you.
Galaxy Goons and A Goons’ Guide to the Galaxy, by John Erwin.
Galaxy Goons is a space fantasy adventure hack of the Ennies-award winning Tunnel Goons. If you want a light-hearted game about rascals just trying to make their way in the universe, this is worth checking out. Tunnel Goons is known for being pretty light-weight, and Galaxy Goons is true to this legacy. Your characters are rolled randomly, with stats used to add onto dice rolls to try and beat a difficulty level.
A Goon’s Guide to the Galaxy is made for the same kind of setting, but uses a different set of rules, namely the 24XX SRD. This means that instead of just rolling d6’s, your characters will have a few things that they have a d8 or d10 for, and there might even be a few skills that only allow you to roll a d4. 24XX games also tend to carry roll tables to help the GM come up with obstacles and goals, so that might help the GM decide what about this homemade galaxy might be interesting to follow.
Rebel Scum, by 9th Level Games.
REBEL SCUM tells the story of how scrappy, anti-fascist heroes can fight back against a government with unlimited power (including giant lasers and space magic). Inspired by a love for a certain line of 3 and 3/4 inch action figures, this is a fast paced, feel good, space opera of rebellion and adventure.
In this TTRPG, characters are all expressed as action figures, with their pertinent stats and abilities "on the back of the card." Choose your toy and get out into battle!
So Rebel Scum borrows very obviously from Star Wars, but of course the book can’t just put the game in the Star Wars setting, so they create their own. What this means is you can pretty easily throw out that lore and build your own world, although the expectation in this game is that your characters will be working to overthrow some sort of galaxy-wide power. The rules are very simple to learn - in fact the booklet is under 100 pages, and that’s including art, setting, and example characters. If you have a standard set of polyhedral dice (and I’m assuming you do, if you’ve played D&D) then you’ll be able to play this game.
Save the Universe, by Don Bisdorf.
Tyranny and cruelty have spread across the galaxy, and only you can stop it!
Save the Universe is a sci-fi adventure roleplaying game in which the players create their own great galactic menace and then portray the brave heroes battling against it.
I think the biggest pull for this game is that it encourages you to build your own galaxy. The game even comes with a number of questions for you to answer, and if you already have a world decided, you can slot in the answers according to your friend’s world. In fact, assigning world creation to one player is actually a recommended option in the game!
Even though this game is pretty open in terms of the details of your galaxy, there’s still an overarching theme of an Empire or large enemy that your characters will be resisting. Then again, I have a feeling that’s a common theme in space operas.
Plerion: Space Opera Adventure Game, by Zotiquest Games.
Intrepid spacers ply the vastness of the Five Galaxies in search of fortune and glory.
This is Plerion, a sci-fi hack from Cairn designed to play radiant space opera. Inspired by classic science fiction and the RPGs that emulate it, but with a more modern twist, winking at transhumanism and cyberpunk.
Plerion is an adventure game for one referee and at least one other player. Players act as hardened spacers exploring, exploiting and commerce through the vastness of space in the far future.
The author of this game cites Mass Effect, the Traveller roleplaying game and the Wayfarer series by Becky Chambers. Cairn, the game that inspired this one, is a game that makes survival difficult and daunting for the players, and asks them to put the fiction first. This means that combat shouldn’t always be the answer. Instead, players are encouraged to find ways to solve problems using their tools at hand, which is a common trend in many of the games that inspired this rule system.
What’s So Cool About Outer Space, by Jared Sinclair.
WSCAOS is a tiny little system for going to space no matter where you are!
This is an incredibly tiny game, with just two pages to print out and use as a rules reference in any galaxy you like. It’s also the parent of a number of “What’s So Cool About" games that use the same philosophy - minimal rules, and plenty of agency left up to the group in terms of what possible backstories you might have, as well as what might be considered an advantage and what might not.
No-one Owns The Sky, by Free Radicals Press.
A band of misfits lives aboard a rundown starship, traveling from one frontier world to the next, hoping to make a name and a living for themselves. Along the way, things always seem to go sideways, but the crew holds on, no matter what.
NO ONE OWNS THE SKY is a sci-fi roleplaying game that is rules-light and relies on players to craft and flesh out the universe of the setting as a collective. This game was designed for two or more players. One player is always the referee (REF), a neutral arbiter and guiding force for the game. The others act and play as player characters (PCs). These players, with their REF and their PCs, will tell amazing, collective (and interactive) stories with the help of imagination, dice, roleplaying, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
This game uses a staggered success layout, which means that you could roll a failure, a success, or a mixed success during any given roll. Anything above a 5 is a success! It looks like the game uses more than just d6’s though, so the larger dice you roll, the higher your chances of succeeding. The setting is also up to the players, pretty good for folks who want to build their own galaxy.

My thoughts on Erwin Smith as a character (very badly elaborated, I fear) after reading again the Uprising Arc and RTS Arc
Been thinking and I don't believe he wanted to know if his father was right or not, because being killed by the government was an answer to this itself; he wanted to prove the "world" that his father was right therefore innocent, so his life was taken for nothing. It explains his mental state and the reason why he saw himself as a first class con man (Isym also describes him as a con man, so it was probably the true about his person) because you need to have insane manipulation skills and a very loose sense of attachment to ascend in a military hierarchy while keeping secret of something this heavy. It surprises no one how much of a mad man he was in his last months. This kind of guilty wouldn't scratch a second thought in a actual evil person but he was not evil at all. He was never flippant about the lives that died under his command; he single-handedly created the formation that cut human losses expedition after expedition, so the argument that he didn't cared about casualties does not stand for too long.
I think it's also never taken in consideration the setting where erwin was made commander: the reputation of the Survey Corps was in flames due Shadis bad admin + public outburst, Shadis was the first commander that left the chair before dies and in the day Erwin assumed, Wall Maria fell; short after, the government sent that mock expedition to "reclaim the wall" that was just population control and it was under his commandership but he didn't had a single say in this matter.
It was crucial to the Paradis rulers that the general public hated the scouts and saw them coming back every expedition dead and broken: it kept them compliant with living trapped within walls and every time someone questioned this (ex: Eren) was just use the scouts as an example of what happens when you venture outside the walls: you either get insane, broken or you die. The SC was part of the propaganda the government used to keep their population alienated and on a leash (also burning books, murder thinkers and revolutionaries; the conversation Kenny has with grandpa Ackerman where he says that they even killed their own to avoid questions on why existed diversity within people [implied in-walls genocide?])
Yes, he was a master manipulator, ruthless and a political genius, orchestrated a coup on his own with two or three allies, the man was brilliant through and through. But I think people get these traits and paint him as someone who slaughters and coerce and that's just not the truth. He was very honest with the adversities that the scouts faced it, from the casualties to the tight budget. Who did he coerced into staying? Erwin is portraited as someone who spent so much time lying to himself that he started to believe his own lies so they became his twisted truth. It was to prove his father, yes, but it wasn't for humanity too? Wouldn't humanity benefit of it? Wouldn't they all be as free as you can be? Wouldn't people stop to die over limited resources, Wouldn't the underground become pointless, Wouldn't land be available? Wouldn't humanity benefit?
Erwin was also a character created to serve a purpose in the story (a foil to the MC, a counterpart to the important captain, a political genius to establish the queen, a inspirational commander to follow, a reliable leader to expeditions, a good soldier when you need to see him fighting, a professional yapper when you need a speech) every appearance of his was very plot driven. He would be more of an inconvenience being alive, so he needed to go now he served his purpose: lead them to shinganshina. He was always meant to die in that roof. Having a presence that feels this large compromise a lot of the personhood of a character. More of a tool, less of a person. He was only humanised when people saw him through Levi's eyes (and this is not a "eruri" comment. See their relationship as soldiers, friends or lovers, the only time Erwin is human, it's when Levi decides to free him).
(On a side note: Erwin was extremely suicidal on his last months alive. He had little regard for his life and physical integrity, going as far as to say "I am replaceable" and "Use me as a bait". Of course, plot wise was crucial that he was present on Shinganshina, he needed to die and also the mission as it was projected would not succeed without him. His last speech, as a iconic as it is, sounds pretty much as a depressed person telling you life is meaningless. He recovers himself, barely, in the second part of said speech when he talks about the fallen comrades, even then, it's a man burdened by guilty talking. When he loses his arm, he doesn't allow himself the pain of it. His answer is that he deserves it.
Doesn't escapes me that in all the manga, almost every interaction Erwin has, people make sure to remark how evil he is, how ruthless and inhuman and cruel, for things he had absolutely no control over. Added with the guilt he already had since a child, his mind was in a state of decaying for decades when the main events of AOT happen.
It hurts more because (and I am aware that's an unpopular opinion) he had absolutely no fault on what happened to his father. Who gives knowledge that can get both of you killed to a child and doesn't even instruct them to keep it shut? His father failed him. He would be offended if people point this, tho. Pixys' reaction to his story shows a bit how outsiders react to it when he tells him.
The most heartbreaking line is when he smiles after Connie tells about his family (which wasn't right of him at all, but then again, he wasn't in his right mind) and Levi says he makes him sick and his answer is a sigh and a "I've been told this since I was a child". That man had such a twisted sense of self that he was miles away to even be considered a shell of a person.)
In a way, I'm glad his character ended as it did. I'm genuinely glad he never reached that cellar. The truth of it all was not only disappointing but cruel and staying alive he would be the one leading them into this unknown hell and the one burdening the blame for all these things out of his control. Prove his father right would be the most pyrric victory ever. As they say, thank you, Levi.
#become the alpha bro average anime symbol damaged his reputation even further#attack on titan#erwin smith#commander erwin#this was also posted on twitter days ago but i wrote more stuff in here because i had more days to think more things#and dont even let me start with all the “he sent kids to die!”#said kids joined the scouts by choice and the main requirement of that job was being willing to die on a titan mouth#so i dont know how this can be personally erwins fault#he was a child sent to die once too since he joined the military at the age of 12#creating the formation that decreased casualties apparently means nothing

they're different at the core and completely different character archetypes but there's a bit of overlap between erwin and tsurumi... both military leaders with a knack for strategy, manipulative, extremely intelligent, can read people well, charismatic (well, for erwin, in a way...), steel determination and refusal to back off, all traits i like in characters but the most important to me - willing to charge into the heat of the action and bloody their hands, putting their money where their mouths are. even as characters in a story they share the ambiguity with how self-involved they are in their own agenda, putting on a face fighting for the greater good vs having selfish personal reasons for using other people. honne vs tatemae brought up in the narrative itself, from the horses's mouth while at that LOL. with erwin it's complicated, with tsurumi it's beyond complicated though erwin is more of a human character than tsurumi which is funny because he barely feels like it. one charming but kind of irrelevant overlap is that they are both big gamblers and risk takers with their plans and actions, despite the lion share if them being calculated. both also had ambitions higher than their heads, and both had to sacrifice parts of themselves in their pursuit.
at their core they're different though, because tsurumi is intentionally rotten evil, and erwin is intentionally an unequivocal hero figure. even in the way they go about their schemes and plots is radically different, erwin is very intense and a bit creepy and charges head on, sure he has his internal conflict and the whole mountain of corpses and daddy-related guilt thing going on (complex character as one would expect), but otherwise he's rather rigid and stoic, you get what you see and you can't complain. tsurumi is fluid and slippery as an eel, he puts in the effort to be idolized, he's a military man so he has to show sternness but he's also created his eccentric sparkling persona. intense and creepy could apply to him too but in a different sense. though they both had moments where they intimidated creatures bigger and stronger than them (transformed reiner for erwin, a literal bear for tsurumi) by just staring at them. i guess what separates their textures to me is that erwin is very straightforward and direct in everything he does, while tsurumi is allergic to honesty and you have to fight for your life searching for kernels of non-ambiguity with his character. also erwin managed to die as his own person, while tsurumi was a theme until the very end.
i have a lot of personal affection for erwin while for tsurumi it's more the appreciation for the art, i'm not particularly fond of him (which is, again, a difficult feat because he's removed from the story as an individual). but since tsurumi has been my most recent obsession i keep comparing everything to him, even though erwin came waaaay before him lol
#snkposting#in a way...#i think they're supposed to be around the same age too#which you couldn't tell because erwin is defined by his youthful spirit while tsurumi is hag-coded as hell

What’s your opinion on Levi’s value of life and his compassion towards others/their right to live — is it indiscriminate? Or does he only believe “good” or “innocent” people deserve to live, while the violent and cold blooded murderers and criminals can die? I want to say it’s the latter, but if it is — how does he reconcile with the fact that most people aren’t wholly good or wholly evil? There are “good” people who have done evil actions, and there are “evil” people who have done good actions. If it’s it is the latter, what does he use to judge people as worthy of value, of his compassion, and deserving of life?
Well, I've talked pretty extensively on this very subject, so I'll try not to drone on here, haha.
I think Levi's general, natural inclination is just to save lives, whether those lives belong to "good" people or "bad", but of course, definitions of good and bad vary and we can get into a lot of complex grey areas talking about that.
But when I say Levi's natural inclination, I mean his knee jerk reaction. He saves people all the time that he doesn't know and who have even been hostile or unkind toward him. An example I like to give is in "No Regrets" when, during his first training run on the SC's titan course, he saves that one scout from impaling himself and dying on one of the titan dummy's. This same scout had only moments before endangered Levi's life by cutting him off mid-flight out of nothing but petty jealousy at Levi's skill. But Levi still saved him without a moments hesitation. Another good example of this is during the Uprising arc, when Levi is confronted by the merchants in Trost, and they're lambasting and laying into him, being incredibly rude and insulting toward him. Levi's got no reason to care about these people or be kind to them. But when the carriage comes barreling through the streets, heading for them, Levi's first instinct is to push the merchants out of the way so they don't get run over, and to later go well out of his way to help them solve the problem of their economic depression. We see the same thing happen in the RtS arc, when Mikasa has her sword to Levi's throat. When Floch tries to intervene because he thinks Erwin should have the serum, Mikasa loses it for a moment and goes at him, seemingly with the intention of either killing him or severely hurting him, and Levi tries to stop her. This is a really interesting moment, because Levi didn't show anywhere near this kind of desperation or panic when his own life was being threatened, but as soon as Mikasa went for Floch, Levi reared up and shouted at her to stop. He was trying to protect Floch, despite not knowing him. Or we see Levi's reaction in Marley, when Ramzi's life is being threatened. Levi just picks him up and runs, despite the kid just robbing them. Another example, again, is the kindness he shows that scout who, in his grief, endangered the whole group by going back for his dead comrades body, during the Female titan arc. This scout called Levi inhuman just before and accused him of being heartless. And Levi's response to that was to give him Petra's patch. So his natural instinct, just who he is naturally, is someone who protects others.
I think Levi will only kill someone who's either directly threatening him, or threatening the people he cares about and is responsible for. I don't think, in general, questions of good or bad or deserving come into Levi's mind. If someone is a threat, he'll take them out. But even, for example, with Zeke, Levi didn't want to kill him because he was a bad person, he wanted to kill him because it was what he felt was his duty to his fallen comrades, what he needed to do to ensure they didn't die in vain. They died so he could kill Zeke. So while undoubtedly Levi thought of Zeke as a bad person, and no doubt thought of him as deserving of death for his cruelty and apathy toward life, his motivation for wanting him dead had nothing to do with his personal feelings. Levi, out of every character in the story, has the most respect for life and its inherent value. He doesn't take killing lightly. He doesn't ever try to frame it as anything but what it is. He doesn't try to paint it in more flattering terms or throw it into some heroic light. I think Levi knows killing is a tragedy, but sometimes necessary to protect oneself and others. I always point out how Levi's understanding of death and killing stands in such stark contrast to Zeke's, who very deliberately tries to frame his own acts of violence and murder as something heroic. He uses more flattering terms to describe what he does, calling his slaughter of people "mercy", saying he's saving them from suffering, etc... He tries to redefine his actions as something good, rather than just accepting them for what they are. Levi would never call killing another human being "good", he would never try to paint it as something positive, and he would never try to paint himself as heroic for committing an act of violence or for killing. He knows it's a terrible thing. He understands the weight of a lost life, whether that loss comes by his own hands, or in some other way. A good example of that is his interaction with Hitch, during the Uprising arc, when she's criticizing him for all the lives lost in Trost during the attempt to capture Annie. She accuses Levi of thinking he's some sort of hero, expecting him to try and defend himself and the SC for the disaster of that operation. But Levi doesn't. He only accepts her criticism and says "I know". He doesn't try to frame what happened as good or even necessary. He accepts it as terrible.
Levi has too much respect for life to ever consider the loss of it good, whether it's the loss of a good person or a bad.
Levi himself would, I think, fall into this category of a good person who does "bad" things. I've written a lot about that too. He's very violent at times, and a lot of the time, his first reaction to a problem is to use violence, because that's how he grew up and it's what he knows. But his violence doesn't define him and doesn't accurately express who he really is, which is an extremely kindhearted and compassionate man. As Dimo Reeves describes him, "awkward but kind". That's Levi. He isn't good at socializing, he isn't charming, he doesn't really know how to woo or entice. His first instinct is to become physical when things aren't going the way he wants or needs them to. But at his core, he's pure of heart and intention and only wants to help others.
So, yeah, I don't think questions of who does and doesn't deserve his help ever really comes into Levi's mind. He just helps people, good and bad. That's just who he is. And really, in the end, that's what makes him a hero.

WE’RE AT THE FINALEEEE 💃🏾🤍 VACATION TIME! (I better see Erwin naked on a beach and covered in body oil or I’m gonna stop reading)
Your world building is very creative. It’s not the aot world, not 100% our world, but your own world that incorporates both!
Unfortunately I too would talk the reader’s ear off, so I relate to Hange
Heavy-lidded slate gray eyes stare into your own, typical deadpan expression painting the rest of the owner's face. You jump slightly at the sudden change, your heart doing the same but not entirely from the shock. <- this scared me as a reader I CANT IMAGINE HOW SHE FELT
His eyes snap to you at the touch of your warm skin, tense at first but then visibly relaxing when he remembers it's you. <- oh. Oh okay. Must be nice. JDJDJD “when he remembers it’s you” really got me!
“I’m starving. Want to grab a bite somewhere?” Erwin checks his phone to verify the time as he inquires. <- WHY IS MY BEAUTIFUL BABY HUNGRY. FEED THIS KING NOWWWWW .
His gaze doesn’t stay long but it’s enough for you to shoot him a toothy smile and thumbs up in agreement. <- and ladies and gentlemen here we have the reader, yet again, being adorable as hell. Thank you.
Erwin glances over to you and winks…<- REMIND ME WHY SHE WANTS LEVI AGAIN? BECAUSE . BECAUSE.
Erwin managed to find everyone a nice place to stay. That’s my man and I love him.
This trip was for him and Carly for their anniversary AND the place where he was going to ask her to marry him and she was a no good rotten cheater I can’t BREATHE. Erwin deserves the world he’s such a good man and he needs as much love as he gives and-
but Erwin stared you down before you could even protest any further. <- I’m taking his clothes off
I love how much Levi adores tea. It’s a canon trait from the anime of course, but here, it makes me happy because the modern world has no many varieties and tea can be a hobby for him.
Putting the SHORTbread biscuits on the TOP shelf is evil!
“No, but I did check on them. They are out like a light.” <- Erwin being perfect yet again. Not only is he helping put up groceries but he check on his friend while they were sleeping like the perfect kind amazing wholesome gorgeous beautiful person he is.
“I’d like to see you try.” A soft chuckle escapes his lips as he tosses some seasonings into the pan. <- we love a man who knows how to season and chuckle
…Levi start arguing with Hange about something again. <- I LOVE their friendship forever and always
I don’t know if this was intentional but the reader seems so happy on this trip, cracking a lot of jokes with Levi. I think it’s the combination of both falling in love and being on vacation and I LOVE IT! I too am excited to see what this trip has in store!

Chapter 8: June - Part One
☾ Pairings ➼ Levi Ackerman x fem!mute!Reader (she/her pronouns), set in a modern semi-fictional world
☾ Summary ➼ Due to childhood trauma, you find yourself an adult without the ability to speak. After years of working on it, you have found ways to live without a voice. Now here in your late 20s, you are 5 months in getting used to a new town. On a fateful day in late November, you and your adopted sister visit a local bookstore-café, unaware of the friendships about to blossom. Throughout the months, one friendship in particular develops into something more.
☾ Content/Warnings ➼ fluff, slowburn, oblivious feelings, romance, angst, mention of minor character deaths, trauma, illness, adoption, mentions of fire, disabilities, alcohol use, very light nsfw mentions, references to child abuse, smoking and alcohol abuse mentions, domestic violence, light assault
☾ Author's note ➼ Hi guys! Welcome to the final chapter!! As you can see, I will be splitting up June into multiple parts!! I don't know how many yet. I have multiple days planned, each with their own twists and surprises. I can't wait to get to day 3 and 4 AAAAAAAA. Anyways. This chapter is really slow but it's set up for the stuff later, I promise!! Happy summer, see you in my next update (hopefully soon)!!
☾ Word Count ➼ ~5.1k
As promised, you find yourself on a plane to the Marleyan coastal city, Liberio, in the middle of June. The flight was not as long as you thought but unfortunately for you, Hange forgot their earbuds. The consequences of their scatter-brained self fell onto you. Your sister decided to fill the space with their voice as they spoke animatedly about the itinerary that they've changed at least six times since the plane's departure. You offered to let them borrow your earbuds - mainly out of mercy for yourself – but they refused, stating they were yours to use. Not like you had a chance to really use them anyways.
For the most part, you were able to zone out as Hange’s words became a buzz. You opt to fill the time as you stare out the window and into the horizon, fleeting thoughts of what the future held flying by like the plane you sat in. Only when land could be seen breaking up the dark blue expanse off in the distance did you notice the silence. You're not sure how long it had been since your sister stopped talking. You twist your head around, fully expecting to see Hange asleep. This was not the case.
Heavy-lidded slate gray eyes stare into your own, typical deadpan expression painting the rest of the owner's face. You jump slightly at the sudden change, your heart doing the same but not entirely from the shock.
"Hi."
‘What are you doing here?' You sign curiously.
"What? Tired of me already?" A hint of teasing slips into his tone.
'No! I'm just confused. You're okay!" Your eyes widen in worry, hands flying everywhere.
"I'm kidding. Hange kicked me out of my seat to speak with Erwin." He turns his head in the direction of said person a couple rows ahead, talking just as lively as your sister.
Your eyes trail back over to Levi's face, taking note of the thin sheen of sweat glistening on his forehead. His eyebrows crinkle in the middle the way they do when he’s agitated. You flicker your gaze down to see his hand tightly gripping the armrest that separated the two of you. His knee bounces so hard you’re surprised the plane isn’t moving with it. Levi is anxious, something you've never seen him be before now.
Reaching over, you gently place your hand on top of his. His eyes snap to you at the touch of your warm skin, tense at first but then visibly relaxing when he remembers it's you. You offer him a small smile, a look of relief washing over his face for just a moment.
You knew this was your first time flying anywhere but you assumed you were the only one. While you had stared out the window in childlike wonder, Levi must have been quietly suffering. You had enough tact as well as enough knowledge of your friend to know he wouldn't want to talk about it. Instead, you wrap your fingers around the back of his hand and turn back to the window.
You stay like that when the sea changes to land and don't let go even when the wheels hit the pavement.
.
The moment you step outside of the airport’s sliding glass doors, you're instantly hit with a gust of humid air. It's hot and you already feel a sticky sweat clinging to your clothes not a minute later. The late morning sun filters through the slats that vertically adorn the awning above the pick-up zone as cars stop and leave like a drive-through for people. Erwin had called for a taxi while you all had waited for your respective bags at the claim area. The plane had landed during the worst time, and it showed as you note there is no end in sight for the line.
“Well, it appears to me that I forgot that time zones exist and unfortunately we can’t check in to the condo for another couple of hours. Any ideas?” Hange whips around to look at the group, making sure to hold their hat in place before it can fly off in the breeze.
“I’m starving. Want to grab a bite somewhere?” Erwin checks his phone to verify the time as he inquires. It was a little past 11am which means that it had been about 6 hours since you had last eaten a full meal.
“Whatever is fine with me. But I think we may be here for the next couple of hours anyways.” Levi shrugs as his eyes scan for the oncoming taxi. They land on you for a moment, lingering. His gaze doesn’t stay long but it’s enough for you to shoot him a toothy smile and thumbs up in agreement. The corners of his lips twitch as he looks away.
“There’s a little café within walking distance of the place we’re staying, why don’t we go there? Maybe you guys can get some ideas for No Regrets while we’re there, huh?” Hange nudges Levi in the shoulder with their elbow.
“What are you trying to say, four-eyes?” Levi cuts his eyes over to your sister.
“Oh nothing, shorty.” Hange snorts back.
“Okay, okay, you two. The car is here, cut it out.” Erwin glances over to you and winks, as if to say ‘children’.
The ride to the café is relatively short. Since you were all staying a little less than a week, the suitcases were small and easily maneuverable, fitting nicely in the trunk of the car you sit in as it speeds down the highway. Luckily, the local people spoke the same language but the accent they had was something you were not expecting. It’s light and airy, but it’s obvious they had their own dialect.
By the time you sit down at one of the outside tables and order the rest of your meals, the clock reads 1:48pm and your stomach feels as if it will devour itself. Hange and Erwin are chatting about something off to the side while you take in the rest of your surroundings. It was overwhelming to say the least, but not in an entirely bad way. Bright colors and tan buildings overtake your senses. You rub your eyes, realizing just how tired and strained they were.
“Maybe we should have gotten you some caffeine?” Levi looks over to you as he sips the tea he ordered. It’s dark as usual, the steam from the hot liquid drifting and refracting the sunlight in a million different ways. There’s a look of peace on his face as he ingests it, a clear sign that he is pleased with the way it was made – which is hard to do for Levi Ackerman.
‘I’ll be fine. I’m sure I’ll sleep well tonight.’ You wave your hand dismissively when you’re done, shooting Levi a small smile. He doesn’t look convinced but doesn’t press.
“Do you know the plans for the next couple of days?” He inquires, staring over to your other two friends deep in conversation. They’re pointing to a paper itinerary they had printed out prior to leaving home.
‘Hange has changed it so much that I have no idea. I know we’re going to the beach tomorrow morning but that’s it.’
Levi says nothing else, the clinking of his teacup hitting the saucer being the only noise responding back. You start to wonder if Levi feels as you do – like a passenger along for the ride with Erwin and Hange helming the wheel. You wonder even more if he’s of the same mindset that you don’t really mind being thrashed around if you get to be with your friends, with him. A breeze blows past, granting a brief respite from the sweltering humidity and pulling you from your thoughts. You can’t wait to shower later.
.
Just as Hange said, the condo isn’t too far from the café. A few minutes walk from it, actually. The building where you would reside for the next week is massive, much more than the pictures gave credit for. You can hear the distant crashing of waves belonging to the ocean that sits behind it. When you step inside the cool, air-conditioned lobby, your mouth drops slightly. This was not like your typical residential condo complex.
The outside looks quite plain, white with light blue accents. But the inside? Marble flooring and gold embellishments flood your eyes. Dark, glossy wood makes up all the furniture with navy blue velvet to line the seating. A massive crystal chandelier hangs from the center which also splits a double curved staircase leading to who knows where, sitting under it are a couple of elevators. To your right sits a restaurant called Rumbling Bar and Grille and to your left, something that looks like a grand ballroom. Double French doors stand open outwards, and you can see more marble flooring filling the space. There’s a billboard hanging by the doors with multiple fliers about upcoming events tacked to it. The only noises you hear are the patrons at the bar enjoying an afternoon meal. You can’t believe Erwin had managed to book something so grand as this.
After your birthday party last month, Erwin had explained the reasoning for such an occasion, saying the perks that were planned for the next few days were from a trip he had booked forever ago - A trip he had booked for him and Carly as an anniversary present as well as a place to ask her to marry him. Considering after everything that had happened so many months ago, you can see why he didn’t want to bring it up. But then Carly called him to ask about using it for her and her friends and well, it was under his name. He said it wasn’t hers to take.
Erwin said he was fine about it all and would rather it be put to use by someone else, not to mention that it was all nonrefundable. He didn’t really go into details about what the perks were other than that some things were easily upgradable to fit the four of you comfortably. You can’t help but feel slight guilt for taking advantage of such a lavish gift, but Erwin stared you down before you could even protest any further.
“Little Berry!! Are you coming or what?” Hange pulls you out of your thoughts and your eyes zero in on Hange, Levi, and Erwin waiting by the elevators for you. Signing a lazy sorry, you grab the handle of your rolling suitcase and hurry to catch up with them.
The complex is set up so that every floor has one condo each, and there are about 30 floors in total. Due to that, every resident is given a private code that must be put into the elevator that gives it the permission needed to move to the appropriate floor. Erwin inputs the code he was given by the hosts and eventually the doors open up on the 27th floor half a minute later.
Your first impression of the condo is warmth. The owners have it decorated in a typical beach fashion but instead of the normal navy blues and grays, it was all oranges, pinks, and tans. Very much like a vibrant sunset on the beach.
The entire floor was built with an open plan. A large living room sits in the middle with spacious, comfortable looking couches and a massive flat screen TV sitting upon a long table up against the wall. A grand kitchen sits off to the side, separating itself from the dining room with a white marble island countertop that serves as a bar to eat at. Along the entire wall facing the ocean sit wide windows, starting from the floor and reaching up high to the tall ceilings. Natural light would not be a problem here.
Originally, Erwin’s booking had a single bedroom. Somehow, he was able to get something so last minute with 3 bedrooms, all with their own private bathrooms. A king, a queen, and a double twin. The men got the bigger rooms which left you and Hange in the smaller one, but you didn’t complain about that at all.
Your bedroom isn’t as small as Hange claimed, however. It’s big enough for two people, the same area as a typical hotel. On the far wall, a glass door separates the room from a small veranda that faces the ocean, equipped with a single garden chair and small round table.
You clumsily place your suitcase on the bed closest to the bathroom, grunting in effort as you do. Hange does the same, and smiles over to you in accomplishment. You and Hange didn’t have many similarities even though you’ve lived with them for more than half of your life, but you did share the need to over-pack for every trip ever made.
“We don’t have any plans for the rest of today, right?” Hange flops onto their bed and stares over at you. Their head slowly sinks into the soft pillows.
‘Not that I know of. I don’t even know what we’re doing for dinner.’ You shrug your shoulders and brush the hair out of your face that fell with the exertion of moving your suitcase.
“I was actually thinking about us making dinner and staying in to rest up for the next couple days.” You think for a moment and ultimately decide that’s not a bad idea. You were quite tired and wouldn’t mind relaxing.
‘We don’t even have groceries for that, silly.’
“Why don’t you and Erwin go? I trust you both to think of something delicious.” So much for relaxing.
‘I guess. But what will you do?’
“If you must know, I’ll be staring at the back of my eyelids.” Hange chortles as they move their arms across their eyes. You huff and start unpacking a few things before pulling off your suitcase and tucking it into the corner. By the time you stand up straight, you hear the light snores that belong to your sister.
In their defense, they have been pulling late nights the past week so that they didn’t have much to worry about while they were gone. So you didn’t have much to be mad about, not like it bothered you much to begin with. This was vacation after all, and they had practically planned it all with Erwin.
You step over to your sister’s bed and gingerly pull their shoes off, placing them on the floor by the glass doors. You grab the handles of her bag and tug it gently. They had packed way more than you did, and it showed in your face as you did your best to lift it off the bed without disturbing them. You pluck off Hange’s glasses and set them on the bedside table before brushing their hair out of their face, smiling down at them as you do. Doing this reminds you of all those nights back when you took care of Hange in the deepest part of their university years. Once satisfied, you grab your shoulder bag and quietly step out of the bedroom before closing the door with a soft click.
You twirl around to find Erwin busy typing away at his laptop on the sofa while Levi’s in the kitchen inspecting the cabinets, moving things around like he’s looking for something. You move closer and rap on the coffee table with your knuckles to get Erwin’s attention.
“Hm?” He responds, not bothering to look up at you. You knock again, finally getting his bright blue eyes to land on you. “Oh, sorry. What’s up? Where’s Hange?”
‘They elected to take this time to nap. We’ve been chosen to do grocery shopping for tonight’s dinner.’ Erwin chuckles at that.
“That’s Hange for you. That sounds great but I’m unfortunately in a pickle trying to get these reservations set for tomorrow. I’m sure Levi wouldn’t mind going with you, though.”
“Wouldn’t mind going where?” Levi calls from inside a cabinet, his back turned to you.
“Grocery shopping. We’re having dinner here tonight.” Erwin goes back to his typing, his eyes squinting as he reads along with something.
“Normally I’d say no, but this place has next to no tea and if I’m to survive this week, I need more than what the café had to offer.” Levi laments and finally wheels around to face your direction. Your eyes meet and you point to the elevator with a thumb. He nods and shuts the cabinet behind him before heading towards the doors.
“What do you want?” Levi mumbles over his shoulder towards Erwin.
“Whatever you two want. I trust you implicitly.” Levi grumbles more at Erwin’s response as he presses the button to call the elevator. It looks like whatever was on the menu for tonight fell onto the two of you.
.
The walk to the grocer was not a very long one. With every passing moment, you start to understand why Erwin chose this spot. It was close to everything you would need without having to rent a vehicle. However, because of how short the trip to the store was, it left you and Levi little to no time to decide what to make for dinner tonight.
Levi stands with his hands in his pockets as he stares at the selections of meat in front of him, lips pursed and eyes narrowed. You’re leaning against the shopping cart as you stare over his shoulder at the options. There were too many to choose from and you really had no idea what you wanted. You glance over to the glass case tucked into the corner of the store, filled to the brim with fresh fish and crustaceans sitting on a bed of ice. Levi didn’t even bother to look at it when you passed it the first time.
You both had already been here for half an hour, gathering small things for the rest of the trip like sunscreen, drinks, and snacks. Not to mention loose leaf tea in which Levi had spent 15 minutes of that time alone finding the right one. You would never tell him, but he is such a tea snob. You had mentioned taking a walk around as you both did the extra shopping to give yourself more time to think, but you find yourself still in decision paralysis as you stand shivering in front of the cooler.
“Any ideas yet?” You reach over and tap him on the back of the shoulder to get his attention.
‘Not yet. You?’ Levi clicks his tongue in slight frustration.
“Tch. Are we sure we don’t want to just eat out instead? It would save us the hassle.”
‘Levi.’
“Okay, okay. Pasta? How about pasta?” Levi points to the seafood bar. “With shrimp?” You stare at him incredulously, questioning if he can read your mind. But also confused, as you didn’t think he cared for it considering the uninterested tone. But still, you nod in approval, almost a little too enthusiastically. He hums back in response and gently pulls on the cart towards the freshly caught shrimp. You have no choice but to be tugged along.
You watch as Levi orders a pound of de-shelled shrimp in his usual monotone voice. The way his jawline tenses as he waits, the way his bottom eyelashes sit on his soft cheeks. His pouty lips, marred from his past mistakes. You don’t notice how hard you’re staring until his gray eyes cut over to you.
“What?”
‘Nothing, you just have an eyelash on your nose.’ Levi rubs his nose with a finger to rid of the imaginary lash.
“Better?” You nod, face heating up at being caught.
“Here you are sir.” The guy behind the counter calls out, holding a taped up package of the cold shrimp. “Anything else I can get you?”
“No, thank you.” Levi reaches over and takes it carefully before tossing it into the cart. He turns in your direction but looks past you to the aisles behind you. “Let’s go grab the rest of the ingredients and get out of here, yeah?”
With that, you and Levi weave and bob through the aisles you had once gone through already. Luckily with the grocer being so small to begin with, it didn’t take much time at all now that you knew what you were looking for. At one point Levi wanted something off a shelf but couldn’t reach. He stood there for a minute staring daggers into what looked like a package of shortbread biscuits. He of course didn’t say anything and instead twirled around and left down the aisle. You reached up to grab it after he disappeared around the corner and tucked it away into the cart.
To make it fair, you both decided to split the grocery bill and much to your surprise, it wasn’t as much as you thought it would be. If Levi wasn’t so stubborn, you would have offered to pay for it all. You can already picture Levi staring holes into your skull at such an offer.
When you get back, you note that not much has changed. Erwin is still on the sofa, scrolling through something and only stopping once he hears you placing paper grocery bags down on the counter. The TV is on, playing the local forecast for the rest of the week. It looks like sunshine and high temperatures.
“There you are. Find anything good?” Erwin places his laptop on the coffee table and stands up before making his way over to you and Levi. He sticks his hands in the bags to help unpack and eyes the fresh tomatoes, shrimp, and cream. Blue eyes then trail over the dry pasta that Levi currently held in his hands.
“Shrimp pasta?” He raises an eyebrow at you both.
‘Tuscan shrimp pasta.’ You correct him. ‘Levi’s idea.’
“Hm. Interesting.” Erwin chuckles at that and places it all down on the counter. You look up at him curiously as he does so.
‘What do you mean by that?’
Erwin leans down to whisper so that only you can hear while he sticks his hands back into the bag. Levi isn’t paying attention as he’s currently putting the cold ingredients away in the fridge.
“Pasta is one of his comfort foods. But the shrimp? He’s not a fan. Something must have changed his mind.” He pulls away and looks down at you with a gleam in his eye, an award winning smile blinding you. You fidget with the hem of your shirt as you consider his words.
‘Is Hange up yet?’
“No, but I did check on them. They are out like a light.”
‘I’m going to wash all this travel grime off then. Be right back.’ You turn on your heels to head towards your room at a brisk pace.
“So Levi...” You hear Erwin start just as you close the door behind you.
Hange is indeed passed out. When you left, they had their arm over their face. Now, they’re face down on their pillow and snoring away. Good thing you had moved their glasses when you did. You take a moment to gather some fresh lounge clothes before setting out your night wear for later. You take one last glance at your sister to make sure they were still breathing and close the bathroom door behind you.
The rest of the evening goes by in a blur. Hange had woken up by the time you got out of the shower – which took you a while to do as it was the nicest shower you have ever used. While you waited for Hange to clean up as well, you spent some time on the balcony looking out into the ocean as the sun lowered into the sky. Your skin warms in the golden light that came with this time of night. You watch as families pack up their things and leave the sandy shores, the sounds of small kids whining making their way up to you.
Dinner, as planned, took little to no time at all to make. Especially considering the four of you teamed up and tackled every part of it flawlessly, all working in sync. At some point, Erwin and Hange were on vegetable chopping duty which left you and Levi tending to the stove, stirring the cream sauce and sautéing shrimp respectively. You watch Levi out of the corner of your eye, noting how intently focused he is on the task at hand.
“You keep staring at me today, what’s up with that?” He doesn’t even look up when he speaks, choosing to do so once he finishes his sentence. Sharp gray eyes stare into your own and you force yourself to look away, opting to gaze down to the bubbling cream mixture before you.
‘I’m not.’
“Tch, could have fooled me.” His remark contains no traces of malice, so you know he’s not truly all that bothered.
‘Maybe you just have a slappable face,’ You tease. More like kissable, you think. Your cheeks flare at the flashing thought and mentally swat it away.
“I’d like to see you try.” A soft chuckle escapes his lips as he tosses some seasonings into the pan.
“Alright you two, stop flirting and move, the tomatoes are done.” Hange chirps from behind you.
Was that flirting? You don’t stop to dwell on it as you’re pushed away from the stove and far from Levi. You move to the other side of the island and lean against it as you watch Levi start arguing with Hange about something again. Erwin is doing his best to move them along before the food burns. You laugh to yourself at the scene unfolding before you, feeling your heart warm at it.
.
Whether it was from Hange’s soft snoring or the endless thoughts racing through your mind, you find yourself tossing and turning in bed. Reaching over to the side table, you pull your charging phone closer to you and click the side button, resulting in you flinching away at the sudden bright light. When your eyes adjust, you note the time reading well past three in the morning. You can already feel the imminent exhaustion for tomorrow.
You set the phone down carefully and push yourself up into a sitting position. Out the veranda glass doors, you spot the distant movement of ocean waves as the current pushes in and out of the shore. The reflection of the full moon glitters along the dark expanse. Without another thought, you pull yourself out of bed and throw on your thin jacket before padding out of the bedroom and through the front door.
Compared to this afternoon, the night is considerably colder and the breeze off the ocean made it even more so. You pull your jacket around you tightly, scolding yourself for not putting on more clothes. The bottom of your night dress ripples in the wind creating goosebumps up your legs. Besides the cold though, the night is gorgeous. There is quite a bit of light pollution from the night activities blaring through the streets so the stars are muted but otherwise it’s a very clear night, not a cloud in sight. The ocean, the moon, the muffled music in the background of the ultimately silent and peaceful night… you revel in it.
The waves lap the shore gently as you make your way over to the shoreline. Your bare feet digs through the soft sand and you chuckle to yourself. This is the first time you’ve ever been on something like this and it was strange. You get close enough to where the water stops and take a deep breath before taking a few steps more. When the salt water rushes over your feet, you jump in surprise. It’s a lot colder than you expected, but you chalk that up to the fact that the sun is no longer out to warm everything.
“Couldn’t wait until tomorrow to take a swim?” You hear a familiar voice grumble behind you. Startled yet again, you jump and snap your head to the visitor. Levi stands with his hands in his jogger’s pockets, black t-shirt billowing in the wind with his hair doing the same. The moonlight hits him like it always does, giving him a glow that only he can reflect.
‘It’s the only good time for skinny dipping.’ You sign back jokingly. He only rolls his eyes in response. He takes a few steps closer but not enough to get his feet wet, which you notice he’s completely laced up in sneakers. Must be the sand, you think.
“You’re a dummy. Can’t sleep?”
‘Too excited. I have a lot of thoughts.’
“Like what?” He smirks over to you and crosses his arms over his chest.
You walk over and stand beside him, tapping a finger on your chin like you’re lost in thought.
‘Like… what kind of sand mermaid I’m going to make you into tomorrow. Later today.’ You smile over at him.
“I’m sure whatever you choose, it will look great.” Levi huffs in amusement.
‘What’s keeping you up?’
“Perpetual insomnia…” He trails off and gives you a side eye before continuing on, “And I heard you leave.”
‘Afraid I might run off with someone in the night?’ You gain another huff from Levi, but he doesn’t say anything back. He shifts his weight, a subtle wince flashing across his face.
‘Need me to carry you, old man?’
“Oi, fuck off.”
Another cool breeze blows past, this time pulling your unzipped jacket back and exposing more of your skin to the open air. You’re now very aware of what you’re wearing in the presence of Levi. Not that you had planned to run into anyone, but you scold yourself again for not layering up even more. Your night dress didn’t show too much in terms of cleavage which was comforting. But then the fact that you had no bra on and the fabric was quite thin races through your mind. You catch his gaze flickering down before you can pull your jacket around you again. When you glance back up, he’s already looking in the opposite direction.
“The way I see it,” He clears his throat. “we can either walk along the beach until you’re tired enough to go to bed or we can head back and you can try your hand at sleeping now.” That was quite an ultimatum, you think. You rack your brain to see how tired you really were. Before, you might have head back after a bit. But now that Levi is here… well. You didn’t want to cut this moment short.
‘I don’t want to go back yet.’ Levi nods and starts off to the left, the soft crunch of sand emanating from every step. Yes, you were quite excited to see what else this trip had in store.

Can you do one where s/o is a royal? Like with the normal crew you usualy do, Levi Erwin hangi bertholdt Reiner Kenny etc. 🥰
HI! <3 so like a royal Y/n x ! AOT Character... that sounds cool, I'll use my usual format for these characters
Levi:
•Levi is quite the possessive knight to be honest, it would be difficult to keep his role as he’s always managing to upset the higher ups with how he wants you a million miles away from danger. Again, he pisses off the higher ups… AKA the king… A K A … your dad
•So for this I propose that Levi is not your knight, he’s your butler. A strong butler 😭 it’s really funny. He seems like a stoic and angry little one but actually, he’s the best. Especially to the young royals.
•he’d perform tricks for them every time they seem sad. Levi understands after all, being a child and a royal at the same time must have put a lot of pressure on them. So the children absolutely adore Levi.
•You’re already promised to someone sure, but you couldn’t care less, you’ll sneak out of your room at night to hang out with Levi just sipping tea with him and talking about life while hanging out on one of the fancy balconies in the castle.
•Levi isn’t one for scandals, he makes sure to stay low when it comes to other people finding about his relationship with the Princess. If you’re sent on a journey, usually your mum and dad will send Levi with you. Since he’s not only strong but also very responsible.
•You’re lucky enough to not have any knights accompany you, Levi is all you need. And once you know no one’s on your tail, you can finally act normal together.
•I guess at one point, you two would run away together, forever bounty’s sure, but you’re also forever married ☺️ (DISCLAIMER‼️ not by law)
Erwin:
•Erwin was upgraded from a knight to the kings advisor. That’s just how smart and convincing he is. In this AU he’d have a scar crossing over on his eyes and he’d even have stories written about him (in the future people probably would thing Knight Smith was a damned legend😤)
•He has always caught your eye, with his kindness, his bravery, but most of all his intelligence, no one could compete with his war strategies, his ideas. All of it had twisted the kingdom into a whole new better life of civilisation.
•you happened to be the person who helped upgrade Erwin to such a spot. That way, you two could see each other more often and you wouldn’t have to worry about him dying in battle.
•Everytime he greets you in front of your dad he delicately picks your hand up and kisses it, even going as far as to bow down. He always gives you a knowing smirk every time he stands back up, towering over you.
•Not gonna lie to you, when the king sees the way you and Erwin interact his head just goes 💡 L I G H T B U L B
•And that’s how you ended up in an arranged marriage with someone you were secretly dating. Honestly it was kinda sad for the maidens of the kingdom, since who doesn’t have a fat crush on this man💔 still though, everyone celebrated and your dad could die peacefully knowing the country was in good hands
•Still, everyone was suspicious because you two managed to click so well on your wedding day… almost as if you had already been infatuated with each other since a long time.
•And by the way 😮💨 King! Erwin discusses plans and ideas while holding his child 😞
Hange
•Hange was originally supposed to assassinate you as an act of revenge against your father, the king. Like a typical evil dumb butt he took from the poor and gave to the rich. Which means the rich never pay any taxes only the poor do.
•Sorry I got political there
•ANYWAY! She had been stalking you before she planned to kill you, learning your routine and trying to adapt to times that are better to just, shoot an arrow through your chest.
•Would she wanna shoot your chest after she got flashed at while stalking you? 😫Not at all- (I’m so sorry anytime I’m writing Hange I become so feral for no reason)
•Anyway, she found out from your words to the maids, that you hated your father and had even planned to poison him. Everyone agreed with you, he was horrible and treated people like animals.
•Hange realised it would be easier to kill your father, but it isn’t really. If she ever gets caught then a deathly torture will await for her… and besides, it’d be harder with all the security around him at all damn times.
•Then one day. She had joined the guard legion, to get closer to you.
•No one really knew her gender but she was strong enough to be classified as a man to them (ik it’s stupid but bear with me 😭)
•With all the times she had saved you from danger, she was placed as the guard that would stay by your side.
•Of course, even when saving you from dangerous situations (that feels like she set up herself) you can’t help but feel suspicious from the way she stares at you longingly, holds you away from something that may hold potential danger. Not to mention she’s just so flirtatious with you and doesn’t care if anyone sees.
•And not very long after, you begin to grow feelings for her too.
•When you finally get alone together, those flirtatious comments turn into flirtatious touching, with her finger tucked under your chin every time she talks to you.
•Before more people arrive you took your chance to kiss her cheek as a thank you.. and low-key a way to say, yo you’re kinda cute 🌚
•I think only you know that she’s a woman 🗿 her face is more feminine and her throat is less thicker than the mens, her waist goes inward despite her muscles.
•This is getting too long, perhaps I’ll turn this Into a fanfiction one day
Bertholdt:
•Bertholdt was not a knight, he wasn’t a servant, he wasn’t an assassin either
•He was a peasant. A peasant child born to the family of wise fortune tellers. His parents died of a disease and so did his siblings so the royal family took him in, with the condition that he predicts the future for them.
•Bertholdt did, he was as intelligent as his parents were. The king and queen were proud, they were overjoyed. Bertholdt had grown up with the royals and learnt how to be better than a peasant.
•So, your parents low-key thought, you’d be a perfect gift to him for all those years of service. He was moved from the castle he grew up in and was hastily thrown into your arms.
•When he first showed up he had a red cape strapped to his shoulders with gold, matching with a golden suit. He was so flustered when he saw you, he was great full for the two maids that stood beside him, helping him introduce himself to you.
•the first time you guys spoke, he was silent and never looked you in the eye. “did my parents raise a prince or a bunny?” You giggled softly at how his cheeks instantly burnt a warm red. Still, he refused to look you in the eye.
•”Hey, it’s okay… I don’t bite. Now,” you tucked your finger under his chin, bringing his attention back to you. “Why don’t you introduce yourself. Properly this time.”
Reiner:
•The most chaotic knight ever.
•He was so infatuated with your beauty, he’d probably be able to answer a 100 question quiz about you, with no hesitation and get it all right. Please, if you asked him to run outside with nothing but a tight pink peppa pig themed underwear on, he’d do it.
•Despite how chaotic and wreckless he is, he was charming. Your father really liked him. Reiner was always one in a few that returned from dangerous missions or battles, he was important to your dad. But not important enough to give his daughter away to.
•That doesn’t stop the two of you though. When your father is away on trips and missions, you two do anything you like, Reiner will even put you on a horse, right in front of him and take you on an adventure. Your mum would warn you two to show up before a specific date when your father would return.
•Honestly spontaneous, funny, and possessive. He’s just a hardcore golden retriever.
•Did I mention the amount of times he’s probably got into a near death situation. He has a knack for it, his body is filled with scars just from his carelessness. No one knows how he’s still alive.
•Would die for you tbh
•Hed even run away with you. Anything for his princess.
•Omg side note but imagine your father finds out about your relationship and banished him from the kingdom. But instead you secretly pack your things and run away with Reiner. Perfect. Awesome. Yes.
Kenny:
•Kenny is connected to the evil shit the royals secretly do. He gets paid a lot to do snarky shit that your parents order him to do. It’s usually something like sabotaging a certain town or village that are slowly catching onto something
•Or perhaps it’s killing someone. Kenny is at the royals service. And to be honest, you never knew about this until you overheard it happening. You weren’t supposed to be there and you didn’t know what would happen to you if your father found out that you caught on.
•it’s another story with Kenny tbh. He knows you but you don’t know him.
•So when you leave the castle for a bit- without permission and without protection, you find yourself in a dangerous situation in which crooks want you for ransom (you must be a dumbass in this story) but anyway, a random man that looks way too old to be pulling the moves that he is saves you from being toyed around with (ugly stupid cranks)
•”Be careful next time.” He’d say, even though he knew you, he didn’t want to give it away that he understood you were the princess.
•And honestly, you’d low-key develop a hardcore crush on him. Only realising who he is when your father introduced you to him (you happen to see him) that was the same voice as the one you’re father always had meetings with.
•Still, how could you hate him 😍 what with all the smiles he shoots at you, winking at you from across the room when he catches you staring. It’s no wonder an affair began from it all.
•He should be on a mission, to go shoot someone’s brains out but here he is, in your locked room at night, muffling your moans the best you could.
Jean:
•Jean would be your jester. Except he isn't a jester? Basically he was hired to help the princess keep her chin up, a way to make sure she doesn't do something dangerous because of her depression
•You'd scoff when you were first introduced to your jester, dressed like a body guard and height tall enough to convince you he was the new king.
•"What's all this? I'm depressed not manically suicidal."
•"I'm sorry but his majesty insisted." The maid bowed from right next to Jean, seemingly nervous. You sighed but nodded reluctantly, shooing her off before she could sweat a puddle.
•you're surprised he was hired, he has no boundaries with you and talks to you like you're just another human being (shocker) but honestly you're low-key into it, it's a bit of fresh air from all that royalty bs.
•Your little cutie Jester will take you on late night trips, sometimes to festivals, sometimes he'll take you to bars or restaurateurs (Eugene from rapunzel Core) he'll even get you commoner gifts. They're cute and their designs are done with thought, unlike your golden possessions- which are just hulks of money.
•the king could see a change in your demeanour when it came to Jean. He was helping you, you seemed less miserable. All you needed was a commoner bestie.
•Also can we mention the amount of times he has flirted with you, it always makes the butlers and maids fear for him, but they always get confused when you flirt back, perhaps bumping your hips into his... to which he replies with a stronger hip punch. Only throwing you two back and forth in zig zags and giggles.

People probably won't care but I'm gonna say it anyway.
It's interesting how Armin's character was built and I don't think people notice that very much. I have a few points about him that I wanted to share.
Warning: Those are my interpretations based on canon information. I am not an expert nor a phsychologist, please don't take this personally. I respect everyone's opinions and I expect to be respected as well. Also, english is not my native language and I apologize for any mistakes.
SPOILERS FROM SEASON 1 UP UNTIL THE END OF THE MANGA
We see him very young being bullied for most likely his appearance and behavior. From a very young age his self esteem was damaged. Besides that, he was always very intelectual and well spoken, we all know those kind of kids get super picked on because they don't really fit with the majority.
He probably has a lot of abandonment issues because of his parents. We don't know much about them, but a child will always question why they were left behind even if it was for a "good cause". Besides, his parents died because they wanted to explore the world and I think Armin would feel even more betrayed by that.
Meeting Eren and Mikasa doesn't mean he was instantly safe from the bullying. Even if he was protected, the damage is already done. Eren and Mikasa helped him a lot, but healing self esteem problems is complicated and children don't know how to do that. Besides, Armin would feel like a burden to his friends and try to offer something in return.
This entire situation set Armin up to rely on his words and brain to defend him and his friends. He wasn't born a manipulator and he doesn't manipulate for his own pleasure. He turns into a manipulator as a defense mechanism because he doesn't trust his strength (even after becoming a soldier or inheriting the Colossal Titan). When he has to kill or manipulate people we can see it's not a pleasant thing for him.
His morals are twisted by the environment he's inserted. He isn't a good and perfect angel, but also not an evil mastermind. He cares about his loved ones and will do anything for them, including mass murdering an entire army and ships. Does he like killing massive amounts of people? No. But he does it anyway. At the same time he sacrifices his best friend so humanity outside paradis can keep existing. There are many other situations that Armin has conflicting morals and I find it so human and relatable.
The leadership role he is sometimes given is not conventional. He can be a good leader, but he's never the in the front line when it comes to actually leading (remember that Armin is a brain and words person, but does not have an imposing figure nor does he radiates confidence). The ones close to him know he's a good strategist (Erwin himself told him so) but the outside people won't see him like that. Without the shield of Erwin, Hange and his friends he has a hard time being heard and this must mess with his head a lot.
When Eren goes completely brain damaged on season 4 we see an interesting side of Armin. He is stressed 24/7 and also exhausted. At this point he is conflicted between helping, stoping and understanding Eren. Also, he is also watching Mikasa's pain and sorrow over Eren's behavior. They used to be a trio with established roles between them and now everything is a mess and he feels useless and helpless. We see Armin snap at the table scene. Pure rage is NOT something we have ever seen on him before. Suddenly he goes for the violent option when he is all about words and calculated actions. Can you imagine how much built up anger he had to just burst in blind rage like that?
In paths we can see how vulnerable he is. When he screams at his own self laying on the ground. He is screaming and telling horrible things about himself. It felt like he was always waiting to breakdown and finally he couldn't wait anymore. He seems like a very "suffer in silence" guy. Sometimes he might even tell how he feels but mostly will keep it to himself.
In the end, when he is about to confront Eren, he is determined but also a mess. He puts on Mikasa all his trust. He really is trusting her ability to finish this nightmare of the rumbling despite her very painfull and damaged feelings. He knows Eren is gonna die, knows that Mikasa will have to do it and also knows he has to get the blame. It takes so much to know all of this and not hesitate for a moment.
Overall, I think Armin is a very complicated character (almost all aot characters are complicated). He has a special place in my heart and sometimes I would like to chat with Isayama about him.
That's all, folks!

War of Hearts
Erwin Smith X FReader
Word Count: 2,949
Warning: ANGST 😇, also this is my very first attempt at smut lol 👼, this is trash most likely haha, aot canon timeline is not followed hahahahehehe
A/N: you ever had those times when you hear a song and all these ideas for a fic just come rushing inside your head lol ok this was inspired by War of Hearts, a song by Ruelle, and clearly I got carried away haha

'Is your mission clear, sweetheart?', he whispered in your ears, his breath intoxicated with cigarettes.
'Yes', you replied as you stared at your reflection in the mirror. His hand caressing your naked body. His palm fondled your breast while his other hand grabbed your jaw to face him.
'This mission is yours to complete Y/N. I'll trust you won't let me down. Now, look at me', he commanded as he lifted your face, staring directly into your eyes. 'Tell me Y/N, who's the target?'
'Erwin Smith.'
'And what is it that you will do to him?'
'Assassinate him.'
'And why would you do that?'
'To avenge my father.
And to avenge me.'
'Good girl.'
The rain was pouring hard on this dark, cold night. But you were wrapped in the warm embrace of your lover. The man you were supposed to kill. As you nestled against the crook of his neck, with your bare bodies pressed close to each other, the conversation with the man who hired you loomed in your head. You are so close to him. You could easily slit his throat at this very moment. But you can't bear to do it. You weren't supposed to fall in love. That was not part of the plan. The stoic and tough commander, no one ever thought someone would be able to break his walls. But you did. You cunning, wicked woman. The cruelty of the world underground has trained you to soften the hardest of hearts, to tweak the logical minds and to manipulate the innocent souls. That's how you got Erwin Smith wrapped around your fingers. But you wish it was all that. But fate is cruel. You thought you were the wicked one. Yet fate is more evil. How could fate send you to a man who was the gentlest soul you've ever known? How could fate send you to a man who has the warmest touch you've ever felt? How could fate send you to kill a man who has loved you with all his heart, body and soul? All your life, you've known cruelty but not until this very moment. You thought cruelty was all the beatings, the bruises, the rapings and the tortures. But no, there was far more worse cruelty. And tonight you realized what that is. Being caught up in a forbidden love.
You raised your head from the crook of his neck. You cupped his cheeks and whispered into his ears, 'The moon looks beautiful tonight doesn't it?',. Your warm lips pressed a kiss on his forehead and slowly lifted his hands on your waist and removed yourself from his embrace. You got up, careful not to make any sound and dressed yourself. Before opening the door, you looked back at him. He was sleeping peacefully, as if he wasn't lying with a traitor just a few minutes ago. The guilt in your heart torments you. As you left his room, the corridors were silent. Only the crackling of the burning fire can be heard. The light was dim but you noticed the shadow of a man. When you looked up, you discovered humanity's strongest soldier. He was leaning against the wall, staring into the dark, rainy sky.
'Captain, I did not expect to see you here', you uttered in surprise.
'Tsk, I know he's fucking you, but I don't trust you Y/N.', he glared into your eyes and walked past you, 'I'm watching you'.
His statement shocked your core. Captain Levi has never been a trusting person. But you were careful, you made sure no one ever finds out. Yet the fact that you came from the underground made Levi more suspicious of you. As someone who came from the underground himself, he knows what kind of people the underground breeds. You haven't done anything alarming, yet, but with his growing suspicions, you have to act now and complete what you were supposed to do. You clenched your fist as tears began rolling into your eyes.
—
'There's a traitor among us Erwin', Hange exclaimed, slamming her hands against the commander's desk.
'I am aware Hange', the commander calmly responded.
'Then we have to act now! You're their target Erwin. Who knows they might've already sent someone to assassinate you', Hange told him.
'What do you think Levi?', she asked the captain.
Levi looked at her in silence then he turned to Erwin, 'Tsk'.
'I already have my eyes on someone', Erwin revealed.
'Then tell us Erwin!', Hange demanded.
'I can't Hange. We have to be careful', he told her.
'I trust your judgement, Erwin', Levi sternly expressed to the commander. And he left, Hange following him.
Erwin sighed. He hated this. He hated that he knew. He hated this gamble. He hated that his gamble is you. You were his sweet, little Y/N. The woman he never would've thought would open the doors to his closed heart. The love he never expected to find in this cruel world. When you came to the regiment, you were just another soldier in his eyes. But you charmed him with your wits and your strength. And before he knew it, he was captivated by you. And he knew that you felt the same, but did you?
—
Erwin knocked on the door to your room but there was no response. When he opened it, you weren't there. On days like this, when you are nowhere to be found, he knows exactly where to find you. To your secret hideaway. An abandoned cottage beyond the forest near the regiment's headquarters. But Erwin knew who used to own the property before. Lovof, he was called. A nobleman whose greed wanted to destroy the country of Paradis. But Erwin got to him first, causing his downfall. As to how you discovered that place, Erwin is uncertain. Lovof had that property built as a gift. Erwin only had suspicions. Suspicions he doesn't know if he can rely on. But that place has also become a special one for him. It was not just your hideaway but it was also his. It's the place where he is not the tough, stoic commander, but the warm and gentle lover. The moon has always looked beautiful from that place. It was also where you shared your first kiss together, and many more firsts after that. It has slowly become a home for the both of you, a world away from the grueling harshness of military life.
And you were there, sitting just outside the cottage. The moon's brightness illuminated the beautiful features of your face. You looked gorgeous like a goddess, basking under the moon's glory. When you heard someone approaching, you slowly looked their way.
'Erwin', you called him.
'I-', before you could finish what you were about to say his lips crashed into yours. Kissing you fervently and hungrily. You opened your mouth and allowed his tongue to explore the warm caverns of yours. And as you were running out of breath, he broke the kiss, grabbed your hand and led you inside. He hurriedly closed the door and pushed you against it. His left hand lifted the cheeks of your ass as he settled himself between your legs. His thick thighs directly against your clothed cunt. He was nibbling your neck, leaving marks as he guided your waist to grind into his thighs. His hand then found the buttons of your uniform, removing them revealing your chest. In a matter of seconds he unclasped your bra and his mouth sucked on your breasts while his other hand massaged your other boob. You moaned at the sensation. The sound you created only turned him on more. His lips pressed into yours again, your hands wrapped around his neck and he carried you into the bed. As you lied with your back against the mattress, he undressed himself. Removing his white polo, his pants and setting his throbbing cock free from its fabric constraints. He looked at you like a predator about to gobble up his prey and pulled your pants down, tossing it on the floor with your underwear. His index finger gathered the slick from your wet folds as he slowly inserted two digits in your dripping cunt. When he was sure you were stretched enough, he guided his cock into your pussy. His thrusts were slow at first but when you looked at him with those eyes begging for more, he slowly pulled out his cock and rammed it back again. Only this time, faster and rougher. You held into his strong biceps as he pounded into you like a beast. But you loved the feeling. You crossed your legs at the back of his waist, locking him and pulling him in. You were close, he could feel it, as you tightened against his cock and as your grips became stronger. And he was too, his cock was twitching inside your pussy. And with a few more thrusts you came undone and as he fucked you through your high, he grunted as he realeased his cum inside you. His lips found yours and he kissed you passionately. It was slow and filled with desires, of unspoken feelings. Then he pulled out and crashed beside you and pulled you into his embrace. His big hands gently caressing your tiny back. He held you like you were the most precious thing in the world. And you laid like that for quite a while. No words spoken, just two forbidden hearts beating for each other. Then he finally said something.
'Do it Y/N', he whispered in your ears.
'What?', you got up in surprise. 'What are you talking about Erwin?'
'Do what you were sent here to do, my love', he gently cupped your cheeks. The look in his eyes is the look of a man who has completely succumbed to his fate. A look you never would've imagined you'd see in Erwin's eyes. But there he is, before you, in his most vulnerable state, prepared to die in your treacherous hands. Today was the day Erwin decided to confront you. He was a brilliant strategist. A brilliant commander. A brilliant man. He could've come up with plans that are much preferable than him dying. But if he's not the one to die, then it would be you. If you get convicted with treason, death penalty awaits you. Or if you put up a fight, he was sure Levi wouldn't hesitate to kill you. And he doesn't want that. He doesn't want you to get hurt, he wants to protect you. In this very moment, love has weakened the strongest commander. His rational mind lost to the love he felt and his heart. And he has no regrets. He came here and made love to you accepting that tonight is the night it all ends.
Tears slowly began falling from your eyes and he gently wiped them. The decision to end him has been tormenting you, but he has made that choice for you. He didn't want you burdened by such choices anymore. You despised this. But there was no other way.
You took something from the bedside table. And looked at him.
'I'm sorry.'
He smiled at you. You injected the syringe and he closed his eyes.
—
Erwin awoke feeling the sting of a hard slap on his face, followed by a hard punch.
'Zeke, stop', a familiar voice pleaded.
When he looked up he saw you holding the blonde man back.
'I told you to kill him Y/N. But you brought him back here, alive. He's mine to kill now. As to how, that's up to me', he glared at you.
He started kicking Erwin mercilessly.
'Look at you, the high and mighty commander of the military looking so helpless in front of me. Too bad, you fell for the vixen I sent to kill you', Zeke smirked looking down at Erwin.
'Oh by the way Y/N, before he dies won't you do the honor of telling him your real name?', Zeke told you.
You looked down, ashamed to look at the beaten man in front of you. 'My name…is Y/N Lovof'.
Erwin's eyes widened. You were Lovof's daughter. The daughter of the man he sent to his death.
'Yes, that's right Commander. She's the daughter of the nobleman you doomed. His father was lucky, dying easily like that. Meanwhile his daughter left to starve and fend for herself. Eventually finding herself sold to human traffickers in the underground. Slaved, beaten, tortured, raped, b-'
'Stop it Zeke!', you screamed.
'What now Y/N? Are you ashamed of your past?', Zeke chuckled. 'Don't worry Y/N, with his death, Paradis will fall and the Yeagerists will rise. We'll rule this nation Y/N, and all those who've caused you pain, we'll eliminate them. One. By. One.', he whispered in your ears.
You glared at Zeke, turning your back on him and leaving the room where he chained up Erwin. You couldn't bear to kill the man you love so you drugged him to make him lose his consciousness and brought him to Zeke. You thought that if he dies in Zeke's hands, you won't feel as guilty. But you were wrong. You felt so guilty you wanna throw up. This was how it was supposed to be. This was how you're supposed to avenge your father and yourself. This is what you wanted wasn't it?
—
'I'm getting bored, Commander. I think I'll kill you now.', Zeke said while loading bullets in his gun.
And as he directed the gun on Erwin's forehead, he heard gunshots coming outside the room. This was his private estate. No one was supposed to know where this place was. No one. Unless, someone betrayed him.
'Y/N!', Zeke shouted as he raced out of the room, leaving Erwin chained up.
When Zeke went outside, he saw a familiar face coming inside.
'Look at your current state Erwin. It's disgusting', Levi told him as he unbuckled his chains.
'How did you know where I was Levi?'
'I'll tell you later, let's go.'
Levi assisted him, going out of the room.
As they were about to escape, Zeke maniacally shouted.
'Commander!'.
Erwin and Levi turned around and they saw you, Zeke hostaging you, his gun directed at your head.
'I won't let you leave easily', Zeke chuckled. 'Your life or hers? Choose.' he grinned.
You caught Zeke by surprise when you kicked him and elbowed him in the face, setting yourself free from his hold. And as you held him back, you looked at Erwin.
'Go!', you shouted.
Erwin hesitated and reached out for you but Levi grabbed him.
You were strong. But Zeke was stronger, it was getting hard holding him down. But you had to make sure they were far enough.
'You're a traitor through and through Y/N', Zeke snarled at you.
'I'm tired Zeke', you told him, tears falling down from your eyes. You looked outside and saw that they were finally in a safe distance. You slowly let Zeke go and grabbed something from your pocket.
'What are you doing Y/N?', his eyes widened when he noticed your body wrapped with bombs covered by your clothes.
'Let's end this Zeke', you stared at him in the eye and pushed the button.
'Y/N, st-'
The estate fell into an explosion.
Erwin was about to get inside the carriage when he heard the bomb exploded. When he saw the estate blowing up, he desperately tried to run back to you.
'Y/N', he called even though he knew it was to no avail.
'Erwin, your wounds', Hange reminded him.
'No, I have to get her', Erwin coughed up blood and could barely walk.
'Stop being so pathetic Erwin', Levi told him off as he knocked him unconscious.
—
'How was your sleep?', a sweet voice asked him.
When he opened his eyes he saw you. He was sleeping comfortably in your lap while you gently combed his blonde locks with your fingers.
'I've slept well my love', he responded as he got up planting a kiss on your lips.
'I love you Y/N', he told you as he rested his forehead into yours, his hand cupping your cheeks.
You smiled back at him. 'The moon looks beautiful tonight doesn't it?'
—
Erwin awoke in a room familiar to him. He was back at the headquarters, in the bedroom connected to his office. It was night time. When he looked out the window, the moon was full and shining ever so brightly. He slowly got up and scanned the room. He saw Levi and Hange.
'Does it hurt anywhere Erwin?', Hange asked.
Erwin looked down. His eyes filled with sadness and regret. 'My heart Hange', Erwin smiled sadly.
Levi then handed him a piece of paper.
'What's this?', he asked.
'You asked me how I knew. It was Y/N. She told me where you were. She confessed everything. And she told me to give this to you.', Levi explained.
Erwin opened the piece of paper.
'The moon looks beautiful tonight doesn't it?'
These were your favorite words. The night you confessed to him, you used these. Erwin didn't understand it at first and thats when you kissed him. 'It means I love you, silly', you told him.
Erwin just stared at the paper. You visited him in his sleep, he didn't know that was the last time he'll ever see you. If he knew, he would've stayed beside you. He would rather stay inside a dream than live a reality without you.
Erwin has led and won many wars. But the only war he lost was the war of hearts.

Superhero and villain levihan au
Something like the kind of relationship batman and catwoman have
Hair wet and towel loosely wrapped around his hips, Levi walked out of the bathroomm, pleasantly relaxed. At last, he had the night all for himself. At last, he'd receive a chance at getting eight hours of uninterrupted sleep.
However, that feeling all but evaporated as he saw his phone screen light up.
A curse mixed with groan escaped him as he read a new text message from Erwin, his boss. He ordered Levi to investigate a potential break in. Levi wanted to smash his head against a wall.
Jesus, why did villains always attack the city after midnight? Why couldn't they execute their evil plans during a daytime? Why couldn't these assholes work from nine to five? It'd make Levi's life as the only decent superhero in this city so much easier. It'd probably cure him from insomnia as well.
But insomnia or not, the city was in need of his help, he couldn't abandon his duty like that.
Muttering another curse, he headed to the bedroom to grab his equipment and put on his ridiculously tight suit.
Just another day - well, night - of being a superhero.
___
As soon as Erwin sent him the location, which was showing signs of suspicious activity, Levi knew he was in a hell of trouble. And as he set foot on the grounds of a chemical factory, he was one hundred percent sure that he was fucked.
There wasn't a lot of villains and criminals in their city. Only some of them were actually evil and able to pose a threat, most of them were idiots that went went running as soon as they saw him. All of them - in Levi's humble opinion - were annoying motherfuckers who kept fucking up his sleep schedule.
And out of that bunch, there was only one villain who was good enough to be considered Levi's rival. A person who possessed quick reflexes and precise movements to keep him on his toes in a physical battle, and had a brain so big that Levi didn't have a single chance at winning in a game of wits.
And despite no shortage of talents, the same person was careless and idiotic enough to start humming a cheerful song while rummaging through the compartments of the lab, hidden in the depths of the factory.
It seemed like for once, Levi had the upper hand. He decided not to waste a perfect opportunity, and stepped into the light, fully intent on scaring the shit out of the unlucky burglar.
"Four-eyes," he spoke in a low, bored voice, anticipating to see the villain jump and, hopefully, let out a loud scream. "Turn around, with your hands up in the air. You're arrested."
Unfortunately... his speech didn't seem to have the desired effect.
Four-eyes tensed, but didn't jump or scream. They slowly turned around, flashing him a smile. "Ah, Mr. Ackerman, it's always nice to see you."
At the mention of his real name, Levi's eye began to twitch. To the general public, to every fan or enemy alike, he was humanity's strongest, not Levi Ackerman. But, of course, the person in front of him was way too smart and had nose long enough to poke it into his personal business.
However... four-eyes wasn't the one holding all the cards. Levi knew a thing or two about them too.
"Pack your shit and fuck off, Hange," he said with a tired sigh, "You're ruining my sleep schedule."
"You don't have one," Hange snorted. Before Levi could point that the reason for his fucked up sleeping habits was standing right in front of him, Hange moved, coming to stand at his side. They leaned in, soft hair brushing against his cheek. "Mm, you smell so good. Did you take a shower just for me, Levi?"
With a low grunt, he pushed laughing Hange away. "I took a shower because I was going to go to bed earlier tonight. How do you even know that I did that? Are you spying on me now, you pervert?"
"I'm simply observant," Hange replied. "I can feel a strong scent of soap coming from you, I can see that your suit hugs you just a little tighter than usual, meaning that you probably put it immediately after you came out of the shower. And..." they laughed again, noticing his transfixed expression. Their hand reached out to his head, softly patting it. "Your hair is still wet, silly. And since it isn't raining outside... it doesn't take a genius to put two and two."
Fuck. Levi hated when Hange did that, reminded him just how smart they were and how easy they could fool him. Moments like this always made him wonder why Hange used that superpower of theirs exclusively to tease him.
He sighed and took off his mask, dropping every pretence that he was going to do anything to try and stop Hange. "So?" he approached the desk they were searching through, looking at what they've already managed to find. "What the fuck are you doing here?"
"Eh?" Hange sounded disturbingly disappointed. "You're not going to even try to fight with me? You don't want to wrestle, don't have the righteous desire to pin me to the floor or up against the wall, press a knife to my throat and whisper threats into my ear?"
Levi shook his head, desperately trying to ignore Hange and their words. He knew what they were doing - seducing him. It was not going to work, not tonight.
"We can wrestle later, after you tell me what the fuck are you doing here."
"And what about pinning me to the floor or against the wall?"
Levi shook his head. Sometimes, super villains were no more mature than a middle schooler. Then again, in that department, superheroes didn't fare much better. "If you stop fooling around and explain what's going, I'd let you do the pinning."
"Oh, now that is certainly exciting," they muttered, pressing their chest to his back. Hange left a kiss on the naked skin of his neck, flaring up all of Levi's nerve endings. Just one kiss and Levi was ready to change his mind and first wrestle, then talk, but Hange let go of him, before he could act on that desire.
When they came to stand next to him, no signs of mischief or flirt were present. Hange's expression was one of pure focus, teeth biting into the lower lip. "Do you by any chance know who Zeke Yeager is?"
Of course, he knew, how could he not? Zeke Yeager was one of the wealthiest people in the city, one of the most influential businessman and one of the biggest pricks Levi had a pleasure to shake hands with.
And judging by Hange's demeanor, they knew all about him as well. So Levi skipped all the details, and settled on, "Zeke Yeager? The same guy who owns the factory you've decided to break in, four-eyes?"
"I didn't do it on a whim, Levi."
Unfortunately, Levi knew that too. Hange never did something without a clear intent in mind, even if sometimes that intent was simply a desire to tease and fuck (quite literally) with him.
This time, the serious expression and lack of awful pick-up lines meant that Hange didn't come here to cause mischief. And the only other option left was...
Fuck. Something bad was going on. Something that turned Hange from a sort-of villain to a straight up vigilante.
The night was getting better and better with each second.
"I've noticed something a while ago," Hange started to explain. "Ran some tests, did some research, and now I'm hundred percent sure - there is something in the water."
Something in the water? Levi didn't like the sound of it, not a single bit.
"I've investigated all possible sources, and they all led me here, to Yeager's factory. I think he's poisoning the water to-"
"Increase the sales of his pharmaceutical company?"
Levi hated how logical and fucking evil his own guess sounded. Of course, the idiots, who dressed in silly costumes and broke inside banks and factories just to flirt with him, weren't the true villains. That honor belonged to people Levi couldn't fight, the ones who were completely untouchable, and on some days, seemed to be undefeatable as well.
"Do you have any proof?"
Hange motioned to the glowing computer screen. "Was in the middle of getting it, when you caught me."
Levi massaged the bridge of his nose, willing away an incoming migraine. "And?"
"It's bad," came Hange's somber reply.
Of course, it was. Why was he expecting something different?
"Okay," he pushed the hair back from his face. "Alright. Give me that evidence, I'll send it to Erwin-"
"No, Levi," said Hange, unusually serious. "Sorry, but I can't let you take care of this. Not alone."
Levi raised an eyebrow. "Who said I'm going to be alone? Or you're so against of working by my side?"
"Oh," in the unnatural lighting of the lab, Hange's eyes glinted almost maniacally, reminding Levi that their other nickname - the mad scientist - was as much deserved as the one they've chosen themself, humanity's smartest. "You want to join forces with the dark side, my dear hero? Want me to work from the bottom, while you work from the top and then meet up in the middle? So what you're proposing is... collaboration?"
Levi scoffed. Collaboration. They weren't hip-hop artists. "I propose a partnership."
"A partnership?" Hange pulled their lips into a smirk, warm breath caressing Levi's cheek. "You want to be my partner, humanity's strongest?"
"Temporarily," he curtly replied.
"A partnership all the same," Hange shrugged. Then, pressed their chest against his, lips hovering above his. "I think we should seal the deal."
"Not the worst of your ideas," he agreed, raising to his tiptoes to meet Hange in the middle.
They were interrupted just as their lips touched.
"Humanity's strongest and smartest? So the rumors were true?"
Levi shuddered, as he recognised the voice of Pieck Finger, Zeke's personal assistant.
With Hange's arms still wrapped around him, he turned, staring at the barrel of a gun. Ah, nothing (except the idiot, who thought that wearing a three-piece suit with a ridiculous bowtie to a break-in was a good decision - both from logical and fashion standpoint) made his heart pump harder.
"Pieck!" Hange exclaimed, with a wide smile on their face. "My dear, it's been so long! How is work?"
Pieck made a face. "Awful, considering you're here. By the way, you have thirty seconds before I start shooting."
"Ah, yes, I don't think I want that. An injury would add so many complications. Goodbye, Pieck!" Hange opened the nearest window, their grappling hook at the ready. Before they disappeared into the night, they pulled Levi closer, giving him a kiss that Pieck had interrupted. "I'll be waiting in your apartment, you've promised a sparring match."
Then, they were gone, and Levi was left alone with Pieck.
"Jesus, what a weirdo," Pieck ran a hand through her hair. "They even had you wrapped around their finger."
Levi decide not to dignify that quip with a response. He tilted his head to the side, studying the woman in front of him. "Why didn't you shoot?" he asked, at last. "Are you a friend of-" Hange, he almost said but quickly caught himself. He wasn't sure if Hange revealed their true identity to Pieck or not; better to be safe than sorry. "Of four-eyes?"
"It's not that," Pieck replied. "My motivation is much simpler."
"And that is?"
"I don't want to live in a city, ruined by Zeke's handmade plague. So if you can stop him," she hid her gun and showed Levi a smile. "I'll be much obliged."
"Will do everything in my power," Levi assured, then corrected himself. "We both will."
"I'm counting on you," she was already turning to the door, when she added, "Oh, and, humanity's strongest? Please do try to do something with the fashion sense of our smartest. That bowtie is making my eyes burn."
"Can't promise anything, but I'll try all the same."
"Please do. And keep them safe, they are a friend."
Without another word, Pieck left. Wasting no more than a second to process the bewildering conversation with Zeke's assistant, Levi hurried to flee from the factory as well.
After all, a sparring match was waiting for him.

Seven “Best” Character Arcs in AOT by GameRant
This list is just all over the place, so here’s my two cents..... https://gamerant.com/attack-on-titan-best-character-arcs/ 7) Sasha Freaking Braus earns her rightful place on this list alongside the main three and in actuality is FAR more deserving of her placement there than some of them are. She may be a secondary character but she became a fan favorite for a reason. And I am still not about to shake on my stance that she is EASILY far better developed than Mikasa, despite only get a fraction of focus. Sasha easily could’ve been the main girl of the series and it would’ve been far more satisfying. More testament to what a criminal decision it was to allow Assassin’s Bullet to EVER be published. It was not just a bad call on Isayama’s part, it was an ABUSE.
6) Armin Arlert certainly earns his spot, going from a shirking coward to arguably a better strategist than Hange Zoe or even Erwin Smith. Too bad the final season undermines this badly with his failure to field the Colossal Titan when it really could’ve come in handy, his nonsensical promotion to commander of the Survey Corps which for all intents and purposes was functionally destroyed by that time, and of course his infamous final exchange with Eren. Nevertheless......Armin does earn his spot for his growth in the story preceding the timeskip.
5) Like Sasha, Hange Zoe’s demise is one hundred percent UNJUSTIFIED. She is a truly great character (Whether you choose to refer to her as male or female, however you roll) and like Sasha has an infectious personality, not to mention her great intellect which made her an effective warrior against the Titans. But......her character growth is kind of static. And once again, the goddamned timeskip didn’t do her any favors, making her come off as an incompetent commander who failed to subdue a betrayal from the likes of Floch and his fellow Yeagerists, and as many a fan will tell you, she NEVER GOT A BACKSTORY. Too many questions left unanswered about the Regiment’s third or fourth most senior soldier.
4) Annie Leonhart, you gotta be kidding me. Story takes almost a decade to find a place for her again and she doesn’t regret any of her past actions......And she walked for her crimes despite being partially responsible for provoking Eren into setting off the Rumbling. That’s not character development.......That’s evidence that Annie should’ve died back during the Female Titan Arc. The bare minimum is afforded to her in the timeskip after her rather contrived return. As I’ve said before, TOO LITTLE TOO LATE.
3) Mikasa Motherfucking Ackerman............Do I really need to repeat myself on this one? On why she doesn’t earn her spot on this list?
2) Eren Yeager. One word for his arc: BASTARDIZATION. People thought Anakin Skywalker’s transition to Darth Vader was handled clumsily no thanks to the prequels. But that’s peanuts compared to Eren’s descent into madness. One of the biggest criticisms of the ending of Titan is how it completely undermines Eren’s motivations for why he did everything he did, with this insultingly forced predestination subplot that shows he was evil all along......A revelation that subverts everything previously established. And all for a world-destroying revenge scheme that it’s hinted he knew was never gonna truly succeed in the end. That said, I am in the crowd that considers Eren Yeager to be effectively discredited as both a protagonist and antagonist with the events of the timeskip, and he may very well be the weakest link due to its horribly misguided execution. Eren turning evil could’ve worked, but in the end......I have concluded that it was one of the worst bad calls of Attack on Titan. He absolutely should not be on any “Best Of” lists ANYWHERE.
1) Levi, the only character who truly earned his survival in the end. Too bad he was pretty badly mutilated in the final acts. He is a true badass, but I am going to say I think his character growth is somewhat lacking. Probably because he loses all the friends relevant to his growth. And YET AGAIN, the timeskip did him no favors for sidelining him through the entire War on Paradis Arc. Levi’s saving grace is that he is enough of a badass and complex character to back up the focus he has enjoyed outside of these stumbles, so while I think his growth is lacking, he as a character is still good. And he deserved a better ending than what he got, because it wasn’t satisfying in the slightest. And he’s still an infinitely stronger character than his closest rival and mystery relative, Mikasa. Perhaps the series would’ve benefitted from him being the true main protagonist.
This list doesn’t really acknowledge the deeper problems that undermines its selections, so it’s overall not reflective of how Titan handled its main cast.
But on the plus side, whoever complied this did not include that bitch Gabi Braun, easily the most unwarranted and unnecessary character in the saga. Too often praised for a character arc that simply DOES NOT MATTER. Sorry Gabi fans, but the payoff you love to tout doesn’t exist, so arguing that she was necessary to the themes and final conclusion of Titan simply hold no water. You cut her out and not much would change, except Sasha and perhaps even Eren would’ve gotten the focus they still needed in place of this bitch.
Also, NO HISTORIA OR YMIR! Seriously, what the hell?
Thoughts on this list? Thoughts on my verdicts on this list? Do tell.

𝐀𝐃𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔 ━━━ 𝐋𝐄𝐕𝐈 𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐍
𝐀𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮 | ❝In despair, he condemns his desires. Regretted, he know the consequences would be eternal and all he wanted was you. Your fiery personality, bright lips and soft skin.❞
𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭: 2310;
Genre: friends to lovers;
𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐫: Mentions of canon-typical violence. The first chapter is set before the events of the first season. Friends with benefits — so, it'll be eventual smut (like, a lot!)
𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫'𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞: English isn't my natives language, so if you spot a misspelled word or anything else, feel free to let me know.
━━━━ 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑
Some men's whish the glory, others crawl like snakes by power and there is those who live like rats in the system. However, there is a exception — and his names is Levi Ackerman. Emerged from the underground, by dust and blood, forged as a weapon at an early age and steeped in pride, he raised as humanity's strongest soldier. He carries a doctrine, imbedded in his bones: he serves to humanity, the balance and the freedom of mankind. If there is a threat, he is the man who can fight against it, ranging from cruel people to evil titans.
He was born in cruel times and did his best to survive in the Underground. He found a glory he wasn't looking for. Something many wish to through their lives, but which, for him, was irrelevant. They all bleed, they all are stuck on the Walls and share the same ended chapter: the death. The final outcome is not defined by possessions, achievements or privileges in life. The only difference was that could get death any easier and painless. Levi was not a hypocrite: he would rather a peaceful death, lying on his bed, instead of being eaten by a titan.
He rather — and is all what it is. It wasn't like if he had any choice. The Ackerman's family were designed to protect the people and to fight. They were cursed with a power. Some people could say it is a miracle in dark times. Others would argue that mans were corrupted, cruel and too ambitious to deal with that awakened power. Well, Levi knows, that no everyone were worthy to possess such ability — Kenny, that asshole, was one of them.
However, there was kind strange situation. An only exception, an affliction that hung over through the heart and maddened his mind: you.
Desire wasn't a word enough to define how he feels close to you, a fearless female warrior, who destroy each barrier he has built over the years, causing delirium with the thought of you hurt. Levi knew he would have taken a checkmate just by desiring you.
But when it all starts? He couldn't say with sure. Maybe, when he, Farlan and Isabel were recruited by the Survey Corps, and you were the only one who spoke to them without undriveable mock and trial. You, besides Erwin, didn't seem to care where they came from. As deeply loyal as you were to your comrades, you didn't depend on your interactions with them for take a direction — you were content to follow your own passions and desires without input from anyone else.
Maybe it started when he saw you in battle or an a argue with a member of Military Police Regiment. Fear is not in yours's vocabulary when you are on the battlefield or when you are speaking her mind to others.
As their partnership grew, he'd find some similarities between you, but also many differences.
You, just like him, has little patience for any form of prose or riddles when you are communicating with others. You speak bluntly and without pretense, and expects others to do the same, prefers to get to the point and doesn’t seek to romanticize your expectations or intentions. You also are focused on the present issues and what role you can play in protecting the people that you love, what can prevent you from seeing the future results of your present actions and, unlike him, does result in some impulsive and risky — yet brave— actions.
All these little things over the years, made him fall in love with you, and Levi had ways to say it without saying "I love you".
Like that night.
He wasn't hiding his disgust face when handed you a cup full of that steaming, black liquid; the simply smelling coffee could make your stomach turn, but still, he prepares a cup for you every night.
As the second in the command, you have spent several evenings together conducting the next advances of the squadron. So, there you are, sitting next to him, eyes focused on the paper, turning the pen between your fingers and... biting your lower lip.
Occasionally, almost instinctively Levi raises his eyes to you. Being so close of you was it's a unique feeling. The smell of your perfume as stunning, and his throat closes around the words he would like to say. The tension that has been brought in was too dangerous for someone like him.
Fucking woman, fucking lips. Fuck you!
''Is there a problem?'', you inquired making eye contact for the first time that night. He couldn't say if there was perversion when you wet your own lips, but Levi felt his muscles become tense and contracted when you made it.
Levi responded with a faint whimper before observed: ''You shouldn't be drinking so much coffee at this time. You look like shit when don't get sleep''.
Lie. Fucking hell, you're always beautiful, but no way he'd say what he thought.
You rolled your eyes. ''It's you who did'', you put forth.
''I wasn't in the mood to put up with a brat attitude from you.''
''Brat? You know that we have about the same age, don't you?'', your gaze traveled from the figure sat in front of you to the window, confused as to why you would be embarrassed about his presence. You took in a breath before adding: ''Anyway, don't want sleep.''
There was a pause for a few seconds. You and he eyed each other.
''Why?'', he asks, authoritative one.
You shrugged and shook your head firmly. ''It doesn't matter.''
''If it doesn't matter, why would I have asked that?''
"Cause you're snooper”, you smirked.
''I'm not a snooper, brat."
He felt his heart begin to quicken when you carried the pen to your lips and start biting.
"Yes, you are a horrible snooper old man, bossy and with an astonishing mania for cleanliness."
"Old? You know we have about the same age”; he repeats. His eyes drifted back to your face, noticing your gaze had shifted again to the woods beyond the window. "And you're avoiding the question", he softly says (at least as softy as he could be), interrupting your rampant thoughts. "Are you alright?"
Levi watches in silence as you'd shoulders slump.
"I can't sleep. My mind has the scary capability of being evil, although I always thought that one day it'd get better", you're voice was low and flat, quiet and a little sad as you spoke to Levi, who seemed to know what are you exactly referred to and only nodded at your words. "I feel guilty. All the time."
Even in the darkness the room held, your eyes find his greys one like the starlight's.
''Are you afraid of your dreams, too?'', you asked, never expecting the humanity strongest soldier to have any fears.
'Yes'', he said quietly.
You nodded with hesitation, his words repainting in your head as you struggled to forma a sentence to answered.
Levi was used to such sadness, he had month's — no, years — to griever over the deaths of his mother and friends. Death was not uncommon thing in his life. His childhood who should be carefree, playing in the sun, was like a living nightmare, learning to fight in the darkness of Underground. Later, when he left the place to join the Survey Corps, he accepted to live in that never ending tragedy that people had sadly grown used to. Death was more common in that job than anything else, and he knows how badly it fuck with his mind.
“I’m beginning to think we’re a lot alike… you and me. We’re both strange cast, who’ve learned to fight when we’re backed into a corner'', you began weakly.
''Well, we’re backed into a corner now. Two fucking insomniacs”, he shook his head, thinking about your words. He didn't seem to like the way your voice sounded sadder. You raised your eyes to him again as he slowly spoke: ''You're not alone''
You answered a tiny smile onto your lips. Levi felt his cheeks burn and opposite glanced to your empty coffee cup, thinking that he'll able to always tolerate your strange addiction.
A few second later you both went back to work, and Levi was left with words stuck, temptation planted in the mind and a sure thing for him: the insomniac nights would become better by you.
【 ━━ 】
Inside Wall Sheena, guests were arriving, among them five members of the Scout Regiment - consisting mostly of commanders - walked through the gates, exuding self-confidence, bitter to participate in that boring and stupid meeting.
Little lies, little social sacrifices to feed what kept the Scout Regiment going: funding.
It was not necessary to be an expert in politics to see beyond the traditional veil of those events, to perceive the intentions of certain parliamentarians, very sadistic. Knowing it was part of your job to relate to these kinds of people annoyed you.
For one minute, you saw out of the corner of your eyes, the first on your command. The man of grey eyes used a black suit that fits perfectly. Be present in an event with so many politics didn't seem to his liking. Was kind of hard for all of you play nice one with all this tension in the air.
You've never felt the feeling of fear and tension like that inside the Walls before.
''Stop frowning before you break your face''
'It would be so sad, and you would cry for being depriving of that beautiful face''
''Oh, fuck yourself'', he says, angrily.
''If you watch''
You smirched at his expression as he looks up to you, after seeing your face, he turns away.
''Watch your words, brat''
''Or what, old man? What will you do to me?''
He looks back up at you.
''I could break you habit of drinking coffee, put you to clean all the HQ or even to help Hange with the experiments. The three together seems good, by the way''
You roll your eyes.
''You're mean''
'You're annoying'', he replied. ''And you know, if you keep rolling your eyes one day their going to get stuck like that''
''Are you trying to be funny?''
His little grin showed up making you roll eyes into a smile. He was terribly bossy and annoying, but you like that about him.
You took the glass of wine to your lips and raised your eyes to hit his. Levi hovered over you, making you felt that flame into your heart once more. Your eyes tailed down to Levi's lips then back to his eyes. You could feel your heart beating recklessly.
Fucking grey eyes, fucking black suit. Fuck you!
You felt a thumb on your cheeks, making them burn.
''You look...'', he started whispered and slightly caress your cheeks. Your body started to get hot under his soft touch. ''... beautiful. You look beautiful''
You were speechless.
You liked the sudden ardor, of the dangerous attraction, of folly and frivolous with provocative sins. Liked and thought how the taste of his lips would be: the indomitable, the irresistible, the powerful and sin.
He slowly dragged his hand down to my thorax wrapping his hands around it. A soft gasp escaped of your lips.
''You know... If you want dance, it'll not rude to ask'', you try to say. ''The song is awful, but I'm not a demanding partner''
''Only if you don’t step on my foot''
His prepotency make you smile.
''Don’t be a bad partner and there will be no mistakes'', you retorted, making him raised one of the eyebrows. ''That's how a men should behave next to a woman''
He took you in his arms, abruptly, making the bodies collide with intensity. You gasped, very close to Levi's ears, who felt the hairs stand on the back of his neck. Leading you through music, in no second was the look averted, in a battle for unknown control.
You and Levi explored a unique experience.
He stares burned deep into your body. His touch on your skin made your body tingle.
Fuck, control yourself. Don't get turned on by him!
He didn't say anything, just left you hold into him. You could feel your body burning around him. What was he doing to you? It felt like a spell. The effect of sin, of desire. You should get rid of that, all you needed least were distractions in the workplace and ruin the friendship, trust and partnership that you two took so long to build.
However, both keep looking to each other longer than friends should. Longer than friends should...
He could saw you lost inside your mind. Slowly, he pulled down his fingers, lazily touching the skin of your exposed back by the dress. Levi's vision was blinded by the desire his image represented. The surroundings smelled wine and fruits, intoxicating his sense. The ears, doomed to hear the political bullshit. His tact could burn by touching you. His taste? It was dangerous, because wanted to discover the taste of your lips and body.
But not now, not here.
You are his friend — the only who was left. In despair, he condemns his desires. Regretted, he knew the consequences would be eternal and all he wanted was you. Your fiery personality, bright lips and soft skin.
To hell all of that. When you both got back, he'll fucked you, every way that he can thinking off. He wants to pound into you, slammed into you and give the best night that you ever have. He wants to kiss every inch of your skin.
''Good girl'', he whispers next to your ears. ''But I'll show you how true men should behave next to a woman when we get back''
