I realized I could put them all together and have it not eat up people's whole dashes Color of the Sky style. Character portraits from a giant cast picture I did for a fantasy project that did not end on good terms. Its painful to look at the big piece still, so here's mine cut out since there's still a lot of art I'm proud of from it.

I'm happiest with how Cain and Rein turned out. But it's hard to top Boots.

but but onto the question—would alois, if given the opportunity, resurrect his dead family? would he disturb their rest if only to spend more time with them, as he's wished ever since their passing? and if he did resurrect them, whether on accident or by choice or like. pure desperation in the earlier days of his mourning. how would they react? I find myself interested in your ocs, especially the leblanc family ( especially the twins, yvonne and alois 🥰🥰🥰 my loves) and I'd like to know more abt them!! so feel free to rant about them through this ask, I'm happy to hear everything!!

Interesting! I think that canon Alois learns to respect death - it isn't death that took is his family, it was vampire hunters. Also, it would be impossible for him to resurrect Odette, Elaine, Laurens and Yvonne as there is little to nothing left of their bodies. Necromancy requires a body with all vital organs intact. He would not disrespect death by trying to take that which it has claimed. Dark! Alois, however, absolutely would - he takes what he wants.

Ambroise used his golden child status to get Estienne second desserts all the time wherever they went. He was always aware of his special treatment compared to his brother who was not so genetically lucky and so he would use it to get his younger twin nice things when possible.

The first the Estienne's parents caught a young vampire man leaving his chambers, they weren't too sure what to think. (Odette was mostly thankful that it wasn't one of her heirs who would need to produce more heirs) but Ambroise quickly warmed them up to the idea by interjecting that the church wouldn't like it! It natually made the Leblanc parents much happier about their second son's bisexuality.

Yvonne has a habit of lurking around the estate. She's naturally incredibly quiet and stealthy and, for fun, she likes to use these skills to sneak up on her family members. She can be standing behind them for whole minutes before they turn around to see her and she is amused by their fright.
