ive been thinking about john and matyas' relationship so so bad oouuhgh. the way that throughout the festival that they objectively feed into one anothers religious delusion and become somewhat codependent on one another in a way.......

goddd. the way that john's reverence of matyas ends up in him spiralling into viewing himself as a prophet of the gods themselves (due to a lack of understanding of his visions/premonitions, unlike other canonical enlightened souls i wanted to do a take that wasnt a scholar or magic user,,) and inherently above the other contestants, culminating in him setting the hotel ablaze on day 3 evening and effectively killing any contestants inside (similarly to henryk's prhvl bop poisoning, the hotel in 1st round would hypothetically be the "safe place" equivalent to the train as the contestants were already in the city) as he finally snaps and is at the absolute height of his insanity thanks to john adding fuel to the fire of his easily suggestive and fragile mind,,,,

his moonscorch would be called 'the prophet' i do think, itd be one of the few coherent ones i feel but not entirely, moreso capable of speech the same way that dysmorphia is? im still yet to redesign it but. shrugs!!!

i cant speak on carol's behalf on john with matyas but goddddd. theyre so so evil to me i love them so dearly
