Tumblr is a honest platform (a good indicator is the humor - I prefer to having) so here there is no space for stupid games like selling nft-s, but I won't judge you, after the merge perhaps myself will release (mint) some since it is became a bit more environmentally friendly:) Art is not just about making money, but what art purpose is - it is a question you should answer for yourself first. Our next theatre piece (Midas, the story of a King) will be dealing with this question beside others - turning the world into Gold and the process of it which kills everything around you..

What is Ethereum Merge?
Introduction
One of the biggest and most well-known cryptocurrencies, Ethereum, has seen a dramatic change known as the Ethereum Merge. The Ethereum network's functionality and underlying technology have been completely transformed by this update. Through the merging, the existing proof-of-work (PoW) consensus method will give way to a proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus mechanism, which is more effective and ecologically friendly.
Understanding the Ethereum Merge
The core component of Ethereum 2.0, the Beacon Chain, will be integrated with the current Ethereum mainnet as part of the Ethereum Merge. The Beacon Chain uses a proof-of-stake consensus mechanism and was put into use in December 2020.
It is in charge of overseeing the validator nodes and organising the Ethereum network's consensus. The Ethereum network hopes to maintain the current features and uses of the Ethereum ecosystem while gaining access to the scalability and energy efficiency of the PoS consensus mechanism by combining the Beacon Chain with the Ethereum mainnet.
Why is The Merge important?
For the Ethereum network, the merge is very important for a number of reasons. It first tackles the scalability issues that the existing proof-of-work system is facing. PoS consensus improves network throughput overall, speeds up transaction processing, and lessens congestion. The increased scalability of Ethereum presents opportunities for its wider adoption and practical uses.
Ethereum's shift to proof of stake
The Ethereum Merge is a significant change from proof of work to proof of stake in the underlying consensus process. Miners must solve challenging mathematical puzzles as part of Proof of Work in order to validate transactions and safeguard the network. Proof of Stake, on the other hand, depends on validators who keep and "stake" their Ethereum holdings as security in order to approve and suggest new blocks.
Compared to Proof of Work, Proof of Stake has a number of advantages. By providing financial incentives, it lowers the risk of centralization, does away with the requirement for pricey mining equipment, and increases network security.
What is the Shanghai Upgrade?
An essential part of the Ethereum Merge is the Shanghai Upgrade. This update, which takes its name from the Ethereum Foundation's Devcon Shanghai event, attempts to integrate the Ethereum mainnet and the Beacon Chain. The groundwork for Ethereum's shift to a proof-of-stake consensus mechanism will be laid by the merging of these two elements.
The Ethereum network has undergone numerous technological advancements and improvements as part of the Shanghai Upgrade. It entails the deployment of the Beacon Chain fork, which permits Ethereum 2.0 and the Ethereum mainnet to coordinate and synchronise.
Risks of the Ethereum Merge
Even though the merger offers a lot of advantages and prospects, it's important to think about the possible hazards involved with such a significant network improvement. The potential for unforeseen technical difficulties during the shift is one of the main dangers. Careful preparation and testing are necessary to achieve a smooth integration and preserve network security while integrating the Beacon Chain with the Ethereum mainnet.
The effect on already-existing Ethereum-based smart contracts and decentralised apps (dApps) is another possible concern. It will be up to developers to check if their apps work with the new consensus process and make any necessary modifications.

Major blockchain network upgrades in 2022?
Luna 2.0
Ethereum 2.0
XDC's XDPoS 2.0
The major blockchain upgrades of 2022
What is Luna 2.0?
Terra Luna's version was upgraded to Terra Luna 2.0 in the second quarter of 2022. Where the previous existing blockchain was split into two blockchains. The previous chain and the new chain exist at the same time but operate differently.
2. Ethereum 2.0?
The Ethereum Merge is the transition of the network from PoW to PoS consensus. It is the biggest and most significant upgrade in the crypto sector. In the third quarter, the schedule has been successfully upgraded.
3. XDC's XDPoS 2.0?
After a year of beta testing, XDPoS 2.0 is expected to be implemented in the first quarter of 2023. It is considered a significant advancement within the XDC network and is by far the most complex upgrade since its inception. And with this execution, XDC will be switched from XDPoS 1.0 to XDPoS 2.0.

What is Ethereum Merge
One of the most well-known and important cryptocurrencies, Ethereum, has undergone a substantial change known as the Ethereum Merge. The core technology and how the Ethereum network functions have been revolutionised by this upgrade. The merging signifies a switch from the current proof-of-work (PoW) consensus process to a proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus mechanism that is more effective and ecologically friendly.
Understanding the Ethereum Merge
The mainstay of Ethereum 2.0, the Beacon Chain, will be merged with the current Ethereum mainnet as part of the Ethereum Merge. The Beacon Chain uses a proof-of-stake consensus mechanism and went live in December 2020.
Why is The Merge important?
For the Ethereum network, the merge is extremely important for a number of reasons. It begins by addressing the scalability issues the present proof-of-work technique has. Faster transaction processing, less congestion, and improved overall network throughput are all made possible by the PoS consensus method. This increase in scalability makes it possible for Ethereum to be more widely adopted and used in practical applications.
Ethereum's shift to proof of stake
The Ethereum Merge is a significant change from proof of work to proof of stake in the underlying consensus process. Miners must solve challenging mathematical puzzles to validate transactions and safeguard the network via Proof of Work. Proof of Stake, in contrast, depends on validators who keep and "stake" their Ethereum holdings as security to approve and suggest new blocks.
What is the Shanghai Upgrade?
A crucial part of the Ethereum Merge is the Shanghai Upgrade. This upgrade, which bears the name of the Ethereum Foundation's Devcon Shanghai conference, intends to integrate the Beacon Chain with the Ethereum mainnet. These two elements' combination will lay the groundwork for Ethereum's switch to the proof-of-stake consensus algorithm.
The Ethereum network has undergone numerous technical advancements as a result of the Shanghai Upgrade. It entails the Beacon Chain fork's implementation, allowing for the coordination and synchronisation of Ethereum 2.0 and the mainnet.
Risks of the Ethereum Merge
Although the merger offers a number of advantages and prospects, it is important to think about the possible hazards involved with such a significant network improvement. The potential for unforeseen technical difficulties during the shift is one of the main dangers. To achieve a seamless merger and uphold the network's security, the Beacon Chain must be merged with the Ethereum mainnet after careful preparation and testing.
The effect on current Ethereum-based smart contracts and decentralised applications (dApps) is another possible issue. Developers must make any necessary modifications and guarantee that their apps are compatible with the new consensus process.
