Im thinking of making another dazai bot but idk what to make the scenario 🤔🤔🤔 i just want him to be goofy and silly
Any ideas?
I honestly dunno man I'm part of the anti ai stuff n what not so I honestly couldn't really care that much (no offense)
Reminds of that random ass essay I wrote in an insta gc tho
(Said essay::
AI: the technological advancement that seems to do more harm than good.
ai, standing for artificial intelligence has been a huge dream for people since the early ages if technology, yet now that it is a general part of technology, being commonly used by many people, it seems to not be as great as we thought.
Of course ai in itself is an amazing idea, but with the conditions required to generate things, along with the people that use it, the idea seems to be going downhill.
this essay will be discussing the mang problems with using ai, with many being ethical issues.
to keep things easy, everything will be divided into sections, with the main few being:
-privacy and data problems
-environmental issues
-effects of ai in the arts department
these topics are extremely controversial, with opinions being divided between many people. however, it is best to consider everything before jumping to conclusions. with this, we will get into the first section.
SECTION 1: Privacy and data problems.
to almost no ones surprise, there have been multiple cases of ai breaching people's privacy. whether that be through images of children used in the wrong way, or through data potentially being stolen.
it's best to bring up the fact that ai can be used to hack systems and steal private data now, as it has been proven that due to the development of ai, one of the most reliable security systems online, the captcha, is now being breached. if you have ever been on the internet, you have definitely used a captcha. A captcha is used to differentiate between humans and bots, with it having questions seemingly only humans can answer. however, due to the advancement of ai, the captcha questions can quickly be analyzed by the ai and answered, just as they would by a human. this can cause serious harm for billions of people all over the world, with much of their information now becoming vulnerable.
a different case of ai breaching data, has been experienced by many people.
Francesca Mani, a 14 year old high school student found that other students in her school had used ai to generate inappropriate pictures of her without her consent. however, she wasn't the only victim. the same thing had happened to many other girls in her school, and even more for girls from other schools. around 30 other similar cases had been found in the US, within the short span of 20 months. it was quite impossible to find the culprits, to say the least.
the story of Francesca Mani, is one that has happened to many young people all over the world. and it can happen to anyone anytime. is it really worth saving a few hours worth of time if allows the chance for something like this to happen?
SECTION 2: Environmental impact.
I believe it's obvious that ai has a huge impact on the environment. as one content creator discussing this topic said, there aren't a bunch little fairies doing all the work. ai requires a huge amount of hardware. these hardwares take up lots of space and generate even more heat. to make sure a fire doesn't break out everytime some random kid types in a prompt so that he doesnt have to do his homework, they need to keep the hardware cooled. and the easiest way to cool something as huge as an ai hardware station is water. but the catch is, they need a lot of water. emphasis on lot. the warmer the region, the more water it consumes, and the fact that America has over 1000 ai data processing centers, china 449 and india 152 speaks for how much water is used.
not only that, but there's an even more obvious problem here, which is the amount of space these data centers use. there are even data centers over 2km large, and combined with the other things such as the cooling towers and water reservoirs, the hardware used for ai takes up a huge chunk of space. the more space they need, the more trees are cut. or the more buildings are demolished. I think we all know what happens if there aren't enough trees as it has been discussed multiple times by other people and when it comes to buildings, the problem is simple. when you tear down a building, there's obviously gonna be a lot of dust. the more dust there is, the more air pollution there is. and air pollution really isn't something that we want.
it's better to just think things up by yourself instead of using ai. you help save water by doing this, and plus, your thoughts don't need hundreds of kilometers worth of space. they can fit right inside your head.
SECTION 3: how ai affects the art department
the elephant in the room and the most popular ai discussion topic, how ai affects the arts industry. if you don't live under a rock, then I am sure you have seen many artists against ai for this very reason. and honestly, they do have a point. you see, ai needs examples to create things. whether it be an essay about bombs or an image of naturally beautiful people distorted and made ugly, ai can't make it by itself. it takes multiple examples and combines them to create a final output. most of the people who generate art-like images using ai can't draw, because if they could then they would just pick up a pencil or open their trusty drawing app. so they take art from other artists without consent. in other words they steal art from artists to feed it to ai. they take a bunch of drawings, mix them up and generate a picture. because of this, many artists have their livelihoods affected, with their works value decreasing. I don't think that you would want to make an artists jobless for just a few pictures. other than artists, it also affects writers online. it's the same process, just with text instead of pictures. the worst thing is, a lot of the text fed to ai is actually from something seemingly mainly for kids; fanfiction. it may sound crazy, but it is true. the random things that some 12-14 year old girl writes in wattpad is used to create your essays (be ashamed.)
because if things like these, many people in the arts department have given up their work, or stopped showing it to the public.
for this I'd like to ask one thing; was it worth making someone give up their passion for your own convenience?
the thing that you could have just asked someone to do, the type of thing that you would've gotten a whole range of emotions and spirit in, was it worth doing it with ai to receive a soulless piece, with no real feelings?
I will end this essay with the opinion of the co-founder of studio Ghibli, hayao Miyazaki, on ai.
as he once said, after seeing an animation made by ai "it is an insult to life itself.")
I was on something okay

The Growing Importance of Cybersecurity in IoT Devices
In today's hyperconnected world, the Internet of Things (IoT) is transforming how we live and work. From smart homes to industrial automation, IoT devices are becoming an integral part of our daily lives. However, with this rapid growth comes an equally rapid increase in cyber threats. The need for robust cybersecurity in IoT devices has never been greater.
The IoT Revolution and Risks:
IoT devices are set up to ease lives, but it also involves certain risks with this convenience. There is vulnerability with the likes of smart thermostats, connected security cameras, wearable fitness trackers, or industrial machinery, because these devices all come under hacking opportunities. Through such vulnerabilities, hackers may hack unauthorized, obtain sensitive information, or disable key systems.
For instance, a hacked smart home device might give the attacker access to the homeowner's personal data or even control over their home's systems. Industrial IoT breaches can be a larger threat that might lead to disruptions in manufacturing or energy sectors with severe implications.
The devices of the Internet of Things usually lack serious security measures and therefore become vulnerable to cyber criminals. Many are delivered with the default password, with old firmware or even low-grade encryption; that leaves open a door to be attacked. In general, this vulnerability is made worse because an IoT network will have more than one device in communication with another. One device could become the access point of a gateway into a full network.
The Role of Ethical Hacking in Securing IoT
To this end, cybersecurity experts are increasingly employing ethical hacking as a way to find and remediate vulnerabilities in IoT systems. Ethical hackers, often referred to as "white hat" hackers, utilize their expertise to probe for vulnerabilities in a system before an actual hacker could take advantage of the weakness.
Cyberspace security and ethical hacking courses may be subscribed to, which will train aspiring professionals to secure various IoT devices and networks. These topics include penetration testing, secure coding, as well as network defense strategies suited for IoT environments.
What Can You Do to Stay Safe?
1. Update Regularly: Make sure all IoT devices have the latest firmware updates and patches.
Use Powerful Passwords: Change default passwords with strong unique passwords.
Secure Network: Use a powerful Wi-Fi password and apply network encryption.
Use Minimum Permissions: Give IoT devices the minimum permission required.
Know Cyber Security: Enroll yourself in a cyber security and ethical hacking course that would enhance your knowledge further to protect their devices.
IoT Future Security
As IoT grows, so does the necessity for advanced security. This practice is beginning to have regulations and standards in place from governments and industries for increased security. However, individual awareness and action will remain a critical engine for change.
By prioritizing cybersecurity and investing in ethical hacking knowledge, we can ensure that the IoT revolution brings convenience without compromising safety. Protecting IoT devices isn't just a technical challenge—it's a responsibility we all share. At this juncture, the relationship between IoT and cybersecurity is bound to be of challenges and opportunities. The higher the number of connected devices grows, the bigger the potential is for innovation, and for exploitation. Enroll in a cyber security and ethical hacking course and be ready to stay a step ahead of the threats towards a safer digital future.
Join the IoT revolution; join it with security. All power to the hands of those who can.
