If a vampire gave you the choice, would you accept the Blood and become immortal? Why/Why not?
I would WANT to, just for the chance to do/see/read/experience everything the world has to offer and prance around in fabulous outfits while getting into homoerotic beefs with the same 4 people forever...
But in practice, I just don't think I could past the whole murder thing. The existential malaise I could deal with I think. Maybe I could do little drinks like Thorne? If so, then yes 🧛♀️
Thanks for the ask!

I feel like many people have a fundamental misconception of what unreliable narrator means. It's simply a narrative vehicle not a character flaw or a sign that the character is a bad person. There are also many different types of unreliable narrators in fiction. Being an unreliable narrator doesn't necessarily mean that the character is 'wrong', it definitely doesn't mean that they're wrong about everything even if some aspects in their story are inaccurate, and only some unreliable narrators actively and consciously lie. Stories that have unreliable narrators also tend to deal with perception and memory and they often don't even have one objective truth, just different versions. It reflects real life where we know human memory is highly unreliable and vague and people can interpret same events very differently

there’s no way we spent 2 seasons discussing how much of an unreliable narrator louis is just for yall to believe him when he said armand bite daniel out of spite and fall into the assumption that the writers won’t do devil’s minion justice
im gonna touch y’all’s hand when i say this…louis doesn’t know shit

"Louis and Armand were still in love in Dubai!!" "Louis and Armand never loved each other!!" - no. it's worse. they were on the precipice of something good, but Armand couldn't recognize that, so he ruined everything they had, right when Louis had actually come to love him. the love was there for a fleeting moment and it was ruined irreversibly, never to return, even after decades they'd spent together out of desperation and spite. it's worse and that's the point

i know we talk about chuck chair armand but have we ever talked about daniel not really being that into it? like all daniel wants is armand and yet he sleeps with these people armand brings back and why? if he doesn't enjoy it, why do it? i think daniel sleeps with these people to please armand because he believes that it's what armand wants but what armand wants is daniel. i think, in some sick twisted way, armand is echoing his relationship with marius.

do yall think madeleine is going to feel guilty when she and claudia are sentenced to death/about to be killed because she was the one that suggested they go see louis one last time, or do you think they were always doomed to die because armand was going to have them killed regardless of whether or not they went to see louis again. im flinging myself off a building btw.

Now i hope even more than before that Lestat and Daniel get to meet. Daniel wouldn't be charmed by Lestat and would absolutely eviscerate him, but i think Lestat would literally lose his mind. Like imagine Lestat finding out Louis has formed a deep vaguely romantic relationship with a 70 year old divorced washed up reporter and followed his life for 50 years and shared his most intimate secrets with him. Lestat would be ready to fight Armand and every other vampire and all the conceivable supernatural powers in the world over Louis, and then he finds out he needs to fight some old human dude from California. I think he would collapse like a neutron star

ever think about how when louis was asking armand to witness madeleine's turning, he was basically inviting him into the family by asking him to attend his daughter's wedding/hold his hand in the delivery room. and when armand essentially replies "i will not go unless you force me to" he tells him he doesn't have to and reassures him. and then what goes on in their respective heads in that exact moment are:
louis: oh damn the maitre stuff is not just a sex thing he actually like can't hold a conversation like a human being. oh but he's so sad... there there loser boyfriend... why does nobody ever want to have babies with me :/
armand: *has just sentenced louis to death*

louis is saur funny because he chalks up everything about his attachment to lestat to their ‘vampire bond’ but louis was a human whole being when he went out with that man every night even after he saw him stop time and read minds. he was a human whole being when for their first time, he had a threesome with that man and let him literally drink his actual blood. he was a Human Whole Being when he kissed and devoted himself to that man in a church on the day of his brother’s funeral after said man killed and maimed two priests (one who louis clearly knew very personally) before his very damn eyes. this is a not a ‘what came first the chicken or the egg’ situation mr du lac. the court finds that you were dickmatized before you were ever vampire bonded.
