Act 3 astarion quest has me unwell. The sobbing desperation. The I can be better than him. I am more than a thing to be used, the thing created by him. Everything about me is tainted by him but I can choose to be different and be new even if everything about the me Before has been forcibly taken from me. The visiting your own grave. The finally wanting to live again. Maybe never seeing the sun again is the price of freedom. Maybe it means more when it's something freely given. Even if it stings.
I'm unWELL

Want to bet that at some point Danny with Tuckers help rigs up a livestream of the inside of the Fenton Fridge™ to try and catch how long it takes the hotdogs to turn into ghosts. Mostly he just wants some idea of when to clean out the fridge to prevent sudden hotdog attacks. No one outside of Amity Park takes it serious and thinks it is just a joke. A more boring version of a watch the lettuce outlast the politician only they don't know the context of the joke.
Then the live stream starts to glitch. Weird artifacting and fuzzing along the edges of the hotdog package form. A few people start to notice the odd items in the fridge like the specimen sample container filled with what looks like lime green jello. That sometimes the hands that rifle through it to take stuff out are wearing protective gloves.
The ARG people start to trickle into the stream and pick through past footage and Danny's other videos. His channel which had just a dozen or so followers ticks upwards and people join in on the new "Fridge Livestream ARG".
With his friends help Danny leans hard into letting people think it is an AGR. Tucker on the digital side with allowing more controlled bursts of the ecto-interfearence on the stream. Rigging up custom emots, notifications, and a donation page. Sam helps provide creepy ghost vegetables and fruit. Undergrowth's contact in the city has caused some creepy garden hotspots that grow super weird vegetables. Like potatoes that look like screaming faces or carrots with ridges like closed eyes. Danny starts moving the overflow of lab fridge stuff into the regular fridge things. Instead of them being banished to the drawer of shame Jazz created. Timing swapping the stuff into place with the bursts of artifacting Tucker lets through.

Red Tape tied in a bow (P1 | P2 | P3) (Patreon)
Also decided to give a go to the caption thing again since this one’s rather dialogue-heavy!
[Panel 2]
Peepers: Uhm...sir?
Hater: What.
Peepers: Could you- do you have the full paperwork on our health plan?
[Panel 3]
Hater: Health plan? Peepers what in grop’s name are you talking about??
[Panel 4]
Peepers: It’s really no big thing, I just wanted to see what was (and wasn’t) covered-
[Panel 5]
Hater: Commander Peepers. Are you planning to commit insurance fraud on my dime? And you’re asking me how?
[Panel 7]
Peepers: P- hahahaha! I would never dream of it, Lord Hater!
[Panel 8]
Hater: Then-?
Peepers: I just want to see what’s covered, sir. Like I said already...
[Panel 9]
Hater: Hrmph. It’s all personally approved by me, so feel free to ask, Commander.

dream i just woke up from:
i was taking a bath in a relatively small bathroom, and there was also some kind of party happening in the bathroom, with at least 5 strangers hanging out in there, all while im sitting in the bathtub. there was music playing, and a bunch of songs i recognized turned out to be by kendrick lamar. i was like “wow, a lot of the hits of the early 2010s were by kendrick lamar!” and a guy standing next to the bathtub was like ‘i know, right?’ and was so excited to talk to me about this that he got into the other end of the bathtub and sat down, fully clothed. and then instead of talking about kendrick lamar we talked about homestuck. ????

Maybe it's just me, but part of why I never really felt completely secure in being public about my own artistic endeavors was how... being proud of yourself in any capacity for any reason is almost a faux pas, if that makes sense.
I've noticed how it's almost expected to perform the air of humility, but is that humility? Is it humility to say, "Oh, I'm sorry for clogging your feed with my awful art" or anything to the effect of self-deprecation?
I think that's why I so often gravitate toward those who make "bad art." There's a sense of freedom that is only achieved with the level of hubris that being unashamed in the number of people who hate your art. I wonder, though, how many people don't hate the art as much as they hate that they can't chastise the artist into humility, into recognizing how "terrible" an artist they "actually" are?

One of the things I liked about Ted Lasso was Jamie's childhood room in season 3.
I am not talking about the posters on the wall, which is fantastic, but I mean the actual room. It actually looks like a room a child in a lower income family grew up in. How often do you watch a tv show and see characters' childhood or teen rooms with these big ass beds, or loft like rooms, rooms the size of main bedrooms or having the design and look of an almost professional level desginer. It used to drive me insane growing up watching characters on tv who were meant to be low or lower middle income have rooms I could only have dreamed off, or living in houses/apartments that would just be insanly high in rent or to own.
But Jamie's room is realistic of what a small home or council home room of a well loved child would look like. A single bed, a small tv, littered with childhood mementos. Maybe a little childish if teen Jamie spent a lot of time there but Jamie strikes me as always being out on the football field and not ashamed to have a room full of his childhood memories, especially in his mothers house.
Ted Lasso does a great job of keeping these characters real to life, and I think this is a great example of that.

ok just gonna say something really quick: i absolutely hate Abe's characterisation in the reboot of Clone High because it is nothing like how he acted in season 1 and it just. isn't funny. they've turned this good-intentioned but flawed loser kid who just wants to be like the original Abraham Lincoln but doesn't know how to, into a self-centered and arrogant asshole who literally almost said a horrible ableist slur twice in the first episode. like. i'm being serious, he almost says the R-slur twice in the same minute and i dunno about you but i really don't find it very funny when a) the only "joke" behind it is "oh look at how bad Abe is compared to the more progressive sensitivities of the new generation of clones, isn't he just terrible", and b) they felt the need to completely rewrite a pre-existing character that fans are already attached to to do something against his own morals for the sake of a shitty joke, and c) TOPHER WAS RIGHT THERE!!! isn't he supposed to be the asshole or am i missing something?? like...
i'm not saying you can't have "edgy" or "dark" comedy or whatever, but personally, i don't find it very funny when a character that actually means quite a lot to me and is one of my favourites is twisted and rewritten into an arrogant asshole in an apparent attempt to appeal to the people who hate Abe for his flaws in the original show. especially when he's rewritten to be someone who would say a slur that's literally been used against my fellow disabled peers, myself included. it just feels... wrong. it actually hurts a lot to see a character i once loved and found to be one of the funniest and most important characters in the show be turned into an arrogant dick, with barely any thought or meaning put into him. i don't like what they did with the rest of the OG cast as well (such as Joan making a complete 180 in her entire character, JFK's character assassination, the removal of Gandhi, Cleo barely being in it etc.), but to me, they did Abe the dirtiest in this season and i'm really disappointed that one of my favourite shows had to continue like this :(
