✍️ Litany in Which Certain Things Are Crossed Out by Richard Siken

Every morning another chapter where the hero shifts from one foot to the other. Every morning the same big and little words all spelling out desire, all spelling out You will be alone always and then you will die. So maybe I wanted to give you something more than a catalog of non-definitive acts, something other than the desperation.

For a while, I’ve had this interpretation of all the characters' extended families in the back of my mind. Since the game leaves enough room for interpretation, I've always had a vague idea of the characters' lives outside Snaktooth Island. I'd never really come up with concrete designs for most of the characters I had in mind until pretty recently.

So I figured for the sake of having more consistent references (and also for the fun of sharing these ideas with everyone), I made a few references and general outlines of the cast's families. Some things are subject to change later, but I'm pretty happy with what I've got so far.

This silly little endeavor has been a good week in the making. I definitely plan to make more references of the rest of the cast's family in a future post, but I want to at least see if there's enough interest to share the rest of what I’ve got.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to let me know! I’d be more than happy to share what I have in mind.

watching the scott tibbs documentary for the first time made things make so much sense. scott was wearing eyeliner, sometimes i thought he was wearing some kind of. maybe not lipstick but there was pigment for sure. adam's "this is the most fun i've had without lubricant". they were passing adam around like a twink bong

The Wiggles AU (wow this really needs a title so I can stop calling it that 🤣)

“How much longer?”

“He’s touching my seat!”

“She’s looking at me!”

“Are we there yet?”

The whining from the back seat gets louder by the minute, grating on Anakin’s nerves as he navigates the post concert traffic. Does he regret buying tickets to the poorly timed concert that now has the kids up past their bedtime and trapped in close quarters for the drive back from the venue?

Maybe.

If he lets himself think about it there’s probably a lot he will come to regret about the evening.

(It’s best not to think about it—not beyond the satisfied aches lingering over his body).

But that’s hard to do when it’s Ben’s voice comes out of the speaker once more with the next song and it’s message that’s a little too relevant at the moment.
