what’s up with BB! Puddleshine? been having thoughts about him recently lol. i find it funny that rowanstar grabbed this random child from the nursery and was like ‘bam here’s our brand new doctor and spiritual leader everyone’

You know what's pretty cool about AVoS, buried underneath the slog of it all? The thing I keep going back to about this arc, in spite of how annoying it is to be forced to say in ThunderClan as everything interesting happens off-screen?

The way that so, so many young warriors are horrifically traumatized by both the structure of the Clans, and the Kin that they turn to.

It's a shame that the Erins were so committed to the idea of the Clan social structure NOT being the problem, because this whole arc is a perfect time to show how flawed it structurally is. LET these kids have a point, that maybe they were rebelling against something broken, but Darktail was a malicious actor who exploited their naivety to serve HIS ends.

A recap of what's happening in BB!AvoS before I explain my intentions with the Puddy Boy;

The big problem that I want Rowanstar to display is a problem that ALL the leaders of this time period also have. Commitment to Clan rivalry.

After Firestar was killed in AVoS by Dark Forest warriors, Bramblestar considers diplomacy secondary as a tactic. "ThunderClan will not be bullied any longer. We have been too soft with the other Clans for too long; and they have humiliated us by taking advantage of our kindness." (Note: Harespring and Breezepelt being part of the assassination patrol is not revealed until TBC. For MAXIMUM drama reveal.)

He escalated a border dispute that Firestar had worked closely and intimately with ShadowClan to resolve; a fight for a knoutberry patch on their border, just before Winter.

After Russetfur died in this painful battle, Blackstar backslid hard from his redemption arc. This caused the Thunder/Shadow alliance to dissolve towards the end of OotS, ending a friendship between the two Clans that had lasted through all of Po3.

He was open to Sol's manipulation, and while Tawnypelt was trying to fight the Dark Forest trainees who took over ShadowClan in the meantime... Rowanclaw became deputy by organizing a patrol of cats to remind Blackstar how much he means to them.

So Rowanstar inherits the Clan with this in mind. ShadowClan solves SHADOWCLAN'S problems. "ThunderClan had a quarrel with WindClan, but decided that we were their enemy. Leaving ourselves open for betrayal was a mistake; if we cannot handle our own problems, we will inevitably succumb to them when our so-called 'allies' don't come to help." (Note: he isn't completely wrong. His words are borderline prophetic for what's about to happen.)

Onestar has a smug chuckle at this. Since taking leadership, he's been appealing to the strongest, hardest members of his Clan. Those who once tried to kill him for his "weakness" in the Civil War. The "lesson" ShadowClan learned is one that he's known since the day Onewhisker died and Onestar was born, on the night of that sabotaged muirburn. "That so-called peace was always a farce. We are warriors of the four Clans; it was always going to come down to honor, and putting ourselves first. My WindClan isn't foolish enough to pretend like ThunderClan ever acted in anything but their own, hidden self-interest."

And Mistystar respects the direction Bramblestar has taken his Clan in, and approves of the "honesty" that the Clans are now showing. "As the branches of the honeysuckle fight and win the light for themselves, sometimes there are beautiful flowers that die in the shade. We can mourn the end of an era, and prepare for a future that will be made all the sweeter for our shared struggle. This is the way of the Clans, and StarClan's solemn light shines upon us all." (Note: god I love writing Misty's speeches)

In the family tree reworkings, Rowanstar is now the brother of Littlecloud. Sons of Brokenstar, honor-sired for Newtspeck.

Littlecloud... is suffering from early onset Alzheimer's.

He didn't want to choose an apprentice after Flametail's horrible death, heartbroken and stressed out, especially when he couldn't reach his nephew through contact with StarClan.

He can't remember, anymore, that Flametail was freed. He keeps forgetting this, over and over

He keeps ending up in different times of his life, where he's best friends with Cinderpelt and still calling Leafpool by her pre-Honor Title name, where he's inventing a mobility device for Wildfur, where he's still escaping the plague and before he knew his mentor caused it, where he's on the Great Journey...

Rowanstar is in a lot of pain, watching his brother forget so many things, scared and confused half the time. He doesn't want to believe that this is really the end, or that... many of these cats are now so young they can't recognize the various eras that Littlecloud is finding himself in.

Puddleshine and Slatefur are going to remain in Pinenose's litter. Either Lion or Birch MIGHT get shuffled to another one; and ALSO the shuffler might survive the Kin. (SO voice which one you want to survive, if you have a preference!)

SO, Violetshine has either two or three adopted siblings... plus another.

Pinenose's oldest surviving child is Happypaw. Happy is the half-sibling of Puddle/Slate-- the death of Weaselkit in the Great Battle caused his parents (Pinenose and Owlclaw) to break up.

(this is why I'm thinking about just reducing the litter to Puddle/Slate, so Violet has three major adoption-siblings to remember instead of four.)

And now we're ready to talk about Puddleshine.

He isn't the first young cat to be shoved into an extremely high-pressure position because of a Cleric becoming incapacitated. Kestrelflight was also forced to become the holy speaker of his people when he was far, far too young, after Barkface died in TNP. He dealt with this obediently, with only Jayfeather ever really being able to get him to think about it in a different light.

Unlike Kestrel, Puddlekit did voice that he was interested in becoming a Cleric, in BB. But he was too young to be properly making that choice, to know what he was getting into. He mentioned it practically offhandedly, and BOOM Rowanstar had rolled him into the position.

But Puddlepaw has a deep sense of responsibility. "Wise beyond his years"-- likely because of how tumultuous his home life was.

His mother's oldest child, Happypaw, was openly a bully of his half-siblings. Pinenose distanced herself from him as a result, causing Happy to be closer to Owlclaw, who was still not over Weaselkit's death.

But Puddle's Ba Spikefur is not a cat who handles his kit's emotions well. Instead, he encourages ambition, tells him to get back at his half-sibling by being more influential than that twerp could ever be.

Puddle will often go to Violet, the new POV, to vent about these things.

And one thing he mentions to her is how amazing Kestrelflight is, when he gets to meet him at the half-moon conferences. He learns SO MUCH from him, it's like he GETS what he's going through...

Puddle doesn't even feel sure that Littlecloud knows what he's doing anymore. If he's learning the right information at all.

But Rowanstar won't DO anything about Littlecloud-- and he CERTAINLY isn't about to let Puddlepaw go train under someone else's Cleric.

As a result of this, Puddlepaw becomes a VERY important member of Sleekpaw's little group. He wasn't one of their friends to begin with, buuuuut...

When he sits to chat with Sleekpaw and Needlepaw, with Happypaw good and far out of earshot, she makes a lot of sense.

A LOT of it.

ShadowClan is run by old men who don't know what they're doing. Rowanstar is too emotional to make good choices. Puddlepaw, barely even old enough to begin apprenticeship, is running all the medicine for an entire Clan.

And, sure, he doesn't have much in the way of a connection to StarClan, no, just a little more spiritual than the average cat...

But who can point this out? If Littlecloud is slowly losing his mind anyway?

"It's not right, how much pressure's on you," Sleekpaw growls, "And it wouldn't be this way if we could challenge Rowanstar. You should be training with Kestrelflight right now."

"But we're dealing with the shells StarClan dealt, and the Clan is looking to you now," Needlepaw points out on behalf of her friend, "You have much more sway than you know."

This time around for BB, Sleekpaw starts as a young hero. She's right. Rowanstar should be challenged, his emotions are affecting the ENTIRE Clan, and Puddlepaw is in a bad position because of it. Needlepaw is like her best diplomat, surely to become her deputy someday.

They would have made an excellent set of leaders for ShadowClan. But they trusted the wrong person, and were exploited. When Darktail and The Kin came to the lake, they were swept up by it, and WindClan began an embargo.

Puddlepaw eventually oversees the Yellowcough Outbreak, and at first just thinks it's Greencough. He has no idea about strains, or the special types of Color Cough that Clan cats have historically dealt with. Even when he finally does learn it's not JUST Greencough, he's powerless to do anything about it. A lot of cats die because of the lack of mullein.

After that, with ShadowClan so weak and the Kin so strong... he's one of the cats who calls for the merge. The most important one, in fact, leveraging his position to say that this is StarClan's will.

Sleekwhisker and Needletail were right all along, and he's happy to stick it right into everyone's faces. Onestar's tantrum of an embargo killed his Clanmates, Rowanstar stopped him from properly training, he's been under pressure from the time he was small with Littlecloud not fit to be a mentor, and he's ready to welcome in ShadowClan's new era as something that is not a Clan.

...unfortunately, it turned out to be the wrong choice. Not because his thought process was wrong. But because Darktail had other plans in-mind.

There wasn't a person on the planet who didn't know the name "Leon Kennedy" the actor being the lead in the highly popular show "Resident evil" a horror drama that took the genre by storm.

He was a heart throb and beloved by many and sadly was a taken and married man.

The cameras flashed as Leon and (name) stood lovingly together at the premiere of a movie (name) was starring in.

"You look handsome tonight" Leon said softly in his husband's ear and (name) snorted softly "you helped me put this outfit on" (name) said teasingly and lean grinned at him "and I could be the one who takes it off" he said teasingly and the cameras went crazy when they looked at each other lovingly.

Everyone lost their minds when they originally got together, everyone surprised to see Leon Kennedy with a man.

To be fair no one thought Leon was gay.

And he wasn't, coming out as pansexual a year later "I can't control who my heart chooses to love" he said in an interview and flashed those pearly whites, everyone after that claiming the two as a power couple.

"You look great" Leon whispered as the movie played on before them "I had to be in makeup for three hours, it was exhausting but worth it" (name) rested his head on the brunettes shoulder as they hold hands.

(Name) was exhausted as they were sitting in the back of the limo, movies always made him tired after watching them as Leon held him close "you can nap baby, it will take a bit till we get back home" Leon said softly, a smile playing on his lips as (name) fell asleep on his shoulders.

MF LITERALLY IS ONE, IF NOT THE MOST, KINDEST PERSON YOU'LL MEET.

Always there to help crews moving their things, especially the heavy ones like camera.

Helps fellow actors with their script and scene.

But the most noteworthy trait of his is being a family man.

Okay biggest victims are Chris and Leon

Jill and Chris are people who entered the industry the same time as Albert and has worked on multiple projects with each other. Hence, their closeness.

Now back to the general cast

Chris and Claire are literally siblings in real life

This franchise is actually Ada's first acting role in the industry! Which immediately became a huge boom to her career, which she didn't expect.

She was actually originally working as a stunt woman, but one time a manager suggested her to do acting after seeing her try to double a character since the original actor was sick, and she couldn't be more thankful that she took the risk.

She's very skilled in martial arts!

She and Albert are some of the few casts that don't do double-stunts.

Leon is a child actor starting from the age of 7.

Came from a very wealthy (aristocratic) family

ABSOLUTELY IDOLIZES ALBERT

Y'know that one story of Tom Holland when he talked about RDJ and was absolutely stunned when he entered the set?

Yep. That's literally Leon on his first day on set.

Look. He's worked with a lot of big shot names. Cate Blanchett, Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, Nicole Kidman, you name it!

But has he ever worked with this man with basically a face and body carved by the greek gods themselves, slicked back hair, and possibly the smoothest and healthiest skin ever, who's basically his entire fucking idol and goal to work with? NO!

So why, should he NOT FREEZE UP when he finally met him on set?

Albert saw a blonde, handsome boy sticking out like a sore thumb from the entrance of the set. He quickly realizes that this is the actor they cast for the protagonist. He walks up to them and smiled warmly.

"Hey! we got a new face around here. You must be Leon Kennedy right? Nice to meet you! I'm Albert Wesker"

He stretched out his hand to shake with him, but all Leon could think was

"oh my god... it's ALBERT FUCKING WESKER"

Poor blondie basically stopped working for a few seconds, before he realized how stupid he looked and was on his way to ruin his first impression.

He quickly snapped out of his shock and went to shake his hands and OH MY GOD THEY'RE SO SMOOTH AND WARM AND HIS SMILE--

Had to take a breather when he went to his tent after that encounter.

After that and throughout the shooting, they became closer and eventually became close friends

Which is how Albert met you but that's for another story.

Carlos has a HUGE and I mean, simp level of huge, crush on Jill.

This man really was the real smooth operator cause when he heard that Jill, together with a male character, will be the MC for the third franchise? Oh this man was on a MISSION.

Immediately auditioned and prepared for the role like his life was on the line (on his defense, it was)

The first to hear about this was Chris.

Which he then gossiped to Albert.

To which they both supported Carlos by giving him tips about what Jill likes, hates, her fave foods, her favorite movies, all of that and etc.

Literally had them plotting the most insane shits for a date

Thankfully, their shenanigans bear fruit after a year when Jill finally accepted him as her boyfriend.

Man was so over the moon, he deadass called the other two in the middle of the night to talk about what happened.

Albert was NOT happy being interrupted in his sleep, but decided to let it slide hearing the joy in the younger man's voice.

After all, he wasn't so different when the same thing happened to him with you.

Oh also, did I ever mention that Albert ADORES children?

Which is why he found Sherry so cute! Even though she plots pranks with Leon and Claire occasionally.

Throughout the years, they have become absolutely close friends that they consider each other as family (I'm starting to hear Dom Toretto)

Leon and Ada also eventually became a couple after years of painful pining (the rest of the cast and crew had to suffer witnessing their years of pining for each other)

They often do a late night chats with each other, sometimes they do IG live together when everyone's free.

The fans ABSOLUTELY eats them up because it's their source of meme and crack content from the cast.

The Behind The Scenes were filmed by almost all of them, or whoever wants to.

Tons of them are Chris tripping over almost everything.

Claire trying her stunts and being extremely proud when she successfully does one without her double.

Carlos just playfully punching and having beef with the camera.

It also includes Albert teaching Ada some stunts on how to do them better and more safely, and vice-versa.

And then you got Luis, Ashley, and Leon straight up doing a mukbang ASMR for one of their BTS (they failed horribly cause they, especially Luis, can't stop laughing)

Luis tries teaching Ashley spanish but eventually gave up. But after a few months, Ashley came up to him and said in almost perfect spanish "soy un raton rubio"

Loverboy felt like a proud parent he started singing out of nowhere.

Idea was inspired by some Actor AU audios by Shroomycattiktok on Tiktok Ive had some other small things in mind for this, though I’m not too sure if I’ll be able to get around to them, I’d like to try. ^^  With that, Mystic’s outfit is greatly inspired by Resident Evil’s Leon. (Since I..who wouldnt wanna be Leon xDD) The jacket being basically his outfit in RE6, and the holster matching the one from Vendetta. Wally on the other hand has bits matching RE4R’s Ashley. Being the jacket colour and buttons, the ascot having some embroidery, and the belt having a green plaid pattern.  I dont feel this was my best work exactly, however it came out pretty alright ^^

Resident Evil Actor AU!

It all starts in 1998 when a young man named Albert Wesker, just out of collage comes to America. He works in costume creation and was hired for a big-ticket film, which falls through so now he is stranded in America with no job, no money, no friends and bad luck.

Luckily for Wesker, another actor from the movie took pity on him and invited him to work on their horror passion project... it's Chris! Wesker becomes the head costume designer/actor because they are very short staffed, but the other actors (mostly) make up for that. Clarie is always taking behind the scenes pictures and videos, which is sometimes annoying.

Anyway, the first movie hits the theater and is a massive success! The actors have offers flooding into their inboxes. Wesker pays for his younger brother, Leon (Have you seen the Leon in sunglasses mod?) to come to America. The cast meets Leon and thinks he is the best, he only gets better when they find out he is an expert in fight scene choreographing.

The group has too many ideas which causes RE2 to be about Leon and RE3 to be about Jill but the filming is all on the studio so they can pass props around. Which causes lots on shenanigans.

Clarice and Sherry 'leak' pictures of Nemesis and Jill on the RE2 filming sight, Leon and Wesker drinking smoothies while watching the city burn, Chris with Mr. X in a head lock and other meme able images.

The reason Leon and Wesker aren't allowed any big amount of scene time togther is because, despite the both of them being great actor CANNOT STOP THE BROTHER VIBES.

Scene where Chris and Leon fight Wesker? Wesker looks more affectionate then annoyed at all of his little flips and dramatic shit.

Leon and Wesker in a tense scene where Clarie's life is on the line? Wesker cannot stop looking guilty.

It would be funny if it didn't stop some cool moments.

Other fun things include but are not limited too.

Chris needing so many Custome outfits because buff.

Wesker getting sick and the directors trying there hardest to pass Leon of as Wesker for a scene or two (It doesn't work)

DBD is a game show for celebs.

Sherry being a small sassy child.

The monsters just being dudes in costumes so there are pictures of the zombies just chilling on set while they wait for their next scene.

Resident Evil 2 R actor AU!

This is an idea that's been rattling in my head for like a month so here it is!

The actor's for Claire and Leon met in 6th grade when they saw a DvD of the original resident evil 2 at a sleepover and have been best friends and roomates ever since

Due to contract reasons they didnt know that they were playing the roles until they met on set.

As a suprise all living actors from the original Resident Evil 2 were on set with zombie makeup and played various zombies

The actor who played Mr.X accidentaly punched Leon in the face and knocked him out, this caused the movie to be delayed by a week

Ada wongs actress pretended not to understand english when she first met the rest of the cast.

Sherry's actor is a huge horror nerd and actually asked the director if she could keep a prop from the film, the director said no but Mr.X's actor gave her his hat after filming wrapped.

Every member of the cast that met Mr.X's actor thought he was the sweetest man they ever met

The actor for William Birkin is actually Sherry's actresses brother, no he isn't 36 he's 29 he just looks really old dw about it.

Claire and Ada's actors started dating soon after production ended with help from Leon's actor.

Due to the 5th Devil may cry sequel being shot at Capcom studio's at the same time, the actor for dante accidently walked onto set and was extremely confused at the scenery change.

Afterwards Mr.X who was a fan of the DMC movies got and autograph of Dante.

Claire's jacket mysteriously disappeared after shooting, it is rumored that Claire had stolen it from set, when asked about it at the oscars she said "Well i definitley didn't steal it and even if i did steal it's not like they were going to use it again." She then opened her purse to reveal what seemed to be the jacket.

Mr.X visited Leon in the hospital after knocking him out and gave him a baloon and a get well soon card that stated that he put freshly baked brownies that will help with the pain in his fridge. No one knows how he got in, as Claire was having ice cream with Sherry as a bonding excersise.

During the racoon city scenes, most of the zombies were just people livng in the area.

During the Ben Bertolucci scene, they didn't know when Mr.X was going to the burst through the wall, the original script for that scene was 2 pages long, and they just had to keep going until Mr.X broke the wall.

After Breaking the wall the cast realized that that was a REAL WALL and not a prop one and Mr.X had broken several bones.

Some of the most famous bloopers from the film was Ada saying "Well this wasnt the penetration i was looking for" after stabing the pipe in her leg.

When asked how her character survived Ada said "Man I dunno, just blame Wesker"

Marvin's actor actually interned during the filming of the orignal movie

The actor for Cheif Irons constantly made sure if Sherry was ok after various scenes

Claire's actress said that Sherry was one of the most professional child actors she'd worked with.

Mabey i'll make more stuff with RE2 like interviews and stuff or move on to 7

Ex is a trans woman and it’s rather known but for some reason fans don’t know. She can do all her stunts on her own and incase her brother isn’t in she’ll take his place. She very much is a fan of her husband, Zayn, character WormMan. When not on set she’s out and about doing stuff around her house or hanging with friends and family. Her, True, Aries, and Arianna are the ones behind costumes.

Arianna is Grian’s older sister and stunt double. Most times Grian doesn’t need Ari’s help and does his own stunts but she still does stunts for him. How she hides her hair? Magic. Also is the one to make sure the Hermitclones are in order. She’s married to Cub’s actor and they’ve been married since they left college and began acting.

Hels is the father of Tek. He’s still newish to having a character that appears briefly sometimes in the series but anything dangerous that C!Wels does in the show he’s the one to perform them. His whole instagram is stuff of his family and is the one with the most behind the scenes stuff up.

Tek(placeholder name) is Hels’ son and Tango’s nephew. He is his uncles stunt double and does 99% of Tango’s stunts. He plays life series Tango in all season besides season 3. Tek also helps out with a spin-off show that shows some hermits characters pasts. He has two older siblings, Aias and Alatus, who are mostly on special affects and editing but also act in the spin-off series.

Do I Have My Top Fave Welcome Home AUs

Just me blabbering. Hmm... I don't know yet! I honestly love all of them, well depends on how the plot goes or theme of it or the artists who created it. There so many of them, it's hard to pick which I like the most. Especially how the characters would look in the AUs. I have my own, but in the makings. I am planning to draw my ocs in the aus of Welcome Home that I truly like so far, but who knows. I actually have 3 top fave AUs, but it switches now and then 😆 .
