is machete an albino dog? if so.. does he have poor vision like some albino animals do?

Yes, actually! His vision isn't quite as bad as it could potentially be considering his condition, but he's definitely at least nearsighted enough that he'd benefit from wearing glasses. He has trouble seeing distant objects clearly and reading in particular gets challenging if the text is small enough and/or farther than, say, an arm's length away. He tends to hold items very close to his face when he's inspecting them, especially if he's not actively paying attention to how he looks at that moment.

On top of that his eyes are highly sensitive to bright lights. Direct midday sun gives him the worst headaches very swiftly. If he has any say in it, he prefers to go out on overcast days, early mornings and evenings.

He probably has a pair of custom spectacles ready for those occasions when he absolutely can't manage without them, but he's reluctant to keep them on his person consistently (let alone be seen with them). His body keeps finding new ways to let him down and to him, surrendering to wearing glasses would be like admitting another defeat. So he squints and fumbles and does his best to hide the fact he can't see that well. He has a lot of health anxieties and he's worried about the possibility of his vision weakening further and potentially preventing him from doing his job, after all most of it is centered around reading and writing. It's the one thing he enjoys, is very good at, and that makes him feel useful and needed.

Watched the 9 Years Later reunion zoom video today and ishfjs. Cody saying he believes Theo’s still trying to make some friends and find a pack, “maybe thinking about texting Scott, probably doesn’t” just fuel to my headcanon Theo never really ‘makes up’ with the McCall pack more than is necessary to coexist around the same people - read: Liam - and kind of just. Idk tries to find himself outside of the DDs and the horror and everything he was once he got a second chance

While it's true that Annie's character development was extremely rushed and awkwardly placed within the narrative, I'd like to also add that part of the reason why she's so vehemently hated has to do with the fact that she's an unapologetic, morally gray female character and people are much less likely to give her the benefit of the doubt as opposed to a male character with the exact same qualities.

i can't stop thinking about transfem shuro while working on my analysis.. . it's kind of funny actually. i'll be writing something like "i think subconsciously part of his admiration for falin is how she represents a part of himself he felt like he couldn't have, where he can approach from a safe distance" and you add all the stuff about how at the whims of conformity and social rules he is, and how held back he is in expressing himself at all, and how he's a sensitive person deep down but is something that's covered up under a guise of (masculine, at that) stoic seriousness, and how he explicitly likes falin for being an Unconventional Girl who is Herself, where he likely feels he couldn't be (and where they also have a lot in common) and it's like "Hey. Why are you like... . Transgender"

hc i just think Dazai once swapped all the regular chairs in the pm meeting rooms to tall ones so when the execs met, Dazai watched in amusement as Chuuya struggled to sit (he had to do a little hop to get on and off the seat) and laughed at Chuuya's feet dangling bc he couldn't touch the floor

ofc Chuuya could've asked for a new chair BUT he's never one to hold up or interrupt a meeting for his own personal issue so he just deals with it...tho the second he locks eyes with Dazai and sees his (fake) innocent smile Chuuya just Knows it was him (he immediately starts plotting his own revenge)

Chuuya, looking a bit uncomfortable: Dazai, sweetly: Chuuya? is smth wrong? is the chair too...tall for you? all the execs turning to look at Chuuya: Chuuya, gritting his teeth: not at all. Dazai: just wanted to make sure <3
