The image stares back at you. A younger girl, who looks to be around your age, with an older man. His arm wraps around her back to rest his hand on the shoulder opposite to where he's standing. The girl catches your eye first. She's shorter than the man by a good few inches. She strikes you as familiar--shit, she looks a lot like Eros--save for her hair cut in a 90s housewife bob and her face being whole. Green eyes stare back at you, eye shadow and eyeliner done up. One of her eyes is slightly crooked to the left. She wears a pale mechanic's uniform. The man is tall, and looks like the typical idea of a Good Man. Blond hair, blue eyes. His hair is cut at the shoulders, with a slight wave to it. He's not too old, maybe in his late 20s? His suit is ironed and pressed, a slight brownish-reddish color. In the lapel is a pin of a V-shaped symbol. You look to the date sprawled on it in blue pen.

Has the time really passed that quickly? You look closer. On second glance, the girl looks uncomfortable--shoulders squared, her smile obviously forced if you know what to look for. She pulls away from the man slightly, leaning forward and opposite him like his arm hurts to touch. The man looks none the wiser, or if he has noticed, he must be good at poker.
