Sorry I took so long to respond lol! Ezrah is a ray of sunshine, I honestly love writing him.

He was the first character I created for the game, actually. I gave him multiple romance options because I not only love him so much but also thought it was a neat little option for the player to help play matchmaker for their brother!

We’ll learn his thoughts on everything as the game progresses. After all, he’s very opinionated when it comes to his sibling.

And yes, the notorious <<nobr>> error. My archenemies when writing passages with multiple variations. It’s a little beginning and closing tag that’s very simple, but I always forget the closing tag. Thank you for pointing that out!

Grace Joy’s Captor, Part I

This is gonna be a story about Kyle finding out about the man that killed Grace’s parents and is the cause of her inability to speak. Of course, he won’t know yet about what happened to her, but he’ll have figured out enough to do something about it.

This is going to be a longer story, so this is going to be split into more than one part. This is the beginning. 594 words long. Cuddly/sweet side of au au Kyle (a side of this version of Kyle that almost no one gets to see).

To say that Kyle was a protective daddy to little Grace Joy would be an extreme understatement. Any time she showed any sign of the slightest unhappiness, he would stay by her side to make her happy again, even if that meant to be late to work.

Not many knew about her in the first place. Maxie did, he made sure of that. That way if he was late, he would know why. But considering how much his colleagues disliked him, he didn’t want to even risk something might happen to him, especially when so many of them were envious of his placement in the Org ever since Maxie took over.

No, Maxie wasn’t the biggest fan of his, but he did trust him since he saved his husband. And that trust caused him to become an elite member of the Org in spite the fact that he was a wolf and that pissed off a lot of members. And even though they’d quickly been silenced by their new leader, Kyle still didn’t trust them not to privately retaliate at any given chance. So he kept his new daughter a secret from most.

But Andrei had met her about a month after he’d taken her in. Once he felt comfortable leaving her with a new sitter, that was fired after that day because the next time he tried to have her watch Grace, she hid away from her nervously as though something had happened and he was unwilling to risk her happiness or safety.

That was when he asked Ezrah to watch her. She had taken to Ezrah fairly quickly too. She had been nervous for the first couple of hours but after a while, she started to realize he was okay. Her thumb went from in her mouth to her hands reaching for his hair and tugging on it and staring at him curiously, as she had stared at Andrei the day she met him.

She was the best thing to happen to Kyle. He only wished as she grew older and better at communication, she would say the same about him.

He was cuddling with her and watching her watch a movie. Her eyes were following every tiny detail of the movie, observing every movement, every tiny thing that happened. He smiled a little. She was going to grow to be so intelligent and so observant. She was going to know everything. He squeezed her closer while she pressed her head to his arm and watched the movie. He couldn’t help but to wonder if he’d ever known a happiness like this… or if she had either.

Then suddenly there was a sound outside. She shot up, eyes wide and ran to the window and immediately burst into tears, running to her bedroom and hiding under her bed. He frowned, going to the window and scanning. He couldn’t see what or who had startled her, so instead of looking any longer, he decided to go to the bedroom to find her. He soon found her under the bed and coaxed her out with promises of cuddles and kisses.

She was still in fearful tears as she slowly crawled out from under the bed. She curled into his arms, which cradled her against his chest. Her sniffles slowed as she pressed her ear to his chest. The sound of his heart beating always comforted her and she slowly started to calm until her eyes were drooping sleepily. She stuck her thumb in her mouth while she cuddled close and started to fall asleep.

BASICS.

Ezrah, 22, Aquarius pronouns. he / him taken or single. takennnnnn!  three facts.            001. since i was born on feb. 13th, i have this weird love for valentines day & the items that are usually valentine’s themed.            002. recently found out my cat is male bcuz since we moved & have made him an indoor cat— i kinda just stared at his butt & realized that he was actually just a fixed male instead of female like we originally thought.            003. as if y’all couldn’t tell but i rly love angels & vampires LMAO i tend to create my own type of lore for my ocs that fall into those categories. 

EXPERIENCE.

how long have you been roleplaying? honestly? probably since i was 11 LMAO but i didn’t actually delve into a narration type of writing until i was about 13? 14? 

platforms used? originally gaia LMAO, then some rando forums made by friends or suggested by friends. i also was on TheNinja-RPG for the longest time. (TNR is still around & it astounds me sometimes LMAO) Sometimes I roleplay on mobile apps or twitter. But it’s mostly been through tumblr. I do want to venture into actually using my toyhou.se for roleplay purposes too LMAO 

worst experience. oh man LMAO — if anyone was my friend during 2010/2011 or was it around 2012? i don’t remember but i was getting a lot of hate on one of my blogs & honestly, it’s kinda what made me wary of even roleplaying on tumblr for a while. (but i rly want to so here i am LMAO)  ALSO LIKE essentially having one of my fave OCs dictated by a person i thought to be a very close friend. 

best experience. a lot to be honest? my best days were when i wrote shizuo heiwajima for a time. it’s essentially how i met my partner LMAO 

MUSE PREFERENCES.

gender. I usually am more comfortable with writing male / masculine presenting muses because I struggle a lot w/ my gender identity IRL since I’m very closeted about it so it’s the only way I can really comfortably express myself LMAO esp. through masculine muses who are feminine or like conventionally feminine things. Which also goes into I’m hella comforable with writing non-binary / gender non-conforming muses too. I do love & will sometimes write female / feminine presenting muses tho! 

original or canon? HONESTLY? I HAVE SUCH A STRONG PREFERENCE FOR OCS! I really like world-building and creating lore for my OCs so dkfsjgh but I do like canon muses too— I’m just really hesitant with writing canon muses nowadays LMAO especially in the indie rpc so most of my canon muses are either placed onto my multi-muse or in a mfrp group

multi or single? i’m assuming this is for muses? but i really like both? multi-muse blogs are really convenient because i don’t have to make a new blog for every character i write and it saves me the pain of coding/finding separate themes and making a whole bunch of edits LMAO BUT THEN AGAIN I DO LIKE SINGLE MUSE BLOGS TOO because of the aesthetic that i can dump on their blogs. so ??? they’re both hella good options 

WRITING PREFERENCES.

fluff, angst, or smut? hi, i really like angst. but also like fluff? they’re both good things to write.  especially if it’s fluffy angst or angsty fluff LMAO in hindsight, i do like the idea of... smut? but like i’m not openly comfortable with writing it and tend to write it only with people i’m very comfortable with. 

plot or memes? THAT DEPENDS ON THE CONTENT! but i always like to plot like character interactions? i guess? because i want to know if it’s possible for our characters to actually interact fluidly instead of the awkward meetings? sometimes those are necessary tho! 

long or short replies? PREFERABLY SHORTISH? like a couple paragraphs but honestly, my dumbass tends to WRITE A LOT? but i like medium length replies? sometimes i do love long replies tho because those are nice to read through at the end of the day LOL 

best time to write? LMAOOOOOOOOO honestly, i have no idea. sometimes i can go fucking days to WEEKS without writing so? i usually tend to be active more in the afternoon/evening & like a gremlin, I will probably be up until 5AM just writing shit becuase i finally found the motivation to do so

are you like your muse(s)?: yeah LMAO mostly in the sense that i kinda project myself into my characters? but although, that doesn’t necessarily mean we’re completely alike. but I mean, Esme’s a mess because I’m a mess & wanted to explore his hella indulgent concept LOL

Post-game and late relationship.

You are nearly certain Cier is going to get tossed out of the carriage, either by you or by Orion.

"You can sit normally." You say, already giving in and scraping your nails gently over his scalp. His hair, buzzed and extremely soft, feels amazing on your fingers.

"Where's the fun in that when I have two lovely partners to make a bed out of?" He returns, smiling mischievously up at you.

Orion, who ended up with the elf's gangly legs tossed over his thighs, merely gives a put upon sigh and continues reading the report outlining your duties once you reach Marlun.

"Hey, c'mon, Ri." Cier props himself up in your lap, "You've been wound tight ever since you got wind of where we were supposed to be going."

"Where I'm supposed to be going." He corrects, not unkindly, "You two decided to tag along."

"I get a free pass." Your lips quirk into a smile, "What will they do? Tell me no? I'm Florian's advisor."

Cier laughs at that, bright and loud as always. He twists around in the small, moving carriage so he's leaning against Orion now. He gently extracts the papers from his hands, careful not to rip or tear them. He passes them to you, and you lay them safely on the floor.

"Listen, Ri." Cier begins, "We know this is about...well."

"My family." Orion fills in, "One could make that assumption."

"Don't do that." You carefully scooch over, nearly laying across Cier to take Orion's other hand, "We're here for you, even if you don't want to talk."

"Or if you want me to blast them all in a lake and then get the fuck out of there, we can." Cier smiles slightly, "That's always an option too, babe."

"Like he did my mother." You eagerly, grinning up at Orion, "Trust me, it's very cathartic."

"Saints, you're both lucky my parents are great enough for the three of us." Cier sighed, resting his cheek against Orion's shoulder and wrapping an arm around your waist to pull you in closer.

You oblige easily, nearly curling around both of them with Orion's hand still encased in your own.

"We also have Ezrah." You supply, "He can't cook for shit, but he's great with the whole love and support thing."

Orion grimaces and you remember with sudden clarity the first time your brother hugged him. The transition from enemies to family had been not as bad as you thought for them, in all honesty.

It likely helped that Orion couldn't care less about his former position and all but ditched Leydon the second you and Cier asked him to.

"Anyways, we probably won't even see them." Cier rubs circles on Orion's forearm with his thumb, "They might not even know-"

"My sister sent me a letter four days ago." Orion's jaw tightens, "To welcome home the family disgrace."

"I'll kill her." Cier says in the same cheerful tone as before, but his eyes are full of intent.

"I should've told you, but-"

"It's a sensitive spot." You say, "That's okay. You told us now and we appreciate that."

Cier nods eagerly in agreement, "Yeah, and we all forget things sometimes too. Remember that time when we visited Thiea for our honeymoon and I didn't tell you about-"

"Yes, I remember that quite vividly." Orion sighs, "It was...interesting, to say the least."

Cier reaches up and steals a quick kiss before doing the same to you, "Oh, you both had fun."

"After the initial shock was over." Orion protests.

You smile, probably looking a bit dopey but you just can't help it. You love your husbands so much.

Cier catches your eyes and smiles back just as sweetly before giving the same treatment to Orion. You see him soften immediately, the dark brown of his eyes soft. He relaxes minutely, his shoulders sagging as he breathes out, and he wraps an arm around Cier's form.

He squeezes your hand as your rest your head on Cier's leg.

"This cannot be the best way to cuddle right now." Orion points out.

"I don't know about you, but I'm quite comfortable here." Cier says.

"I must agree." You respond, eyes sliding shut as Cier strokes your cheek.

You have time until you reach Marlun. Until then, nothing seemed better than being tangled between the two people you love most.
