Shoutout to the selfshippers who help with relationship issues despite craving a relationship themselves. OKOK but hear me out,

Imagine drawing your f/o, and them drawing you

You sit across from them, only looking up on them every now and then before going back to the drawing

Both of you quiet, since you're so focused on the sketchpads in front of you. The only thing breaking the silence being pencils against paper.

After an hour or so you both stop, showing each other the drawings.

Imagine your f/o either being "bad" or good at drawing

If they're good at it, Imagine you just gasping in suprise when seeing the drawing, since it's so well made.

Imagine your f/o grinning at your reaction, and either being cocky when you compliment their drawing, or them being flustered af

If they're bad at it, Imagine them chuckling nervously, holding onto the sketchbook since they don't want you to see it Imagine looking at the drawing, and despite it not being the best, they've still done their best to capture their favorite thing about you.

Maybe your smile, your eyes, etc...

Or some detail about you that they find beautiful, A scar or maybe a mole.

they like you belly hair/happy trail, your hairy legs and thighs, you hairy arms, your hairy face, your chest hair, even if you have back hair or any hair in places most people wouldn't expect to see hair on.

if you choose not to shave, they don't care and encourage you to keep it if it makes you comfortable and/or you cant be bothered. they'll rub the hairy parts of your body, liking how fuzzy/soft/scruffy it is. they won't flinch or be disgusted if they touch it. they won't care if they feel it on their face or any other part of their body.

if you DO shave it, they'll help you with it, getting parts that'd usually be too difficult to reach and fully shave. they'll help make everything even and clean. and after you've washed up they'll put their cheeks on the newly shaved spots and feel the fuzziness tickle them and it'll make their heart flutter hard

Hello everyone, there's something that I'd like to share with everyone here, because I believe it will help a lot of people.

For us folks who engage in imaginary worlds, with canon characters or our own creations, who have deep conversation with their faves in their heads or need their comfort character's shoulder to cry on, there is an unavoidable phenomenon which I took the liberty of naming "Character burnout".

"Character Burnout" essentially means that you have no energy in order to visualise your character(s) in your mind or engage with them on your imagination. I've come to the conclusion that it can be a result of an actual burnout (mental) or it can be irrelevant to mental state and your mind is overwhelmed. Simply put, it is the way your mind kindly asks you for a small break to charge its batteries. After all, picturing an entirely different reality needs a lot of energy.

Now, the reason I'm saying all this, is not for the sake of just mentioning it. I understand that a lot of us are extremely attached to our comfort characters/ f/o(s) or whatever you prefer calling them, myself included, and this situation can be very stressful. Personally, I panic, thinking that I've lost interest to my favourite characters or "grew out of it" to the point I become unable to function at all, but, after a small amount of time I can connect with them again.

So, when you experience this, please don't jump into conclusions or let fear overcome you, the connection will come back again as enjoyable as ever, you just need to be patient and give your mind the time it deserves to recharge in order to take you places again. It may take days, or weeks, but the love we have for our characters is never gone.

If anyone wants to talk about this, please do speak your mind, and I'm open if someone wants to discuss it with me as well.
