Plot: Girl shows up at familys home claiming to be the daughter of the husband. Plot twist! She and the husband are actually having an affair and its just a lie so they can sneak around and live together.

A Little Extra

Isobel Prescott was the Queen B of Constance Billard during her reign there. Unlike with Blair- who she handed the titled down to- Isobel and her besties were inseparable. All three were a force to be reckoned with, bonded for life in their little found family. Isobel was popular and spoiled. She was the drama, constantly gossiped about and fawned over. She was casually cruel, ruining lives with a mere glare or particularly scathing comment. To everyone else outside of the inner inner circle, she was tactfully cold. At home and growing up, she had never really had very good examples of ‘love’ or affection. If it weren’t for her friends and their families, she wouldn’t have a clue. It would always throw her. She would see her friends’ parents joke around or flirt, kiss and hold hands. Be kind. Even Logan’s dad, who is stone-like with almost everyone, was putty in his wife’s hand. She tried not to think about it too much to be honest. Everything in Isobel’s life was perfect and going her way until that party- the party she and Oliver Andrews hooked up at. Was Oliver dating her bestie at the time? Yeah. Did she find out? Of course she did. And Isobel just could not say she was sorry about it. She didn’t apologise, she couldn’t apologise.

She just wanted everything back to the way it was and for Jess to stop hating her. For Logan to stop looking at her with those concerned, puppy dog eyes. For Ceren to not look so disappointed, so hurt. It was just one tiny, accidental lie. Logan was trying to talk to her about it, resolve it somehow and get things back to how they used to be when Isobel just blabbed it out. It wasn’t her fault. Oliver had said that he loved her, that they could be together. Isobel’s heart had been broken, you know? Well, suddenly she was absolved and in flew the attention as well. Things were finally good again and even though she knew it wasn’t right, it had happened and there was no going back... Or so she thought. The plot twist came in the form of one ex-boyfriend, Aaron Vandervort, who exposed the lie complete with video evidence. He all but ran Isobel out of town. There was a lot of wallowing, tears, soul searching, major drama in the form of Logan’s infamous ski accident and the conclusion that at the end of the day, she was Isobel Prescott. She didn’t need anyone and she would be okay. But she still wanted her friends back. Things aren’t exactly how they were before now but they’re getting better. Isobel is trying. When she’s not trying, she’s focusing the rest of her energy into the breakout hit reality TV show “Partying With Prescott” because hey, you either love Isobel Prescott or hate her. Either way, you’re hooked.

Ceren Celik-Montgomery and Jessica Knightly - the best friends! Dubbed the ‘unholy trinity’ by Gossip Girl, these three have been inseparable from day one. Even after everything that’s happened between them, they’re bonded for life. They’re in each other’s hearts. As much as Isobel would hate to admit it, she loves them so much. So much she almost hates it.

Logan Hunter - Logan is the fourth member of the ‘unholy trinity’ having also grown up with the besties. They’ve been BFF all their lives and when they got older, Is and Logan’s relationship became more besties-with-benefits. No jealousy, no labels. And then Logan was in an accident. Thinking she was going to lose them was terrifying and it changed everything. Logan was so upset with her for lying about Oliver because, as they confessed, they were in love with Isobel. Things were suddenly messy and complicated and, ugh, with the feelings already... But now? They’re trying out dating. Non-exclusively, of course, but still. It’s good.

Oliver Andrews - Oliver was Jess’ boyfriend and while Is might have flirted a little, thought he was attractive, it wasn’t until that party anything happened. Then followed the whole fabricated, romantic tale and the messy aftermath and, well, she’s probably off his contact list.

Aaron Vandervort - Isobel’s first and only official, totally exclusive, boyfriend. They were still in high school at the time (young love, right? Or whatever). Aaron was completed enamored with her and Isobel? Well, she got caught kissing the devil.

William Huntzberger - cue the devil. William and Isobel are a terrible combination. He brings out and encourages the worst in her. Took her in when the Upper East Side turned against her. They’re always bitchy with each other but might, like, actually be friends? Who knows.
