Fact #85

Oddly, shortly after the Japanese airing of the Yo-kai Watch anime's 39th episode, Gourmet School Lunch Episode 2: Pudding! / Yo-kai Failian / Yo-kai Spoilerina on October 10th, 2014, the episode was "temporarily suspended for undisclosed reasons," with the anime's digital streaming also being suspended on the episode's air date. No explanation has ever been given for this suspension, though it is thought to be due to a cue card that, in Japanese, says "A meaty volcanic explosion," being compared to a volcanic eruption that took place on September 27th, 2014, though the episode was in production before the incident.

When the episode did air again, on December 24th, 2014, the only change was in the Yo-kai Failian segment, where the dance people inspirited by Failian do after pranking someone was reanimated, removing resemblance to the choreography of Pink Lady's UFO, with the music also being redone. Additionally, text in the background reading "USO" was added, though most dubs removed this, apart from some which use the original visuals and music; a comparison of both the USA airing and the Malaysian airing, as well as the original Japanese airing and the Malay airing, can be found below (credit to YouTube user Meor Adi the Anime Otaku).

2 lazy w.i.p pieces of art for character development.Normally, I don't do angst with these characters,she’s normally just a messed up person, and the joke is that nobody cares,but the episode I'm writing for is very angsty so I wanted to write some character motive for her:

Being a selfish and greedy person in life that didn't change much in her death,after a coloring mistake in her transition into a yokai,she now poses as a Pinkipoo to gain money and power.She eventually adopted 3 kids,Samuel the So-Sorree,U.S.O the failian,and Crest.She loves them greatly and wants to be the best mother she can be for them,despite this she still love the power and attention she gets from the cults she makes.She has attempted to get other jobs but she doesn't really believe that after years of committing these crimes that giving them up will keep her kids safe.

Pinocchio-P's "Usorasera" made me think of U.S.O the very moment I read the English lyrics, so I drew him!

I haven’t drawn Yokai Watch in forever...

I still love this series, but my brain can only focus on one major fandom at a time, apparently. (Haha)

Saw this on Twitter and lo and behold, my first ever scene redraw was born. It’s also @justiceinmiion‘s birthday, and they adore these two idiots! So two-in-one, grandma!

It is actually very hard to figure out what to do with Ittangomen’s arms when you’re doing your damnedest not to put them in a standard position like Level-5 does in his official art.
