Random Shit in Gravity Falls I think about constantly even though most of it was one-off gags
Dipper and Mabel probably have a criminal record (this could be viable for all sorts of shit they've done but I'm quoting specifically the counterfeiting that got them thrown in the county jail. I feel like that counts idk.)
The sheer existence of Sherman Pines. We know next to nothing about this man but the Pines family we know hinges entirely on him having fucked somebody who went on to fuck somebody else. We've only seen him as a baby.
The fact that the party in Double Dipper was just. Casually implied to have been Stan and Ford's birthday.
Dipper and Mabel share so much they unintentionally shared their first kiss with the same fucking guy. He's now presumably married to a manatee.
Stan petitioned the government to have a day removed from calendars so Soos would stop being sad. He's no longer allowed on airplanes because of this.
Ford got a tattoo before Stan did.
Stan probably lost all his teeth because of chewing his way through the trunk of a car.
Alex Hirsch didn't intend to make Pacficia's episode an abuse allegory but he did it so damn well I physically cannot unsee it as such
Stan is simply a better conman than Bill Cipher.

Contemporary utopians only consider the efficiency and the abundance of goods and services without sufficiently taking into account the qualitative and material side of production, that is, the autonomy and independence of workers and the sustainability of the natural environment. Their vision of an economy of abundance based on market-driven innovations ends up reinforcing the real subsumption under capital and easily turns into the means of further expropriation from nature and surveillance over workers. Since alienation of work cannot be overcome in this way, fully automated post-capitalism propagates an alternative hope that everyone keeps driving electronic SUVs, changing smartphones every two years and eating cultured meat hamburgers. Such a vision of the luxury future obviously sounds attractive to many people in the Global North because ecological modernization assures them that they do not need to change anything about their extravagant lifestyle. This kind of abundant future appeals to the satisfaction of people’s immediate desires without challenging the current imperial mode of living in the Global North. The problem is, however, that such a vision accepts too uncritically existing value-standards and consumerist ideals. It ends up reproducing the social relations marked by oppression, inequality and exploitation that are inherent to capitalism.

I'm only one episode into LOK but I think it's really fucking wild that the Order of the White Lotus raised a girl in a compound and taught her to wield herself like a weapon and then poked at her with a metaphorical stick like "why aren't you spiritual??? Go into the Avatar State for us. You should be like your predecessors."

Yo shout-out to @chocokeyboard for being the creator of probably my favorite OC knight!! (I wanna pat him so bad grrrrr)
I wasn't exactly sure how to translate him into my style, but here's your child *hands him to you*
No but seriously I love Falce's design and concept so much, I seriously want to draw him together with my OC (when I finish making him). I think it would be so cool! 🥹✨

RPGs get a reputation for being all about fighting. How does that work if the RPG is solarpunk? Or utopian even? What is an RPG, in the first place? What is the usefulness of a solarpunk RPG? Join us as we discuss these questions and more.
Art from the Fully Automated website used in episode cover is by Sean Bodley as well as a few other artists and this will get updated to credit them when we track them down :)

Since the development of productive forces under capitalism only increases the alien power of capital by depriving workers of their subjective skills, knowledge and insights, it does not automatically open up the possibility of a clear bright future. Notwithstanding, contemporary utopian socialists focus solely on the Grundrisse, so they tend to marginalize Marx’s critique of productive forces. They too narrowly understand the concept of ‘productive forces’ as if they were equivalent to ‘productivity’ defined as the ratio of input and output. The concept of ‘productive forces of capital’ indicates that Marx’s concept of productive forces is actually broader. It also has to do with what humans can produce and how they do so. In other words, it includes human productive capacities such as skill, knowledge and strength as well as natural conditions. These capacities especially have to do with workers’ autonomy, freedom and independence, which are essential for overcoming alienation of labour. In this sense, the concept of productive forces is both quantitative and qualitative. The quantitative increase in productivity through full automation, for example, can be accompanied by the qualitative degradation of working conditions as well as of the natural environment, hindering the full development of the individual. For Marx, that does not necessarily count as the real development of ‘productive forces’.
