We know dipper's good at mysteries and Mabel good at arts and crafts

Mabel though not very interested in dipper's mysteries is able to help in her own silly way and point's out clues dipper might have missed

I headcanon that dipper though not very interested in Mabel's arts'n'crafts also helps out in his own nerdy way and not just in huge projects like the sock opera

In conclusion? I think dipper may have helped with Mabel's more complicated sweaters like the one from 'Scary-oke' and 'into the bunker'
