I had another idea for this cuz a lot of their bonding moments are Danse being a furnace and Damien being a moth to a flame but I kept it simple. The whole thing is pretty simple tbh but that’s not a bad thing or anything :)

I objectively think this was the best possible way to start Falloutober- this is my Railroad Heavy oc Bullseye!! This was for the 5th prompt “This Thing Called Defeat”, so I pictured Bullseye after the fall of the Institute.

Mama Louise Mulligan and her companion neon-legged black-crowned night heron Chickpea

Louise is the elder of Mulligans, the closest neighbor family (only 8 hours by foot! Easy!). She was already 86 when the bombs fell and she ghoulified. But nothing could break her; she remained a cheerful and active woman. She doesn't see very well and always calls Gage “my pretty boy”, which causes  a lot of giggles from the others. Oddly surprising, they got along well (despite the fact that he is wary of ghouls) and spent a lot of time talking.

Night herons were common in Massachusetts prewar, but now only few remain. Chickpea is a very rare type with neon colored cyan feet. She follows Mama Louise everywhere, but remains calm and silent.

I'm titling this for day 27 but I had originally planned this to be mixed with day 26 as well. Both themes reminded me a really special moment I had on my first playthrough, building stuff in Abernathy Farm, and lo and behold, a radstorm starts while Into Each Life Some Rain Must Fall is playing. I just sat there for a while, listening, staring out into the distance from the rooftop. That was the moment where I really, REALLY fell in love with the game. Best part is, that happened one more time, much later in my playthrough!

Anyway, here's Luther doing the same as I did, but with a guitar this time.

Hi anon! I wasn't originally planning to do a list this year, participation had petered off pretty sharply by the end of the month last year and it seemed to be less widely circulated than previous years. But if there's interest in it from the community I certainly can create a 2023 prompt list!

This is one of my favourite things I’ve drawn all month, maybe one of my favs of Damien of all time. I am SO SORRY FOR DOING THIS TO YOU DAMIEN BUT THE PLOTS THE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENTS 💪😔
