Thank you everyone for all of your support during these last few weeks. It's been painful for the 100+ of us who've resigned or chosen not to return this year as we’ve come to accept that we needed to walk away for our own sake. This is a big change for everyone involved–the people leaving, the rest of the staff, attendees, leadership–everyone.

You know what hasn’t changed though?

Our passions. Our love. Our commitment. Our desire to see a better and brighter future, a future we wholeheartedly believe can happen. Together, we can rewrite this narrative.

We’ve banded together to create this website that echoes the sentiments we've expressed in our letters. It's not just burnout nor a list of complaints—it's a roadmap to the future we're dreaming of. A future with better support, fair compensation, and a code of conduct that actually works. This is about everyone rolling up our sleeves and building something better, something that works for all of us who love Fanime–“By Fans, for Fans”.

We invite you to spread the word on social media, share your own stories, and sign our petition. Every action counts, every voice matters! I attended FanimeCon 2023 in San Jose last weekend as the Lamb from Cult of the Lamb! I tried to get photos with as many other COTL cosplays as I could :D

Had a great time despite not finishing my cosplay on time.

My original plan was to have "faun style" digitigrade lamb legs and hooves. I'll finish them as soon as I can afford more foam and fabric. I also want to improve the wig, as I tried and failed to curl this wig the night before the con.

My next event might be the summer NorCal cosplay gathering in San Francisco this July, but we'll see how that fits in my schedule. I'm also planning on PAWcon in November. 👍

FanimeCon 2012 - the friend pics!

i contemplated not sharing the first pic, as i kind of hate how my Yotsuba cosplay turned out....but people seemed to like it?........i dont know..... 

But i really loved the other looks that i got to do, we had so much fun as the guys from Princess Princess, these three were probably the easiest for us to get into character for (and we actually have a bunch more pics but these were some of my faves). I also think this was the last time i dressed up as Mothra.....i may need to do something about that 

and the last pic will forever be a fave of mine ^___^

heyo anyone who's gone recently, is Fanime worth it anymore? I went a few times as a teenager (10+ years ago) and had a lot of fun, but I've seen murmurs that it's gotten weird over the years. I might be visiting home this year while it's on and am debating going for a day
