She got into character a little too easily and perhaps it was because she got splashed by fireball whiskey before I spotted her--so not only wet, but sticky. That sure would have me sitting there looking ticked.

“Smear Campaign” 2017

Starting over Because the original didn’t have the watermark, I finally got out of my lazy streak to boot up Lightroom re-export and apply it.

So this is why I have taken so long with my latest cosplay photos, plus my work schedule has been so inconsistent and I only get notified the day before I am to work, I’m working two part time jobs and trying to make them fill in for the scheduling holes in each. So anyway for tonight this is a sneak peak of one of the works I submitted to a juried exhibition. Fun fact she��s standing on the lip of a drop off edge that leads to a beach below, we had 7 inches of rain one early morning and that evening I came to find the beach spread of the lake engulfed. So it actually lent itself to pictures well. I had wanted to experiment with a ground level fountain, but my location of choice had closed early, and LED photos are best taken starting at dusk. I had too many mosquito bites that night to count I sprayed myself down. and I covered up, but the mosquitoes bit me through my pants and my shirt. So I had groupings of bites up and down my arm my ankles my legs, you name it, they found it. Totally worth it for what I got.

Jessie is a hoop dance teacher (and hoop smith) as a performer her handle is Electric Jellyfish, (perfect for placing her in water)

Car repair bill imminent. My baby is 20 years old and still runs, gets me point A to point B, but a little trouble starting. Got her a tune up, and found out the rear brakes BADLY needed replacement. 

Now unlike more physical artists I can’t create custom art of a beloved OC to pay the bills. What I CAN do is deliver you content of mine you enjoy. I’ve been planning a hulahoopers calendar for a long time now. I still need to inquire with the printer about larger order quantities, but anyway it is created and ready for your eager hands for just $25.

The above image is a preview/sample, once I figure out a way to outsource a visual of my calendar creation I’ll post it!

what happens when you turn the lights out and seek to freeze motion as someone continues to move, it’s a balance I LOVE to work with, almost exclusively so. It’s a very tricky balance, the continued motion mostly represented by the lights, the freeze I sought out to capture the hooper so you could actually see them! it’s difficult to get perfect without heavy flash equipment. (like studio flash units).

“Sensuality Sells.”

There’s a term “sex sells.” Well I’ve been thinking about it lately, and definitely it doesn’t. Sex or sexy is not what sells. Or there wouldn’t be such a thing as preferences. Because if you can’t feel the sensuality in something “sexy”. It’s just no good it doesn’t inspire you right?  Sensuality also covers so much more than just “sex” it embodies the come hither looks, the sway in his or her body, and an infusion of feeling in a performance -any performance whether intended as sexual or not.  Sensuality is a mood and a feeling I’m chasing to infuse my work with here.  (and some times I reblog the stuff that inspires me or moves me.) So here’s my update I’m just waiting on a watermark and then I swear I’m going to have my most recent works up soon ~  ^*.  And for the hoopers out there keep playin’ you inspire me, and you’re good for my soul.
