CATCHING MY DEATH, AND I COULDN’T BE SURE

Mike had always been told that there were late bloomers in life - people who grew beards last, who moved out of their parents basements long after they should have and who figured out their purpose way past the point of getting a degree. For a long time, he wasn't sure if he knew any of those types of people until one day, he looked in the mirror and realized it was him. It hadn't started out that way though. No, sir. Michael Wazowski was a type A kid, with dreams and lists and goals that no one could deter him from. When the young boy made a choice, he stuck by it and saw it through until the end. Which is probably why he found himself in the position that he did - mid twenties just starting college trying to start over in a career he actually cared about. He'd been pulled so far down a path of what his parents to him to do, going into work immediately after high school that it took a rude wakeup call for him to realize this wasn't what he wanted. What did he want? He still wasn't sure... In school, he met one James P Sullivan and he couldn't help himself from falling into his shadow. He'd always liked having someone to look up to, to support and flank, and considering everything Sulley had going on - his popularity and charm, it was easy to want to orbit around that. Mike didn't learn about Sulley's past until near the end of their time at school, he had a feeling the younger man was scared to tell him but there was nothing to be afraid of. He was Mike's best friend and he wasn't going anywhere. Until they ran. Evermore had never been in the plan but once they were here, there was nothing to be done about it and in a way, Mike felt a sense of relief. If they were trapped in this place that might mean it was harder for them to be found - they'd be able to start over and actually live a better life, one that they both were able to choose for themselves.

Raguel:

AKA Angel, Ragsy

FC is Will Estes

Raguel is the youngest of the archangels, known as the archangel of justice, vengeance, and harmony. He left heaven before Gabe did, and after the Flood, he cut all ties with his father and siblings.  He spent most of his time acting as a guiding voice to judges until the the late 19th century when he learned many would no longer listen to him.  Then, he turned to aiding the police force.  His current and true vessel is a young New York cop named Angel Raguel. The man was fatally wounded and when the archangel asked to use him as a vessel, the officer agreed but asked Raguel to let him die.  Raguel agreed. Things were rocky with the officer's siblings for a while, but eventually he considered them his own (For my sanity I’ll list their names now: Adam Mitchell, Taylor Ralph, Gabrielle Amanda).  During his first 2 years in this vessel Raguel married a young woman who later died giving birth to their son Konstantine.  Raguel has now been with the NYPD about 10 years.

Konstantine:

AKA Konny, Tinman, mini-Angel

FC is Thomas Brodie-Sangster

Konny is Raguel's younger and only surviving son.  (I will eventually get into all details but I like surprises)  He is an Archnephilim and like his cousin Jack he reached adulthood immediately after birth.  Due to trying to avoid suspicion, his father tells most people Konny is his deceased wife's brother who came to live with him after her death.  The only people who know Konstantine is Raguel's son are his siblings and his work partner.   He is a sassy trouble maker, but he tries very hard to help others and please people he likes.  He is actually very selfconscious, but hides it well.  That's all I have for now.

Grey:

FC is Andrew Garfield

AKA Spenser Greyson McUsic III, Grisgris, Spense

Species: Mutant 

Height 6'0

Age  29

Grey is by basic definition a hired gun with his own idea of justice.  He lives with 3 other mutants (Jacob age 22, Lucas age 14, and Julian age 11).  His powers consist of creating portals for travel to alternate universes (most control over), places in his current universe (good control if he's not distracted), and across time (very little control). He can also create small portals to pocket dimensions he uses for storage .  He's trained in physical and psycological torture, hand-to-hand combat, and knows how to use most weapons.  He is obnoxious by nature, cares deeply and dangerously for those he holds dear, and takes pleasure in the suffering of those he considers a threat and enemy.  He is a broken man, with a childhood he typically doesn’t share. (DM me if you need more info). He's from the X-Men '97 Universe but considers the MCU his Home Universe.  He lives there in New York.  Also, he's of Irish decent and suposedly a good Catholic (nobody take offence, I'm Catholic so please no hate.) That's all I have for now.   

Jacob:  

FC is Dylan O'Brian

AKA: Jacob Isaac McUsic, Jake, Mom (by Grey), Darling (also by Grey)

Age: 22

Height: 5'10

Species: Mutant

Basic about:  Jacob is the second eldest of the McUsic household.  His powers constist of very strong technokineses and technopathy, typically used to keep Grey's 'business' running smoothly.  He's kind hearted, but very stern if the need arises, and is probably the only person capable of stopping Grey from being a stupid jerk.  Been with Grey since he was 7 and Grey 14.  He's just started med-school.  That's it I guess.

Lucas:

FC is Noah Schnapp

AKA Lucas Adrian McUsic, Lu, Sweetheart (by Grey)

Age: 14

Species: Mutant

Lucas is the second youngest of the McUsic household and newest member of the family.  His power consist of the ability to drain life force then either transfer to others or himself for healing purposes.  It's done through skin on skin contact and highly unstable at the moment, heavily influenced by his emotions.  He accidentally killed his mother with it.  Grey found him about a year after that and took him in.  He's super close to Julian, but has a hard time getting close to anyone outside his family.  He's very quiet and slow to open up to strangers.  He's been with Grey for a year now.

Julian:

FC is Colin Ford

AKA Julian Arthur McUsic, Glowstick (by Jacob), Angel or Angelface (by Grey)

Age: 11

Species: Mutant

Julian is the youngest member of the McUsic family.   His powers consist of very strong empathy (still developing) and bioluminescense.   He's a very bubbly child that adores Greyson and Jacob both and has a very special relationship with Lucas.   He's friendly and very generous and if he really likes you he will be all over you.  He doesn't seem to understand personal space.  He's been with Grey and Jacob since his parents were killed when he was 2.  And yes, it is canon that this little disaster worships Khoshu and the Catholic God.  That's it for now.

Heracles Bron:

AKA: Hercules (formerly), Herc

Main Verse: PJO post Mark of Athena, but 100% open to crossovers

Species: demi-god (son of Zeus; formerly a minor god)

Age: 3,111 (yes I did the Math and Googled it), appears to be in his 20's or 30's

MReunited with his mortal half and stripped of godhood by his own guilt-ridden prayer, Heracles believes himself to simply be a modern halfblood with a case of amnesia. He knows his name and vaguely remembers fragments of his past, with dates, names, and most other details missing, including who his parents are.  He has retained his godly strength, but like all demigods suffers from ADHD and dyslexia.  He has extensive knowledge of Greek and Roman Mythology, and remains skilled in both archery and wrestling.  Other deities will still recognize him, but he refuses to aknowledge the possibility that he is Heracles of Ancient Greece.  He is rather friendly, although somewhat reserved and often lost in his own thoughts, and he is extremely loyal.  Inspite of his kind nature, however, he has retained his temper; given that his pride much less prominent now, that temper is rarely seen.  Hope this makes sense.

aconteció en noviembre del 2022. tenía años de trabajo para el clan slévač en cuestiones orden: rastreo de crímenes y atención inmediata a inestabilidades en la sociedad mágica. el título no fue elegido al azar, puesto que en sus raíces de sangre se incluye el nombre de alaric roth, líder del departamento de seguridad hace dos generaciones atrás. el desempeño de andreas era excelente, parecía que aquel entrenamiento estructurado hubiera sido heredado intacto de su abuelo.

no obstante, la vida personal se antepuso.

se casó a sus treinta años. su esposa, también bruja, pertenecía al clan jitřenka. a diferencia de él era menos estructurada e independiente, característica distintiva de aquellos brujos. trabajaba como enfermera y era una referente en alquimia. los primeros años de matrimonio cubrieron con un manto todo aquello que no podía percibir. ¿la confianza en sí misma? jamás hubiera desconfiado de su esposa.

a mediados de año del 2022 comenzaron a rastrear una serie de irregularidades en la sociedad mágica: utilización de poderes con fines cuestionables y mal vistos por la ley. el llamado a trabajar en el caso no fue tardío y en cuestión de días, descubrió que una parte del grupo de "rebeldes" estaba a cargo de su esposa. los crímenes por los cuales eran acusados no eran más que una estrecha relación con los humanos y utilización de sus poderes con fines curativos (otros, no tanto). andreas comprendió la perspectiva de su esposa. ¿cómo iba a condenarla? ¿qué tan cruel podría ser para darle la espalda? así que lo hizo: la trató de encubrir.

su plan consistía en encubrir a su esposa al punto de no ser mencionada en ningún juicio, pero fue descubierto por un compañero de seguridad cuya relación — hasta hoy en día— es tensa. el exilio fue mutuo, siendo arrastrados a la vida humana sin posibilidad de ir contra las leyes antepuestas.

se sintió decepcionado de la sociedad mágica. no había un crimen de parte de su esposa (desde su perspectiva) y su lealtad se encontró en una encrucijada.

dos años después del exilio, su esposa falleció.

el pensamiento constante de qué huella dejó en su linaje familiar lo acompañó como sombra. tuvo años de reflexión sobre sus actos, con la muerte de su esposa más se convenció de que algunas reglas deben ser discutidas. como descendiente de un líder en seguridad, también fue una decepción perder todas sus habilidades. el llamado al ritual despertó el interés en recuperar su puesto, en demostrar su valor, aunque también con la intención de pelear por algunos cambios con el apoyo de otros brujos disconformes.

Ivan Koch Baquero - daniel brühl, 40s, boringly straight. Either film director and snob as hell or MI6 operative and also snob as hell. catalunyan mom, german dad, italian grandparents. the man can talk more languages since age 3 than you in your fifties.

Phil Matthews - adam brody, late 30s, early 40s. Half brother to Ben, nerd, works a job he hates but is dealing with it. Less boringly straight.

Paula Rogers (no relation to Steve)- alycia debnam-carey, late 20s early 30s. Black belt that made some cash profiting on her looks & the exposure she received competing. She gives ted talks and does pro-bono works with underpriviliged girls. Has her own dojo and did a good job hiring her lawyer & investment company. Shes not a millionaire by any means but lives comfortably and does the odd tv spot / tv show, thinking of branching into acting (def was part of the cob.ra kai series in some shape or form). Oh she's bi af.

Lucas (Lou) Dreyfus - alan ritchson, early 40s, what a man. Pan af. Former military, by the book (not a reacher rip off but more like a jack ryan one ngl, i like spies, not even sorry).

Zeus/Henry richardson - jeffrey dean morgan, looks early 50s, over 5000. The OG Daddy TM. Based ob my own canon from my olympus blog /fables comics and greek knowledge (nerd alert). He's a judge, has his powers, do not fuck with his kids (whats left of them anyway)

Henry's main (non-zeus) verse - he's a Judge in the NY Criminal court. Before this he was the district attorney. he's a widower (and a bit of a ladies' man since his late 40s but he just hadn't found the one). he's not into kids (=anyone under 35) but apparently he has 'daddy' energy and young women keep hitting on him. he has two kids Gwen (Jennifer Morrison FC, has a career in the military a& ) and Jack (Jamie Dornan, also a muse here). Jack was his late wife's child and he adopted him when Jack was 3 and they married. Gwen was born shortly after. He's dedicated and determined, a bit playful and is trying his best to de-toxisize himself. He also babysits his pre-teen granddaughter an awful lot (Jack's daughter with his late with Magda) so that Jack can go do whatever he wants. He has some investments and lives comfortably.
