Lydia allowed his question to hang in the air for a moment, but only because she was trying to decipher his true intention behind asking it to begin with. In times before, she had merely been asked because people her age that it would be funny to make fun of the Deetz' claim that their house was haunted. She never took them seriously and they hated that she didn't fall prey to their attempts at lousy harassment. This kid though, something felt different about his question. It almost felt genuine, like he wanted her to admit it was all a hoax and that ghosts weren't real. ❝ Why do you want to know? ❞ She asked him first.

"It's oh-okay," Bill answered even though none of this was okay. It was also all his fault, but right now wasn't the time. Eddie was way worse off than anyone wanted to admit but the author would be damned if he was going to let him just give up. If there was anyone that wasn't going to make it out of here it should be him.

Eddie had been hurt the last time too, but nothing like this.

Patrick's seafoam eyes shift in the direction of the screaming, seeing the brunette Kaspbrak kid not far from him. He knew he had to think fast—either lie to the kid or scare the shit out of him. Both options seemed pretty fun for Patrick in that moment.

 

"Oh, come on, Eddie. The damn thing was already dead before I got here...” He mocks, and a slight chuckle escapes his lips. And that was a damn lie.

"There's no need for all the yelling.. Just forget what you saw and run off to your loser friends and we can let bygones be bygones.." He spoke as he stood up with that creepy ass smile he always had on his face.

The first person Bill thinks to see after purchasing Silver is Eddie. He’s excited, thrilled even about his new bike and he pushes rather than rides it to Eddie’s house. Twenty-four dollars was a fair price, he thinks, though his father seemed to disagree. It didn’t matter though; Bill had used his own savings for it.

“ It’s guh-gonna be the fuh-fastest buh-buh-buh-bike out there! ” he exclaimed when Eddie comes out and sees it for the first time. It  needs work, that is certain but Bill is willing to put the work in, not that he really knows what work is actually needed. He looks toward Eddie with a grin.
