When Things Feel Just Right

When everything just feels so right, and everything seems to flow...and, I’m not just talking about the beautiful @fssantabarbara tile and matching, pretty summer shoes here, folks. It’s: When a song comes on the radio after it was just playing in your head... When a friend calls you and you were just thinking about them... When you meet a new business contact with whom you just seem to have synergy... Or, when you meet a new friend or romantic prospect, and your souls just seem to allign, with serendipity seeming to have had a hand in the chance meeting. That’s what we call being in rhythm and being in the flow, my friends. For me, it’s sometimes as simple as showing up to an event and finding that my outfit hilariously matches the theme to a “T.” Or, talking about being from Texas in a restaurant in Santa Barbara, and having the woman across the way say she’s from Houston and strike up a conversation with you. Yep. That’s the magic of being “in the flow.” When I feel “in the flow,” I feel like everything is right in the world. I feel like I not only can be or do anything I dream, but I feel like the universe is conspiring to help me do just that. So, today, if you’re feeling “out of the flow,” (as we are all prone to feel from time to time), take a minute for you today. Meditate. Go for a walk. Pray. Play. Breathe. Love. Take time to do whatever YOU need to do to get yourself back into the flow. I promise that those few seconds you take for yourself will make a BIG difference in the way your day plays out, and maybe even in the way your life unfolds. ✨✨ — at Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara.
