if we’re messaging and i ever take a little bit (a couple hours, until the next day, etc) to respond to you, or you see me reblogging stuff but i’m not answering in dms, i promise it’s not at all that i don’t want to talk to you!! on days when i have to mask a lot (esp. work days) i run out of energy far quicker than usual and sort of lose the capacity to talk to people unless you’re in the room next to me and i can give one word answers. it’s somethin’ i’m working on and i appreciate the patience

i went to urgent care yesterday cuz it's been a week and my joint still fucking hurt. She was basically like, "you tested negative for the things I would test last time you came in, so I'm not gonna stab you again but there's obviously something wrong. So here's some high dose Prednisone and you're allowed to take a billion ibuprofen. Hopefully when you talk to the connective tissue doctor in August, they'll have some answers for you."

On the one hand, yay Prednisone! That helped back in december. On the other hand, JESUS FUCKING CHRIST.

On top of no answers, I am not allowed to drink this weekend! I was, frankly, supposed to be getting very trashed because my uncle makes excellent cocktails
