Hi!! I’m a 21f looking for a Star Wars OC x OC roleplay set in the Clone Wars Era.
MY RULES:
I use mainly Discord or Google Docs.
Be down to chat ooc and create memes / playlists and moodboards for our characters!
Be okay with angst and dramatic plots - I live for drama in my storylines so let’s make it as theatrical as possible.
No Cis Men please! Because of past experience I’m just not comfortable.
WHAT IM LOOKING FOR:
I have a recently knighted Female OC who’s a Jedi shadow and I’m looking for a preferably Male OC.
I really am looking for an age gap dynamic with my character being younger. I love to write against grumpy OC’s so the more grouchy the better. I’d love a clone OC or another Jedi to write against so we have a forbidden love dynamic with lots of secrets and sneaking!
We can create dramatic plots but I wanna write this during the clone wars ft Order 66 and the fallout. Give me theatrics and angst and hidden love and secrets!
If you’re interested in any of this, Like this or comment and I’ll get back to you! Thank you and hope to hear from y’all soon <3

Like The Wookies (SWTOR, Doc (Archiban Kimble) x F! Jedi Sentinel)
A/N: Oh my god do I try. This is my first, I hope it's enjoyable! Feedback is appreciated. ~ Árensaïr Scribe
Words: 1,060
Warnings: Death mention, fighting, bad writing
Summary: The Jedi Knight and her companion are overwhelmed and it ends very badly.
“Don’t make me fight alone!” The Jedi hears her companion yell from across the battlefield over the din of yells, blaster fire, and the growl of her own sabers. His voice washes a wave of worry over her across her mind as she desperately slashes her way through the throngs of imps piled upon her. She can feel herself slowing down, the pain starting to overtake her mind. “Okay, that hurts-” his obvious groan of pain sends an unwanted bolt of panic up her spine. No, she can’t lose him too, she’s already lost so many. She grits her teeth against the white-hot pain of a blaster bolt ripping through her robes and presses forward with a warcry, sweeping an entire row of enemies down from in front of her. Get out of my way. The way her sabers shine off of her eyes gives her a menacing look that causes a few of her enemies pause, just enough time to take down a couple more. Her sabers buzz and hiss around her as she strikes down attacker after attacker, her stamina wavering. The gentle chill of a kolto revitalizes her only until another barrage of blaster bolts pierce her armour and send her reeling to the ground.
“This’ll help!” Doc seemed free of his human prison now, sending kolto after kolto towards her. The chilling sensation filled her bones with a sense of relief from the aching burn of the blaster assault, giving her a bit more resolve. As soon as she was able she kicked herself up and held her sabers in front of her while scanning her surroundings and planning her next moves. It didn't seem that anyone was near her, which she found incredibly odd, she could have sworn there were at least five more imps to take out-
“A little help over here!” The cry got her attention, ripping her eyes to Doc who was surrounded by injured imps. The lot of them seemed a lot worse off than he did, but she wasn’t taking any chances. The Force carried her to his side before she could even command her feet, slamming with such power into one imperial he seemed to drop dead where he was. She slashed her saber down, parrying a blaster shot before it found a nice home in someone’s skull. Her hair was sticking to her neck and forehead as she worked her way around in a circle in an attempt to take as much strain off her healer as possible. That’s when something hit her like a rancor to the sternum. It took her more time than she was allotted to piece together what happened and gather her breath, the Sith was already on top of her and bearing down. His saber radiated pure, gaseous wrath and bathed her in a wave of boiling, bloody light.
“You’re weak,” the Sith spat in her face despite his own straining. “You’re weak and I will kill you.” His knee crashed into her ribs with a thunderous crack that ripped a scream of pain from her exhausted throat. “Submit!” he bellowed as he bared his lightsaber closer to her face, crushing the arms that held her own saber against his so feebly.
“Never!” the Jedi hissed. She could feel herself losing and she hated it. She hated that everything hurt, everything felt so weak, and everything was screaming at her to give up. The screaming of the blades and her own mind drowned out the screeches of blaster fire in the background.
Doc was fighting his own battle, the only difference being he was winning. Dispatching the imps wasn’t the easiest thing without the Jedi but he managed nonetheless. He was bleeding and injured but he would live. “You know,” he muttered, not even aware that the Jedi had been swept away in the midst of his battle. “I’ve been offered jobs at multiple hospitals across the galaxy, but I have to keep telling the doctor ‘no, I like getting shot at!’...” with a deep breath Doc swiveled his head, noting the ringing in his ears and approximating the damage done to his hearing as he tried to find his Jedi whom he noticed to be disturbingly not there. “Hey, gorgeou-” once he saw her he rather wished he hadn’t. His bottom lip quivered and his legs shakily stumbled him forward a couple steps before ultimately collapsing under him. His dark eyes turned blurry and unfocused upon her unmoving body. Her name tumbled from his lips softly, a swift stab of worry and pain streaking through him when she didn’t respond. He crawled towards her upon finding his legs refused to support him, whispering her name to himself all the while. He begged that his suspicions weren’t true, that she was messing with him. Of course, she was! She was a rather unorthodox Jedi after all, right? A little joke like this was surely up her alley. All the while as he argued with himself something in the back of his mind, something small and scared told him that she wasn’t faking it.
“C’mon beautiful, this isn’t funny!” his words caught in his throat and were forced out in a sob once he got to her. He couldn’t lie to himself anymore. It was so brutally obvious she was gone what with a giant cauterized slash wound in her throat. The normally chatty man was as quite as the Jedi before him. He broke down as he gathered her into his arms and placed his forehead to her already chilling one. Doc futilely pulled out a kolto, muttering about how he was a genius about how he could heal her and about how she would be okay. How she had to be okay. The battlefield was empty and barren as he sat there with her body cradled in his arms, stroking her hair and whispering sweet nothings he knew she couldn’t hear. He probably sat out there for hours before backup came, the worried faces of republic soldiers and the rest of the Jedi's crew cresting the horizon changed quickly to confusion when all they saw was the hunched over figure sitting in the midst of the carnage. The clothes and blaster said it was Doc, but where was the Jedi?
“You can’t get rid of me this easily, gorgeous,” his cracking voice was the first thing the squad heard as they approached him. What they heard next sounded somehow even more broken than the last,
“We were supposed to be together for life, like the Wookies.”

Fictober 2019, Day 7
Prompt number: 7, “No, and that’s final.” Fandom: Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR) Pairing: Theron Shan/f!Jedi Knight Rating: T   Warnings: See “I think we should break up.”
Tumblr media
I was pretty sure my face-palm could have been heard all the way out to Hoth from here.  I walked out of the cockpit and tilted my head looking Doc in the eyes.  “What’s this really all about?  I don’t think we have a relationship that we’d need to even break up from.”
“Yeah, I know.  I got the hint when you said ‘No, and that’s final,’” Doc responded with a laugh.
I rubbed my temples, “I really don’t remember being that harsh.  More oblivious.”
He tapped a finger on his mouth.  “True, that’s more accurate.”
“So, then what is this break-up thing all about?”
“I got your attention, didn’t I?”
“Yes,” I sighed, rubbing my temple, “I am paying attention.  What is it?”
“If you see him again you need to be prepared.”  He nodded to emphasize his point.
I blinked, “Prepared for what?”
He was still stroking the goatee on his chin as he spoke, “Given his own birth, I am fairly certain he would be prepared himself to prevent any surprises.”
I stared at him and tried to look around to the rest of the crew, who seemed to have disappeared on me. “I am really lost.”
He was still on the same train of thought, not really paying attention to my complete confusion.  “Anyway, if you’re not comfortable talking lady things with me, here’s a recommendation for a lady doctor on Carrick Station.”
“Lady things?”
“Jyana, he’s talking about birth control,” Kira stated causing me to jump.  She’d hidden her presence in the Force so I had no idea she had been standing right behind me.
“What?”  That was when it dawned on me what everyone was talking about.  “Oh…. OH! Oh my god that is the last thing I have in mind.”
“Regardless.”  Doc didn’t seem startled at all and continued talking, “If you’re going to do the thing, you better be safe about it.”
“Why… I… “ I was at a loss for words.
Doc just shoved a data pad in my hands and I looked down at it for a while, just blinking.
“Useful information to have,” Kira stated, pointing at the pad, “Even for Jedi following the code.”
I sighed heavily.  “I really don’t know what you all are on about. Nothing’s happened.”
Kira just raised an eyebrow at me and moved the word, “Yet,” and then slid back towards her quarters.

Fictober Day 8
Title: Pins and Needles Fandom: SWTOR/Star Wars: The Old Republic Pairing: Doc/Female Jedi Knight AO3 link Summary:  As Doc waits on pins and needles for his wife’s return on Tython, the whole crew is at a loss. What will they do if Prethalo doesn’t come back?
Note: Takes place right after Take What You Need when Prethalo leaves the Order.
It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that the whole crew is restless.  Doc, Kira, T7.  Even their pillars of stoicism, Scourge and Rusk have gathered around the holo, waiting. But Doc’s not worried (he is), Prethalo wouldn’t choose the damn stodgy Jedi over them.  Well, maybe she would over Scourge and Rusk, though he doesn’t think so, and who could resist the pudgy bundle of cute in Doc’s arms?
Arina may not have been exactly what came to mind when he’d brought up the idea of ‘little Docs’ but she is, in every sense of the word, cute.  How could she leave this, leave them?
As if Arina senses the mood in the room, she flails in her blankets and lets out a piercing shriek. Ow.  That’s okay, he didn’t need that eardrum.  The rest of the crew looks uncomfortable for a moment, save Kira. She opens her mouth to speak, to make light of the growing dread in the room, but she falters when the airlock hisses open.
Doc hugs Arina a little closer.  With each ringing step up the stairs, the tension in the room grows, each of them pretending not to watch the door until finally, Prethalo enters the comm center. She looks startled for a moment.
“Kira, would you get us out of here please?”
The tension shatters but no one moves, even Kira.
“They’re letting me stay?” She asks, voice softer than Doc’s ever heard it.
“Thanks to Master Jorgan. Kira, please.”
The young knight claps Prethalo on the shoulder on her way out, and soon, the others follow, seemingly content that nothing’s changed.  Only their tiny family remains, and Prethalo is here, so why can’t he shake the prickling sensation from his skin? Arina fusses in her blankets again. It’s enough to jerk Prethalo out of her sudden stupor – she rushes at Doc and just as quickly they’re are wrapped in a tight embrace, Prethalo tucking her head against his shoulder.
“I love both of you so much.” Prethalo whispers, voice breaking.
“I…I know you do, Pre. You gave up everything for us.”
Prethalo laughs wetly, stroking Arina’s cheek. “You’re a fair trade.”

FIC: By the Guidance of Stars - Chapter 4
Title: By the Guidance of Stars Fandom: SWTOR Pairing: Theron Shan/f!Jedi Knight Rating: T (this chapter) Genre: Angst, H/C, Romance, Humor Synopsis: The Coalition tries to heal in the aftermath of the Battle of Yavin 4, but not every wound is physical. A series of missing scenes set during the end of Shadow of Revan. Warnings: See Chapter 1.
Chapter 1 | Chapter 2 | Chapter 3 | Crossposted to AO3
As morning wore on, the drizzle eased into a light mist and the camp began to rouse. The mugs of caf had long since been drained and Theron had reluctantly forced himself to begin tackling the mountain of paperwork waiting for him. That afternoon’s unofficial debrief loomed in the back of his mind, and in an effort to distract himself, he’d thrown himself into filling in as many details of the entire Revanite debacle on his official report, starting all the way back to the initial mission on Korriban.
Well. Most of the details. There were some interpersonal things that would not be making their way into an official report. He was only a kiss-and-tell kind of guy when it was part of the official mission log. And this confusing thing he had with a certain Jedi Master was nobody’s business but their own.
Of course, focusing on his paperwork would have been much easier if he didn’t have to keep trying to stop one Doctor Archiban Kimble from second-guessing the excellent care of sneaky medical droids.
“Can’t you just read whatever the droid wrote and let it go?” Theron grumbled. “I have to finish this report.”
“And I have to make sure that all of my hard work on Rishi wasn’t undone last night.”
“It wasn’t.” Theron glowered at him and then pointedly returned his attention to the datapad. “Now go away.”
“Yeah, that’s not going to work this time.”
“What’s not? Speaking Basic?”
“Your overworked slicer schtick. No datapads during medical examinations. Doctor’s orders.”
“Didn’t stop you last time.”
“Yes, well, I made an exception then because my favorite Jedi was about to be blown to smithereens by your grandpa’s cult.”
“It’s a few more generations than just grandfather.”
“Eh, details.” The datapad was deftly plucked from the spy’s hands and stowed inside of of one of the medic’s inner pockets. “You get this back after we’re done.”
“You’ve got nerves of steel, Doc,” Theron warned. “I’ve shot people for less.”
“Maybe, maybe not.” The medic grinned. “I figure I’m safe. A certain Jedi is very fond of me and my untimely death would make her very sad.”
“And what makes you think that would affect my aim?”
The medic arched one dark brow, as if it was obvious. “You seemed pretty concerned earlier from what I saw. Holding hands and everything.”
Theron wasn’t able to suppress the curse that slipped out. It wasn’t exactly a private area they’d been in, but he had hoped everyone had been too busy with their celebrations to notice that unplanned moment. Of course, unplanned moments seemed to be the norm with her rather than the exception.
Not that he had the greatest track record with sticking to a plan — he tended to fly by the seat of his pants at the best of times. But even if he’d wanted to, he never could have accounted for that ridiculous pirate costume she had picked up from a street vendor for her undercover persona. Nor for the way she got drunk during one of Jakarro’s cantina outings—forcing Theron to figure out how to transport a hopelessly inebriated Jedi back to their hideout without either of them getting shivved in a back alleyway. Or the way her grip on him had lingered before she’d left for that last battle on Rishi, practically shouting the order for Doc to stay behind and take care of him.
And actually if Theron thought about it longer, the one consistent factor in all of that had been the medic currently pulling out his scanner so he could begin to examine the chest of his very reluctant patient. As Doc had been the one to help her pick out that stupid outfit, had left an entire pitcher of fruity alcoholic drinks on the table after leaving their team gathering in a snit, and had been just as annoying at insisting on making sure Theron didn’t have any life-threatening internal injuries just like he was now.
The medic let out a quiet chuckle, apparently mistaking the reasoning for the glare pointed in his direction.
“Don’t worry, I made a lot of loud and rousing toasts over in my area of camp. Your aloof reputation is safe amongst the larger crowd.”
“I get the impression that wasn’t for my benefit,” Theron grumbled.
“No, it wasn’t.” Doc narrowed an eyebrow at the tiny screen in front of him, and started to do some more detailed scans over the previously injured area, as if he needed to double-check something. “But if getting a camp of Imperial and Republic troops inebriated in the early hours of the morning is what it takes to get that woman a small moment of peace, I’ll make that sacrifice for the greater good.”
“How magnanimous of you.”
“It’s a heavy burden sometimes, being such a hero.”
“Are you still drunk?”
“Eh, sober enough to look you over.”
“I think I feel safer with the droid.”
“Has anyone ever told you that you are a horrible patient?”
“Probably about as often as you’ve gotten complaints about your bedside manner.”
“You be quiet and let me finish.”
“And if I don’t?”
“I’ll call your mother over here.” Doc grinned.
“I swear I’m changing my last name when I get back to Republic space,” Theron muttered darkly.
“I’ll still know.”
“Two can play at that game, Archiban.”
Doc shot him a dirty look, but returned to fiddling with his scanner. “Look, I know you’ve got your own reasons, but still… thanks for looking out for her.”
Theron indeed had his own reasons, but much to his chagrin, none of them seemed to stem from anything remotely resembling reason. Of course, he hadn’t really ever been accused of being the most logical agent in SIS. However, there was no way he was admitting that aloud. “I get the impression that you and your crew have been through a lot.”
“Some of us more than others,” Doc muttered darkly.
“Yeah.” Theron pursed his lips. “Got that impression too.”
Considering Grey’s reaction earlier, that was putting it mildly. He was regretting not having figured out what had been redacted before they had gotten to this point—and before he’d made a promise to not pry. Of course, that six month gap had nearly put him off selecting her for the Korriban mission completely. If he’d done that, then he wouldn’t currently have to be listening to Doc ramble on. Of course, then he wouldn’t have met her either.
Something inside his chest twisted. It was probably because he’d been an idiot and had drank too much caf this morning instead of having a real breakfast. He probably needed to find something more substantial before the debrief this afternoon. Or maybe he could just choke a ration bar down as he didn’t really have much of an appetite at the moment.
Doc gave him a funny look, almost as if he’d been reading the spy’s inner thoughts. Theron didn’t really want to get a lecture on his poor diet on top of everything else this morning, so he just glared at the ground instead.
“I’m surprised you didn’t ask.”
“I might be a spy,” he ground out, “but I can respect boundaries. I’m not going to force her to relive anything just to satisfy my curiosity.”
“While I appreciate the gesture,” Doc said quietly, “I think things are going to come to a head sooner or later, whether or not you ask anything.”
Theron glared at the ground, not sure what to make of the internal war raging inside of his gut. “She’s still got you and the rest of your crew. Should be enough, right?”
The medic let out a sad sigh and shook his head, but didn’t say anything else on the subject. There wasn’t much to say, Theron had already made a promise not to pry, and he wasn’t about to go back on that. Keeping promises wasn’t exactly something most people in his line of work did. Although this wasn’t work. This was… it was…
It was none of his damn business is what it was.
And he knew that. Despite his chosen profession, there were some lessons from his childhood he’d had a hard time shaking off. A lot of adjustments—sacrifices even—had to be made in order to get the mission done, because that served a higher purpose in a way he couldn’t with his natural born talents, or lack thereof. It was often a struggle to be the person that Ngani Zho had raised him to be, and beyond just that, he wanted to be a man of his word. At least with the important people.
And she was... yeah. She was one of them.
It took a lot to get under his skin, but that little Jedi had managed it quite effectively. And despite his best efforts, he was just along for the ride at this point, that much was clear.
“Well,” Doc said, barely managing to keep irritation from bleeding into his tone, “looks like between my wonderful skills as a medic, a little help from the Grand Master, and that barely adequate droid, you’re going to be just fine.”
“I already told you that,” Theron said, his own frustration mounting. “If you had just believed me then we could have avoided this whole awkward conversation.”
“Yeah, well,” Doc said lightly, stowing his medical scanner, “I had to be sure. It would be irresponsible of me if I didn’t ensure that you were in peak physical condition before taking on any… strenuous activity.”
The insinuation on what the medic thought of Theron’s intentions was all too clear, and he couldn’t help but snarl. “That is none of your damn business.”
“I’m just looking out for your welfare,” Doc grinned. “You wouldn’t want to sprain anything. That would definitely kill the mood.”
“I am not having this conversation with you.”
“I assume you know all about using protection—“
“Give me my datapad!”
“And I expect you to behave like a proper gentleman.”
Theron’s hand curled into a fist, and it took all of his effort to keep it down at his side. “Now.”
Doc sighed dramatically, but pulled out the requested device with dramatic flair. “Fine, fine.”
The spy snatched the device and started to move away from the medic with a quickness.
“Oh, and Theron?”
“What?” he tossed over his shoulder, not bothering to hide his frustration and not slowing his hasty retreat in the slightest.
“I meant what I said back on Rishi.” The joviality had faded from Doc’s tone, leaving behind a steel certainty. “I know every way to cleanly break any bone in the body. I would keep that in mind if I were you.”
“You threatening me?”
“Only if you hurt her.”
“You and Scourge should form a club.”
“Not my first choice, but I’ll consider it. If it comes to that.”
Theron beat a quick retreat to the safety of one of the private tents before he could be pulled back into anything resembling conversation with the medic. He had no desire to hear any more advice on his love life. Or hear about the ways in which he would be maimed if things didn’t somehow go according to Doc’s outdated notions of romance. For possibly the first time in his career, Theron couldn’t wait to get lost in the minutiae of the Republic’s endless trail of paperwork.

BITTER QUESTIONS ASK
tagged by my girl @buffkreia who apparently forgot i’m a libra... still let’s give this a shot huh? Gonna do it for SW:TOR coz of course I am lmfao
What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?
Smuggler/Corso, Doc/Jedi Knight, PC/Arcann (he’s Kinda Bland lmao)
Are there any popular fandom OTPs you only BroTP?
Mako/Bounty Hunter largely because she’s canonically 19 and most ppl seem to create Bounty Hunters who are in like... their 30s. Actually I think Torian is about the same age although I wouldn’t be surprised if f!BHs skew younger.
Have you ever unfollowed someone over a fandom opinion?
Nope! Left a sw:tor discord once, but that was because it had a literal neo-nazi in it which isn’t really a fandom opinion anymore.
Do you have a NoTP in your fandom? Are they a popular OTP?
Doc I haven’t met I’ve just heard a lot about but Corso makes me really uncomfortable lmao so Smuggler/Corso. I don’t think they’re the Biggest Pairing™ but they have a bit of a following. Also not a fan of dark sith warriors with Vette or Jaesa, and considering the amount of dudes who go dark SW I feel like outside of tumblr that one is fairly popular.
Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?
Not yet, but I don’t interact with fandom a ton beyond my close pals so there’s that.
Has fandom ever made you enjoy a pairing you previously hated?
Hmmmm. Not that I can think of. My mate Io is really into f!si/f!smuggler, but I didn’t HATE that before I just didn’t really consider it.
Is there anything you used to like but can’t stand now?
I dunno if I ever liked Hutta but I absolutely despise it now. I’ve played it far too many times.
Have you received anon hate? What about?
yea lmfao but they were just telling me to “learn to queue”. I deleted it.
Most disliked character(s)? Why?
Doc, Corso, SKADGE, most dark sith warriors played by men, Valkorian (Vitiate was... i hated him as a person but not a character. Valkorion annoys me)
Most disliked arc? Why?
Kotfetet. Had some good moments, but overall didn’t really fit my chara. Also the Traitor Among Chiss flashpoint, but that’s because I ran it SO many times to get the armour set I’m very Done with it all.
Is there an unpopular character you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why?
[insert female sw:tor npc here]
Is there an unpopular arc that you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why?
Not necessarily an arc, but I like Hoth and Tatooine and a lot of people don’t.
Unpopular opinion about XXX character?
Koth was right to take the Gravestone from ur evil outlander lmao considering that you literally have to commit a war crime for him to do that
Unpopular opinion about your fandom?
80% of Imp mains you will meet in game absolutely SUCK imp fandom is full of racist, sexist edgelord dudebros. Also ppl who get pissy whenever their companions don’t 100% go along with their every move need to get over themselves and their power fantasies.
Unpopular opinion about the manga/show/game?
Consular story is good actually espc compared to the Knight, y’all just like to kill things too much.
If you could change anything in the show, what would you change?
Go back to unique class stories or at least unique bits for each class with the rest of the story being more “class neutral” instead of very clearly a jedi knight story. More female companions and more f/f options. Maybe some cross class romance options? I feel like that’d be possible now. Let us visit another Chiss planet.
Does not shipping something ‘popular’ mean you’re in denial and/or biased?
No??? People have different opinions.
What is the purest ship in the fandom?
Za’i/Crisis, Crisis/Luna, Crisis/Luna,Quinn, Za’i/Crisis/Luna/Quinn In all srsness? ls!jaesa x ls!f!sw, vector x IA, f!jk x kira carsen, f!jc x kira carsen, ls!jaesa x vette
What are your thoughts on crack ships?
Love em. They’re just fun ya know?
Popular character you hate?
Skadge. He is WAY too popular among imp main edgelord dudebros. Like... he’s just gross lmao.
Unpopular character you love?
Does Quinn count? Also haven’t I already answered this? Answer same as above idk why it would’ve changed in the 2mins btwn me answering that one and this one.
Would you recommend XXX to a friend? Why or why not?
Yea.... I adore it even when it’s kinda shit.
Most shippable character?
Vette. She could reasonably meet MOST characters in the game so there’s a lot of potential.
Least shippable character?
Look.... if I said I dislike or hate them.... assume they count here. Also I love Blizz, but like.... they’re not shippable.... let’s NOT start shipping jawas ok. same with T7 get ur robot fetish from literally any other droid in the game you weirdos.

Lessons From a Spy - Part 1 Theron Shan x Jedi Knight This will probably come in two or three parts. Please be gentle, my writing is very rusty. Thanks for reading! --- Aeryvana had accomplished many things in her lifetime. From taking down flesh raiders, to sith lords, to the incredibly powerful Emperor, and finally, more recently, Revan. There was nary a thing she couldn’t do. But, those were all missions out on the field, many in battle, in life or death situations. Where she was never truly sure if she’d live to tell the tale. Sure, she had the force, an edge many didn’t have. However, that never stopped her from being nervous or scared. It was only her training that allowed her to overcome those thoughts and thrive. For that, she would always be eternally grateful.
That said, being asked to attend the formal Life Day celebration as an honored guest in the Federal District of Coruscant was an entirely different monster. See, Aeryvana never thought herself a diplomat. It just wasn’t in her nature. She never cared for politics or law, preferring the simplistic life of a Jedi. However, ever since the Yavin 4 incident many individuals requested her presence and opinions. The temporary alliance between the Republic and Empire had been labeled as top secret, with information given on a need to know basis. But that didn’t stop the rumors from floating. Her simplistic existence, as simplistic as it could be considering the nature of her exploits, had exploded into something she wasn’t sure she’d be able to control. She was now Aeryvana, the Jedi who succeeded where no other could, the Negotiator. She wasn’t quite sure she liked it. This was one of the biggest, if not the biggest celebration in Republic controlled space. There was no doubt in her mind the gathering would be ornate in the festivities, filled with laughter and music, and many, many diplomats just itching to cozy up to her and convince her to help them with whatever it may be. It went completely against everything Aeryvana was comfortable with. She wasn’t a party girl. Never really went to the cantinas. While some of her Jedi allies liked going out to have an enjoyable time she preferred to stay in and read a book or catch up on one of the many shows she started but could never finish on the Holonet. Plus, there was most certainly going to be dancing, something she could never do. Well, she could, but she wasn’t good at it. Aeryvana learned very quickly in her teen years that she had two left feet. One would think being a Jedi would mean having a fluid form and impeccable foot work. She certainly did have beautiful footwork. But that footwork was in fighting, not dancing. When Master Satele, another invitee to the celebration, said that all guests honor would have a grand dance to open the festivities, Aeryvana did her best to not panic. It made her rethink her decision to accept the invitation in the first place. Not that she could take it back at this point. It would reflect badly on her and the Jedi as a whole.   As Aeryvana continued to meditate in her room of the small apartment she acquired shortly after defeating the Emperor the first time, working to control her nerves and overcome them, she tried coming up with a plan that didn’t involve her humiliating herself in front of the entire Senate body. She couldn’t ask Scourge; the former Wrath would just laugh at her.  Sure, they had a good working relationship, but they weren’t close enough for that type of request. There was also the idea of asking Doc to assist, but the man had a tough time not flirting with her. It was surely harmless, Doc had a heart of gold, but…it just didn’t feel right.  Kira was off planet, working a mission that didn’t require Aeryvana’s assistance. T7-01 and C2-N2 weren’t good matches either. That only left one person she could think of… Aeryvana flushed a light red. She hadn’t seen Theron since Yavin 4. With her being an in-demand Jedi and him being one of the top SIS agents, it took less than twenty hours for them to receive new mission details. They were both pulled away before they could really talk about what happened between them and where things would go from there. But then again, Jedi weren’t allowed to form attachments. It was something that Aeryvana had taken to heart for many years, but in that moment on Yavin 4, when Theron had so carefully challenged her and her skills, it woke something inside her she had never felt before. It many respects, it terrified her. Releasing passion was something Jedi didn’t do. It was something a Sith would do. Aeryvana was not Sith. But Lana was. Lana Beniko, Sith in name but only partly in nature. When Aeryvana first caught Lana’s force signature it caught her off guard. While certainly dark, it wasn’t as dark as those she came across before. And as she spent more time with Lana and Theron, fighting through Manaan, Rishi, and Yavin 4, she came to realize that the Sith and Jedi were more similar than she realized. It made her begin to question the many teachings given to her as a child and young adult. ‘You’re getting distracted Aeryvana. Stop it,’ she forced her eyes to open and scan the room contemplatively, ‘you have an issue to solve. Now solve it.’ She really, would rather not. She wasn’t sure she was prepared to see Theron again. He came flying into her life so quickly, so forcefully, Aeryvana had no true idea of what to do. Before she could have done anything different they were pulled into a whirlwind situation that could barely be controlled.  It was partially out of fear of falling for her passions once more that held her back. But it was also partially out of fear for the whole ordeal was a one-time thing. The whole oxymoron bothered her to a great degree. It was this very thing that made Aeryvana appreciate and abhor the no attachments rule at the same time. Made things so much less confusing. Untangling her legs from underneath her Aeryvana stood and stretched, knowing full well what she needed to do, but was conflicted on actually doing it. Sighing, she strode over to her personal holoterminal and clicked it on, scrolling past the various names until she found his. Her fingers hesitated over the call button. Would he even be home? Would he answer? She shook her head and refocused, pressing the call on to initiate contact before she could change her mind. Her foot tapping nervously behind her waiting. A few clicks and Aeryvana began to second guess herself and hope that he wasn’t home, so she could just leave a message and hang up. But the force was certainly not on her side today. Or maybe it was and just playing games with her mind. For when she moved her fingers to initiate leaving a message, the beeping stopped, and a very familiar face came into view.  His hair disheveled, deep brown eyes tired, looking like he hadn’t slept in a few years, but Theron Shan was no less handsome now than he was back on Yavin 4. Aeryvana fought down her nervousness, taking on the calm and controlled face of a Jedi Knight. “Oh, I’m sorry, did I wake you?” Theron rubbed his eyes and sat up, a blanket pooling around his waist “No, it’s fine. I just got home. You know how work goes.” “A spy’s job is never done,” Aeryvana smiled softly. “It certainly is not. It’s been awhile Aery. What do I owe this pleasure?” She could feel is eyes scanning her and she did her best to not let it get under her skin, but she did shift her body weight to try and get a bit more comfortable. “I…. need your assistance with something.” “Does it involve blowing things up and life or death situations?” “No, nothing life threatening.” “Wow, I’ll have to mark my calendar.” “Theron!!” Aeryvana glared and flushed indignant as the man began to laugh. “Aww, you know I jest. In all seriousness, what do you need?” He looked at her in such a way that Aeryvana’s heart raced.   And it wasn’t out of nerves. She cleared her throat, rather embarrassed, “You know how the yearly Life Day celebration is coming fast?” “Yeah, I’m being dragged to it as a,” he held up his hands in air quotes, “guest of honor. I just think it’s the SiS’ way of getting out of sending someone else.” A small smile graced Aeryvana’s face, “That wouldn’t surprise me.” “Now, what about this get together has you calling me all antsy?” She made an unhappy noise in the back of her throat that Theron just barely picked up on, “what’s wrong?” “I can’t dance,” she finally whispered after a moment, refusing to look at him. He blinked at her somewhat confused, “Really? That’s what’s bugging you?” “…. Unfortunately,” she sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose, “and I was hoping you would teach me how.” Theron studied the female cathar for a brief moment before the corners of his mouth tipped upwards, “I suppose I could. Especially considering we haven’t seen each other in a few months. It’s not like you’re avoiding me or anything.” “Theron, you know it’s not—” “I’m know, but you know we’re going to have to talk about it sooner or later.” “I’d rather not over holoterminal.” She heard him sigh and she felt the coil of nerves tighten in her belly, “we’ll talk about it, just, not right now.” “Okay, you win this round,” he looked at her intently before continuing, “in the meantime, your dance lessons start immediately. You know where I live right?” Aeryvana nodded, “I’ll see you in about an hour.” Theron gave a two-finger salute before disconnecting their call, allowing for Aeryvana to finally release the pent-up tension in her body. Just talking with him still set her body and mind off in a blaze of emotions no matter what she did to deny them. Even Master Satele lost to them at least once, but was that such a terrible thing? It brought Theron into the world and thus into her life. Aeryvana’s job was dangerous, her enemies could use him against her. But at the same time, Theron could hold his own, she saw that quite clearly multiple times and especially against Revan. Regardless she still felt a deep desire to protect him, to make sure nothing stood in his way or, heaven forbid, take his life.  Alas, she would have to mull things over more later, she had a spy to meet for some dancing lessons. What could go wrong?

SWTOR Fic: Time and Tides (Pt. 1)
Summary: An unexpected arrival provides for a potentially awkward reunion. (Emrys Legacy - Theron Shan/Female JK -- Annya x Theron)
Notes: A very definite “what if” that I’ve been playing with for almost a year now. The muses were finally willing to cooperate. At least for the beginning. I don’t know yet if this is canon for “Between the Lines.” I’ll get back to you on that. If it were, it would fall somewhere between Chapter 7 (”Holding Pattern”) and Chapter 8 (”Clue-By-Four”).
More to come.
Posted without beta and with minimal revision.
Sighing, Lana Beniko lowered herself into her desk chair, blowing away the steam billowing from her cup of caf. She was just reaching for her first datapad when she sensed a familiar presence lurking in her doorframe. “Good morning, Kaliyo,” she said. She didn’t bother to look up as she booted up the datapad.
“You Force sensitives are all so creepy when you do that,” the arsonist groused. She folded her arms across her chest, leaning against the bulkhead.
The Sith cast a glance upward, arching a fine blonde brow. “I could say something similar about your propensity to lurk in the shadows, but I’ll refrain,” she retorted. She tapped a few more commands into the device, unlocking a file for her perusal.
“Hey, I can’t help that you guys are more entertaining than a holonovel.” A suggestive smirk curled across her lips. “The only thing really missing are the gratuitous sex scenes. The constant fade to black does nothing for me.”
Lana heaved sigh and fully looked up for the first time. “Was there something in particular you needed? Or are you just here to discuss your voyeuristic tendencies?”
“A bit of both,” Kaliyo answered with a chuckle. She jerked her thumb over her shoulder. “There’s a new arrival out there.”
“And?”
“And it might give our favorite super-spy the biggest cockblock in history.” Her grin widened as Lana regarded her with confusion, turning to offer her a sidelong glare. “Doctor Archiban Kimble is standing out on the shuttle pad.”
Shock swept over her, and she felt her grip on the datapad falter. Reaching instinctively into the Force, she bolstered herself, recovery almost instant. “Kriffing Hells.” The frown returned. “Has anyone told the Commander?”
“I said I’d take care of it.” An odd mix of amusement and sincerity lit the Rattataki eyes. “But I know Spy-Boy just got back from a two-week recruiting mission and the lovebirds haven’t exactly been spotted yet this morning. I figure having the ex rapping on the door might be bit of a rude wake up call.”
“That’s… unusually altruistic of you, Kaliyo.”
“What can I say? I ‘ship it.” Kaliyo shrugged, smirking. “And Kimble’s not a bad guy. He doesn’t deserve to walk in on that... It’s not his kink.”
“There’s no guarantee they --” The arsonist arched her own brow, and Lana sighed. She allowed her eyes to drift left as her focus shifted, seeking out the Force signatures of her two friends. As a Jedi knight, Annya Emrys had learned an unobtrusive manner of cloaking, one that projected a signature, but did not allow access to surface thoughts or emotions. While not effective for interrogation, it was exceedingly useful for infiltration -- and protection of privacy. So it was with a degree of difficulty that Lana found her signature, shielded though it was.
Theron Shan was an entirely different case. As a boy, he had learned many Force manipulation techniques -- in theory. His poor connection to the galactic energy, however, left little practical experience. Thus, like most good operatives, Theron had instead learned to block the possible mental intrusions of Force users by constructing what was, in simple terms, a wall around his signature. As a result, he appeared much like a singularity in the Force. It was this technique that frequently served as his default, usually when he was too distracted to harness his emergent Force abilities. It also meant he stood out like the proverbial sore thumb... exactly as he did at that moment.
Drawing back to herself, Lana closed her eyes and shook her head. “Right,” she said, pushing herself to her feet. She pointedly ignored the knowing smirk that spread across Kaliyo’s features. “I’ll meet him; get a read on what he wants. I’m sure the Commander will want to see him… at some point.”
“When she comes up for air.” Kaliyo paused. “You don’t think he knows about the Commander and Spy-Boy?”
The Sith frowned at her as she tapped a command on the datapad. It would, in the next few moments, dispatch a time-delayed message to Theron’s implant, strongly suggesting he contacted her at the earliest convenience. “You’re more than welcome to return to your duties,” she said.
“I’ll take that as ‘no.’”
Lana strode past her, heading into the corridor and toward the lift. To her frustration, Kaliyo merely fell into step beside her. An expectant silence fell between them. “No,” she replied at length. “I don’t think he knows. They were fairly discreet during the Revan matter but, from my understanding, there wouldn’t have been much to tell. The Commander was very much a Tythonian Jedi. At the time.”
Kaliyo gave a chuckle as they stepped into the lift. “They’ve tried to be discreet since before I got here,” she commented. “Fails pretty miserably when he doesn’t even live in his own quarters.”
“How did you --?” Lana stopped herself short as the lift doors opened, then strode out. Her scowl deepened when the firebug continued to follow her. “Let me guess: Jorgan.”
“Funny thing about training -- sometimes you get to know the person you’re working with.” She rounded the corner, keeping up easily with the woman beside her. “Turns out he likes not having to share, and I’m sure Theron prefers not having to clean furballs out of his shower drain… among the other perqs.”
The Sith drew a deep breath. She would have to speak with Jorgan… and, it seemed, with Theron. But first, there was another issue to resolve -- with or without Kaliyo in tow. Her feet covered the remaining distance to the landing pad quickly. She found the doctor standing just to the side of the transport, silhouette mostly unchanged since they last met.
“Doctor Kimble,” she said, extending her hand. “Lana Beniko. I’m not sure if you remember me --”
“Creepy Sith Intelligence lady,” Doc interrupted. He clasped her hand with his own, notably still wearing a set of well-fitted leather gloves. “Kaliyo said you were helping run things around here.”
“Yes -- acting as Director of Administration,” Lana explained. She pursed her lips, briefly casting a glance to Kaliyo. “I’m afraid Annya is in a debrief and won’t be available for some time. If you’d like to wait…”
His brow furrowed and he swallowed, averting his eyes for a moment before looking back to her. “If she doesn’t wanna see me --”
Lana sensed the flicker of pain -- worry, heartache, embarrassment -- he didn’t quite manage to smother. But then, she thought, he was never trained to. “Her crew was one the first things she asked about when we arrived,” she said. “I rather suspect she will want to see you. But she truly is otherwise engaged at the moment.”
Behind her, Kaliyo gave a cough. She turned a flickering glare at the Rattataki, then looked back to Kimble. “Perhaps you’d join me for a cup of caf? I was just settling in with my first cup when Kaliyo informed me you were here.”
If he noted the interplay between the Alliance personnel, Doc didn’t react. Instead, he pursed his lips and gave a single nod. “Think I could handle that.”
“If you’ll come with me then, Doctor, we’ll make our way to the mess hall…”
Turning, Lana drew a deep breath, exhaling discreetly as she led the way to the lift. Dammit, Theron, she thought, you’d better check your messages...

Note
1-5 for swtor
Thanks for the ask!
1. What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?
Quinn x Vette. It’s not among the most popular ships in the fandom, but I’ve seen quite a few people ship it and create content for it. It’s one of the ships that I like the individual characters involved but the idea of them together as a ship gross me out.
Quinn and Vette are not compatible: They dislike each other in canon, not to mention Quinn is a staunch Imperial who is rather conservative when it comes to Imperial politics, including being approved of slavery, while Vette, with her identity as a non-Force Sensitive Twi’lek girl who is also a former slave, is an underdog in Imperial spaces and thus, she is not compatible with diehard Imperials.
Quinn and Vette may try to tolerate each other if the Sith Warrior is on good terms with both of them, but the idea of Quinn x Vette as a ship never works for me, even for a crack ship.
2. Are there any popular fandom OTPs you only BroTP?
None I can think of.
3. Have you ever unfollowed someone over a fandom opinion?
Although I have unfollowed people over fandom opinions, it never happened with SWTOR opinions specifically.
4. Do you have a NoTP in your fandom? Are they a popular OTP?
The amount of my NoTPs for SWTOR isn’t small, but for the main ones I would say any ship involving Doc, Pierce or Corso, especially ships that pair them with any woman, since in canon they all have really questionable treatment of women. Female Jedi Knight x Doc, Female Sith Warrior x Pierce and Female Smuggler x Corso all have their own dedicated fanbase in the tumblr SWTOR fandom. By comparison, my other NoTPs, such as Quinn x Vette, have smaller fanbase.
I don’t care for male player x female love interest pairings in SWTOR or any other BioWare game in general, but Male Sith Warrior x Dark Side!Jaesa deserves a special mention for the sheer amount of (cishet) male power fantasy writing in the “romance” arc and DS!Jaesa’s character arc in general. It’s not a popular pairing on tumblr, but it’s very popular in the general SWTOR player base, since there are many dudebros among the general player base.
5. Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?
Sith Warrior x Pierce, especially Female Sith Warrior x Pierce.
I could rant forever about how Pierce stans are among the most unpleasant Quinn haters in the fandom. They act like just because Pierce never betrays the Sith Warrior it makes Pierce a better person than Quinn, and how Pierce is such a “real man” compared to Quinn. Pierce stans love to drag Quinn through the mud but they refuse to acknowledge the unsavoury shit their fave has done (the Lorant thing is the most prominent example), and that their fave is not any more progressive than Quinn when it comes to Imperial politics. The “Female Sith Warrior cheating on Quinn with Pierce/having revenge sex with Pierce” is also one of my most hated SWTOR fanon tropes.
The sheer amount of vitriol the shippers have displayed towards Quinn has completely soured me on this ship, and Pierce himself as well, to the point that I actively hate Pierce, SW x Pierce and Pierce stans.

Dialogue prompts: “I think we should break up.”
I sat heavily in the co-pilot seat on the Defender as I returned from the Manaan orbital station.  “Lay in a course for Tython, Kira.”
The red-headed Jedi gave me a raised eyebrow and worked on laying in a course and preparing the ship to launch.
I watched as a smaller craft went into hyperspace and pinched the bridge of my nose.
“Master Jedi?”
“Seriously, Doc… just call me Jyana… or Jy.” There was probably a bit more exasperation in my voice than I had intended.
“Of course, gorg… Jyana. I think we should have a talk.”
Kira and I exchanged slightly confused glances and I got out of my seat to walk back to him as he perched at the doorway.
“Alright, how can I help you, Doc?”
“I think we should break up.”
I blinked. “What?”
“What?” Kira exclaimed as she worked to get the Defender out of dock.
“What?” I asked again.
Doc continued on, though the smirk on his face was evident.  “Oh the usual things, it’s not you, it’s me, we should see other people, that kind of thing.”
“Doc… we were never a thing.”
He continued on, “Anyway, I did notice how you looked at that SIS Agent…”
“Indeed,” chimed in a deep monotone imperial voice as the large sith pureblood just walked by and didn’t look back.
I just stared at them both, not really knowing what to make of this.
“There is a point there…”
“You too, Kira?”
“What?  The Grand Master’s son?  It’s not like I didn’t notice either.”
I was pretty sure my face-palm could have been heard all the way out to Hoth from here.

swtor for the ask meme
(From this ask meme)
Favorite character: If I’m going to pick just one character, it would be Light Side!Jaesa. She is so different from most other “fallen Jedi” in the Star Wars universe in that even after being let down by the Jedi Order, leaving the Order and joining a Sith, LS!Jaesa still remains a staunch follower of the Light with strong moral beliefs, and she eventually finds her own path as a Light Side Force user. Not to mention Jaesa is a woman of colour - as a woman of colour myself, when it comes to fictional characters I prioritize female characters of colour above all else.
Least Favorite character: There are quite a few characters I truly despise so it’s difficult for me to pick just one: Vitiate/Valkorion, Skadge, Doc, Tharan, Pierce and Corso.
5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Vette x LS!Jaesa, Lana x Female Sith Warrior x Quinn, Female Smuggler x Risha, Female Trooper x Elara, Jedi Consular x Felix
Character I find most attractive: Jaesa.
Character I would marry: Elara. She’s probably the best wife material for me out of all the ladies in SWTOR.
Character I would be best friends with: Probably LS!Jaesa since we have very similar personalities. Also Vette, since I would like to be friends with women who deeply cherishes women and are passionate about fighting for her people.
a random thought: As a lesbian of colour, I wish we could have wlw romance options who are also women of colour, since both Lana and Lemda - the only two wlw romance options we currently have - are white. Not to mention wlwoc get very little media representation in general.
An unpopular opinion: Despite the Republic’s many, many flaws, the Sith Empire is still worse for being an inherently fascist organisation. I hate the argument that both the Republic and the Sith Empire are equally bad, and if I never see another “at least the Empire is honest about being evil” comment again it would be too soon.
my canon OTP: Female Sith Warrior x Lana
Non-canon OTP: Vette x LS!Jaesa
most badass character: I would say LS!Jaesa again, since I feel her badass qualities are very underappreciated. During the Sith Warrior story, she’s willing to go behind her master’s back to reach out to the Sith Warrior as an attempt to negotiate. During her companion storyline, she does not let her initial failure to ally with the light side Sith consume her, and she survives her encounter with a Sith Lord who is hunting for the Light Side Sith alone. Even back when Jaesa was still a Padawan, she managed to complete the Demon’s Blood by herself, without fighting or killing the Sand Demon.
pairing I am not a fan of: I have a fair amount of NoTPs for SWTOR so it’s difficult to just pick one, though the main ones are Male Sith Warrior x DS!Jaesa, Female Jedi Knight x Doc, Female Sith Warrior x Pierce, Female Jedi Consular x Tharan and Female Smuggler x Corso. My NoTPs that does not involve a player character include Pierce x Vette and Quinn x Vette.
character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): The biggest examples are Vaylin, Saresh and Koth. I will always be bitter about how much KotET goes out of its way to portray Vaylin as irredeemable and thus forcing players to kill her. Saresh’s writing has been going downhill after Makeb, and her plotline in KotET seems like the writers deliberate and contrived attempt to justify being able to kill her to pander to Saresh haters. Koth also gets screwed over by KotFE and KotET’s bad writing and the writers’ attempt to pander to his haters.
favourite friendship: Vette & Female Sith Warrior, LS!Jaesa & Female Sith Warrior
character I want to adopt or be adopted by: I would like Senya as my space mum.
