i was forced to talk about dragon age today, now i am forwarding it on to you. tell me about "the best all lack conviction"
oh maaaaan this one is fenders which idk how you feel about, but basically it's the result of me going "90% of the fenders out there is not complicated enough for me, I need it to be messy and slow burn and not one-sided in terms of who is getting offered understanding for their perspective, guess I'd better write it myself!!!" and promptly have taken, what, five years? more? to do that
but I go back and work on it periodically, and I like a lot of what I have actually, though I'm still a long way from getting them anywhere resembling a reconciliation let alone a relationship. but the journey is the fun part anyway so
it's a classic "hostile road trip" setup in terms of plot, because I am the person I am and "hostile road trip" will always be one of my favorite ways of forcing characters to cooperate :D
the title is from "the second coming" by yeats, specifically the lines: "The best lack all conviction, while the worst  / Are full of passionate intensity."
a snippet:
“Mage,” he said harshly. “Are you awake?”  The lack of response suggested not. “Anders,” he tried more loudly, just in case, but that was equally pointless. He breathed out through his nose and rolled him to his back. His forehead was still clear, unbranded, though there was blood dried on his face, probably from a blow to the head.  Fenris looked up at the sky like some help might come from there, but the most noteworthy feature there was still the rift emitting its sickly greenish light.  Rummaging through the Templars’ things he managed to find two healing potions. He maneuvered Anders to a sitting position so he didn’t choke when Fenris poured one into his mouth, and let go quickly when he came awake coughing. “Ouch,” Anders said, when he stopped. “My head hurts.”  “I imagine it does,” Fenris said grimly. “Get up. There might be more of them nearby.” “More of,” Anders started to say, and then started up. “Wait, there were,” he said, and then finally seemed to absorb the carnage of his surroundings. “I missed something.”  “Yes,” Fenris said. “Did you hear me? Get up.” “Okay,” Anders said, and started to stand up only to almost fall over. Fenris had to catch him, but though he braced for the skin crawling, achy feeling being too close to Anders always gave him, it seemed muted, less intense. “I hate magebane,” Anders said. “Makes me feel like a drunk foal, all wobbly and…strange. You’re tingly.”  Fenris gave him a sidelong look, unnerved. “Tingly?” “Mm, yeah,” Anders said. “Sort of. Like…like mint. But on skin.”  Fenris shifted his shoulders and started dragging Anders away, though he didn’t really know where he was going. He couldn’t both keep hold of Anders and hold his sword, so he set Anders down momentarily to wipe his blade clean before sheathing it. Then he pulled Anders up again.  “You’re really strong,” Anders said. Fenris made a noise at the back of his throat. “Stop talking, mage,” he said. “And get moving.”

Nissan March N2
In recent years, there has been a wide range of modification categories that even amateurs can participate in.
- has almost disappeared, but NISMO produced it in order to revive races like the TS race of the past.
It's the N2 of the city. Aero parts such as over fenders
It is equipped with a tuned engine that matches the exterior.
Tumblr media
●The exterior is equipped with a front chin spoiler, over fender, and rear roof spoiler. ②③ The cockpit has not been significantly modified other than removing unnecessary items and installing necessary items such as a roll cage, meters, and steering wheel. ●The tread has been widened to fill the over fender, but this is due to the extension of the lower arm. ●The front is equipped with a height-adjustable shock, while the rear has its own spring and shock. ●An N2 specification engine that has been tuned mainly around the head in accordance with N2 regulations. By the way, the sports kit's piston is the same as the normal piston for the 1000cc engine. The throttle remains a single throttle.

New Post has been published on https://www.vividracing.com/blog/best-wheels-and-fitment-options-for-the-toyota-gr-86-subaru-brz/
Best Wheels and Fitment Options for the Toyota GR-86 / Subaru BRZ
The GR-86 is quite possibly one of the best looking vehicles to come from Toyota since the late 90’s. Each curve and each line feels purposefully placed and well executed. Even the factory wheels are better than 90% of factory wheels on the streets today. However, as we add suspension, aero, and begin the hunt for mechanical grip, it becomes immediately clear that an upgrade on all four corners is the next logical step. The question then becomes, what fitment should you go with?
Lucky for you, we are intimately familiar with the GR-86. Understanding everything from the CANBUS system limitations to the pesky RTV oil pan issues, so wheels should be no problem. Right? Well that depends. We’ll observe three very different styles of fitment and recommend a feasible wheel. Your tire choice, which we will leave completely up to you, will determine your mechanical grip, your fender modification requirement, and the overall final fit and finish of your 86. However, we have to start with what comes factory. The GR-86 has a few wheel options, but the size reference we will go with is 18×7.5 +48 with a 5×100 bolt pattern. While the bolt pattern alone with limit you tremendously, we can all agree that the factory wheel specs are… ‘Mid’ at best.
If you’re looking for something a bit wider than factory, without having to modify your fenders or worry about your fender liners, going up 1 inch in width and down 13mm in offset is the way forward. The Rotiform DTM, starting at under $1400 per set is a perfect candidate for this fitment style, sporting an 18×8.5 +35 spec and a silver finish will be sure to add a bit more style to an otherwise factory GR86, plus you can rest easy knowing you have the history and reputation of Rotiform keeping you safe. If that’s a bit out of budget, no worries, we have countless budget options in this very fitment to get you right.
 Rotiform R170 DTM | 18×8.5 +35 (Part #R1701885F3+35)
If you want fitment so flush, there’s no dip from fender to wheel face, we recommend 18×9 +40. Flush fitment often requires some trimming of the fender wells and often times, the final result is so worth it. To achieve this look, we recommend the Volk ZE40, but if that’s out of budget, the Enkei PF05 is also a sure fit for those looking to add some dimension to their GR86 without breaking the bank.
Volk Racing ZE40 | 18×9 +40 (Part #WKZW40DA)
Enkei RPF1 | 18×9 +40 (Part #504-890-8040GM)
While those looking for battle stance (less wheel, more tire) would opt for 17” wheels, the dimensions as far as width and offset are the same as they are with the 18’s. For this crowd, we recommend 17×9 +35 to +45 with minor trimming. However, if you want a little poke, keep the diameter at 18” and go with a set of SSR GTX01’s in 18×9.5 +40, add some 200 treadwear tires, and enjoy the pass.
  SSR GTX01 | 18×9.5 +40 (Part #XA18950+4005CDK)
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to one of our fitment specialists!

Taylor swift is mediocre. Truly mediocre and I hate that no one can criticize her before someone jumps in and screams misogyny. I’m sure she has been at the end of a lot of misogyny in her career, but criticizing her is not something people should start throwing out phrases like “internalized misogyny” and such. To me she does more damage to the feminist movement along with her boderline evangelical fundamentalist behaving fans.
Before I answer this, I wanna make one thing clear. I am not a Taylor Swift hate page, I will not entertain hate asks. This is the only thing I’m going to answer about this. While I recognise that she has talent (truly, she is a great lyricist), she is nowhere near talented enough to be as big as she is. But then again, no one is, and I rather it be her than a mediocre white man.
I actually fell out with one of my closest friends on here over TS. Like going from telling each other nearly everything to blocking and not talking. Which sucks, cause we went through some insane shit together like. I have been called a misogynist and other pretty words for saying I don’t like TS’s music (to which I now refer you to my Apple Replay and Spotify wrapped - and no. TS and Sam Fender are not the same genre) When I answered the insults with “If Taylor is so big on feminism and girls supporting girls she would hate you being so nasty to me rn” I got a reply back “actually she would love it cause she is the pettiest girl there is” which should tell you enough about Taylor’s feminism and (performative) activism lol
To be honest, I did enjoy her music when I was younger. But her fandom is the absolute fucking worst. Like the worst™️. (No offence moots, not you but like the crazies yk) and honestly that’s like the biggest reason why I stay away from her and her music. 1. It’s mediocre 2. Some fans in her fandom is borderline cultlike sometimes. And obv 3. She’s a rich spoilt nepo baby used to getting her way, which she has. At least she knows how to write songs and play instruments. And I’m sure she’s interested in world issues, but when push comes to shove she. Does. Not. Care. What. Doesnt. Affect. Her. And she never will. Rich people never will

Signal flow: yamaha sg30, into OC2 clone, into ASD, which hits a TS-50B clone and then sends to a fender ultimate chorus. the amp is mic'd with a shure b57 which feeds an input channel on the soundcraft spirit monitor. There is an intervoice preamp clone inserted on the channel, which then sends to the master output as well as an aux out which returns on a separate channel. The second channel has a compressor inserted on it and is then slowly added into the master out until it thickens up the sound just right. The main output sends to the device that records audio directly into my phone and that's what you're hearing! ya know, just the basics. 🔊😵💕
also featuring my Halloween snoopy's and a closeup shot of the ASD art cause I can't get enough of how gorgeous it turned out!
checkout @ plukibunni on instagram, she created the ASD artwork for me and the rest of her work is just as cool.

Handmade Wood Toy Truck Fat Fendered Panel Wagon Hand Painted With Bright Red Acrylic Paint and Amber Shellac 1413270977

More Fat Fendered Cars
In a world where plastic toys dominate the market, handmade wooden toys hold a special place in the hearts of those who appreciate the craftsmanship and durability that comes with them. One example is this fat-fendered handmade wood toy panel truck.
This charming toy truck is a product of the creative mind and skilled hands of the artisan who made it. The truck's design is inspired by classic American pickups from the 1940s and 50s, with its distinctive fat-fendered body. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the truck, from the carefully crafted wheels to the painted exterior.
One of the most appealing features of this wooden toy truck is its durability. This handmade truck is built to last, unlike plastic toys that can easily break or wear down over time. The solid wood construction can withstand rough play.
Another benefit of buying a handmade wooden toy like this truck is that it is eco-friendly. Many plastic toys end up in landfills, where they can take hundreds of years to decompose. In contrast, wooden toys are biodegradable and can be easily recycled or repurposed when no longer needed.
When you purchase a handmade wooden toy like this panel truck, you are supporting a small business and skilled artisan and investing in a toy that will last for years. It's the perfect gift for a child or collector who appreciates classic American trucks' beauty and nostalgia.
In conclusion, the handmade fat-fendered wood toy panel truck is a beautiful and durable toy that will delight children and adults alike. Its classic design, attention to detail, and eco-friendliness make it an excellent choice for anyone looking for a unique, high-quality toy. So why settle for a plastic toy when you can have a handmade wooden one built to last?

What it is is your bosses are too cheap and don't want you to have anything because they're very stupid about the max and they saw the clones get beat even by them and the max are fighters and have been having the wars for a long time and they're completely ignorant about what they need they needed all their armies intact in order to do something believing all sorts of dumb s*** so they don't get him a pen or a nice paper they're a bunch of jerks they're all about to die and Matt tried to explain it he said you're surrounding me I shouldn't be here and you don't get it you can't even shut up to listen cuz you're so damn dumb it's absolutely true so your bosses are evil pieces of s*** and they're greedy and they're morons and they think they can buy anything and force us to sell it to them and more just really really rancid so they won't get in my pen and or decent paper so he's doing the best he can but you can pretty much can get it and people can straighten it out for you it's not that complicated
-you run two straight bars half inch and it's good strength steel on the top and of course they spread apart at the same place and they continue towards the seat and you connect them at the very back and you can put a stifter on the inside and even hang it down a little to attach the fender with it and
-the bottom two half inch rod you want to run from the front plate at the steering wheel tube all the way down and then bend it for the bottom then bend it up again to meet the top steel with the welds and you you core it so it fits around it and then you put the saddles on just like her son's shelf there's two pieces and you weld all around it's very simple and it really makes it very strong and you have to cast those and then
-you add in two triangular gussets and it's quarter inch plate with the same steel and you have to leave enough room for your swing arm mechanism and you put those plates on the inside and you put in lateral plate to hold up your motor and you put lateral plate on either and side of the inside in the motor compartment from rod to rod at the edge of each triangle shape to stiffen it and you can still put stuff in there one on the bottom of it would be nice and you can put your battery there
-that would more or less complete the main portion of the frame and front steering mechanism and you have to make sure everything is lined up true and plum and straight if you're off even a teeny bit a 30 second of an inch and it is a pain you have to get it as close as very well possible and you need to use a jig there's no way around it we've seen people with lines all over it and just doesn't work and
-do you want to put a couple cross members with a seat is so you have something to attach it to and attachments for the tank and attachments for the engine and other components but those are not hard to figure out you want to make sure your chain can go to the sprocket on the way he's drawing it it should be able to and it's going to be on the inside but then the sprocket does stick out so you have to be aware that and usually and they they bend the to make the shape of the you differently so it has to be on the inside if you leave enough room and it will look perfectly fine you just won't be stylish and the only other thing you can do is to bend the TS steel which is a tube which is not recommended we don't we don't recommend it and cutting it welding is not very pretty and wider the bottom has to be wider and you have to use 1x2 so it's only one inch wide that'll leave about we said 11 inches across so it's 10 inches on the inside minus 1/2 inch so 9 and 1/2 in and then two more inches so 7 and 1/2 in for your wheel and sprocket where your engine will be offset to the left those engines are about 8 inches wide so there's an engineering problem and there's only really one way to fix it is to make the swing arm shaped differently and it is a pain in the ass I'll tell you right now.
-we'll come up with the new shape in a moment
-the idea is to make it easy but really you don't want to offset the motor ideally it should be the same width as a frame to 11 inches out to out and he's going to try and do that and show you and that way the the top has to kind of match up to 11 inches wide on the seat at the back at least where you connected that's a not too wide and you guys all have big asses
-we can see how he just connected to two pieces to the square piece which is 2x2 to the 1x2 which houses the circular item and that's a good way to do it I actually like it I have seen it before and it saves a lot welding time and you put the bearings inside and you run the axle-type structure through it and you bolted up to your frame if you need some room for your bolts so the dimensions are going to have to be up to you you need some special washers in there too so it can move usually people have some sort of special cap that they go on either side and if you keep dust out sometimes they weld it but usually it's threaded and her outside and we do too you put a cap on both ends and that goes in between the framing gusset. And he's right that usually there's like a something attached to the gusset that it goes into and it's open on the bottom on both sides you have to slide it up into it like a in your closet one side of the closet has that plastic thing that's what it's like you need to extend the tube out of the square piece I need to fill the void doesn't take long with the welder
We're going to issue the updated swing arm in a moment
Thor Freya
Olympus
I like his design because it uses a solid bar and this bar you can bend and it doesn't do anything it's stronger than hell I also like the gusset idea to hold the swing arm it's very strong and sturdy and it's not going anywhere he was going to double up on it and I like that idea better some people will and you really should it strengthens supreme and it strengthens the swing arm attachment and shocks are fine it's normal you can find those anywhere but we suggest that you dry tested with no pressure and no spring and to make sure you have the right throw and it doesn't rip the shred with the crap out of this chalk

#REAL TUBE OVERDRIVE BK BUTLER TUBE WORKS DRIVER#
#REAL TUBE OVERDRIVE BK BUTLER TUBE WORKS FULL#
(I have and like a lot of solid state pedals, but never use them. To hear this, it's important to compare directly, because taken alone, solid state pedals obviously can sound very fine. Solid state pedals sound kind of boxy, grainy and narrow compared to tube pedals/amps which sound more clear and open. Real tube pedals all sound more natural than transistor pedals. I personally play a SIB CUDA, a KOCH Superlead (these are great), sometimes a Blackstar HT Dual (great rocker), I used a SD Twin Tube before (not as good, but still better than solid state pedals).Ī discontinued VOX straight6 is great for fat low gain or clean. They can sound as great as any great tube amp, if they are put in front of a tube power amp.
#REAL TUBE OVERDRIVE BK BUTLER TUBE WORKS FULL#
These work with real tubes at full voltage and are the same like a tube preamp section. When buying a tube pedal, it's important to know if it's one of these or a real tube driven pedal. Matter of taste, but not the same as a real tube amp. These have no true tube sound, because they don't run on full voltage and therefore sound different. Ibanez tube king, Butler tube driver, etc. pedals with an alibi or starved mode tubeĮx. There are three kinds of "tube sounding" pedals, and knowing what's inside makes it easier to choose.Įxample: Tube screamer, OCD, and a zillion more.ĭo not really sound like a tube amp, but are fine for what they are.Ģ. The Jester does, cause that is what it is. None really sound like a tube amp, honestly. I haven't used thousands but I have had a bunch of the TS and TS type and Boss pedals. It sounds like a tube amp just breaking up, when fed into my dead clean SFDR (playing low volume, so not pushing it). Actually, in my current band, I use it on the lowest gain setting on about 1/2. It isn't super gainy, not like an Angry Charlie (which I also have and don't use). It is basically the OD channel from a tube amp in a box. I also had a Butler, the blue one, years ago. Since a 7660S won't work in this PS layout This goes on the back burner for now. I runs the tube on low power, it is basically a regular OD except the tube kind of smooths it out. I still have an old Ibanez tube king, I like it for gainy stuff. I got this after I sold my MK IV, and it really didn't sound like "typical" boogie stuff to me, like the MK stuff. But as someone said, the high gain channel was real "metal" sounding. Just be careful with the Master Volume control, because these things have the ability to REALLY hit the front end of your amp hard! In fact, they can drive a speaker as about a 1-watt tube practice amp with GREAT TONE.I had the Mesa one. This one has it's original (and wonderful) General Electric 12AX7's and they still test as better than new in my Hickock TV7 tester. There has never been a finer, more powerful actual tube overdrive pedal made. Oh, and there's the VERY powerful bass, middle, and treble controls as well as a very fender-like "bright" switch.
#REAL TUBE OVERDRIVE BK BUTLER TUBE WORKS DRIVER#
for a total of FOUR tube gain stages in the Tube Driver it's only one! Plus, these operate at twice the voltage of the original Tube Drivers. These are often refereed to as the predecessor to the "Tube Driver", but they are really VERY different pedals. This model is also the rarest, as it was only produces for a few months in 1981 before loosing the "Boogee" moniker. This one is from 1981, I personally feel this is the BEST model because it's still labeled "Boogee", and it's in the VERY Mesa-Boogie looking black-n-White color scheme. These things are legendary! There is lotsa chatter about these among serious players, but most folks have never even SEEN one in real life.īK Butler made only a few of these by hand from 1980-1981, then Randall Smith (Mesa-Boogie) asked him to use another name and in 1982-84 he made a few more labeled "Audio Matrix". I recently sold my stupidly rare Mini Boogee Pedal, but I made a little demo video before shipping her out. Hi gang! So this will be, for the most part a video blog. So this ask is mostly prompted by my random binge of your dragon age tag. But what I always thought was interesting about Anders and Fenris specifically is that unlike a lot of the companion clashes in Dragon Age games where I thought the conflict was poorly articulated, I remember that something about the random dialogue both of them said at various points in the game made me want to lock both of them in a room together and force them to actually argue out there pointsinmoredetailwhenI1stplayed
god I know. their dynamic is just...there's so much there, and so much Valid Points honestly on both sides (I said what I said) and so much anger and pain and trauma...I feel like the thing about the Anders and Fenris conflict in Dragon Age 2 is that it really is one of those things that feels born out of people with conflicting traumas who don't really recognize that's what's going on, and the more they push up against each other's bruises the less inclined either of them is to try to understand where the other person is coming from.
I'm just...obsessed with the way that for Fenris and Anders both of them are, essentially, seeing the other as an abuse apologist for the abuse that they themselves suffered. Fenris perceives Anders as defending the mages who directly ran the system that enslaved and tormented him; Anders perceives Fenris as defending the abuses of the Chantry and the Templars outside of Tevinter.
on this playthrough that I'm on in particular...I think one of the interesting things was spending a lot more time with Fenris and Bethany in the same party, because the way Fenris talks with her about mage rights is so very different from the way he talks to Anders.
compare:
Anders: You ever going to stop harping on the mages here? Fenris: No. Anders: They aren't what you saw in Tevinter. Fenris: The moment they are free, mages will make themselves magisters. Anders: They're slaves! You should want to help them. Fenris: I don't.
with
Fenris: You know, you cannot wish the Templars away. Bethany: I can try. Fenris: Is the Circle here truly so terrible an option? Bethany: Do you really have to ask that? Fenris: You would be kept safe from others as well as yourself, and they would be kept safe from you. Bethany: I... didn't ask for this. Fenris: Nobody asks for their fate.
and it's true that there's an element of Bethany being a "good mage" - but she is still a mage, and an apostate, but the tenor of their conversations is still much more reasonable - and I think part of that is about the way that Bethany's rhetoric isn't grating against that aspect of Fenris's experience.
and I find that deeply compelling about Anders and Fenris's relationship! that they are talking pretty much directly against each other, and that comes directly from the ways in which they've both suffered institutional abuse.
anyway this has all been long and rambling and the point is mostly "I love this character dynamic and the fact that everyone involved is suffering from severe ptsd and a history of dehumanization and the ways in which they dehumanize each other in response." love that.

What is Super Silvia?
There is a wide variety of races contested using commercially available cars. Let's introduce the difference here.
Needless to say, the main act of Super Silvia is the N2 version. It is in a class comparable to the former TS, and major modifications are permitted as long as the basic shape, such as the suspension, remains unchanged. You can freely attach over fenders and aero parts to create a stylish exterior. Of course, equipped with slick tires.
You can also wear it. The engine that can be fully tuned is not necessary since the Silvia is originally a 2-liter engine, but the N2 regulations allow for the bore of the engine originally installed in the car to be increased within a certain range. However, changing the transmission or using a reverse head is not permitted.

You can be sure you are getting a high-quality, one-of-a-kind toy when you purchase this wood toy car.
Another great thing about this toy is that it is made from sustainable materials. The wood used to make the car is sourced from responsibly managed forests, which means it is renewable and eco-friendly.
Overall, the wood toy car from Odin's Toy Factory is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a high-quality, eco-friendly, handmade toy. It is perfect for children who love cars and trucks, and it is also an excellent choice for parents who want to give their children safe and sustainable toys. The wood toy car is worth considering if you are looking for a classic and timeless toy that will last for generations.

@andhumanslovedstories replied to your post “It looks like the new wave of followers has figured out I don’t fuck...”
ANDERS/FENRIS IS BAFFLING, like yeah there's potentially an interesting romance you could write about an escaped mage from a society that oppresses mages and a person who was enslaved by mages in a society where mages run the show but. Oh boy. Like of like Everything about their relationship, Anders is chill with selling Fenris back into slavery. Anders and Fenris are not the vehicle for that story.
(this is so old I just remembered I didn’t reply to it, sorry)
God, everything about this relationship skeeves me out, especially Anders and all of his fucking bullshit. He is the whitest boy of the white boy mages. I mean, he writes a manifesto ffs! And yet, is somehow unwilling to acknowledge his views have been shaped by the Chantry as much as his oppressors in the Circle have! (I’m sure there’s at least a couple rants on Fuck Yeah Merrill about this.)
And that scene where Fenris gets sold back to Danarius? I’d never seen it when I played the game, and it is just monstrous on every level. As much as I have my issues with Anders, his being OK with Fenris going back to his abuser seemed wildly ooc to me, to the point where I’m willing to ignore it as some fucked-up Doylist lack of narrative QA.
THAT SAID, the dynamics involved in that relationship squick me out so bad. You would have to do so much work (like 20-30K minimum) to convince me this is something that could be approached equitably from both sides.
(Same with Dorian/Fenris, which is a whole different kind of bone-curdling horror that just made me shriek Y’ALL NEED ANDRASTE when I first saw it on the DAI kinkmeme.)
