Which one do you like? We normally use @lovemysilk soy milk as our dairy milk alternative. We got a little excited @wholefoods the other day and picked up 3 new dairy-free milks. This is Christine. Christine is a veteran who used to be an aircraft mechanic in the military. When Christine told me what she did, the picture that came to mind was Rosie the Riveter (the woman in the WWII poster who says "We Can Do It!") Christine is also an animal rights supporter. We are honored to have Christine carry a Doshi product. At the end of the Asheville Veganfest, a man drove his car onto the sidewalk and knocked off a fire hydrant not to far from our booth. Surprisingly, no fountain of water. Christine was one of the first to the scene and helped get the man's car turned off. The people we meet along our journey are beautiful and incredible - each in unique ways. Despite their circumstances they struggle and fight towards a better future. Real vegan leather v. fake vegan leather: . If your product is made out of plain PU, it's not really vegan leather. . We often go to vegan festivals and have customers show us their old vegan products which have material that is chafing and cracking. That's because a lot of companies have simply started sticking vegan leather labels on cheap material (PU). It's dishonest. Simple PU has been around for decades and was always used as a cheap alternative to leather. The predominant part of the material that we use is a coagulated microfiber which mimics the feel and performance characteristics of leather. It lasts long, looks good, and is durable - often more durable than leather.
