The bad kids know eachother and like love the people they’ve gotten to know. They have allowed themselves to be changed by one another, to become better for eachother.

The ratgrinders will unprompted find ways to slight eachother, get some sort of advantage over their party members.

The Bad Kids don’t have to ask eachother to be caring. They would lower themselves so they don’t block the others from view.

Mechanically, how was he dead dead tho? I mean narratively very cool. But like did he have no hit points? How much sneak attack damage did she fucking do? Is this a throwback to how Maryanne destroyed at Owlbear tryouts?

I still don’t understand why after being made Kipperlily wouldn’t just take her shot at Gavin. Like I cannot figure out how killing Buddy would have advantaged her more than Gavin. Like if she kills Gavin, sure the evidence of a crossbow bolt remains but like the Bad Kids automatically get a C even if they otherwise succeed. If Buddy dies and stays dead the Ratgrinders automatically go pass/fail and it’s possible that the bad kids manage to keep Gavin up through the whole fight and succeed. I guess she was hoping one of them would go down and not be able to be revivified? But like based on all the talk about Lucy in the preview and in previous episodes it’s possible to bring someone back post-revivification period with very powerful magic. What is her fucking deal

In addition to what you got right tonight you are the only person I have seen who took what Gilear said to mean that Sandra-Lynn had feelings for both sides of the married couple and I believe this extremely strongly in my bones will be proven right

I just assumed that’s what he meant lmao. I think because it later turned out Sandra Lynn was poly I must have mushed the two together! But you know what? I was already right on one count so why not another!

It just feels more in line with Sandra Lynn to have been into both Bobby and his wife, and I think if Bobby and his wife were in on the mistreatment together that would go a long way towards how fucked up emotionally Sandra Lynn is and how unhealthy she was with being poly.

Also since Bobby and the Church of Sol/Helio are very clearly modeled on Christian fundamentalism/evangelism there’s a good shot that Bobby’s wife was in on the mistreatment because women in those spaces tend to grab what power they have and use it viciously.
