It really is wild that Devin is so fanatical in his hatred of the undead that he would literally steal from the body of Marika’s first born son.

Although, I think that’s the point.

Devin and Darian hate the those-who-live-in-death so much they desecrate the body of Godwyn the Golden, something that Marika herself would condemn as blasphemy.

Also, if Devin had just left Godwyn’s corpse alone, his brother would not have died. Fia only killed Darian to take back what was stolen.

It’s all very tragic.

First AU we’re gonna dive into! The Happy Family AU! On the main blog, I posted some Father’s Day sketches for funsies, and as a side follow-up, I did one of Ferdinand’s family, because... slight spoilers - this happy little image doesn’t happen in the main canon. I have realized recently just much I have unfortunately robbed my boys, at least in the main story, but hey, AUs exist, so we can explore the happy here c:

In this happy little AU, Ferdinand and Sigfried meet up for the kids to have playdates. And to play chess at the park. Ferdinand is still not very good at it and it doesn’t help that he seems to be so bad that he keeps losing to a 7-year-old. Granted I’ve said she’s probably a super genius and Ferdinand’s probably just not taking it as seriously as he should. I think he maybe also thought he had a chance considering she is also just a 7-year-old.

I keep posting things with these kids, but having formally introduced them yet! They do have names. Fia and Farren you might recognize from the Chameleon Charm promo comic I did a while back but I never mentioned what their names were. Sigfried’s daughter is named Aisling, because I have a sick sense of irony or whatever, naming her something that means “dream” or “vision” considering she doesn’t... exist in the Main Canon. I guess for this image Farren’s around 9? whereas Aisling is around 7 and Fia’s around 6. They get along pretty well, though Fia can be a little troublemaker at times and tends to rope Aisling into her shenanigans. Farren tries to be the responsible one, but is also a child, so doesn’t do the best job at it, but that’s okay. This says Aisling is “probably” a super genius prodigy child, but at this point that probably could be taken out, lol. However, she’s not some pretentious genius kid and is pretty well mannered and down to earth.
