I’d love commentary on “Whatever may come, your heart I will choose.” !!!! 💕💕

I actually wrote this very randomly. I’ve been doing this thing recently where if I get an idea, I go with it and just post it. It’s been easier for me because my head has been so full and I’ve been wanting to write but write things unplanned. And so this is how this fic came to be.

I liked the idea, as much as it does also pain me, of Louis and Lestat separating. Eternity is such a long time and them being apart every so often for different amounts of time wouldn’t be as surprising. They’ve done it in the past, and I believe they would do it in the future. It doesn’t mean they don’t love one another most of all, but that they need space sometimes be it two years or ten.

For that specific time period, I chose two years and Louis went full no contact. Mainly I decided because he wanted to see if he could and if he could go on that way. He did. He did but he also couldn’t resist the call back to Lestat and that’s how the fic begins.

Louis loves Lestat and Lestat loves Louis, and Lestat means it when he says he wants him forever and him alone. Because by the end of it Lestat doesn’t want to mess around anymore. Because they’ve done this for over two centuries (in that fic) and he wants Louis to stay. He wants Louis to share his blood and drink his as well. He wants their connection back. He wants it and Louis does too and hearing it all said really cements it for Louis.

Once they do share the blood again, and Louis sees Lestat’s memories from all the way back when Louis was human, that’s it. All that time, from the very beginning, it’s been Louis, will always be, and I think that’s beautiful.

I think i wrote that fic in like less than two hours.
