Pokémon teams for group of oc’s, should be noted they are completely original with no fandom ties, I just made these for fun so not extremely thought out lol

-aloe has a shiny togetic though it’s honestly hard to tell, this is to poke fun at his personality a bit, fidough for his love of cooking/baking, pikachu referencing his personality, and his trusty lanturn the same reason. Combee is referencing how he works hard at work, and has a bit of sass in him. Just a bit though.

-Peri’s team is meant to be a fighting team, I just thought both sylveons would fit her and having a duo of them would be neat, and tinkaton is the closest resemblance to her personality

-minun is to match his sister, roserade and oricorio to match his personality (and also oric can learn attract fitting for a minor flirt like crevan), he’d get the chandelure during a trip to the hospital as a lampent when he was little it being a shiny is to connect to aloe.

-most of aya’s pokemon was gifted to her by crevan i imagine all except for plusle and mareep, jigglypuff helps her get to sleep due to her having so much energy, most of her poke’s are electric types to reflect her personality with two fairies to not make it fully electric and reflect her girly side when she’s not having the zoomies lol

-krystals team is supposed to have one poke to reference mostly everyone else but I mostly had her in mind when picking them. Both ribombee and pawmi are to connect her with aloe, roselia to match with crevan and polteageist was I imagine gifted to her from him, alcremie is both to reference aya and krystal’s own last name thus the flavor choice.

I love pokemon.

One of the first fandoms I was ever in. I've played some of the games (gen 4, 6, 7, 8) and I've watched some of the anime (it's huge alright, I ain't watching all of it). Also I collect cards (I don't know how to play the game tho).

My favorite types have to be dragon, fairy, psychic, fire and electric (I'm indecisive like that)

I found an old save file for explorers of time. Apparently I got stuck at temple tower. So for the last several years these two have been in a crumbling tower with no items and pokemon that were much stronger than them. I'm so sorry you two😭

Akagi Shimaboshi was a down on his luck salaryman working for a less than savory company, when all of a sudden he was fired. At first, he was extremely depressed, unsure of how to proceed and started to go down a rather dark train of thought…when his childhood friend planted into his head to become a trainer.

Now he’s on a journey through Paldea, far away from Sinnoh to start fresh and spend the next year as a trainer before job hunting again.

Meanwhile back in Sinnoh…

Looks like someone got Isekai’d to the world of pokemon and the big bad suddenly is gone.

got into playing a platinum randomizer which i initially thought to be a soulsilver randomizer. here are some things (the kingdra is my starter)

Completed Black again to set up a main file to use with Black 2. Still a big fan of this game. And with it, another team gets added to my list list of mons. The amount of teams I've kept from Unova now is really funny.

From front to back we have Banshee (Chandelure), Jane (Sawsbuck), Ozzy (Samurott), Laurie (Gothitelle), Brawl (Stoutland) and Nuke (Victini).

That Chandelure was a random shiny btw. I wasn't even planning to use Litwick, I was gonna use Golurk this time around but I guess my shiny luck had other plans there. Beautiful shiny, though it does mean I've had to change plans for my Badge Quest in Black 2.

I gotta say, I never realised how much of a level spike BW's postgame has. I think it's interesting cause with the levels the new wild pokemon can be found at, I think they did that to incentivise you to use a lot of the old pokemon now available to you. I didn't do that myself but I think it's an interesting design decision.

I also gotta say, for as mad as it sounds for them to give you a mythical as early as the third gym, Victini was surprisingly underwhelming. Sure it has excellent stats for when you get it but it's sorely held back by it's learnset. It gets literally no good psychic moves til Level 49, which is literally the end of the main game. No TMs either, Psychic and Psyshock are both postgame. While it fares better with fire moves you'll pretty much only have Flame Charge til Gym 6 where you get Searing Shot by move reminder, which is a fantastic move but it doesn't have much else going for it. It's alright but in a gen with Darmanitan and Chandelure you probably have better options for fire types. And Psychic? Pretty much anything available is a better option there. Main game or otherwise.

Shoutout to the real goat of the team though, freaking Sawsbuck of all things. It's surprisingly fast, Horn Leech is a great physical alternative to Giga Drain exclusive to it in this game and it was a downright incredible sweeper at the end when it got access to Swords Dance. Seriously I swept most of Shauntal, and all of Grimsley and even Cynthia's teams. Sick pokemon.
