He's been an urban legend in this city since she can remember, Carter being the first to cross his path and then Fusco too. They didn’t have much time either as she had barricaded herself in the last room near the stairs of the abandoned two story motel — murder central. The men who were chasing her could be heard coming down the hallway, kicking in doors and tossing rooms on either side of the hallway.

" — John, they're coming too fast." They were at least two rooms down the hall from where she was, hiding in a corner of the room after putting all the furniture in front of the door. Haphazardly no less but he had come up the fire escape to get her, she gave a slight yelp when he pulled her through the window and watched as he quietly closed it behind her.

" – I've got you covered. Shaw." Within seconds the sound of automatic gunfire erupted in the darkness from somewhere in the hallway – from the further end. "Finch, start the car." Mary saw the tail lights at the end of the street, feeling him nudge her to hurry down the fire escape. "I'm right behind you Detective."

She didn't even hesitate to run right for the waiting town car, Finch was seated behind the wheel — glancing back at her through the mirror once she climbed into the backseat. Shaw was next — taking the seat beside her and naturally John got in the passenger's side.

"Better buckle up, Detective — it's the law." Shaw said in a light teasing tone before Finch killed the headlights and drove away as fast as possible without being noticed by Mary's pursuers !

Her panic began to smoulder, but the dread still burned close to her heart. When her breaths levelled out, Madeline looked around the room, the silhouettes of the clocks gathering around her like sympathetic strangers, all ticking back and forth to one another in a language she couldn't understand. Rising up, she took the candle and held it to the face of the tall clock to her right. Its hands glistened a thousand shades of gold, and a low heartbeat sounded within its chest.

Green

“We both are alone out here. Whether beast or man, I want you to show yourself to me. Please. I want to know you.” Outside, the moon came out from beneath the clouds, and a single ribbon of light fluttered through a window above, illuminating a pair of eyes right in front of her own. He had been standing in front of her the whole time. Instead of recoiling in terror, Madeline smiled. The eyes across from hers had the same green wisdom as the wolf’s eyes, framed with long lashes and pale eyelids. They held her own gaze as they had done before, then wandered down to the book in her hand. He spoke in a voice just above a whisper: “Can you read to me?”

Great

Athena hushed him and spoke to him like the child she remembered him as. “Let's get you inside. There's no use standing here in the cold, is there?” She led Enoch into the front room and brought him to the couch to rest, draping a blanket over his shoulders. Though his head was hung, his eyes scanned the room as he remembered all the years he had spent in it. The wide mantelpiece where the family had told ghost stories on Midwinter night, the cameo portraits hung on the wall, the great Persian rug which spanned the room. But then he closed his eyes and shut the memories out. He couldn’t bear to think of the past when the present hurt enough already. “Well…what a surprise.” Athena said, nestling on the couch opposite. “I am glad to see you again- so so glad."

Glass

Soon, the sky opened and poured out the first of November’s rain, dotting the marble headstones with dark wet spots. Madeline packed her materials into the wooden box as Enoch led her into a mausoleum behind the yew, pulling up his hood again. The names on the marble vaults had long since faded, and the colours of the small stained-glass window were dulled by the rain. Outside, the drops fell in diagonal chrome shafts, drumming the roof, and dissolving the world in its haze. Both friends smiled wide, eyes soft, as they sat beneath the low ceiling, waiting for the rain to pass.

Then slowly, he turned his head, and over his shoulder was a figure raised above the rest, sat up and watching him with eyes reflecting the moonlight. Enoch was sure his legs would give from under him. But as his vision cleared, he made out the auburn curls of the chorister. He stood, unsure what to do as his face burned with panic. But very slowly, very gently, Saxifraga raised a single finger to his lips, bringing a rush of relief to Enoch’s mind. I won't tell. He nodded in return. And turning back, he made the final few steps then passed the treeline, before bolting into the dark, leaving the cruel hounds sleeping behind him.

Finished the entire Poetry Gala event on my alt and day two on my main. I'll post my thoughts quickly now, since I got the general idea.

Honestly, it's not a terrible event, possibly because it has Mond, and we all know how I am about that. I found it kinda of cute that we got follow up on the Springvale fairy, Callirhoe had a cute design, and Diona has really grown on me. And of course, my girl Noelle was here.

However, this event had two main issues, imo.

First, it feels like they needed something to kill time (notably, this event is halfway through the patch and quite simplistic for a flagship event), so they took two short ideas they had and mashed them together on top of a gimmick (poetry).

The problem is that these two ideas don't really have any connection and there is no storyline past these two concepts themselves. So you get the Lantern Rite follow up (Hu Tao and Venti, Xiao, and Chongyun) that dominates the first two days but has no resolution in the quests themselves, and then you get the spring fairy follow up (Diona, Callirhoe and Finch) which has too little buildup despite being promoted to the main focus and the finale in the last day. There's also just nothing in terms of tension or plot in between just sticking these characters here, especially since Callirhoe's presence is so weak in itself.

For a gacha game, it's pretty much expected that an event will have a bunch of cameos you won't care about, so it's not necessarily an issue that I don't personally care for the Liyue focus at the start. But because of the specific way they combined these two unrelated halves, neither feels satisfying. Xiao gets dropped, Callirhoe has no buildup or weight. Both suffer from the split focus.

(I will note that the small bits of comparison between supernatural beings from different nations, Lieyu adepti and Fontaine lochfolk, as well as Chongyun's constitution and Diona's blessing, were cute bits. And we did finally see yang Chongyun for a very brief moment. But these were all really small, so they don't influence the overall impression.)

Second major issue is the poetry stuff. It's just a REALLY awful idea. I'm not sure what they were thinking when they know perfectly well that this is a global game with a major international audience. I can't comment on whether the poetry they wrong was any good because I have no way to know. But translating poetry? On a live service game with constant releases?

This was never going to fly, and yet they still did it. Stupidity or hubris, take your pick.

Overall, could be worse, but I wish we'd gotten something more fleshed out for the spring fairy (because I am a Mond lover) and also the poetry junk was dead weight that took like an extra hour minimum without any actual gain. 4/10 or so.

A little summary of what you’re getting into, at least with season 1 winky face (this is the summary i wrote for when i eventually post this on ao3 or smth): After an accident that leaves Danny with ghostly abilities (because no, there’s no way he’s dead), said creatures seem to be coming out of the woodwork, sometimes quite literally. The 15 year old High School Freshman takes it upon himself to keep the town safe since his accident is the reason they’re getting through. Oh, and he keeps breaking the lights. That’s probably not important.

OR; A rewrite of Danny Phantom as a fruity No One Knows AU and I’m changing his powers to electricity based. Homie was electrocuted it makes more sense imo

Basic info you might want: 

The AU itself: This is a no one knows au!!!! Sam and Tucker do not know. While they heard about the accident, in classic nok aus fashion, Danny is refusing to give them details and is pushing them away. In a classic Finch fashion, I made the death of a ghost correspond to their abilities. As such, Danny has electricity-based powers. 

Genre: Superhero, obv, thats what DP is, a little comedy, but mostly HORROR ELEMENTS!!! I love horror. Psychological? Probably. Body? Definitely.

The ghosts: While some ghosts will not make an appearance (most likely at least. Look man i'm still working on it), your favs are going to be completely revamped! Every ghost that will show up I hope to flesh out well :) except maybe one-time villains/cameos. I have created a whole system of ghost typing ranging from Will-o-the-wisps and Shades to Liminals (who are often called, ahem, Gravewalkers) and Lords/Ancients. Each ghost typing has their own abilities and whatnot (think like the ghosts in Phasmophobia). And since some of my typings would BUTCHER a few characters including Danny, ghost types can overlap :D For example, in this au Danny is a liminal banshee, and by the end of the series he’ll be a liminal banshee and [REDACTED]! This mostly applies to higher level ghosts since those are more titular than anything, but it will also apply to a few of the main cast of full ghosts.

The characters: The characters you know and love are back, but a few with a bit more substance. Team Phantom is overall pretty similar, just adjusted to fit headcanons I’ve inserted into the au. Vlad is not an incel anymore and now is taking Daddy Issues to the extreme! This definitely won’t have any negative consequences for Phantom. Oh, hes also like, 5x more manipulative. Danielle is back and BETTER. While I quite liked her in canon, now she makes more sense. Instead of going by “Dani,” she decided to be less confusing and pick a cooler name (her words) and goes by “Elle!” Pronounced like the letter L shes built different (its not because I keep reading “Ellie” wrong or anything). She is also physically the same age as Danny. She also has a dual ghost type, but you can wait for that I’ll do like a proper character intro or smth.

Season 1 (the only season i’m giving you a peak of rn): Season 1 is mostly a learning period for Danny. Unlike canon where the origin story is left to the intro until a retcon in season 2, the Accident is told through flashbacks, Daredevil style. Overall, this season will be the slowest, as it’s more for building the world, establishing characters and motives, and other stuff to make the next seasons flow as well as possible. Think like the Owl House where season 1 has more filler that progressively gets fewer and further between as it continues. This season ends with what very well might be a rewrite of one of everyone’s favourite episodes from canon. You can speculate what one that is.

The end of Legacies has come, and to put it simply, I was not impressed. 

To recap what did we get. The more important question, what did we get that we did not expect. 

Half hearted mentions and explanations about Josie, check. With the added bonus of Hope mailing the weapon that can kill her? I feel the writers just put that in so if the show ever got renewed, or another spin off, or literally anything else, they can play ‘the super powerful weapon is missing and in the hands of bad guys’ card. Who the hell ships an all powerful red oak, god/Tribrid killing weapon in the mail? Bloody fucking take a day trip and deliver it in person, at least one Mikaelson owns a private jet she could borrow. 

All the side ships and characters getting quickly endgame and happily ever after, including Finch becoming the alpha, Jed and Ben being happy after what ten episodes? And Cleo and Kaleb throwing in some possible spin off juice with happiness and a not fleshed out backstory, because there was no time. All of the above, check. 

Alaric finally leaving the school after four seasons of pad parenting crap, check. With the added, stick me with continuity issues, of Hope and Alaric being super father daughtery. Seriously? I still don't understand what writer thought Alaric could be a father figure to Klaus’s daughter?

Mizzie finally getting together and getting a proper kiss, hell bloody yes check! With the added bonus, of an unexpected interruption curtesy of Caroline Forbes finally appearing, that is technically unexpected, expect I guessed it the second Mizzie’s lips touched. 

And finally, a Klaus ‘cameo’ that is so painfully awkward and shoehorned in I would have rather had a Steroline or Delena reference, check. 

Congrats Legacies, you ended as you began, predictable, painful, continuity challenged, and filled with too many characters to ever have a satisfying 42 minutes ending for. 

The only bright spot in the tunnel of darkness, Caroline Forbes is the last vampire standing, now running the Salvatore school, with her secret Klaroline love child daughter, Lizzie, the Heretic; Lizzie’s darling sweet vampire, Klaroline parallel, best friend to lovers, boyfriend, MG; and Caroline’s darling honorary step daughter, Hope Andrea Mikaelson, the one and only Tribrid. 

Got give a round of applause Legacies, You may have destroyed Klaus Mikaelson’s character to the point of retconning, but at least you finally woke up and gave Caroline Forbes the ending she deserved after years of trauma, abuse, and never being the one. 

(Honorable mention to Lizzie, MG, and Hope who all got the happy ending they deserved as, at least in my headcannon, Caroline’s council of bad asses who will always protect her and each other.)

One day I’ll get yall some coherent NCIS au going.

Commander Fox was, well, a little overdue this time. It’d been a fast few months that’d gone by since the last time he came by NCIS. Someone mentioned they caught two sergeants dragging someone inside from their hoverpad. They must have their hands full again..

It didn’t stop his feet from dragging him away from the sliding door he’d nearly keyed open; away from his office, waving an “I’ll be back” and disappearing into the hall. Fox needed a break, that’s what everyone kept telling him. And it was his impeccable timing that pulled him to the front door of NCIS, just as someone opened it from the inside.

“Hey, Miz.” he breathed.

“Hey,” was the equally weary reply - but with a tinge of welcome surprise. “Were you coming over? What can I do for you?”

The Commander just .. shrugged. He came to visit, it seemed. Miz smiled and stepped to the side, hand ushering him in. “Are the Twins back in the house? One of my lieutenants said they saw them pulling in fresh meat.”

There was a scream, albeit faint. It reverberated from the air ducts. Miz hardly turned an eye to it. “Oh, yeah. One of our prime suspects was a tad slippery, so the Twins went out and tried their hand.. they were successful, as you can see.” And another scream, this one sounded like it was from a clone.

Fox tried not to grimace. “I’d almost hate to see what goes on..” The grimace he couldn’t hold back only got worse when Miz flashed a half smile. “What? What’s the smile for..? Who- please tell me Dini’la isn’t your interrogator around here!”

Yes, Clone Sergeant Dini’la. One of the rougher of Miz’s bunch, the most infamous of his aptly-named Anarchy batch. Dini’la does not care for safety if it gets in the way of his “hunt”; he tends to tunnelvision in the means of getting to the suspect that’s been hurting his family. He’s not known for mercy, either. Quite the opposite.

His higher batchmate Jare’la - while just as obstitute on what to do with a bad person - can usually be found holding him with a hand on his shoulder. Mm, Chaos and Foolishly Reckless. They earned their names tenfold and if it wasn’t for the fact that they somehow came out alive no matter what ..

Miz was mysteriously tight-lipped on where he found them, anyway.

Fox shook his head back to the present. With a snort - Miz lifted his hands in surrender. “Even worse, it’s actually Finch that supervises and organizes interrogations. Dini’la is just his protégé when he’s got nothing better to chew on..” as the younger’s voice trailed away, smile tugging at the corner of his mouth.

Hn.

Yeah, that was even worse. Morbid curiosity got the better of him though; the image of their youngest batchmate as the lead interrogator was increasingly difficult to fathom, even if he knew where he’d gotten any of his tactics from. But the Lieutenant just nodded his head to the side room housing the stairs, something about heading down to the basement level. There were jail cells on the level higher but the basement .. housed the morgue. Sergeant Serval’s domain. Serval.. that guy.

Somehow.. Fox nearly asked why! But he wasn’t quick enough to stop himself. The answer? “Well.. this one’s been.. very difficult.” Parsed words. “But obviously does face a lot of guilt even if she tries to blow it off.” Miz was doing his best to explain within the parameters of not giving his batchmate an aneurysm on their differences in how to deal with natborns in trouble with technical law. “So Dini’la had the idea to bring her down to see her handiwork; she had a tendency to flee the scene early, y’know?”

The illustrious Coruscant Guard. Fearless, riot-busters and shocktroopers, deployed to depths untouched by “natural” light for hundreds of thousands of years. As their top boss, their figurehead, Fox has seen and heard it all. Yet the morgue here in his neighbor’s building never ceased to give him anything less than the severest of fucking willikers.

Lo and behold — the pinpad pinged green and the doors slid open. One quick glance showed that Serval had taken his leave to the small office adjoined to his morgue and left Dini’la to his own devices, while the suspect was laying on the autopsy table with her hands very uncomfortably cuffed under the small of her back.

There was a timepiece ticking somewhere, and a few words were exchanged between greetings for the two COs. Dini’la seemed excited to have Miz pop in, moving away from the wall to throw himself into waiting arms in a hug that would engulf him. Serval popped his head out of the office momentarily, flashing a smile and then disappearing again. He could see them through his little window, though.

The suspect, apparently disgusted at the show of people-having-it-better-than-the-murderer, took her chances of opening her mouth and saying something. Fox thinks the timepiece broke, because it was silent now.

He couldn’t quite catch what she said. Fox hoped he didn’t understand that pass thrown at Dini’la, who was firmly wrapped in Miz’s arms one second and had then blinked his way to the table. He loomed over her. No more smiles, no more giggles and asking how the fresh air felt.

Fox sorely wishes he didn’t hear what was next.

“Funny,” the Sergeant chirped in a sickeningly upbeat tone, “but not funny ha ha. Funny..”

Now his voice dropped, and he got very close to her ear. His hands white-knuckled the durasteel table but did not touch the natborn.

“Funny, if you ever do that again, I will peel you like a fucking Aurilian fruit. Fucker.”

Serval, once again in the doorway, only sipped at his caf as he nodded along sagely.

Fox visibly paled.

Miz blinked, then shrugged.

Fox looked back at Miz. Clearly mortified.

“What, do you have any better suggestions?” Miz chimed. Now Fox looked beyond exasperated, gesturing between the suspect that had started to shake worse than a rusted speederbike in the free lanes and Dini’la who was now snarling something else under his breath.

Did he have any better suggestions? “No, but - you can’t just - Miz!”

Very First Happy Heroes Art Dump (it’s quite big)

I figured it’s finally time to show the doodles I’ve done over the years that I’ve kept to myself/the Happy Heroes Discord (not necessarily in chronological order).

Ka Pei going out for groceries, and I guess I wasn’t too used to drawing Happy S at the time or something for some reason.

Not gonna lie, I got White Pearl-vibes from Love S when she first debuted...

Not even they are immune to AMONGUS.

This one requires, well, a lot more context: On the Happy Heroes Discord, I made a headcanon stating that, “Adelian shades (the kind that can be detached from the body) can stick to any Adelian, even if it doesn't belong to the [wearer], but ONLY Adelians (in other words, they can be used to identify peeps who are and aren't Adelians). For example, if Kalo were to give a pair of shades to, let's say Archie, it would stay on his face, but if he gave them to Careful S, they would fall off (he has to hold them in place).” Then @themunflower​ added on, “Shade swiping is probably a common prank among Adelian kids...One kid has a bunch of shades layered on his face like a sandwich.” I found it too funny not to make a doodle of.

Invisible bow an arrows, or a thumbs up?

These four characters have been the only characters to actually sing, like, properly, in the whole series/have the most ties to music. And because there were four of them, they could form...a barbershop quartet!

Fixed her. Also, it appears that the quartet has expanded.

Barbershop quartet actually managed to last, like, several months, which is really impressive! However, they did get erased eventually, and I opted to draw them again but color-coded and smaller.

My first time drawing Russel and Stu! However, I drew it in such a way that, if I wanted everyone to be proportional, Stu had to be cut-off at the top TvT. Meanwhile, Ka Pei and Bella continue to feud in the background.

I mean, how else was she supposed to come back?

Similar to barbershop quartet, I noticed something all four of these dudes have:  someone they cared about and, in the climax, had an emotional beat with them; Finch had Lisa, Starshadow had Moondance, Dark Demon had Happy S, and Luthor had Doctor H. Thus, I put them in a club thing where they sort of just hang out, and they recently invited Luthor. I’d imagine Huo Ha Ha sometimes joins them for some afternoon tea. YES I KNOW THE CHAIRS ARE ABSOLUTELY AWFUL-

It probably would be a spoiler LOL but hartley and rhino would be such a good pair! Now I just need for Disney to make it happen, give the people what they want!

I know there tends to not be many spin off series (off the top of my head I can only think of ones off of Disney XD and suite life) but what are some spin off shows you’d like to see? Is there a particular way you would do them? Or better yet is there a spin off you would re-do?

i believe ron and john pitched a spinoff about BOOMS which i kinda figured l&m cali style was leading up to given the introduction of a lot of new, younger characters. would i be bummed that thered be no dove beyond possibly a cameo? sure, but would i still watch it and be excited about it? absolutely. i guess it would just take place after what wouldve been the summer of rooney, when parker is back from the biodome. we could see his relationship with val develop. joey wouldve graduated but maybe hed go to college in california? ive seen him as more of a homebody before but for the sake of the show, i might want him to be there lol. maybe jillow could resume, josh would be there... the BOOMS kids were fun (finch was my fav) so i feel like it could work. they could continue the reality show format from l&m. now that we KNOW thats what it is, it could be a new reality show that airs in luxembourg and the fact that its a reality show could be played with in the show itself, rather than not mentioned at all like in l&m (until the finale, that is).

ive thought before that a dog with a blog animated series would be fun! poor mick and daphne would be out of a job lol but i think it could be a cute concept. you could get away with a lot more physical humor/action/etc with the dogs since you can animate them.

ive said this before in the discord that ravens home took till season 5 to finally get the concept right imo. i do enjoy the first four seasons but i have a good deal of problems with them, namely that they didnt pull enough from the original show, which s5 is a lot better at doing, plus they felt repetitive. s5 is getting better at being a mix of episodic and serialized, so i have hope for s6. so basically, if i were to re-do it, i would've started at s5 lol, but kept the good stuff from seasons 1-4, like the original cast (nia bugged me sometimes, tho)

gmw im sure thered be things id do differently but its been too long since ive watched either show to say specifically. tho i think we can all agree that we couldve done without the triangle/maya "turning into riley" lol (also rilaya endgame)

Legacies Hits Netflix Top 10!

Holy shit, fellow fans!

It's happened! Legacies is #5 on Netflix's Top Ten list of most watched shows! You have officially made the folks at The CW go 😲! Keep up the good work.

The news that might disappoint some of you is that if we did get Legacies back; it would likely not include Hope Mikaelson, as Danielle Rose Russel has already stated that she would like to move on. However, she is open to a cameo appearance.

However, there are many characters from Legacies that we would like to see more of. And characters from the TVDverse who we would like to see again.

Who wants to see a season with Caroline as headmistress?

See Kaleb's backstory and what the future holds for him and Cleo?

How will Finch handle being alpha and will Jed come back? We love their BFF ship!

What about Pedro's and Wade's futures? We barely saw them in the finale.

And Stefanie Salvatore was supposed to join the school in S5. Personally, I would love to see what the daughter of Damon Salvatore would stir up.

Last, but not least: Landon Kirby is my favorite character, I want them to figure why they thought it was super important to basically have him turning into a high-ranking villian, because if TVD, and The Originals, taught us nothing; it is losing your humanity means you become a villian.

There needs to be an epic quest where Landon's friends band together to save him from himself. To restore his soul. It's the hero thing to do.

So, keep watching and feel free to share what you would want to see from S5.
