And if anyone is wondering - I know my hair could defo be more curly than this as my hair is in perfect ringlets when it's wet, and you can tell that most of my curls look frizzy and not in their "most perfect state" but I can't be bothered 😐

No fingercurling, gel, mousse, rituals or whatever, I'm just too unfocused for it. I've also tried sleeping with bonnets and various versions of that to protect my curls while sleeping, and it always triggers my migraines, no matter how loosely it sits on my head. So I've had to just let that go and be okay with having frizzy half-"straight"-meh hair half of the week

How Thora’s character design changes through Inquisition:

Prologue: Armour not unlike what we start the game in, it has the look of being scavenged and cobbled together from various pieces found in her travels. That’s because it is. She spends most of the prologue using a two-handed sword rather than a hammer, and is quite clumsy with it. It isn’t until meeting Leliana on the mountainside that she’s able to equip herself properly.

Haven: She has fitted armour, designed for her body by Harrit, but not particularly for her. It has no personal flair and matches what Inquisition soldiers wear throughout the game. Her casual clothes are simple but with an unmistakable Carta dwarf flair.

Skyhold, part 1: She commissions armour from Harritt and Dagna with her own design elements thrown in. It resembles the armour dwarven warriors wear in Orzammar, with blue and gold accents. Her casual clothes remain more masculine, but her wardrobe is larger than it’s ever been. She starts growing out her hair for the first time in ten years.

Wicked Eyes & Wicked Hearts: Thora thinks it’s important the Inquisition presents as a single unit and goes in uniform, but hers is white and gold with each member of the inner circle having a broach picked out by them. It’s designed by her half-sister, Sylvi Cadash, who owns and runs tailor in Ostwick (although she relocates for the latter half of Inquisition to support her sister).

Skyhold, part 2: Having her sister there as a dwarven tailor makes her more daring. While Thora prefers to dress in more masculine clothes, allows herself to take the occasional urge to wear dresses and skirts. Her wardrobe has a lot of rich blues, golds, and reds, but in general she prefers bright colours. She has a second set of armour crafted after finding Ameridan that reflects her title as Inquisitor. As her hair grows in length, she most often wears it in cornrows, fingercurls, or a short afro while it’s still growing, although if it’s a calm day at Skyhold she’s quite happy to wear it in a scarf.

Trespasser: Her hair is much longer and worn partially or wholly braided, and occasionally in bantu knots. She has out-of-battle clothes that are clearly dwarven in influence, owing to her diplomatic trip to Orzammar after the events of Inquisition.

Post-Trespasser: She spends most of her time out of armour, and quite happily. Thora has two prosthetics, one which is wooden and more like what we would find in our world at the particular point Dragon Age exists in, and beautifully carved and painted. The second was designed by Dagna a year or two after Trespasser. It’s made of Paragon’s Luster and has dwarven runes which spell out her favourite poem by Paragon Lynchcar. This one has articulating fingers but needs consistent up-keep, and so can’t always be worn if she doesn’t have access to someone with that ability.
