I had to make an epilogue to the Sock Princess comic because Fionna and Cake made it canon kind of. it's literally not my fault

I feel like, no matter what somebody wishes for in order to try to improve Simon's situation pre-Golb (aka: trying to improve life as I've King/prevent life as I've King), it would always turn out horribly for him.

"I wish Simon never found the crown!" He's probably going to die before he could find it in the first place.

"I wish Simon didn't put the crown on!" Okay, Betty did.

"I wish that he never met Betty, so he wouldn't grieve over her, and wouldn't be stealing princesses as Ice King!" Okay, he just would've been with somebody else, and who TF knows how that relationship turned out. Ice King would probably be twice as dangerous, too, since he'd probably have different plans.

Like, it will never turn out good. I feel this goes for most every wish that Prismo grants, but it is more apparent with wishes regarding Simon and Betty's past. It's going to be fulfilled, and it might seem good at first, but the butterfly effect will inevitably hit and make things worse than in the original universe/timeline.
