This may be a bit personal but what was your first kiss like?

My first kiss was when I was a teenager. Just after my freshman homecoming dance. It was a super awkward stilted thing.

I was uncomfortable with my body and extremely touch averse. Kissing someone was way outside of my comfort zone, but we had such a fun time at the dance.

It was time to part ways for the night and my sister was waiting in the car to drive me home. We were standing in the headlights holding eachother and saying good bye when I nervously squeaked “can I kiss you” and my date calmly said “yes.”

I had no idea how to kiss somebody. It’s not exactly something you can practice on your own. I leaned forward slowly, nervously, and I stopped. I was centimeters from her lips and couldn’t bring myself to close the gap. I was so nervous. After a moment that felt like an hour I finally moved the rest of the way and kissed her.

I pulled away far too quickly. I was almost in shock. I had just kissed a girl for the first time. It was so painfully awkward, but I did it!

What comes after a kiss? I certainly didn’t know. I was thankful for the experience, so I shyly said “thank you” and ran to the car. I begged my sister to get us out of there quickly, and we backed out of the driveway leaving my date standing there bewildered.

FACTS. I feel like him feeling human emotions really makes him sloppy at romantic interactions and borderline needy at times. He's like catching up on things he had "lost" during him being a "nameless monster". Forgive him for being absurdly gross, it's his first shot at life after being ontologically dead for most of his existence. 😭

ontologically dead is such an accurate way of phrasing it I love it!! Like exactly!!! This is Johan's first try at being human. He's going to go through human experiences now in all the wrong, repressed, and ungraceful ways. Key word: ungraceful. Which is why Johan kissing you, like actually kissing you, after years of meaningless social interaction, is gonna be soooooooooooo messy and gross. He's gonna be like some hungry teenager with his first crush. THE most unrefined kissing you can think of. Smushing his face against you, pushing his lips towards yours a bit too hard, parting your mouth, tongue slipping in and rubbing against yours, and exploring everything so fully and deeply. He's exploring the missing parts of his humanity through all the little nooks and crannies of your mouth. I'm gonna be so gross here but it will feel like he's literally trying to clean your mouth out HFKLAHDJH forgive him. He just needs to leave no stone unturned okay. He wouldn't allow himself to part for just a second, even when you try to catch your breathe his lips don't leave yours, opened and catching in everything you're giving him. Your breathe, your spit, everything. You'd be inhaling each other at that point :/// sorry. It was hot.

Then again it was always hot on Tatooine.

But today it was different.

The heat had gone above what the outdated thermometer in the hut could read and the old cooling system barely helped. The scorched earth was physically too hot to touch with even clothed feet and the visible mirage of heat distorted the landscape.

You were on the floor, stripped to your small clothes with a wet cloth covering your face. “We need to get a new system.”

“Agreed.” Shirtless and in his own small clothes, Obi-Wan was on the floor next to you.

“In the four years we’ve been on this rock. I don’t think the heat has ever been this bad.” You laughed half-heartedly.

It takes a moment for Obi-Wan to respond. “Four years?”

“Time flies.” You rolled your head to the side, taking off the cloth to grimace at him. He goes silent, the only sound is the rattling of the cooling unit on the precipice of exploding or hopefully chugging on and the labored breath between you both.

“Thank you.” He finally spoke.

“For what?” Your brow furrowed.

“Doing this with me.”

He rolled over on his side, long auburn hair falling around his tanned face. Beard still in tact but speckled with stray grays and whites. Head now propped up by his elbow. He glistened with sweat. “Thank you for being here with me.”

His eyelashes were a golden red, long, and thick. He had freckles on the bridge of his nose flushing out to dot his cheeks. A brilliant open ocean that shone under the rays of his eyelashes.

Your chest stopped moving. There’s a hitch in the back of your throat. An ache in between your thighs.

His lips were dry, in need of a salve.

You’re sure he thinks the same of yours.

He’s slow with his movements, making agonizingly steady work with your lips.

His breath was hot, scalding almost when he pulled away. “I’m sorry.”

“It’s fine.” You stood up from the floor, removing yourself from his bodily cage.

Obi-wan rolled onto his back, palms digging into his eye sockets quietly berating himself for what he just done. He thought that this is what you wanted, been yearning for. Certainly that’s what he has been feeling.

The fresher door clicked shut behind you.
