i posted a new lil fic saturday and since i know there are plenty of peeps that are RWRB and 911 fans well that's today's words

words from What if I say I love you my FIRST lil firstfire (alex/buck) fic

They kiss, and Alex can’t help but think about how happy he would be to stay here the rest of the night doing just this. The slow slide of their lips and tongues, teeth nipping, is almost too much, yet Alex isn’t sure it could ever be enough. He finds himself in Buck’s lap, with Buck’s hand cradling the side of his face as if he’s something precious, and it makes him want to say fuck it and skip the rest of the evening. If he hadn’t drug Buck all the way out here for this, he would be considering it a bit more seriously, but he knows they need to be there. He also really wants to show off Buck and how fucking good he looks. Alex pulls back. He needs to find something to do that isn’t kissing Buck if he plans to make it through the night. “I really want to keep kissing you.” “You can,” Buck says with a laugh, leaning back toward Alex’s lips. Alex leans back further, laughing. “No, we have to be at the dinner. If I stay here kissing you, the only place we will be is back in my room.”

Happy Sunday everyone!! I'm trying to get back onto the train of doing these things every week to motivate me to write, so here I am, and today I'm going to give you TWO snips because I'm feeling generous! I would also like to add that I had a fic go up yesterday, take me back to the light, which is a Buck/Alex crossover fic that I am very proud of and would love for you to read if you're into that. One of my snips is going to be more of that pairing. Thank you to @onthewaytosomewhere , @blueeyedgrlwrites , @sophie1973 , and @run-for-chamo-miles for the tags today!

First snip is going to be from my demon!Alex/demon hunter!Henry au. I'm really excited about this one and hoping to get more of it written so I can start posting it for spooky season!

“Where’s your sense of humor, Henry?” “I’m sorry, Alex, but I’m failing to find the humor in this situation. You could have seriously injured someone, and—” Alex’s smile drops as a sigh falls from his lips. If he doesn’t laugh it off, he thinks he might actually cry from just how overwhelming everything is that’s happening to him right now. In the span of months he’s been  1. Attacked by a demon 2. Discovered there is something deeply wrong with him, and 3. Started losing chunks of consciousness because of the above. So really, his ability to still find humor in these situations is something close to a miracle.

Second snip is from another firstfire (Buck/Alex) au I'm working on! I dunno if this one will see the light of day ever, so I figured it'd be fun to put it here. Have Alex being relieved his boyfriend was not the firefighter trapped underground.

“Buck.” He doesn’t wait; he doesn’t even really think. He launches himself off of the last stair and into Buck’s arms, because professionalism be damned. Alex knows he’s exhausted, can feel it in the tense set of Buck’s shoulders, how he wavers slightly when Alex’s weight hits him, but still sweeps him up and holds him tightly, his strong arms wrapping around Alex’s shoulders, holding him tightly like a weighted blanket. Buck’s soaking wet from head to toe, he’s tracking in mud and he smells, but he’s here and he’s not in the hospital and that’s everything. Buck’s lips find Alex’s, and Alex is giddy with the joy that curls his toes, that he can still hold Evan Buckley like this, kiss him without much abandon and savor the feeling of him here, alive. Alex kisses him like life might depend on it, like he's the first breath of fresh air on a spring day, because god, this is what he’d needed. There’s a relief that’s bright and heady and running through his veins, and Alex breaks the kiss, leans his forehead against Buck’s shoulder as he buries his face in the juncture between Alex’s neck and shoulder. “It wasn't you,” Alex's words are colored with his relief.  “It wasn't me,” Buck confirms, his words breathed out against the sensitive skin of Alex's neck. Alex pulls back and frames Buck’s face with his hands, letting the pads of his fingers skim across warm skin, feeling the rush of life between his hands. He’s so thankful Buck isn’t in the hospital that a giddy smile wraps across his lips.

yo kiddies, it's here!!! my first firstfire fic (other than that lil one yesterday on here lolz)

Alex is nervous, it’s the first time Buck will be here at the White House, and it’s, of course, a fucking state dinner as Alex’s plus one. But schedules are complicated to arrange, which means this is also their hard launch as a couple—really, the whole idea is making him wanna hurl. Buck’s meeting everyone before it, so he’ll not have to meet them during it, which is somewhat calming for both of them. Alex helped him pick out the perfect outfit and recommended a stylist to help him figure out what to do when he was floundering. Right now, the stylist is in one of the guest rooms with Buck putting on the finishing touches, and Alex is pacing his room. He was kicked out of the room earlier. Buck said he wanted to surprise him with how well he cleans up. He, of course, told him he didn’t need him cleaned up—he likes him dirtied up much better, and all he got was a kiss and a swat on his ass as he was sent on his way. - or it's a firstfire fic and these boys are both sweet as frak - so ya know ya wanna read it lolz
