SO I beeen dealin w/ my inner demons a lot lately. Grown up as a "People Pleaser", is not a great quality. Yes it sounds perfect for all who are around you, because they can use you to their benies. Take and take and take till there is nothing left. We as People Pleasers do NOT engage in confrontation, even the slightest. We walk on egg shells. We agree w/ whatever everyone else wants and says. WE DO NOT PRIORITIZE OURSELVES... this is NOT OKAY. 43 years of my life I have been pleasing EVERYONE around me. And in doing so its literally started to eat away at me from the inside out. Mental Health and physical body are deteriorating right in front of me and YOU!!! But those people that continue to take and take just see that as an easier way to get what they want from you. I am still a work in progress but I sure as HELL will NOT be people pleasing any longer. And that goes for ALLLL People. Family. Friends. PEOPLE!!! I deserve every bit of love I dish out. So trust me ma darlings. If you are in my presence from here on out and receiving my beautiful love I that enjoy to dish out. YOU ARE MAGICAL!!!

Yet He has chosen me...

"To the LORD your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it. Yet the LORD set his affection on your ancestors and loved them, and he chose you, their descendants, above all the nations—as it is today. Circumcise your hearts, therefore, and do not be stiff-necked any longer. For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes." Deuteronomy 10:14-17 

Do you ever felt like an option? Do you ever think like you were treated less important than others? Felling inferior? I guess all of us did.

Many of us feel down just because we feel like we can never be treated special by anyone, or even when people treat us special there will be times when we never come first to their life. But not with our heavenly God because we are His favorite and we always come first for Him.

Imagine how great and awesome God is. Imagine how big He is. “To the Lord your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it.” He has everything right before His eyes, things more spectacular than we can imagine. Practically speaking, we can’t win over the brightness of a star, or over the blooms of a flower, or the sparkle of a gem. YET, we are God’s favorite. He said “Yet the Lord set his affection and chose you above all else.”

Isn’t it too overwhelming to be treated that way! He is the God and creator of everything in heavens and on earth. But His eyes are fixed only in you and His heart faithfully loves you.

The verse says, “he shows no partiality and accepts no bribes” hence, we gave nothing to gain His affection. Out of His will, He pinpointed us and loved us from then on.

Dear Father God, I am truly sorry because I know that I was never worthy of your love for every single time I know that I continually hurt You. And I find it difficult in changing myself to the person You deserve, yet You love me the same. You don’t care how I behave and how my heart looks, You just chosen to die on the cross and give Your precious life for me. 

How can it be Lord? But THANK YOU FATHER GOD. Thank You for Your unconditional love and for choosing me everyday as your priority. Help me Lord to become atleast a little worthy in front of You.
