KELS KELS KELS, HOW WAS YOUR SHOW, DID YOU ENJOY IT?
HI ANONN!!!
I still can't process what I experienced yesterday!!! Last year, I wanted to go to his Milan show, but it's not that easy, and I was devastated because I was sure he wouldn't come here. When I saw the announcement, I had four heart attacks all at once.
I made a post about it, but I will say it again because the more I talk about it, the better. I was scared there wouldn't be that many people since they changed the venue last minute, but the crowd was huge. As far as I know, it wasn't sold out. However, it was crowded enough that we got to be really loud. I got to scream all the songs, but most importantly, walls, HOTH, Chicago, and silver tongues. It was honestly so healing. The megamix was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen as well.
Louis and his band were amazing as always. Every single video and livestream is nothing compared to how he sounds live, and I knew that, although you can only understand it if you are there. He commented several times about how this was one of his best shows, which just made me go all teary-eyed and emotional.
The fan projects were all adorable. We were also standing next to some other girls who were really kind. They gave us bracelets, and in the end, we took some pictures and exchanged numbers. My friend with whom I went, didn't know much about Louis, and guess what? She was mesmerized. She also told me that if he ever comes here again, we should go together again. It's just the Louis effect. You can't change it.
As someone who lives in a country, artists rarely visit, seeing Louis last night felt so validating. I really hope he comes here again at some point. After the success that was this show, I have more faith in the future (pun very much intended).
Now, I have to face the reality that I don't know when I will see him again, so I just watch the videos I took again and again, while scrolling in this show's tag on tumblr in between.

VTMNTS was established in 2021 as a more profound exploration of practical clothing. Drawing influence from sophisticated and modern utilitarian silhouettes, the ready to wear label occasionally takes cues from its older, bolder sibling label VETEMENTS.
