Bug Fixes for the Demo

Hi, everyone! Thanks to all who played the latest update with Part 1 of Chapter 2 today. I loved hearing your thoughts :) I'll start posting asks that have real spoilers on Sunday with the tag "ch2 spoilers".

In the meantime, I fixed the following bugs and just pushed the update for errors which I think are the majority of them. If there are any left, they should be minor!

Fixed some coding where the / was missing and caused issues.

Fixed a persistent bug where it refers to MC as “Their/They/Them" regardless of pronouns. (Pronouns are rarely used but I finally realized what wasn’t working so they should be correct moving forward.)

A couple minor typo errors.

A couple instances where the beginning of a sentence wasn’t capitalized, particularly when speaking to F in the library.

Lions named Kitty were accidentally called Ripper a couple times.

If you have time and want to share your thoughts, I would love to hear them. Whether they be positive/critical! After all, this is a WIP. I'm fine with hearing what choices you'd like to see as well. I do plan on polishing the game up after it's all said and done, so I keep a list of possibilities for future updates.

Shotgun errors and fixes

So far when I have tested the shotgun out, the bullets spawn from something that it shouldn't be, this is shown in the video, to fix this I put an arrow on the end of the gun, shown below

I then got a reference to the player, then the arrow and plugged that into the get world location into the add instead of the get socket location

This will now spawn every projectile from the arrow, and i can move around the arrow to make the projectile spawn wherever i want it to, that being the end of the barrel of the shotgun

as a kid i really liked the little minigames you could do at hotel richissime in xy, so i tried to make something up for hotel z! i'm thinking theres a set amount of these logic puzzles and when completed, the trainers included in it might appear in the lobby :)

A small bug report: in the Platonic F route, while the siblings argue, MC's options on how to stop them do not appear. I chose M!F if it helps.

EDIT: I figured it out and pushed a fix haha literally right after I posted this

Hmm. I've done some digging and I can't find this. Are you referring to the fight at the ball? I thought I changed it so that if you go to the ex-bff route, they don't fight. It's been a while so I can't remember ha. I'm thinking I must have missed something when I did this. I'll keep trying to figure it out. Sorry, Anon :(

Fixing gun Issues in game

When I first added the gun to the game, it had imported weirdly and you held the gun incorrectly, so I looked into fixing it.

To fix this issue, I used the modelling mode in unreal engine to fix this issue, by changing the location of where the gun pivots when you move it around, I had to change the rotation a lot as i couldn't get it quite right, but the rotation point is where the player grabs the gun, so that's why I needed it on that handle.

After I tinkered around with the gun a little i was able to put it in a good spot, but i will probably end up changing the location so it looks better in the view, and so you can see it as an actual shotgun.

Tho it would never happen, have u ever doodled how Scarlet Lady would look like if she had got a upgrade form? If yes, could u show us? (No pressure if not)

Surprisingly, you're not the first person to ask me about this lol. At first I wanted to put my foot down that you only get these power-upgrades if you're using the Miraculous for Good (maybe you'd even lose a power if you start using it for Evil). As is, the Miraculouses don't have any backlash if you misuse them UNLESS YOU'RE A CHILD, which I hate.

But let's be real, Shadowmoth proved that's bullshit with his I-Can-Do-Anything-Better-Than-You-Can Mega Akuma that can instantly defeat Ladybug's Lucky Charm upgrade, so sure. Even Chloe can get an upgrade if she just FEELS hard enough.
