After Diljit Dosanjh this time Taapsee Pannu now shares her Soorma Journey. She shares a video by her official twitter account with that she wrote.

Actress Taapsee Pannu will soon be seen in her upcoming movie 'Soorma' in different roles. This movie is based on the life of hockey player Sandeep Singh, 'Soorma' is the first sports film of Tapi. It was extremely challenging for the actress to play the role, and to overcome her role, the actress had to undergo special training in hockey so that she could give justice to her role. It is said that this training was given by Sandeep Singh himself to Tapi. This training of the actress was successful. Now in the film, she will play hockey like a celebrated player.

Diljit also share the same thing recently his training with Sandeep Singh and wrote.

Upcoming Bollywood sports Biopic Soorma | Diljit Dosanjh reveals his journey for the movie

Bollywood is now busy with making the biopics. If I say this decade of Bollywood is the decade of biopic.

Already Bollywood made many successful sports biopic movie. Some of the most successful best Bollywood biopics are Dangal (2016), M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016), Mary Kom (2014), Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (2013) etc. Recently Bollywood confirmed some other Sports biopics like Soorma, Gold. These two movies are related to our national game Hockey. Gold is the life story of Hockey player Balbir Singh Sr.. and Soorma is the life story of Hockey legend Sandeep Singh.

Soorma release date already declared by the team. The movie will be released on 13th of July 2018 whereas Gold will be released on 15th of August 2018.

The trailer and the first song of the movie already release. And the movie has got many good responses from the viewers. And also it was able to create some good amount of buzz among the audiences. Diljit Dosanjh, Taapsee Pannu is in the lead role. Diljit is playing the role of former Indian captain of the National hockey team, Sandeep Singh.

It was really outstanding. The hard work the effort he gave for the movie is absolutely amazing. Diljit tries so hard to make his personality which resembles Sandeep Singh’s personality. Reportedly Sandeep himself gave his time to train Diljit. Let’s hope for the best for Bollywood movie Soorma.

Taapsee Pannu is ready for her next release, Soorma opposite Diljit Dosanjh. She is playing the love interest of Sandeep Singh’s character in the film. She shared a glimpse from the days she spent rehearsing and shooting her act with her co-star Diljit Dosanjh from the sets of Soorma. Taapsee took to her social media and posted a collage of picture where she is seen practicing hockey with Diljit on the grounds. The film is based on Indian hockey legend Sandeep Singh and interestingly, the hockey legend himself trained the star cast of the film so that they perform with complete authenticity of a sportsman. Taapsee shared as she posted the pictures, “From the first day of shoot for #Soorma  What a challenge and at the same time an honour to be playing this sport! And we weren’t bad coach sir…. right??? @flickersingh #13July2018” (sic)

Taapsee and Diljit would practice in this stadium for hours together and Tapsee shares one of those moments on social media.  Soorma talks about Sandeep’s struggles to overcome paralysis, getting on his own feet after two years post an accidental gunshot that injured him. India won the 2009 Sultan Azlan Shah Cup under Sandeep’s captaincy. He is also regarded as the most dangerous drag-flickers of all time with drag speeds of over 145 km/hr which led to his nickname, Flicker Singh.

Soorma is produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions, Chitrangda Singh, and Deepak Singh which will release on 13th July 2018.
