a/n: this is absolutely me self-indulging and gods i-- SCREAMS INTO THE KEYBOARD. anyways for those that know how coding is like or are learning coding (like me)... i hope you enjoy.

sylus, who you didn't even realize was behind because you were too engrossed in coding displayed on your screen, doesn't make his presence known and simply watches as the cursor travels up and down the code.

these labs were making your head throb, still unable to discern what the hell was going on with the code. you knew you were missing something, but what is it?

despite you having your back facing him, he can already picture the way your brows furrowed or how your eyes flickered to the code, the screen, and paper you were flipping through. just as you were able to give up, his moved to cage you with his arms against the desk, causing you to jump slightly.

"ugh, sylus—!" you yelped, snapping your head towards him.

just as you were about to scold him, you catch his smile and how his eyes fluttered shut as he rested his chin on your shoulder, as if the man didn't just make you jump out of your skin just now, his chuckle making you melt almost instantly.

damn handsome bastard.

"frustrated, sweetie? here, let me help you," he questioned, his breath fanning against your skin.

he moved his hands to hover over the keyboard, his eyes drifting to the screen as he began searching through the code, inputting a few more as his fingers tapped against the keys. then, he grabbed your hand and guided it to tap, tap, tap against the arrow keys until reaching the damn culprit.

a measly missed colon.

as if he could feel your body heating up in aggravation due to a single character having been missed all this time in the cursed programming language, he places a tender kiss on the side of your neck. he trailed his lips up to the back of your ear, unable to help the chuckle that escaped him.

"relax, kitten. you'll get it... but, next time, you do know you can ask me for help, right? all you have to do is ask."

but before you could retort and speak of anything against asking for help—a habit he knows all too well, and understands and never reprimands you for it—he spun you around so that you are facing him, his slender digits curling around the arm of the chair, one of his hand then lifting to cup your chin, titling your head up as your eyes lock with one another.

"come with me, you should take a break, hm?" he whispered against your lips as he leaned in and placed a chaste one onto them.

you reply with a feigned irritated sigh, but a smile easily appeared on your face, your hand reaching out to his outstretched one and easing out of the chair, following him out of the room you had been cramped in for hours on end. your fingers intertwined with his.

"alright, maybe for a few minutes..."

you know im unable to shut up when i have any opinion on zelda (though i try and have thus far succeeded at not commenting on any other concept from the darn book)- i find most totk ganondorf concept art worse than what we got to insulting even (of those i have seen) ..... this one though

much more the one in the background than the one up front, still at least he has the collar and the weapon we saw in the first trailer of things that never happen in the end (like so much else)

First thing! I made a couple patterns! This is for a class, critique is tomorrow and I am so over this project. Patterns are hard to make apparently but I'm not mad at the way my fish one looks. The spooky one looks terrible and I'm so sad about it.

Physically printed these out too bcs they're digital which was kinda cool. I need to learn how to make prints and all that so it's a step in the right direction.

DP X DC X Subnautica

Where the Justice League (mostly focusing on the Superfam or Batfam or Flashfam) are large leviathan-esque creatures living on Planet 4546B. Maybe they can change forms due to Precursor experimentation, maybe not. Those with young hang out around the shallows more than the others, what with most of them being large super or specialized predators.

Enter Danny Fenton, interning on the Aurora when the ship is shot down by the Quarantine Enforcement Platform. Oh sure he probably would have tried to stop the destruction and help, but his ghost powers are a bit on the fritz and a well-meaning worker pushes him into one of the last life pods seeing as he's a child.

Now the leviathans may not know what a ship is exactly, but they can definitely understand that in most cases things technology = precursors. As far as they understand, a metal deathtrap not unlike the old labs or caches fell alongside several metallic eggs, with the emerging hatchlings misshapen and not living long.

But then there's the egg that landed in the shallows, which at first they thought was empty. But a hatchling- much smaller than the previous ones- emerges, a day later than the rest, but they're alive even if their swimming is all wobbly! It's so tiny, and obviously hatched too early with the strange split tail and how it keeps swimming to the surface for air, and they have to protect it! Now if only the little hatchling would answer their calls and not dart into hiding spots whenever they approach...

Honestly this is up to the writer lol, but I like to think that Danny's ghost form, when he finally manages to achieve it again, goes a little naga-esque. Almost like a sea snake instead of just a whispy ghost tail, which while better for swimming doesn't help his freak out over most ghost powers still not working.

Danny is just trying to survive man, maybe find other survivors, turn off this big alien gun, stop creating frost crystals when he sneezes, the usual. He doesn't need giant humanoid-esque leviathan-sized sea creatures poking around!

Did some mental gymnastics for funzies. Going through the different story arcs and writing down release dates/year, episode count, etc.

After looking through all the release dates of previous arcs. I noticed that every starting arc of the year starts on the third Saturday of the month. (Except for the Waluigi arc. Which started on the fourth week) . A pretty solid routine they've had for the past 6 years.

So with that. I'm predicting the arc will (hopefully) start next week. And if not, then April 19th. But I really hope it doesn't come to that.

*fully sweating bullets and thousand yard staring into space as the king of hearts starts to talk about losing the person you love and what you'd be willing to do to get them back* this better not be fUCKING thematic foreshadowing for what this story is meant to head towards eventually (I say, with little hope and great trepidation). we're just going to be thematically microdosing on that in the main krew right folks. no one's going to be lost forever. right??!?!

(though I must admit that the idea of some of them dying and being brough back because that is someone else's heart's desire -- because 'what would even be the point of being given anything else, if you aren't here with me' -- would render me fully incapable of being normal ever again and forever goodnight)
